    Give Till It's Gone

Give Till It's Gone is the 10th studio album from Ben Harper. Harper recorded most of Give Till It's Gone, his first solo full-length since 2006's Both Sides of the Gun, at the Los Angeles studio of Jackson Browne, who harmonizes with him on the wistful Pray That Our Love Sees The Dawn. On Rock 'n' Roll Is Free, the album's first single, Harper pays tribute to an audacious art form that continually challenges the status quo, demanding that we look at the world in a brand new way. The album also features two tracks co-written with Ringo Starr, the exuberant, psychedelic-tinged Spilling Faith and Get There From Here, an improvisational instrumental.

With Give Till It's Gone, Harper examines the disparity between the man he is today and the man he endeavors to become. Reaching deep within, he discovers there are no easy answers, but implores us to go the distance with him on this journey in the moving album opener, Don't Give Up On Me Now. While its songs are highly personal, Give Till It's Gone illuminates the universal struggle to find meaning and to fully engage with life and one another. We may pass through a dark night of the soul, but giving up is not a viable option, as Harper reminds us with certainty in the transcendent I Will Not Be Broken.

    Ghost Blonde

Splitting time between Montreal and Los Angeles, female-fronted noise pop group No Joy are poised to release their debut album, Ghost Blonde. The album fully delivers on the promise of their Mexican Summer 7 release, and it builds upon the revitalization of shoegaze pop in recent times with a melodic fervor and angst that many of their contemporaries fail to capitalize on. The gorgeous sounding Ghost Blonde even contains moments that match the challenges laid down by My Bloody Valentine and Lush years ago.

Young People's Church Of The Air

Washington DC stalwarts Deleted Scenes released their debut album Birdseed Shirt to Pitchfork's rave reviews, calling it ferocious, brave, and a well-balanced demonstration of both thoughtful existentialism and strange, drowsy downers (Pitchfork, 8.0). Deleted Scenes' sophomore album Young People's Church of the Air, which will be released by Park The Van Records this summer, pushes the band's formidable rhythm section further, exploring the possibility of hope.

This is the first-ever solo album from Chrissie Hynde, the founder and singer for The Pretenders. Stockholm is a suitably impressive addition to a Rock &
Roll Hall of Famer's staggering legacy, a fresh debut. "It's the first album with my name on it," Chrissie says. "But it's not a solo album. In fact, making this
album was more of collaboration than any Pretenders album ever was."

    Break Line: The Musical

    Limited To 2000

On a front porch in Philadelphia in early 2004, Anand Wilder and Maxwell Kardon sat with a guitar and a
banjo and busily finger picked to keep their hands from freezing. After a few false starts they settled on a dirge
in d-minor and began improvising lyrics about a labor conflict in a Western Pennsylvania coal town that their
fathers had learned about from an old folk song taught in Quaker schools in the '50s.

The facts, as communicated, were a half-remembered pastiche of de facto segregation, frayed family ties, and
double-dealing.The principal heroes and villains of the story were lost to history and buried in mine shafts and
unmarked graves, and the particulars of the outcome were primarily recorded on newspapers lost in
warehouse fires and floods. Nevertheless, the tragedy struck both as an ideal thread to weave through a series
of stories they had been telling each other about a town full of unlucky, love lorn people. Inspired by the classic
rock operas of the 1970's and the golden age of musical theater, they began work on their own

Wilder and Kardon spent the next several years traveling, each writing and tinkering with songs about their
town and sending each other hastily recorded demos and fragments of lyrics. The story of Greenbelt grew and
the cast of characters, from robber barons to union men, migrant farmers to crooked ministers, became
fleshed out. They enlisted friends from myriad bands: Austin Fisher (Suckers), Haley Dekle (the Dirty
Projectors), Ira Wolf Tuton and Christopher Keating (Yeasayer), Ryan Kattner (Man Man), Britt Myers
(Chairlift), and Aku Orraca-Tetteh (Dragons of Zynth) to sing the parts of the town's luckless citizens.

In 2008, they put together a core band featuring Ira on bass and Christopher Powell of Man Man on drums
and began arranging the songs of Break Line for a full ensemble. With the help of recording wunderkind Britt
Myers (Chairlift, Yeasayer, Passing Strange) they finally began putting the music down onto tape, staying up
late experimenting with sounds and arrangements.

In the years that followed, the two found moments whenever they could to complete the project. Neither can
believe that what started with just the two of them huddled on a cold porch would grow to involve a once-in-a-lifetime cast of collaborators. A decade after its conception, they are proud to present to the public their
vision of a classic story of betrayal, pride and lost love.

    Welcome to Greenbelt.

    Sound & Color

    2xLP On Clear Vinyl

Alabama Shakes announced that they will be releasing the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2012 Grammy-nominated debut. The new album is titled Sound & Color.

"We took our time to write this record, and I'm really glad we did," says Brittany Howard, lead singer and guitarist of Alabama Shakes, about the band's new album Sound & Color. "We were able to sit down and think about what's exciting to us, explore all the things we wanted to on our first album. This record is full of genre-bending songs-it's even harder now when people ask, 'What kind of band are you?' I have no clue."

The album's twelve songs reveal a band honed by years on the road, and drawing from a wide range of influences. The bluesy groove of "Shoegaze" or the garage-rock freak-out on "The Greatest" give way to the psychedelic space jam "Gemini." The gently swaying, chiming title song opens the album with what Howard calls "more of a visual thing, I think of this whole scene going on," then explodes into the urgent, tightly-coiled funk of "Don't Wanna Fight." Long instrumental intros and passages create hazy atmosphere, and then the intensity of Howard's vocals snaps everything back into riveting focus.

The Last Command (Out Of Stock)

Heavyweight Magenta Colored Vinyl Pressing From Snapper Music!

W.A.S.P. 's second full-length release, The Last Command, showed that leader/principal songwriter Blackie Lawless was attempting to write better songs. While some of the tracks still contain the gross-out element that made the band's debut a success, Lawless wanted the public to start taking his band more seriously, and not focus so much on W.A.S.P. 's stage antics. Though The Last Command is not as challenging as such future albums as The Headless Children and The Crimson Idol would be, 1985's The Last Command contained several tracks that would become concert staples for years to come.

Fear Of A Blank Planet (Out Of Stock)

Pressed On 180 Gram Blue Vinyl

    Packaged In A Gatefold Sleeve

Originally released in 2007, 'Fear Of A Blank Planet' was Porcupine Tree's ninth studio album. It was the band's biggest selling album at the time, was their first album to break into the Billboard top 100 in the USA as well as charting across Europe, earned the band a Grammy nomination and has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine's Greatest Prog Albums Of All Time.

'Fear Of A Blank Planet' was an ambitious 50 minute piece of music made of 6 tracks that flow together to create a cohesive whole, the British art-rockers Porcupine Tree created a concept album based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel Lunar Park, with lyrics that addressed how the adolescent protagonist battled his bipolar and attention-deficit disorders with a regimen of prescription drugs and Internet overstimulation.

The music used sprawling vocal melodies, atmospheric guitars and drums that tumbled through chaotic passages to echo the main character's manic-depressive states.

'Fear Of A Blank Planet' features guest appearances from Robert Fripp (King Crimson) , Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and ex-Japan keyboardist Richard Barbieri.

In 2016 Kscope will re-release the 2012 Steven Wilson remastered edition of the album as a gatefold double heavyweight 180g LP on blue vinyl.
