Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions

The base for all of the other Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solution, Ultra Pure Water is the most effective as a final rinse after steps one and two. Even with machine cleaning, and especially with hand cleaning, there is a possibility of some contaminant residue (not fluid residue!) remaining after the cleaning steps one and two. Ultra-Pure Water provides an additional cleaning cycle to remove any contaminant that may remain on the record surface. This product, which is also extremely effective as a rinse for brushes and pick up tubes, is filtered to an exceptionally pure state and has the correct pH for maximum effectiveness. This product is also the basis for all of the Audio Intelligent Vinyl Solutions record cleaning formulas.

This formula is an Isopropanol-free alternative to the Super Cleaner Formula as the second cleaning step. Premium Archivist Formula retains the cleaning effectiveness of the Super Cleaner Formula, but is formulated to work without the Isopropanol component. This product is safe and effective for cleaning all records including shellacs. The Premium Archivist Formula also works on the principles of enzyme cleaning, but targets different contaminants than the Enzymatic Formula. Separating cleaning functions between two formulas allows each formula to perform its specific task more efficiently. The natural surfactant in the formula lifts these contaminants to the upper portion of the cleaning fluid layer on the record so they can be easily removed. For best results, we recommended leaving the Enzymatic Formula on the record for one minute or two. In instances with heavily contaminated records or those that have never been cleaned before, repeating the cleaning process or soaking the record for extended periods of time will be very helpful. When soaking, be sure to add enough fluid and spread it over the entire record surface to avoid evaporation on the record surface. This is the first step in the Audio Intelligent record care system.

This formula contains a very small amount of Isopropanol which aids a specific enzyme component in the formula in performing its duty. There is absolutely no detrimental effect of this amount of alcohol but if you prefer a 2nd step without any alcohol, there is also the Premium Archivist Formula without the alcohol to use as the second step.
