I'm Not There (Bob Dylan)Import
I'm Not There is a meta-biographical film re-imaging the life of Bob Dylan as portrayed by six different actors - Marcus Carl Franklin, Ben Whishaw, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, Richard Gere, and Cate Blanchett - in six different phases of the artists life and career.
The 4LP I'm Not There set features songs from and inspired by this film. The new interpretations of Bob Dylan songs are performed by an eclectic cavalcade of acclaimed and celebrated contemporary musicians including Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Sonic Youth, Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Jack Johnson, Sufjan Stevens, Mark Lanegan and many others!
Many of the album's performances include backing from The Million Dollar Bashers, an ensemble created especially for 'Im Not There' by Sonic Youth guitarist Lee Ranaldo, featuring Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley, Television guitarist Tom Verlaine, Wilco bassist Nels Cline, guitarist Smokey Hormel, keyboardist John Medeski and long-time Bob Dylan band bassist Tony Garnier. Other tracks on the album feature the alternative-country band Calexico backing up artists.
I'm Not There includes two versions of the enigmatic title track, a new interpretation performed by Sonic Youth and the original Bob Dylan recording, a rare often-bootlegged outtake from "The Basement Tapes" sessions which has been unavailable on any official release for a long time.LP1

Another WorldAntony & The Johnsons emerged on the international stage in 2005 with their breakthrough "I Am A Bird Now" (over 700,000 RTD worldwide). His first new material since 2006 is a prelude to the new full-length, "The Crying Light", coming in January 2009. Of the project, Antony said, "I wanted to mark this moment very clearly in my life. I love and feel so anchored by the natural world, which gave birth to me, which supplies and supports my life, this experience of color and light and aching beauty. But the world is changing so fast now. 'Another World' is a song for the present but also a song for the future. What have I lost? And what is to come?"1.Another World

Cut The WorldAntony and the Johnsons’ Cut The World is a collection of live symphonic performances of songs from the band's four full length albums (Antony And The Johnsons, I Am A Bird Now, Swanlights, The Crying Light).
Recorded in Copenhagen, DK with The Danish National Chamber Orchestra, Cut The World features arrangements by Nico Muhly, Rob Moose, Maxim Moston and Antony.
Additionally, the title track "Cut The World" is featured here for the first time. It is one of Antony's new songs for The Life and Death of Marina Abramović, directed by Robert Wilson and staring Antony, Marina Abramović and Willem Dafoe.
Cut The World was recorded live on September 2nd and 3rd, 2011 at the DK Concert Hall in Copenhagen, DK and represents Antony's continued meditation on light, nature and femininity. Antony discusses his ideas on the track "Future Feminism," a speech he made during one of the concerts. Addressing the affects of patriarchy on the global ecology, Antony explores the possibility of shifting towards feminine systems of governance in a gesture to restore our world.1. Cut The World

I Am A Bird NowThis second full-length features contributions from both Antony's peers (Rufus Wainwright, Devendra Banhart) and heroes (Lou Reed, Boy George). Their involvement reflects both their admiration for Antony and his unique place in the contemporary arts community. Reed asked Antony to perform as part of the small ensemble on Reed's American and European tours, and he gave Antony a solo turn on the Velvet Underground classic Candy Says, an homage to another one of Antony's inspirations, Andy Warhol. In fact, the image adorning the cover of this album is Peter Hujar's striking 1974 photo, Candy Darling On Her Deathbed. Like some unsettling ghost relative of Jeff Buckley and Billie Holiday singing for all the fallen, this is tough, honest, uncompromising beauty and the next great voice in music - Mojo. If a great voice is often said to be an instrument, Antony's is a near orchestra, carrying extremes of emotion, great waves of suffering, tragedy, redemption, and joy - Metro. SwanlightsSwanlights is the new album from Antony and the Johnsons, set to release in North America via Secretly Canadian. While I Am a Bird Now was arresting in its simplicity and vision and The Crying Light is a masterpiece of austerity, Swanlights may be Antonys most wide-ranging emotional work to date.
It is a record that is at moments excruciating and tender, and at other times has a wicked gleam to its teeth. Musically its the most maximal of his work to date. Whereas on The Crying Light, Antony paired everything back to its most distilled and essential, on Swanlights the vines have become overgrown and the sound palette has become more exotic, strange percussive elements, John Cale-esque string drones, heavily distorted guitars and symphonic voicings thread the song cycle together.
Swanlights is the fourth Antony and the Johnsons album and the follow up to the critically acclaimed smash The Crying Light which topped year-end best of lists across the globe in 2009. Antony burst into the international spotlight with his second album, I Am a Bird Now, which won the UKs prestigious Mercury Music Prize.1. Everything Is New

The Crying LightThe follow-up to I Am A Bird Now shifts thematic focus and explores Antony's relationship with the natural world.
