About White Zombie Bundle (Discontinued) by White Zombie:
White Zombie Bundle - La Sexorcisto, Astro Creep, and War Zone in one bundle!
La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume 1:
La Sexorcisto: Devil Music Volume 1 was both a critical and commercial success for White Zombie, climbing up the charts in the US and gaining massive MTV video airplay and mainstream rock radio airplay with "Thunder Kiss ‘65" and "Black Sunshine." The album's sound is a mix of groove metal and funk metal with lots of B-movie samples. Tactless and continuously shocking, lyricist Rob Zombie reveals blatant tales of muscle cars, sleazy encounters, and Fangoria-mustered fantasy, clearly paying homage to vintage trash culture. Rob Zombie explained he "wanted to keep a groovable dance element in the music", a trait which is often absent in metal music. Weak appetites for raunchy, tongue-in-cheek decadence need not apply!
Astro-Creep: 2000:
Metalheads who thought W.A.S.P. and Mötley Crüe were just choir boys and who were looking for more vile and boisterous music were well served when White Zombie released their albums in the mid- to late ‘90s. The ingredients? White-trash-on-acid metal, growled vocals and B-horror movie visuals.
After releasing the successful album ‘La Sexorcisto’ in 1992 Rob Zombie and his band’s opinion was that it all could be a bit more rough. And so it happened...
Follow-up album ‘Astro-Creep 2000’ from 1995 is much heavier than its predecessor, with a more industrial metal style and a darker sound as it deals with twisted poetry about murder, the undead, blasphemy and satanic elements.
‘La Sexorcisto’ is a must have for all the metal and thrash fans, ‘Astro-Creep 2000’, but ‘Astro-Creep 2000’ is its number one contender!
War Zone:
War Zone was written especially for and inspired by the film Punisher War Zone. This unique one-off single is only available in one physical format, the colored vinyl 7 single from Music On Vinyl.
The track oozes with the throttling energy that has made Rob Zombie a platinum selling-artist. About his contribution to the movie, Rob Zombie said: I love writing music for films rather than just throwing them an unwanted B side or remix. This track was written exclusively for 'Punisher - War Zone.' A punishing track for a punishing movie.
