The Hurry And The Harm (Awaiting Repress)City and Colour have announced details of their long-awaited new album, The Hurry And The Harm, which is set to be released on June 4th.
Today is album announce day and i finally get to share all the fun stuff.
I am excited to introduce all of you to my upcoming album - The Hurry and The Harm.
The support you all showed, for the first song I shared two weeks ago, "of space and time", was overwhelming. Thank you!!! it means the world to me.
I had an amazing time recording The Hurry and The Harm in Nashville this winter. Alex Newport joined me as producer again and I couldn't be prouder of the talented group of guys that joined me. Jack Lawrence played bass (and has since joined me on the road), Matt Chamberlain and James Gadson took turns on drums, Bo Koster worked the keys, Spencer Cullum Jr added pedal steel and both Anthony Lamarchina & Karen Winkelmann contributed to the string arrangement.
I never thought I'd want a picture of myself on the cover of a record, but here we are. I sent Dustin Rabin one of my favorite lyrics on the record and the album artwork was born: "I've always been dark, with light somewhere in the distance"
Over the next few weeks more info will continue to follow. For now, I'm very excited to share this with everyone and grateful for all the years we've shared that led to this record."1. The Hurry and The Harm

Twin Forks (Awaiting Repress)Twin Forks are Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional) Suzie Zeldin (The Narrative), Ben Homola (Bad Books), and Jonathan Clark. The band new band was formed to play a one off festival, but worked so well that they decided to keep playing together. They put together an EP that they gave away digitally to fans, and released a proper EP in September 2013. They have been touring the world since the formation of the band, and are working towards the release of their first full length record in 2014.
“I use my gut, and my gut don’t lie to me” is more than just a lyric in Twin Forks’ exuberant “Something We Just Know,” it is a kind of mission statement for the quartet. If you’ve ever been to a musical performance that made you lose all sense of time and place and give in to the cathartic feeling of clapping and dancing and singing along, you’ve already visited the sweet spot where Twin Forks have made it their mission to reside. “Whatever makes the audience stomp their feet and sing at the top of their lungs, that’s what I want to be doing,” says singer/guitarist Chris Carrabba. “I want to be generating that spirit from the stage. And there’s gotta be a way to do that whether the audience knows the songs yet or not.” Carrabba, mandolin player Suzie Zeldin, bassist Jonathan Clark and drummer Ben Homola are already well on their way, rousing crowds with their electrifying chemistry and anthemic folkrock.1.
