Ranked 116/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Etta James' debut album, At Last!, originally released in 1961 on Chess subsidiary label, Argo. The album's title track "At Last" and "All I Could Do Was Cry" (co-written by future Motown mogul Berry Gordy) both went to #2 on the R&B charts, while the album itself has gone down in history as one of the great classic albums of early R&B. The 4 bonus tracks are taken from two 1960 singles featuring doo-wop idol Harvey Fuqua of the Moonglows (best known for their 1955 hit "Sincerely"). 180g vinyl pressing with bonus CD.

    Together At Last

Together At Last is a new album by songwriter and guitarist Jeff Tweedy. It features the Wilco bandleader performing eleven of his own songs, culled from the Wilco catalog as well as from side-projects Loose Fur and Golden Smog, in a solo acoustic setting. Recorded at Tweedy's Chicago recording studio The Loft, Together At Last showcases Tweedy's accomplished and intricate guitar playing and his expressive, plaintive voice, and while audiences have experienced Tweedy live onstage as a solo performer for years, this is the first studio recording of its kind for the acclaimed musician.

    Lost At Last Vol. 1

Dear friends, freaks and beautiful strangers,

As many of you know, I've been hard at work on a new record for the last many months. Now the time has come to share it with you all!!! I'm humbled and delighted to announce, Lost at Last Vol. 1 will be released via Dualtone Records.

From its inception, the only goal was to create an album based in love. Music for the people who love and cherish other people. For those that wish to live in a world of possibilities and to be who we are, not who we're taught to be. I hope we've succeeded. I hope it will offer a small flame to dance by when it feels cold and dark.

    Keith Jarrett: piano

    Charlie Haden: double bass

Keith Jarrett and Charlie Haden broaden the scope of their duo project to showcase jazz classics like Thelonious Monk's "Round Midnight" and Bud
Powell's spritely "Dance Of The Infidels". Love songs, however, are to the fore in this selection, with tender versions of "My Old Flame", "My Ship", "It
Might As Well Be Spring", "Everything Happens To Me", and "Every Time We Say Goodbye" as well as alternate takes of "Where Can I Go Without You"
and "Goodbye", every bit as touching as the Jasmine renditions. "When we play together it's like two people singing", said Jarrett of his reunion with
Haden. The intentions of the song are honored, the shades of meaning in a melody or a lyric explored instrumentally. As Charlie Haden put it, "Keith really
listens, and I listen. That's the secret. It's about listening."The music of Last Dance was recorded at Keith Jarrett's home studio.

    Last Summer

Eleanor Friedberger is known for her work in Chicagos the Fiery Furnaces, a band she created with her brother Matthew at the turn of the millennium. Together they won a number of awards, sold out shows the world over and recorded nine albums. That experience, combined with the fact that the Fiery Furnaces arent breaking up, inspired her to make her first solo record, Last Summer.

In the music, you will hear the casual confrontation of the most emotionally direct Fiery Furnaces songs, plus a lot of snap, crackle and pop. In fact, in these songs made of memories, you will hear the future. Sparks, Donovan, Procol Harum, Kath Bloom, Lô Borges and Todd Rundgren too. Friedbergers phrasing is as good as anyones; even better, when the lines over and most other singers would leave it right there, shell throw in an unnecessary extra syllable.

Limited 45th Anniversary Edition on 180 Gram Vinyl with Rare Gatefold Cover and Original UK Photos of Dave Mason, Stevie Winwood, Chris Wood and Jim Capaldi

Mastered by Joe Reagoso from Original Island Records Tapes at Friday Music Studios with Kevin Gray

Traffic were one of the premier architects of the acid rock movement in the sixties and blossomed further into one of the most important super groups of the seventies. Their recordings are the soundtrack to a generation of music enthusiasts that continues to this day and will forever stand the test of time.

In 1968, the legendary founding members Stevie Winwood, Dave Mason, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood went back to the recording studio after releasing two smash albums with Dear Mr. Fantasy and Traffic and continued their winning streak with their groundbreaking third LP Last Exit.

Known for their superior progressive rock, jazz and pop influences, the multi-faceted music of Last Exit offers non-stop entertainment which truly illustrates the legendary talent of this English quartet. Whether standout tracks from the pens of Dave Mason like his classic rock opener Just For You or the prog-rock Winwood and Capaldi's classic Withering Tree, the Last Exit album has surely earned its currency over the years as one of the more important albums of their highly embraced musical catalog.

Filled with the piano driven melodies and vocals of the legendary Stevie Winwood, the hard rocking vocals and guitar work of the masterful Dave Mason, the explosive sax breaks by the late Chris Wood and the power drumming and vocals of the late great Jim Capaldi, the Last Exit album will always be one of the most revered albums in their extraordinary career.

Even further classics ensued with each of the hard rockin' seven tracks that make up this masterwork how about the smash sounds of Shanghai Noodle Factory or another Traffic classic Medicated Goo, plus more Windwood/Capaldi/Mason collaborations like Something's Got A Hold Of My Toe In addition to all of these brilliant tracks, there are two lengthy live performances captured at the Fillmore West with the jam vibes of Feelin' Good or the Bobby Blue" Bland belter Blind Man. No matter what track is your favorite, it's all about Traffic, classic Traffic, and it just doesn't get much better than this.

    The Last Waltz

Mastered By Chris Bellman At Bernie Grundman Studios From The Original Analog Tapes And Pressed At RTI

On Thanksgiving Day 1976, The Band took the stage for the very last time at the Winterland Theatre in San Francisco for THE LAST WALTZ, which has gone on to become one of the most heralded performances of all time. Joining The Band on stage throughout the evening was an unprecedented group of pioneers in music including Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, and Neil Young, among others.

The Band, more than any other group, put rock and roll back in touch with its roots. With their ageless songs and solid grasp of musical idioms, the Band reached across the decades, making connections for a generation that was, as an era of violent cultural schisms wound down, in desperate search of them. They projected a sense of community in the turbulent late Sixties and early Seventies - a time when the fabric of community in the United States was fraying.

Guitarist Robbie Robertson drew from history in his evocative, cinematic story-songs, and the vocal triumvirate of bassist Rick Danko, drummer Levon Helm and keyboardist Richard Manuel joined in rustic harmony and traded lines in rich, conversational exchanges. Multi-instrumentalist Garth Hudson provided musical coloration in period styles that evoked everything from rural carnivals of the early 20th century to rock and roll revues of the Fifties. Recorded with Tue Madsen (Heaven Shall Burn, The Haunted) at Nova Studios in Staten Island, New York and mixed at Madsen's Antfarm Studios in Aarhus, Denmark, "Last Act of Defiance" marks the third time SICK OF IT ALL have recorded with the Dane. What they get in return is a heavy, thick sound that recalls the hardness of the Big Apple and aligns perfectly with the wicked rhythms of guitarist Pete Koller, the deep grooves of bassist Craig Setari, Majidi's cement-cracking drums, and Lou Koller's fist-raising shouts and screams.

First Time 180 Gram Audiophile Blue Vinyl & Gatefold Cover

Mastered Impeccably By Joe Reagoso (Alice Cooper/Deep Purple)

Featuring Hits: Lost In America, Sideshow & It's Me

1994 was a banner year for superstar Alice Cooper with his conceptual hit album "The Last Temptation." A solid nod to his previous 1975 classic "Welcome To My Nightmare" "Temptation" became a fixture on hard rock and heavy metal scene thanks to the hit single "Lost In America." As would be expected, this fine new album would go on to be one of his best received with his fans and the critics alike.

Featuring ten great new rockers with help from friends like Chris Cornell on "Stolen Prayer" and "Unholy War", plus the great team of Tommy Shaw (Styx/Damn Yankees) and Jack Blades (Night Ranger/Damn Yankees) on the power ballad smash "It's Me", "The Last Temptation" album truly was a masterwork from the hard rock legend Alice Cooper.

At the time, CD's were the format of choice and there was never a North American vinyl release of the album. Even overseas, it was very rare, and is one of the most expensive Alice Cooper collectables if you could even find one that is until now!!

Friday Music is honored to offer another installment in our Alice Cooper 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Series with the spectacular "The Last Tempation." Impeccably mastered by Joe Reagoso (Alice Cooper/Styx/Deep Purple) at Friday Music Studios and Capitol Records in Hollywood, CA, the stunning album comes to life now in the audiophile vinyl domain.

To further enhance your listening hours, for a limited time, the hard rockin' Lp will be manufactured at R.T.I. on translucent blue vinyl and will be housed in a first time gatefold cover. The Godfather of Shock Rock Alice Cooper released his 20th studio album back in 1994. After a long period he made his comeback at the end of the 80s and the follow-up of predecessor Hey Stoopid is one of another level. The Last Temptation breathes the heavy metal in the storyline which is concentrated around the main character Steven. Aware of his downfall Alice created one of his best work in a long period of time. His return to mostly conceptual songs such as Nothing's Free and You're My Temptation brought him back at the top of the hard rock scene. His ballad Stolen Prayer is strong and can be classified under his best songs. The originality of the song Lost in America got him back on the playground and let us hear how he can still rock the world.

Over 50 years of working in the music industry brought Alice Cooper much fame, but also periods of time when he was searching for ways to get out of his addictions. The beloved entertainer sold millions of albums worldwide and has won numerous of awards.

    Last Young Renegade

I think one of the big things as we were working on the record, was just pushing ourselves forward, All Time Low singer Alex Gaskarth explained in a recent Alternative Press interview discussing the band's new single, 'Dirty Laundry.' When we put out Don't Panic, we hit the reset button on the band and we started looking at Don't Panic as if it was our first record out of the gate as a more realized version of All Time Low.

Then [there was] Future Hearts, he continues. And that felt like we started pushing the envelope forward and trying to expand the sound and grow. 'Dirty Laundry' is a continuation of that. It's taking the idea from the last album and continuing to push it forward and explore new things.

'Last Young Renegade' is All Time Low's Fueled By Ramen debut and follow-up to the band's 2015 release, Future Hearts.

Inspired by bands such as Sheer Terror, Breakdown, Carnivore and Raw Deal, Blood For Blood formed as a reaction to the existing heavy music scene in Boston back in 1995. We couldn't relate to anything that was going on in Boston at the time, says vocalist Erick Medina, We wanted to hear music about the shit we saw and faced everyday. We wanted to hear shit that was pissed off and mirrored the desparation that we felt in our lives. The scene at the time was a fashion show. The people sucked and the bands sucked so we started our own band and forged our own scene.

And they never looked back. With a core of diehard fans and a notorious reputation with club security and law enforcement around town, Blood For Blood quickly established themselves as Boston's hardest and most infamous band. Here on their 1997 debut full-length, Spit My Last Breath, Blood For Blood layed the groundwork for what would be an unparalleled legacy in hardcore. Considered one of the band's finest moments, the album includes nine tracks from their original debut and four bonus tracks from the band's Hurt You demo. Last Night On Earth

"At times sounding like Hendrix operating a theremin, and elsewhere resembling the mournful cries of lonesome satellites."

    - Filter

"It's great to hear the third voice in Sonic Youth stretching out... a reminder of their irreplaceable magic."

    - Rolling Stone

Inspired by time spent trapped in his apartment during Hurricane Sandy last fall, Lee Ranaldo's new album with his band The Dust tackles themes of despair, rage and societal shift. The songs on the new album are darker, longer and more intense than those of its predecessor. In particular, the intertwining guitar play between Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Alan Licht (Love Child, Run On, acclaimed solo work) enlivens these beautiful, scary songs.

The Dust also features the incredible drumming of Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and bass work of Tim LÜntzel (who has worked with artists from Van Dyke Parks to Norah Jones). The rock-solid rhythm section grounds the exploratory, inviting music. "Every time I wait for the revolution to come," Ranaldo sings on "Home Chds." "Every night I think it's here and then it's gone."

"A solo record works best when you feel like you're opening a window into somebody's life, experiencing the things they're going through or thinking about, places they're seeing, through their eyes. At its best, you find a universality in it." - Lee Ranaldo

    Last Days and Time

Last Days and Time is the third studio album by American R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire, released in 1972, their debut album on Columbia Records. It was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studios in Hollywood, California, with founder and multi-instrumentalist Maurice White, Verdine White and Philip Bailey.

Due to their live performances it cemented their status as the main funk band and set the stage for the band's blockbuster breakthrough. Songs on the album like Make It With You (originally from Bread) the pre-Brazilian Rhyme powerful funk sax style Power, (which sounds like an early version of Serpentine Fire) and Remember The Children are excellent examples of the great songs and albums they have made during their career.

    The Last Dawn

When MONO began in 1999, they set out with a simple mission:
From bliss to bludgeon, no matter how long or winding the path
may be. Their debut album, Under The Pipal Tree, outlined that
mission in twisted, psychedelic fury. Subsequent albums would see
the band honing their craft, mastering their mission, and ultimately
abandoning that path in favor of more grandiose pursuits. Flanked
by increasingly larger orchestras, MONO performed live at some of
the most prestigious venues in New York City, London, Tokyo, and
Australia. MONO had become an orchestral rock band, a spectacle
of extreme melancholy and melodrama. By 2012's For My Parents,
the band had finally reached the logical conclusion of that era; it
was time to remember where they started, and to rethink where
they were heading. Less strings? No strings? Louder? Quieter?
    Lighter? Darker? Yes.

The Last Dawn and Rays of Darkness are a pair of new albums by
MONO. Recorded simultaneously yet conceptually and creatively
disparate, the two act as both opposing and complementary sides
to a story. No strangers to narratives, the twin albums explore
familiar themes for the band: Hope and hopelessness, love and
loss, immense joy and unspeakable pain. Those elemental parts of
life and the complicated relationships they create have never been
more resonant through MONO's music than they are here.

The Last Dawn is the first of these two companion albums, and is
the lighter of the two, thematically and melodically. It contains
undoubtedly some of MONO's strongest songs ever, drawing on an
array of influences from minimalist film score to vintage shoegaze.
It is MONO at their absolute purest, executing an uncanny,
unspoken dialogue with each other without the dozens of stringed
instruments that have been so prominent throughout their catalog
in recent years. The songs are also noticeably more efficient -
MONO have always been masters of telling compelling stories
without words. But now they've proven they can do it without frills,
    too.

And lo, Lee Dorrian, mouthpiece of Cathedral for 23 years, doth solemnly intone the death rites of this mighty British metal Titan. Born in the dying days of Thatcher's Britain, bonding over then-unfashionable, obscure names like Saint Vitus, Pentagram, Trouble and Dream Death, Cathedral's sole ambition was to record a demo tape. In fact they revolutionised doom metal, first pushing their influences into new avenues of grinding extremity, then pioneering groovier forms of '70s-indebted stoner doom.

They've remained a reassuring and singular presence in our lives, building a rabid following worldwide with their wholly distinctive blend of rollicking British heavy metal, true doom, 70s hard rock, psych-folk, mad prog and spiky crust-punk. There was a worrying hiatus between 2005 and 2010 when some dared to wonder if Cathedral were coming back at all - but they re-emerged with 'The Guessing Game', an overflowing treasure chest of weird and wonderful goodies exploring new, bold variations on their craft. So when news came that Cathedral really were approaching the Endtyme, it was a shock.

Personally speaking, this is the album I've been waiting to do since the first one (their landmark 1991 debut, Forest of Equilibrium), it almost feels like we made our second album last in some respects. We actually recorded a lot more material but decided to sacrifice many of the tracks to make the overall album feel more complete in its nihilism. I don't like happy endings, I never have. So many good films are ruined by happy endings and I didn't want that to be the case with Cathedral, it was my dream to bring everything full circle. Says Lee Dorrian.

Clearly there was new impetus for reconnecting with that early spirit of doleful abjection, of sinister obsessions and lamented desires; on 'The Last Spire' Cathedral are literally doomed. We are commiserating the celebration, and in what thrilling style.

    The Last Laugh

The Last Laugh is the debut album from U.K. based Joker's Daughter, featuring vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Helena Costas. This fresh folk-pop excursion reveals new facets of the renowned artist and producer Danger Mouse, who collaborates with Costas throughout.

Born in London to Greek Cypriot parents, Helena learned violin from ages 7 to 13. Later, she taught herself guitar and keyboards. All the while, she developed a unique inner language and logic, rich with unconscious resonance, mythic allusions and complex food analogies. She wrote songs incessantly, and learned the art of production, using the studio as an instrument. Meanwhile, she developed her confidence by playing constant gigs around London, where she faced demanding audiences and learned to improvise.

In 2003, she began mailing her home recordings to the esteemed artist and producer Danger Mouse. As his international fame grew, the pair kept in touch. They discovered a natural affinity and decided to collaborate, naming their project Joker's Daughter after one of Helena's many porous artistic personae. Helena describes Joker's Daughter as a dualistic character who draws from the serious to turn it into humor.

Helena's striking melodies and rich, sensory lyrics reveal the depth, passion and prankishness in her psyche. Danger Mouse collaborates fully at every stage, contributing his farsighted skills as a songwriter, producer and musician. The result is an intoxicating, disorienting blend of folk music from some strange, timeless, uncharted dream world. The project also features the horns of Neutral Milk Hotel's Scott Spillane and the string arrangements of frequent Danger Mouse collaborator Daniele Luppi.
