Chief (Awaiting Repress)Eric Church is on a mission. You might expect someone coming off of their first two Top Ten country singles and an ACM Award for 'Top New Solo Vocalist' to lock down the formula and go for more of the same, but with third album, Chief, Church is trying something bolder and using the opportunity provided by his success to push his music even further. The lead single Homeboy is perhaps the bravest track on Chief. It is a provocative appeal from one brother to another to get back on track and make peace with his family.
I have a theory that all of us only get a small window of time to make records when people will really listen and care, he says. Its up to us to move the needle. People like Waylon and Cash or Garth and Strait, they all changed the direction of the music a little bit.
The desire to capture the intensity of his live show on record is indicated right in the title of the new album. Chief was my grandfathers nickname, and it has become my nickname on the road, Church reveals. When its show time, I put on the sunglasses and the hat, and thats how people know its game time. This album was made from a live place; we recorded it with the live show in mind, so it just seemed right to make that the title.
If there is one thing country music needs more of, its the attitude that is driving Eric Church, the approach behind every song on Chief, the fearlessness that lets an artist swing for the fences and try to leave a mark on history. There were safer choices I could have made for sure, but I just cant feel that helps anybody, he says. If you have any respect for the music, youll use each chance you get to try to be one of the ones who moves the flag.1. Creepin'

Revolver (Awaiting Repress)
Ranked 3/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time!
Sourced From the Original Master Tapes!
Pressed on 180 gram vinyl
Cut at Abbey Road Studios
Their first psychedelic masterpiece, Revolver, represents The Beatles at their most creative and cohesive form, still a tight rocking unit firing on all cylinders but with a surging freedom of self-expression. It is arguably their greatest album, in which they introduce whole new vistas of sound yet still contain them within tightly structured and performed songs.
Recorded before The Beatles’ personalities began to clash and in advance of the fog brought on by drug use, Revolver encompasses practically every imaginable style and then some. Gentle harmonic pop “I Want to Tell You,” stained-glass acid rock “She Said She Said,” upbeat soul “Got to Get You Into My Life,” Indian “Love You To,” and what, at the time (and in some ways still is,) the most cutting-edge pop composition ever devised, “Tomorrow Never Knows,” -- a song that single-handedly re-imagined and rewrote the rules of production.
Before the woolly politics of flower power had really taken over psychedelia, Revolver remains sharp and acerbic, its cutting quality emphasized by great electric guitar-playing from both George and John. The band looked fantastic too, in hipster suits and dark glasses. Pound for pound and song for song, Revolver is as good as it gets, a real monster.
A team consisting of some of the best producers and engineers in the recording industry were brought together and would spend 4 long years mixing and mastering with some of the most state of the art recording equipment. Treating these records much like a science experiment, engineers ran extensive tests before copying the analog master tapes over into a digital format using 24-bit/192 kHz resolution, and carefully removing clicks, vocal pops and poor edits. Never altering the original songs themselves, just polishing them up a bit.1. Taxman

Arab Strap (Pre-Order)Reflecting on a 10-year career that was as influential as it was controversial, Arab Strap’s self-titled compilation highlights an extraordinary output that staunchly refused to conform to expectation. From the string-led sashay of ""Shy Retirer"" to the piano-driven noir of ""Love Detective""; the lo-fi crunch of ""The Clearing"" to the spartan electronica of ""Rocket, Take Your Turn,"" Arab Strap were a fearless and resolutely original proposition from the minute Aidan regaled us with tales of their ""First Big Weekend"" back in 1996.
Here’s Aidan on the tracklisting for Arab Strap:
""We chose 20 songs – one for each year since we started – and decided to split them into two lots of 10. The first disc's a kind of best-of, but we just stuck to the more electronic stuff for this – there's so many different sounds going on in Arab Strap albums, so we wanted to make it a more coherent whole.
The second disc's filled with rarities from EPs and b-sides and outtakes and stuff, so there's some louder rock stuff on there. I think all of these songs could've been on the albums they were recorded for, but sometimes you're trying to tell a story and they just don't fit. This disc is more live drums and rock-y too, so anyone looking for the noise should hopefully be satisfied.""LP 1

Dark Side Of The Moon (Awaiting Repress)Ranked 43/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Remastered From The Original Analogue Tapes By James Guthrie, Joel Plante, And Bernie Grundman
Pink Floyd's most successful and singularly defining album is here to stay. The Dark Side of the Moon has sold over 40 million copies worldwide since its release in 1973, and it shows no signs of letting up. With lush, immaculate production and sweeping instrumentals, The Dark Side of the Moon is unrivaled in sonic brilliance. The complex textures found within have captivated audiophiles for over thirty years.
With lyrics about seemingly mundane details set against dreamy, atmospheric backdrops, the songs on The Dark Side of the Moon achieve a truly emotional response. Performances are not virtuosic, but they are brilliant nonetheless and were likewise brilliantly recorded. Abbey Road Studios engineer Alan Parsons and Pink Floyd made use of some of the most advanced techniques available at the time to craft a sound that was innovative yet entirely classic, by any sense of the word. Swirling organs, mellow drums, and spacious guitars are signature sounds that have been inextricably linked with Pink Floyd's magnificent songwriting.
The Dark Side of the Moon is a peerless entry in the annals of classic rock history. No record collection should be without this multi-platinum masterpiece.1. Speak to Me
