Shed (Awaiting Repress)Originally formed in 2003 by guitarist/vocalist Jamie Rhoden and the twin brother duo of vocalist/bassist Ned Russin and drummer Ben Russin when the trio were barely teenagers, Title Fight started as a way for these young kids to explore their burgeoning love of hardcore. But after adding guitarist Shane Moran in 2005, something funny happened; their tireless practicing eventually transformed them into one of the most exciting hardcore acts in recent memory.
After releasing a handful of EPs and 7"s as well as performing shows all over the world, Title Fight began attracting attention from fans and labels who were captivated by the way the band managed to put a modern spin on the melodic hardcore sound pioneered by acts like Gorilla Biscuits and Lifetime and in 2010 the members of Title Fight dropped out of college in order to tour full-time with acts such as New Found Glory, Four Year Strong and H20. It was also around this time that the band entered the studio with Gorilla Biscuits/Quicksand guitarist Walter Schreifels who agreed to produce the band and promptly drove down to Northeastern Pennsylvania to help them prepare to record their highly anticipated full-length debut Shed.
From there the band headed to Philadelphia to record Shed over a grueling two-week period at the legendary Studio 4. However all those long nights paid off as Shed sees the band implementing various subgenres that range from old-school hardcore to aggressive punk rock that make these twelve energetic anthems instant classics for a new generation of listeners searching for music that inspires them as much as Title Fight were inspired by their heroes.
Weve been a band for seven years and this is the first time weve had a recording thats longer than seven minutes long, says Ned Russin. The last year has been a crazy ride but the whole time weve always stayed true to the fact that were not trying to be anything were not, he summarizes. Were four friends that play in a band together and we would still be doing this whether we were playing to five people or five hundred of them.1. Coxton Yard

Live At The Troubadour (Awaiting Repress)Includes DVD With Over An Hour Of Live And Behind The Scenes Footage
On September 14, 2011, The Horrible Crowes took the stage of the legendary Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA for an amazing hour-long plus set. It was only the band’s second show, and attendees were able to experience Elsie in an authentic, natural setting.
"I think this was one of the highlights of my career," Brian Fallon recalls. "Everyone was in great spirits, we were comfortable, and we were playing music that excited us beyond what we thought we were capable of. I remember, on this night, I felt like someone else was playing for us. I love this band, as a fan."
Both Fallon and guitarist Ian Perkins remember that night fondly. "I will always look back at this show with the fondest of memories. Sometimes you can walk into a venue and the atmosphere is already there, The Troubadour is one of those places. We were all excited to play such a legendary venue and you only have to read the names on the walls inside to see why.”
The hi-definition DVD features twelve live tracks from that night, as well as candid pre-show interviews with Brian Fallon and Ian Perkins, sound check footage and the music videos for "Behold The Hurricane" and "Lady Killer.1. Last Rites

PUP (Awaiting Repress)If you haven’t heard of Toronto punk-band PUP; that will probably soon change.
The band, who changed their name from Topanga to PUP back in April, have been labeled as a band to watch by both The Grid and NOW Magazine.
In their debut, self-titled album, the band combines a throwback, classic punk sound with a modern indie sound, comparable to that of fellow Canadian rockers Hollerado.
Their raw, catchy guitar hooks coupled with in-your-face vocals are refreshing to listen to in a world of modern music where these things are tragically uncommon.
Songs like "Guilt Trip", "Reservoir" and "Lionheart" are particular highlights of the album.
The lyrics are relatable, dealing with coming-of-age topics that everyone can identify with on some level. In an interview for CBC, the band says their lyrics come from “frustration and anxiety and trying to get your shit together.”
With this debut album under their belts, it would be fair to say PUP is well on their way.

We Cool? (Awaiting Repress)"In true Jeff Rosenstock fashion, singer/songwriter/all around great guy Jeff Rosenstock shocked the globe today as he finally unleashed details surrounding his highly anticipated new solo album, We Cool?. The LP comes out through SideOneDummy Record...
We Cool? serves as a much-needed alternative to the over-bloated rock star faux-indie bullshit that seems to be overwhelming today’s music scene. Mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley (Tony Molina, Joyce Manor, Deafheaven), this album is a welcome change from Jeff’s standard method of making a record.
“The difference between recording in an apartment with a small amount of cheap gear that is constantly breaking vs. an actual studio with cool things to use and a really talented person running everything is immeasurable,” Jeff explains."
