It is quite fitting that the band derived its moniker from a notorious 19th century gang of the same name. Around the mid 1800s, the historical New York hoodlums were commissioned by other street gangs to incite riots. Today, these five musical renegades spark a similar explosion, but with verbose riffs, thought provoking vocals and a smooth yet raucous groove. Formed in 2004, The Parlor Mob hone in on the quintessential New York rock ‘n roll sound with a vibe that keeps things fresh as they conjure a vibrant mystique and smoky blues sensibility. Timed with the 40th anniversary of the festival, the original Woodstock soundtracks MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK AND MORE: WOODSTOCK and WOODSTOCK TWO will be packaged together and released as a 5-LP boxed set titled WOODSTOCK: 3 DAYS OF PEACE & MUSIC. The LPs are cut from the original analog soundboard tapes and the package also includes a 20-page, oversized 12"x 12" photo book.
Originally released in 1970 as a triple-LP, MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK AND MORE: WOODSTOCK topped Billboard's Pop album chart for four weeks, and was a Top 20 R&B album as well. Following the chart-topping, multiplatinum success of the original soundtrack, 1971's WOODSTOCK TWO served up even more peace and music. Originally released as a double-LP, it expands the listening experience with 16 additional performances.

The Drive-By Truckers have been making music together for 13 years resulting in 7 critically acclaimed studio albums which could not contain all of the songs written by the band. DBT recently dug into the New West Records vaults and put the finishing touches on a selection of songs that were never quite completed. The result of the collaboration is The Fine Print: A Collection of Oddities and Rarities 2003-2008, a 12-track album of previously unreleased and rare songs. The Fine Print features songs written by band members past and present, including Patterson Hood, Mike Cooley and Jason Isbell. Seven of the twelve songs come from The Dirty South era, a highly creative time for DBT. The record also contains four covers including "Rebels" by Tom Petty, which the band recorded originally for the TV show King of the Hill and "Like A Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan which provided Shonna Tucker with her first ever lead vocal performance on a DBT recording.

The Band's 1968 debut, Music From Big Pink was released at the height of the psychedelic revolution and its earthy and more roots oriented sound turned the music world on its ear. Stevie Ray Vaughan's 1983 debut album, Texas Flood, was a phenomenal success, climbing into the Top 40 and spending over half a year on the charts, which was practically unheard of for a blues recording. The record plays like a dynamite club show, filled with crowd-pleasing originals and covers, all performed with unbridled enthusiasm. Certified Gold on August 13, 1990; certified Platinum on January 22, 1992.
