Willie Nelson has long been honored as a genuine legend, and his songs and concerts are loved worldwide. Though his roots are in country, Willie’s musical influences are as broad as the Texas skies, unlimited to any one genre.
“These are my favorite songs. My favorite all-time songs,” Willie says. “I knew there were millions of people who liked these songs and would love to hear them again. I grew up with them... they’re some of the first songs I learned to play.” We bring you this distinctive reissue housed in a heavyweight tip-on, old style gatefold jacket from Stoughton Printing. Unmatched quality, unmatched sound — that’s the way Analogue Productions rolls.
Willie ultimately scored big-time with this quintessential addition to his album catalog. The songs — “Moonlight in Vermont,” “All of Me,” “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore” — are lovingly arranged here by Booker T. Jones of Green Onions fame and recorded in Nelson’s inimitable style in Emmylou Harris’ house.
Booker T’s trademark sound set the mood for the sessions. Willie and cohorts mine a mellow groove here, sounding as if Willie is at home, sitting on his porch overlooking the beautiful Texas hill country.
Nelson’s Stardust remains a genius-level creation as well as the icon’s most commercially successful release, a truly gorgeous record infused with ultimate respect for composers and lyrics and many of the finest performances of Willie’s career.

Mastered By Ryan K. Smith At Sterling Sound From The Original 3-Track Analog Tapes
200-Gram LPs Cut At 45 RPM, Plating By Gary Salstrom, Pressing At Quality Record Pressings
45 RPM Custom Designed Slipcase Box
Described by reviewers as “the quintessential Belafonte package,” Belafonte at Carnegie Hall captures the excitement of a Harry Belafonte concert at the height of his popularity. What Analogue Productions has done with this 5LP box set release exceeds other vinyl versions.
We’ve included the entire concert. The fifth disc in this premium set includes tracks heretofore missing from prior editions due to space limitations. They include Belafonte’s spoken introduction before launching into the touching and tender “Scarlet Ribbons,” followed by the orchestral overture.
What AllMusic.com describes as “The grandaddy of all live albums,” was an anomaly at a time when only comedy albums were recorded outside of the studio environment. A major financial and artistic success, the live performance stayed on the best-selling album charts for over three years and remained in print until RCA discontinued pressing LPs.
The concert is divided into three sections: “Moods of the American Negro,” “In The Caribbean,” and “Round The World.” All the hits are here: “Day O,” “Jamaica Farewell,” “Mama Look a Boo Boo,” and others, plus calypso, folk songs, chain gang songs, spirituals, and songs from other lands, representing a veritable best-of package of Belafonte’s first decade with RCA Victor.
Wait no more if you haven’t heard this marvelous record. We’ve gone all out for this deluxe reissue. Starting with premier mastering by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound from the original analog tapes. Then plating and pressing by Gary Salstrom and the crew at Quality Record Pressings, where the finest quality LPs in the world are pressed. But it doesn’t stop there: We’ve enhanced the original studio photography and housed the collection in a custom-designed slipcase box.
Belafonte’s mastery in front of an audience was never better displayed then here, a mastery that resulted in him becoming one of the most popular concert draws in history. From the opening trumpet fanfare to the epic 12-minute version of “Matilda” (which set a standard for audience participation), the album never lets up!

Old-Style Tip-On Heavyweight Gatefold Jacket By Stoughton Printing
“Crying” No. 69 On Rolling Stone’s List Of 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time
The second Roy Orbison issued by the Monument label, Crying was originally released in 1962 and became Orbison’s chart breakthrough, reaching No. 21 on the Billboard chart and No. 17 in the U.K. The album name comes from the 1961 hit song of the same name that in 2002 was honored with a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.
By 1962, Roy Orbison had established himself as one the leading lights out of Nashville. Still, it wasn’t until he met songwriting partner Joe Melson that things began to fall into place for Roy. He moved to Monument Records in 1960 — the focus in the studio was centered around exploiting the quality and range of his voice. Soon Orbison and Melson penned the hits “Only The Lonely” and “Running Scared.” Orbison had arrived.
The focus on this Analogue Productions reissue of Crying was extracting the absolute highest-quality sound from the original analog tape. Mastered by Bernie Grundman at 45 RPM, the four sides of dead-silent 200-gram vinyl pressed at Quality Record Pressings provide reduced distortion and High-frequency loss as the wider-spaced grooves let your stereo cartridge track more accurately. The heavyweight gatefold tip-on jacket from Stoughton Printing cradles the LPs in style.
The Orbison-Melson penned title track zoomed to No. 2 on the Billboard charts. “Crying” is a slow-burning lament, allowing Roy’s voice to come shining through, accompanied by strings, soulful vocals, and a dynamically great vocal hook. Hear the Analogue Productions difference how great this familiar tune and its album namesake can sound.

"...The high-quality original mix plus Analogue Productions' superb mastering has resulted in a terrific, very transparent sonic with great impact." - John Henry, Audiophile Audition

A longtime audiophile demonstration disc. Hope will show off your system's dynamic range as well as any record ever released. Hugh Masekela, the outstanding South African trumpeter, assembled a seven-piece group and recorded this great set live at Washington, D.C.'s Blues Alley. The songs stretch over a period of nearly five decades and serve as an informal guided tour of Masekela's life. The songs are honest and bare, and as for the sound — WOW!
