Rega RP3 Titanium - Elys 2 Cartridge

Comes with an Elys 2 cartridge - factory fitted!
The RP3 has been designed and engineered to achieve outstanding performance way beyond the expectations of a product at this price point. Excellent build quality, reliability and ease of use combine to make a product which, if used correctly, will offer a lifetime of musical enjoyment. Omitting unnecessary gimmicks allows us to concentrate the manufacturing costs on the high quality parts necessary to reproduce records accurately. The RP3 is fitted with a brand new hand assembled RB303 tonearm, precision main bearing and a low vibration low noise 24v motor assembly which is individually hand tuned to its circuit to further reduce vibration.
DB Technology (Double Brace Technology)
"Mass absorbs energy - lost energy equals lost music"! Rega has pioneered the use of lightweight rigid plinths. Clever use of lightweight particulate core with a highly rigid phenolic resin skin became the foundations of the high level of performance achieved by the now iconic Planar turntable range. The RP3 takes this design philosophy to the next level. A super lightweight plinth combined with a phenolic resin double brace mounted specifically where the increased rigidity is required (between the tonearm mounting and the main hub bearing) forms a structurally sound "stressed beam" assembly. This rigid plinth design prevents energy absorption and unwanted resonances which will add unnatural distortions to the music. Equally, heavier mass can transfer more unwanted energy such as motor or bearing noise directly into the rotating record. The use of braces instead of the complete skin allows double thickness phenolic resin in these key areas while providing further weight reduction to the plinth which directly addresses the issue of mass absorption and unwanted energy transmission.
RB303 Tonearm - Making the best better
Designed using the latest 3D CAD & CAM technology the new RB303 is the culmination of more than 30 years of tonearm design experience. Due to advances in technology we have been able to fine tune the iconic RB300 tonearm design. Featuring a brand new tube with increased rigidity to the bearing housing, arm carrier and headshell coupled with intelligent redistribution of mass ensure this arm will exhibit fewer points of possible resonance. Extreme stability with almost friction free movement from the high precision bearing assemblies guarantee to gather more information from your vinyl than ever before.
Elys 2 Cartridge
The Rega Elys 2 is a Moving Magnet cartridge that uses uses an elliptical diamond stylus. Offering outstanding sound quality, this cartridge is highly recommended for any turntable, but is the perfect choice for your Rega turntable!
Recent developments in coil winding techniques have allowed Rega to use their innovative parallel wound coil in the Elys 2. This technique uses approximately one third less wire than previous models, thus producing a more efficient and reduced mass cartridge.

The RP6 has been designed and engineered to achieve outstanding performance way beyond the expectations of a product at this price point. Excellent build quality, reliability and ease of use combine to make a product which, if used correctly, will offer you a lifetime of musical enjoyment. Omitting unnecessary gimmicks allows us to concentrate the manufacturing costs on the high quality parts necessary to reproduce music accurately. RB303 Tonearm
Designed using the latest 3D CAD technology the new RB303 is the culmination of more than 30 years of tonearm design experience. Due to advances in technology we have been able to fine tune the iconic RB300 tonearm design. Featuring a brand new tube which has increased rigidity to the bearing housing, arm carrier and headshell coupled with intelligent redistribution of mass, ensure this arm will exhibit fewer points of possible resonance. Extreme stability with almost friction free movement from the high precision bearing assemblies guarantee to gather more information from your vinyl than ever before.
TTPSU power supply
The compact TT-PSU uses a high stability crystal locked low distortion sine wave generator. This, along with an efficient drive amplifier fed from a stabilised DC power supply, generates a 24V AC balanced signal of less than 0.05% distortion, which is completely un-affected by any changes in the mains/line voltage and conditions. This then drives the improved Rega anti-vibration circuit built into the RP6 motor PCB.
Platter adaptor
The aluminium top hub adaptor is manufactured to the highest tolerance and uses a six point mounting system to ensure the platter and vinyl is presented as flat as possible to the stylus.
NEW DB Technology (Double BraceTechnology)
“Mass absorbs energy - lost energy equals lost music”! Rega has pioneered the use of lightweight rigid plinths. The use of braces instead of the complete skin allows double thickness phenolic resin in these key areas while providing further weight reduction to the plinth which directly addresses the issue of mass absorption and unwanted energy transmission.
16MM Glass flywheel platter
The RP6 features an innovative two piece platter design constructed from float glass. Manufactured using a complex and labour intensive invisible UV curing bond technique the secondary ring platter is permanently bonded to the underside of the main platter. The extra ring adds mass to the outer circumference which increase the natural flywheel effect of the platter improving speed stability, accuracy and consistency.
24V Low noise motor
The motor is a high specification, 24V twin phase synchronous unit which has the anti vibration circuit hand tuned to each motor and is controlled by Rega's unique and innovative TTPSU power supply. The motor drives the CNC machined pulley and sub platter/hub-bearing assembly via the belt drive.
EXACT Cartridge
The Exact shares the same body moulding as the rest of the Rega cartridge range. This is a one piece body and has no energy sapping joints between the stylus mounting and headshell contact face. The headshell face is machined perfectly flat to ensure
maximum contact between cartridge and headshell.

 Classic 1 (Walnut) (B-Stock)
VPI
$2,474.99
Classic 1 - Walnut
|
B Stock - Few minor blemishes
The VPI Classic 1 turntable comes standard with the unipivot JMW-10.5i tonearm Special Edition in rigid mount mode, new VPI silver coated pure copper wire, a 2.5" thick plinth trimmed with real black oak or real solid walnut finish (at no additional cost), a solid mounted 600 RPM AC synchronous motor, new 2" thick machined aluminum platter, silent inverted bearing, and new isolator feet derived from the HR-X.
The sound of the Classic 1 turntable is fast, clean, wide open, with deep powerful bass, and unequalled in speed stability. The Classic 1 turntable" gives any turntable made regardless of price a serious "run for the money."
This completely new design has produced the simplest and one of the best sounding VPI tables to date.
VPI "Classic Turntable" Features:
Special Edition JMW-10.5i SE tonearm - By giving up "vta on the fly" adjustments, you get most of the sound of the highly reviewed JMW-10.5i tonearm. A new less expensive base and mounting saves hundreds of dollars but gives up little in sound.
New 6061 machined aluminum 18 pound high inertia platter with precision inverted bearing and stainless steel damping plate.
Speed stability on par with a master tape - Due to the rigid mounting of motor - platter - tonearm there is no random motion to cause speed instabilities.
Noise rejection allowing the Classic 1 turntable to sit on a wood shelf near four 15" subwoofers and having virtually no feedback.
Lack of random motion between the motor - platter - tonearm gives the ultimate in low level resolution. Not only does this rigidity improve speed stability, it also allows the retrievel of low level information challenging the world's great turntables and master tapes.
Absolutely solid, non-resonating laminated one-piece chassis holding all components. This is not a wooden frame; it is a solid laminated 2.5" thick MDF block with 11 gauge steel attached to the top with silicone and long bolts through all the layers. The chassis weighs 30 pounds and is totally non-resonant. Now with solid black oak or solid walnut wood finish on all four sides.
RCA jack termination so you can use the interconnect of your choice.
Tonearm anti-skate - For those that require the fine adjustment of anti-skate, it is standard on the JMW-10.5i SE.
Optional lift off full dustcover is available.
Optional periphery ring clamp.
Optional SDS power supply.
Optional XLR conectors.

Need help choosing the right turntable for you? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.
The Re-Birth of the Scout!
Celebrating over 10 years in production! The Scout 1.1 is an upgrade from the previous version, featuring a new aluminum platter.
Scout 1.1 Turntable with JMW-9T Tonearm and Metal Scout Platter
Re-introducing the audio world to the best-selling VPI table of all time - better than the old one, better than it should be at this price! The Scout has become the worlds best-reviewed turntable! The Scout is the lowest priced turntable in Stereophile's Class "B" and has attained high performance records worldwide.
For stability and damping, the Scout 1.1's chassis is made from 1 1/8" thick MDF bonded to a 12 gauge steel plate. The new massive platter is machined 1
3/8" thick 6061 aluminum with stainless steel damping mounted to an oil bath bearing by a number 2 Jacobs Taper for a very solid fit. The bearing has a PEEK thrust disc and machined graphite impregnated brass bushings using a Thompson Engineering 60 Rockwell case hardened shaft. The 600 RPM AC synchronous motor is contained in a separate steel housing and drives the platter with smooth, quiet operation. The included Traveler mat is very good at damping record resonances.
The new JMW-9T tonearm is the perfect complement to the Scout, offering all the advantages of a unipivot tonearm at a bargain price. The arm has a no friction bearing mounted onto a solid stainless steel rod with a knurled ring to set VTA (Vertical Tracking Angle).
As with the more expensive JMW-10.5i" and JMW-12.7" arms, the tonearm wand assembly of the JMW-9T can be removed and replaced in seconds. This allows instant cartridge changes with multiple armwands. An RCA junction box allows any RCA-terminated interconnects to be used.

The RP6 is fitted with a hand assembled RB303 tonearm, precision main bearing and a low vibration low noise 24v motor assembly which is individually hand tuned to its circuit to further reduce vibration. The minimalist design of the Rega RP6 and the use of extremely high quality components ensure that your turntable should last for many years.
Clever use of lightweight particulate core with a highly rigid phenolic resin skin became the foundations of the high level of performance achieved by the now iconic Planar turntable range. The latest generation of Rega turntables takes this design philosophy to the next level. A super lightweight plinth combined with a phenolic resin double brace mounted specifically where the increased rigidity is required (between the tonearm mounting and the main hub bearing) forms a structurally sound “stressed beam” assembly.

"It is a work of art, Harry Weisfeld's best. Amen! Five Stars."
- Harry Pearson
The Classic line pays homage to the great turntables of the past that have been synonymous with state of the art turntable design. The Classic has been the best selling turntable VPI has ever made and is still outselling production. The sales and rave reviews from around the world are based on the glorious sound and the incredible speed stability, speed stability normally associated with $10K plus designs. Our top of the line Classic 3 represents a significant step forward in both performance and aesthetics pushing the envelope as far as we can to deliver the best sounding turntable VPI has ever made.
The Classic 3 features a ˝" thick machined aluminum plinth bonded to a 1/8" steel sub plate, bonded to 2" of MDF creating a plinth which is so massive and well damped it virtually eliminates resonance.
For the Classic 3 we updated the arm with a new stainless steel arm-tube, bearing assembly, base mounting, and Nordost Valhalla wiring from cartridge to RCA (or XLR) output jacks. To maintain the amazing speed stability of the Classic design we include the extremely popular Periphery Ring Clamp and HR-X weight.
New feet were designed for greater stability, better isolation, and a matching look to the larger chassis. To complete the visual aesthetic of this state of the art design, we chose a deep Piano Black finish to perfectly counterpoint the silvery sheen of the top section. Gorgeous and glorious, the Classic 3 is an absolute triumph! Manufacturers who have received there Classic 3 are using adjectives like "Gorgeous", "Quietest table I've ever heard", "How could it be so inexpensive", "Speed stability like my digital masters".
The sound of the Classic 3 Turntable is powerful, airy, shockingly quick, and deathly quiet, with speed stability equal to any turntable in the world at any price.

 MMF 11.1
Music Hall
$4,495.00
MMF 11.1 Turntable
|
The music hall mmf-11.1 turntable, our latest flagship, is a 2-speed belt driven audiophile turntable featuring the unique quadruple-plinth construction originated by music hall. The distinctive design isolates the critical sound reproducing components each on their own plinth. The tonearm is mounted to the upper plinth and the inverted ceramic main bearing is mounted to the second plinth allowing the partially sunken 1 1/2" acrylic platter to spin freely. Moving the main bearing to the second plinth improved cartridge tracking and significantly lowered background noise. The adjustable magnetic-levitation isolation feet, microprocessor speed control, motors, flywheel, and wiring are all mounted to the bottom plinth. The motors, flywheel, and speed control are further isolated on their own vibration damped dual-plinth platform, which is separately isolated from the upper three main plinths. Sorbothane hemispheres separate each of the three main plinths and provide additional vibration damping. The bottom plinth functions as a mass-loaded resonant sink for the entire turntable. Two motors and a flywheel are used to increase torque and speed stability. The mmf-11.1 comes in a high-gloss piano black lacquer finish and ships without cartridge. A large encapsulating acrylic dustcover is included.

Need help choosing the right turntable for you? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.
Comes with an EXACT cartridge - factory fitted!

B Stock
Need help choosing the right turntable for you? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.

 PD-171 Turntable
Luxman
$6,400.00
Turntable
|
It has been 28 years since Luxman last introduced its award winning PD-350 analogue disc player in 1983.
Building on their institutional knowledge gained from developing numerous turntables over the decades, and marrying the advancements in mechanical isolation as well as improved amplifier design for the power supply, not to mention digital speed control to deliver perfect pitch & timbre; Luxman are proud to announce the PD-171 turntable.
^ Flat belt drive, less slippage, than the typical round belt with a high torque synchronous AC motor.
^ 5/8" solid aluminum top plate for improved bass response.
^ Massive construction, over 50 lbs.
^ Electronic circuit based on a high output audio amplifier with built-in high precision 32 bit
MICON signal generator.
^ LED stroboscope for more accurate speed adjustment & confirmation.
The LED light on the LHS of the platter is detachable. No more fumbling in the dark trying to locate track # 2. The lamp is a soft orange and is very effective at showing where the tracks are located.
Right in front of the platter is the strobescope window - speed adjustment is on the RHS of the stroboscope window. When you look into the window, you are actually looking at a mirror, which shows you the numbers 33 or 45 printed underneath the platter. on the outer diameter. When the speed is correct the numbers are static. Simple but extremely effective.
Detachable 4mm acrylic dust cover is on hinges, but for best sound quality, we recommend removing the dust cover completely during playback.
The aluminum top plate is 15mm thick (almost 5/8"). Both the tonearm cable & AC power cord are detachable, allowing an easy path to upgrade.
Forming the vital part of an analogue playback system the PD-171 employs a high output oscillator circuitry coupled to a high precision, high torque synchronous AC motor that drives a high inertia platter via a synthetic belt for stable rotation.
The precision machined spindle rests on a Teflon bearing of large diameter to ensure frictionless rotation. The solid aluminum platter is recessed into the top plate to lower the center of gravity. Handles are provided to remove the platter, if it ever needs to be shipped.
The detachable headshell, allows one to swap cartridges and simply dial in the new tracking weight. Stereo & Mono cartridges of the same model / manufacturer can of course be swapped out in a minute or two. An optional heavier counterweight is available for use with the Ortofon SPU cartridge / headshell.
High quality, oxygen free Luxman phono DIN to RCA cable, is supplied with a strain relief under the plinth. It is however detachable, in case you prefer to use another brand of phono cable.

Not only does this rigidity improve speed stability, it also allows the retrievel of low level information challenging the world's great turntables and master tapes. Absolutely solid, non-resonating laminated one-piece chassis holding all comonents.
Tonearm anti-skate - For those that require the fine adjustment of anti-skate, it is standard on the Classic 2 tonearm.

Need help choosing the right turntable for you? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.
The Aries 3 is the perfect choice for those who want near HR-X performance in a smaller size.
The 1.75"-thick platter is comprised of non-resonant acrylic and incorporates an inverted bearing similar to that used in the HR-X. The bearing shaft is 60 Rockwell hardness, ground and polished, and the platter rotates on a Teflon/Delrin composit thrust plate for ultra low noise. The solid stainless steel motor assembly is almost 15 pounds and contains a smooth 300-RPM synchronous motor with Delrin motor pulley. This is a very low noise system with the fundamental resonance of the motor at 5 Hertz which is well below the frequency a cartridge can reproduce. The Aries 3 chassis is made from a sandwich of 2 layers of 5/8” polished black acrylic top and bottom with a 5/8” thick aluminum center section, exactly like the HR-X chassis design which provides stability and damping.
This system creates an inert, quiet, and stable platform for the platter and tonearm to sit on. The plinth is supported by four black Delrin feet, the bottoms of which are composed of hardened steel balls. The suspension when applied to the laminated HR-X type chassis provides outstanding rigidity and a wealth of information from the record grooves. They are adjustable for leveling. The Aries 3 circular armboard is a 4” in diameter, 1" thick black acrylic that mates sonically with the HR-X style laminated chassis.
**At an additional cost of $800.00 the 30 pound HR-X super platter is now available for the Aries providing the ultimate in power and low noise.
**The Aries 3 is available with or without a VPI tonearm. For best sound VPI recommends the Aries 3 with JMW-10.5i tonearm for a truly musical system.
The Aries 3 can be taken to the next level by adding VPI’s Synchronous Drive System, periphery ring, and HR-X center weight at an additional cost.

The new JMW-10.5i tonearm:The newest arm from VPI is a big upgrade! Nordost Valhalla Wiring, VPI’s new Anti-Skate technology and a heavier, better damped armtube are all part of the picture. A new base and dog leg were designed to incorporate the full sized azimuth rings of the other JMW Signature Tonearms, resulting in a lower center of gravity, greater stability and lower distortion.
The Aries 3 can be taken to the next level by adding VPI’s Synchronous Drive System, periphery ring, and HR-X center weight at an additional cost.

The HR-X is known to reviewers and manufacturers around the world for it's natural reproduction of scale and sweep, which are two of the things that make us feel like we are listening to live music. With world class detail, low noise, pace, and timing, the HR-X will bring the concert hall into your home. Best of all, it does this without fiddling, tweaking, or constant resetting.
The HR-X features a triple laminated chassis (Acrylic-Aluminum-Acrylic) and integral air suspension which rejects up to 98% of acoustic feedback. The HR-X uses an inverted main bearing incorporating a chrome polished hardened steel ball running on a Teflon/Delrin composite for ultra low noise without any vertical motion caused by magnetic or air suspension resonances. A periphery record clamp ring is centered by the platter, not the record, providing vacuum-like hold down without the problems inherent in a vacuum system.
The drive system uses two low-powered 24-pole motors driving a 12-pound flywheel. The flywheel spins at 300 RPM and has 62 times the inertia of a 25 pound platter. The drive system and the periphery clamp result in wow, flutter, and rumble that are all below measurability providing world class sound. The JMW 12.7 tonearm is bolted to the aluminum portion of the chassis with a double base mounting, providing the ultimate in rigidity and adjustability. The SDS power supply rounds out the package and provides a pure AC signal to the drive system.
The HR-X, includes the JMW 12.7 tonearm with propietary VPI silver over copper wire, periphery ring clamp, center record weight, dual motor flywheel, air ball suspension, clear acrylic platter with inverted bearing, and SDS power supply. When teamed up with the RIM DRIVE system the HR-X becomes one of a handful of turntables able to raise the hairs on the back of a listeners neck while enjoying the sculptured beauty of its design.

Scout 2 - JMW-9T Tonearm
|
Need help choosing the right turntable for you? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.
The Scout 2 features a 1 7/8" thick aluminum platter (with a stainless steel damping plate) in place of the Scout's 1 3/8" acrylic platter.
The result of mating a great platter to a simple good looking design! In only seven years, the VPI Scout has become the industry standard as the best-reviewed turntable on the planet! For 2009, we saw fit to bring some big improvements to its best-selling turntable. You may recognize the outboard motor and the plinth, but you will do a double take at the exquisite platter and tonearm.
Every VPI Scout II comes standard with the JMW 9T! This incredible tonearm features a redesigned armtube that is tapered and filled with a proprietary damping material. This revolutionary design greatly reduces internal resonance, yielding a full and rich sound, with a vast soundstage and increased resolution and detail. The added mass also produces deeper bass response and fantastic compatibility with moving coil cartridges.
For maximum stability and speed accuracy the platter is made from 1 7/8" thick machined 6061 aluminum and is attached to a nonmagnetic 303 stainless steel damping plate. The entire piece weighs in at an impressive 18 pounds! Because the aluminum is grounded to the steel, there is virtually no static buildup or sonic degradation. What's in the grooves is what comes out of your speakers.
The VPI Scout II's plinth is made from 1 1/8" thick MDF bonded to a 12 gauge steel plate giving a rigid, non-resonant plinth. The massive platter sits on chrome-hardened ball bearing held by a 60 Rockwell-hardened shaft, below which is a black delrin nut.
The VPI Scout II generates absolutely no additional noise for a pristinely quiet spin. The AC synchronous motor is contained in a separate steel housing and drives the platter via an Aries belt. This combination produces quiet yet stable running with extremely accurate speed. Speeds are 33 and 45 standard, while 78 is optional.

This is the ideal turntable for music lovers who want to really dial in the proper Stylus Rake Angle for different thickness records and even different cutting stylus angles in the same companies series of records.
There is no doubt, and especially after long listening tests, the records made in the late 50's and the 70's were cut differently, with different thicknesses of vinyl. For those who want to extract every last drop of information from those amazing grooves and to get the noise level as low as possible correct SRA is required.
With the Classic 2 you can adjust the SRA/VTA while you are listening, reference the numbers on the record jacket, and the next time you play that favorite record you can dial in your setting exactly. This is serious stuff and really makes for amazing retrievel of low level information. However, the Classic 3 did not have enough space to professional place 2 arms on the table. Therefore, VPI took the design of the Classic 3, made it a little larger, and added an HR-X 12.7 arm as the primary and the Classic 3 arm as the secondary arm for the debuting Classic 4!
VPI Classic Turntable Features:
A large knurled VTA tower with a smooth precise feel makes it easy to set VTA during play.
A secondary mounting with underbase has been placed between the arm rest and the arm lift to greatly improve the arm's rigidity literally making these the only arms that can do VTA adjustments while listening and then be locked as rigid as a solid mounted arm.
