After a very successful 2016 touring worldwide, selling out headlining shows, garnering millions of views for their music videos "Dangerous" and "In Chains," charting multiple times on Billboard's mainstream rock chart, and racking up over 31 million streams, Shaman's Harvest return with their new album 'Red Hands Black Deeds.'
With Keith Armstrong behind the boards, Shaman's Harvest decidedly wanted a more organic, analog sound for their sixth record. "We used analog effects pedals and vintage amps. This is the first record that we went with this approach. It was kind of like trying to find the melting point between Midwest and l.A. It still has the Shaman's Harvest Midwest vibe to it, but it definitely has organic l.A. written all over it."
Singer Nathan Hunt shares, "this past year has been a year of firsts for Shaman's Harvest and that's great and all, but we are only lookin' forward resting on our accomplishments makes us fat 'n lazy. If there's one thing rock 'n roll doesn't need it is complacency." Principle band members Nathan Hunt (vocals & acoustic guitar), Josh Hamler (guitar) and Matt Fisher (bass) have toured North America extensively mixing headline, support and festival appearances within an on-going odyssey that has delivered a broad fan base and positioning as one of rock's rising stars.1. Medicine Show #9 (Nittyville)Unique silk screened artwork on every cover making each album one of a kind!
Originally launched as a one-a-month, 12-part series, Medicine Show #9 is the first to break the chronology.
Nittyville is also perhaps the most traditional of the series, and we make no bones about it: one MC, one producer, and a rap record all about stunts, blunts and hip-hop.
As for Channel 85, it is far off most dials. This albums concept TV station runs one show only: the comic-drama, reality-musical called Nittyville, featuring Frank, MED, Oh No, Madlib, and a supporting cast of extras.
The album is 14 tracks including 10 rap tracks, 4 interludes, and runs 43 minutes.
THE LIMITED EDITION 3LP VINYL will contain the album on 2 LPs and a 3rd disc of non-album tracks. The covers will be hand silk screened by Hit+Run with artwork from Gustavo Eandi and Jeff Jank, creating one- of-a-kind artwork on every sleeve.1. Nittyville

''The Tourist'' nods to Alec Ounsworth's musical heroes--a group that includes artists such as John Cale, Robert Wyatt, Tom Waits and Nick Cave. However, this album also shows a natural progression from previous records. ''Better Off'' and ''The Vanity Of Trying'' are lush, keyboard-augmented songs, while ''A Chance To Cure'' and ''Ambulance Chaser'' are rhythmically askew, and the sighing ''Loose Ends'' is delicate, acoustic-based folk-rock.1. 50 Years Of Blonde On Blonde (Live)The 14-track album, 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, was recorded LIVE at the CMA Theater located inside the historic Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum located in Nashville, TN in May 2016. Mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning Ted Hutt and Ryan Mall.
Fifty years is a long time for a place like Nashville, Tennessee. Time rolls on slowly around here like flotsam and jetsam in the muddy Cumberland River. But certain things have accelerated the pace of our city. And certain people have sent the hands of the clock spinning. Bob Dylan is the greatest of these time-bending, paradigm-shifting Nashville cats, says Ketch Secor, the primary vocalist of the Old Crow Medicine Show.
By deciding to record his newly found rock n roll voice in 1966 Nashville, Bob swung the gates of Country music wide open; so wide, in fact, that 50 years later there was still enough of a crack left for Old Crow Medicine Show to sneak its banjos and fiddles through the gates with string band swagger.LP 1

RipsEx Hex is a power trio hailing from Washington, DC, making the music
you've been waiting for. Drums, bass, guitar, P90s, searing leads-this is
unapologetic rock 'n' roll spat out in the discipline's mother tongue.
With Wild Flag on hiatus, Mary Timony (Autoclave, Helium) needed a new
outlet, so she retreated to her basement and started writing. To her surprise,
the songs came easily and the hooks practically wrote themselves.
Mary found Laura Harris (The Aquarium, Benjy Ferree) and they hit it off
immediately. Laura is a monster on drums: intuitive, solid, and just a bit rough
around the edges. The pair played together for a couple of months in a tiny
carpet-lined practice space shared with half a dozen hardcore bands and what
appeared to be the better part of a B.C. Rich Mockingbird.
In walked Betsy Wright from the wilds of Virginia. She and Mary have similar
tendencies, both defaulting to denim and The Voidoids. Betsy is a performer
and an ace piano player, and before long, she was slinging a cherry SG as the
third member of Ex Hex.
The group played a handful of shows and a couple of months later, in the
spring of 2014, headed into the studio. Working furiously, they recorded over
the span of two weeks in North Carolina with Mitch Easter (Let's Active) and
in the basement of Mary's home with frequent collaborator Jonah Takagi.
Bobby Harlow (The Go, Conspiracy of Owls) was tapped to mix because of
his unique take on making rock records.
What results is Ex Hex Rips, twelve songs about underdogs, guys stealing your
wallet, schoolyard brawls, and getting bent. The record happens pretty quickly,
so don't blink.1. Don't Wanna Lose

Time To Go HomeChastity belt is a rock band consisting of four friends - guitarists Julia Shapiro and Lydia Lund, bassist Annie Truscott, and drummer Gretchen Grimm. They met in a tiny college town in eastern Washington, but their story begins for real in Seattle, that celebrated home of Macklemore and the twelfth man. Following a post-grad summer apart, a handful of shows and enthusiastic responses from the city's diy community led them, as it has countless others, into a cramped practice space. They emerged with a debut album, No Regerts, sold it out faster than anyone involved thought possible, and toured America, a country that embraced them with open-ish arms. Now they're back and the tab is settled, the lights are out, the birds are making noise even though the sun isn't really up yet: it's time to go home, their second long-player and first for hardly art. In the outside world, they realized something crucial: they didn't have to play party songs now that their audience didn't consist exclusively of inebriated 18-22 year olds, as it did in that college town. Though still built on a foundation of post-post-punk energy, jagged rhythms, and instrumental moves that couldn't be anyone else's, the songs they grew into in the months that followed are equal parts street-level takedown and gray-skied melancholy. They embody the sensation of being caught in the center of a moment while floating directly above it; shapiro's world spins around her on on the floor, grounded by Grimm and Truscott's most commanding playing committed to tape. They pay tribute to writer Sheila Heti on drone and John Carpenter with the thing, and deliver a parallel-universe stoner anthem influenced by electrelane with joke. recorded by JosÉ Díaz Rohena at the unknown, a desecrated church and former sail factory in anacortes, and mixed with a cathedral's worth of reverb by Matthew Simms (guitarist for legendary british post-punks and one-time tourmates Wire), time to go home sees Chastity Belt take the nights out and bad parties of their past to their stretching points, watch the world around them break apart in anticipatory haze, and rebuild it in their own image with stunning clarity before anyone gets hungover.1. QuarterbacksQUARTERBACKS started as a short-lived duo playing too-fast love songs backed by guitar and a single snare drum. Basement style, old smelly carpets, house shows for punk and patch kids. This was in New
Paltz, a college town at the bottom of a mountain in upstate New York. Dean (Dean Engle, the band's songwriter/vocalist) worked at one of the town's two record shops, as K Records-obsessed small town boys
The QUARTERBACKS line-up combusted after a handful of shows. The songs sat dormant until January 2012 when Dean enlisted Max Restaino and Tom Christie to revive the project. The new three-piece
expanded the original vision, playing love-obsessed songs with limited affectation. The songs averaged under-2 minutes, and the DIY ethic remained firm. A few tape-only releases came into being (See the
brilliant Double Double Whammy Records of Brooklyn NY).
Two years of upstate basement shows further refined their efficient twee punk set, new songs slowly forming from familiar themes and chord patterns, progress through recursion. Down the street from the record
shop where Dean worked was Team Love Records, a record label that had relocated from Sugar Street in NYC's East Village to Church Street in New Paltz. The folks at Team Love and Dean found themselves
spending way too much time discussing favorite Cat's Miaow singles and post-Young Marble Giants projects.
On February 10th, 2015, Team Love will release the first official longplayer by QUARTERBACKS. It's 19 songs played in 22 minutes. It's fast, broken-hearted and full of people, places and things. QUARTERBACKS was recorded at the Tin Roof Sessions Studio in New Paltz by Kyle Gilbride (Swearin,' Waxahatchee, Radiator Hospital) in less than 12 hours.1. Usual

"Run River North stays the course - and finds success." - NPR
"Snappy rock and chamber folk frames their tales of their parents' dreams and struggles to find purchase in America."
- Wall Street Journal
"the band's ambitious folk pop instrumentals, and embellished with frontman Alex Hwang's dulcet, Ben Gibbard-like tones,
is a sense of possibility" - MTV World
In the course of several months, Run River North went from playing a handful of hometown shows in Los Angeles to
performing to an audience of millions on late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! It was an explosive trajectory for the sextet,
whose uplifting anthems march to the beat of drums, jangling guitars and a rapturous string section. The rapid ascent from
obscurity launched a new chapter for the band (then called Monsters Calling Home), whose upcoming full-length self-titled
debut ventures further into effervescent rock anchored with a down-home aesthetic.
The band recorded their self-titled debut with producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Built to Spill, Band of Horses). The songs ebb
and flow with optimism, traversing emotional and musical landscapes woven into the strings duo of Daniel Chae and
Jennifer Rim, alongside the galloping rhythm section of bassist Joe Chun, keyboardist Sally Kang and drummer John
Chong. Together, their voices coalesce as one, a chorus calling out with a gentle urgency. The music of Run River North
explores the ever-shifting search for self, from the energetic indie-rock interludes to the lonesome guitar strums, always
asking the question: Is home a place or is it the people in your life? "We're not a posh, polished pop sound," says Alex
Hwang, Run River North's singer/songwriter. "We have stories we want to tell and they take a little more time. After all, the

Hug Of Thunder"I don't want to go out there being presumptuous," Kevin Drew says, "because, I've worn those presumptuous shoes before, and you don't want it to feel like, 'Oh, what a let-down.'" That's the fear when you bring back one of music's most beloved names seven years after their last album. But with Hug of Thunder, the fifth Broken Social Scene album, Drew and his bandmates have a right to feel presumptuous.
They have that right because they have created one of 2017's most sparkling, multi-faceted albums. On Hug of Thunder the 15 members of Broken Social Scene - well, the 15 who play on the record, including returnees Leslie Feist and Emily Haines - refract their varying emotions, methods, and techniques into something that doesn't just equal their other albums, but surpasses them. It is righteous but warm, angry but loving, melodic but uncompromising. The title track on its own might just be the best thing you will hear all year - a song that will become as beloved as "Anthems For a Seventeen-Year-Old Girl" from their breakthrough album, You Forgot It In People.
Its title, Drew says, captured what he wanted people to feel about the group's comeback, and how they sound playing together again: "It's just such a wonderful sentiment about us, coming in like a hug of thunder."
Broken Social Scene had reconvened, in varying forms, several times over the past four years - the odd festival show here and there, preferably ones that involved the least possible traveling. But the idea that they might turn their hand to something more than greatest-hits sets had been stirring since November 2014, when producer Joe Chiccarelli told Drew the group needed to make a new album.
"He started showing up at our label, asking if we were going to make an album," Drew recalls. "He just didn't give up; he just kept saying, 'You've got to strike, you've got to do this, the time is now,' and so finally we agreed."
As might be expected to be the case with a many-headed hydra of a group, getting all the principals to agree wasn't easy. Drew's co-founder Brendan Canning was keen, but Drew and fellow BSS lifer Charles Spearin took more persuading. A turning point for Drew came with the Paris terror attacks of November 2015, which made him feel the world needed an injection of positivity: "It just sort of made us want to go out there and play. Because I think we've always been a band that's been a celebration."
Canning picks up the story: "By autumn of 2015 we had started getting together and trying some ideas out, just getting back in that jam space, in Charles' garage. Then we set up shop in my living room and we were starting to come together in a very familiar kind of way, jamming in the living room, eating meals in the kitchen together, because that's what the band is about: 'Hey, let's all get on the same page and get the energies flowing in the same direction.'"
Recording finally began in April 2016 at The Bathouse studio on the shores of Lake Ontario, with later sessions in Toronto and Montreal, before the group went right back to basics. "It was very beautiful the way that it ended in Charlie's little rehearsal garage space," Drew says, "after going to all these studios. We just worked there, doing backup vocals and handclaps and all the shit we used to do when we were younger." And then it was to Los Angeles, where the album was mixed.
The result is a panoramic, expansive album, 53 minutes that manages to be both epic and intimate. In troubled times it offers a serotonin rush of positivity: "Stay Happy" lives up to its title, with huge surges of brass that sound like sunshine bursting through clouds. "Gonna Get Better" makes a promise that the album is determined to deliver. That's not to say it's an escapist record: Broken Social Scene is completely engaged, wholly focussed, and not ignoring the darkness that lurks outside. But there is no hectoring, no lecturing, but a recognition of the confusion and ambiguity of the world. As the title track closes with Leslie Feist murmuring "There was a military base across the street," the listener is caught in the division between the national security provided by national defense, and the menace of the same thing.
The gestation of Hug of Thunder was no idyll. When You Forgot It in People made their name, Broken Social Scene were young men and women. Fifteen years on, they were adults in or on the cusp of middle age, and - as Drew puts it - "all the adult problems in the world were happening around us individually, whether it was divorce or cancer". Three members of the band lost their fathers while the album was being recorded, "and it seemed like the days of going in the studio, getting stoned, drinking five beers and saying, 'Who gives a fuck?' were over".
Then there's the fact of the size of the ensemble, and the number of competing voices. "You don't always get the final say with Broken Social Scene," Canning says, with a certain degree of understatement. He compares the process of getting everyone to agree on a song to party politics: "It's like you're trying to get a bill passed through the House - you have to be really committed to wanting to win."
But, still, if they were to return, it had to be with everybody, no matter if that meant things might get unwieldy. "I'd like to believe that Broken Social Scene can be whatever it can be," Canning says, "but I think the fact we'd gone away for so long meant we really, we really couldn't have done the same thing without everyone involved, you know?" The story of Broken Social Scene, he insists, was built on the involvement of everyone, and so if the story was to be continued, those same people had to return.
"The thing that has changed is that the relationships between us are established," Drew suggests. "And in a family, you ebb and flow and you come and you go and you're in love and then you're annoyed - but it's established now, the relationships aren't going anywhere, you know? And I think through time, because we've been through so much together, personally and professionally, when we're all on stage, everybody knows what they're doing, everybody has a melody to back up someone else, you feel supported, you're a crew, there's nothing but protection all around you."
Canning picks up the theme: "Before we were making this record, I said to everyone: 'We all basically want the same thing, we might just have slightly different roadmaps on how to get there. So how do we stray off on certain country roads but get back onto the main thoroughfare?'"
That Broken Social Scene was a family again, driving along the same main road, became apparent to UK fans in September 2016, when the group - with Ariel Engle the latest woman to assume the role of co-lead vocalist - came over for less than a handful of festival shows, to test the waters. Their Sunday teatime appearance at End Of The Road - an ecstatic hour of maximalist music, physically and emotionally overwhelming - ended up being one of the biggest hits of the festival. It achieved what Drew has always felt music needed to do: it created transcendence, a pocket of time where everyone present was living only in the moment.
"My 11-year-old nephew asked me, 'Uncle Kev, why do adults get drunk?' and I looked at him and thought, 'OK, brilliant question, I'm going to give a brilliant answer,'" Drew recalls. "And I looked at him for about 10 seconds and I said, 'Because they want to feel like you. Because they want to feel like a kid again, they want to forget everything, they want to be innocent.' We are built in a way now where you can't do that because you're walking around with the anti-transcendence box in your pocket, and in your hand, and in your home, and on your bedside table: it's the anti-transcendence. It's called your phone! And we're getting killed, we're getting killed!"
So what do Broken Social Scene want listeners to take from Hug of Thunder? Canning wants it to make them "pause for the cause and maybe just leave things in your life alone for 53 minutes". For Drew, it's about what it's always been about: making the connection. "I just hope they understand that there's others out there, that they're not alone," he says. "I know that's silly! But you'd be surprised how many times I've had to tell people, 'Hey, you're not alone on this, you're not alone thinking these things.' I mean, with the title Hug of Thunder, I want to hold people. I want to fucking hold them. And when we do shows, I'm not: 'Look at me, I'm elevated up on the stage,' It's: 'We're here with you, this is us together.' Broken Social Scene is about the people, and it's always been about the people."1. Sol Luna

Live At The MarqueeThis is a live recording featuring songs from When Dream and Day Unite and Images and Words. There really isn't that much going on here that can't be heard on the studio records. A Fortune in Lies is treated with more aggression than the original and remains one of their gems from the past. Bombay Vindaloo is a jam session that features some creative drumming from Mike Portnoy and some diverse playing from John Petrucci. Especially impressive were the muted, Al DiMeola-style quotes. Another Hand - The Killing Hand is a combination of an instrumental (Another Hand) commonly featured in their live shows and the now-infamous The Killing Hand. The latter is given a great update by singer James LaBrie and probably didn't have too many people missing Charlie Dominici. This is a good live session that will appeal mostly to the diehards of this excellent progressive metal band.1. Metropolis

Wayne CochranWayne Cochran! The exclamation point is there for a reason. Known as "The White Knight of Soul," Cochran was flamboyant in both voice and attire. Crowned by a swooping white pompadour, he held back nothing on stage. His performance style was very reminiscent of fellow Georgia native Little Richard Penniman. Like Penniman, music led Cochran to his current career as a minister. Anyone who's ever witnessed a fire-and-brimstone southern gospel service can see the connection between gospel's passion and r&b's groove.
Issued by Chess Records in 1967, Wayne Cochran! captured the outrageous energy of his live show within the album's grooves. This explosive collection of songs proved that Cochran deserved to share the label home of r&b greats like Etta James, Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters. Rather than a traditional artist portrait, the front cover features an outline of his white pompadour against a black background. Simple and direct, it stood in stark relief against the sea of day-glo, psychedelic imagery of the day. To put it another way, the cover art clearly conveyed that this album was all killer, no filler.
The original mono version of this LP is incredibly rare and changes hands for princely sums. However, there is no need to empty the savings account now that Sundazed Music has prepared a righteous reissue, in glorious mono! Sourced from the original analog master tapes, this Sundazed edition is 180gm of concentrated soul. Just add a turntable and watch the party spring to life!1. Get Ready

Carpe Noctum (Live 2015)Having toured with Metallica, Whitesnake, Alice Cooper, The Scorpions, and many other artists since their inception in the early 80s, Armored Saint has always been a highly regarded live act - not only in their hometown of Los Angeles, but also around the world. The only official release to capture this, however, is 1989's live album, 'Saints Will Conquer' - until now.
After reforming with their original line-up in 1999 (John Bush - vocals, Joey Vera - bass, Phil Sandoval - guitar, Jeff Duncan - guitar, Gonzo Sandoval - drums), and releasing subsequent albums, 'La Raza' (2010) and 'Win Hands Down' (2015), to critical acclaim, Armored Saint has been delivering their heavy metal mastery around the globe, joining the likes of Saxon, Metal Church - and even Queensryche in November/December 2016 - on the road. Of all of these performances, the band recorded their 2015 Wacken festival set as well as their headlining show in Aschaffenburg, Germany, with the intention of giving fans another live release that holds up to 'Saints Will Conquer.'1. Undivided Heart & SoulUndivided Heart & Soul, produced by Dan Molad (Lucius) and
McPherson, and developed largely in the studio (that studio being the historic
RCA Studio B in Nashville), carries a sense of immediacy and irreverence.
"In writing this record, I threw several handfuls of caution to the wind.
Lyrically, I was allowing myself to be exposed in a way I never have before.
Concurrently, maybe as some sort of a self-defense mechanism, the guitars
got fuzzier and louder. The first day at RCA was like being in church...
by the second day, it was a high school band's rehearsal space."
Putting the hands of Dan Molad on the wheel of the record ensured that
the music didn't take too many expected turns. "Having toured with
Lucius and befriended Dan, I knew he was the guy to push my buttons
and challenge me to try new things. He's a tireless worker. He's constantly
tinkering away on something... and music just falls out of him."
The vintage recording equipment and instruments still housed
in RCA Studio B greatly informed the direction of the record. "Each night,
at the end of tracking, someone would invariably say, 'You wanna put vibes
on this?', speaking of the old RCA Vibraphone. I mean, you can hear THAT
vibraphone on Roy Orbison's 'Crying'... we couldn't keep our hands off of it.
It guided some of the songs into some strange and wonderful places.
'Lucky Penny' took such a cool turn once Ray (Jacildo, keys) added some to it.
We wrote several songs on the piano that Floyd Cramer played 'Last
Date' on. We were soaking up so much of the phantom energy in
that room, it led to some incredible sonic territory."
"Most folks know us for our take on vintage R&B and early Rock N' Roll.
The past year, I've been digging so much into the heavier, brasher sounds of
early Rock N' Roll... from bands like The Sonics, Link Wray, and into some
early British Rock such as The Creation... these influences feature heavily in
these songs. The tunes that showed up weren't exactly always in familiar
territory, and... we greeted them as welcome strangers. They have a lot
of heart... and that's what Rock N' Roll should always have."1. Desperate Love

Live At The Marquee (Colored Vinyl)
Limited Edition Of 2000 Numbered Copies On 180 Gram Solid Red Vinyl
Live at the Marquee is Dream Theater's live album recorded at the famous London's Marquee Club on April 23, 1993. It features songs from When Dream and Day Unite and Images and Words [MOVLP780]. A Fortune in Lies is treated with more aggression than the original and remains one of their gems from the past. Another Hand - The Killing Hand is a combination of an instrumental commonly featured in their live shows and the now-infamous The Killing Hand.
As exception, Bombay Vindaloo is an improvisation-based composition performed live only six times and never recorded in a studio.
The vinyl edition of Live at the Marquee matches the complete track listing of the original CD release in 1993 and therefore also includes Surrounded.1. Metropolis

Black Labyrinth (Pre-Order)It would be nearly impossible to mistake anyone else for Jonathan Davis. A true original, the Bakersfield, CA singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist indelibly impacts millions as frontman for alt-metal/rock game-changers KoRn-whose accolades encompass two GRAMMY® Award wins, worldwide sales of 40 million-plus, and countless sold out shows in nearly every corner of the globe. Throughout over 20 years in music, his presence coursed through the film scores, contributions to popular video game franchises, and official remixes for the likes of Steve Aoki and more. Along the way, he lent his voice to tracks for everyone from Linkin Park to Tech N9ne. However, 2018 sees him doing something he has yet to do: release his first solo album.
Writing and recording on the road, he played guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on. Moreover, the music was primarily recorded live. Led by the single "What It Is," it continues a tradition by boldly treading new territory.
"I've always got to be different," he leaves off. "Once again, I'm doing something I haven't heard before. This is my swan song. It's my fucking masterpiece up to this point."LP 1
