    RAM

Ladies and gentlemen, this is an album from a long, long time ago, when the world was different. This is an album that is part of my history, it goes back to the wee hills of Scotland where it was formed. It's an album called RAM. It reminds me of my hippie days and the free attitude with which it was created. I hope you're going to like it, because I do! - Paul McCartney (2012)

Following the successful recent reissues of McCartney, McCartney II, and 2012's Grammy winner for 'Best Historical Album, Band on the Run, RAM is the latest album from Paul's iconic back catalog to get the deluxe Paul McCartney Archive Collection treatment. As with the previous releases in the series, Paul has personally overseen every aspect of the project and the result is spectacular!

RAM, originally released in May of 1971, is the only album to be credited to both Paul and Linda McCartney and was Paul's second post-Beatles LP. It was overshadowed at the time by the drama of the dissolution of The Beatles, as played out in the world's media. The album topped the charts hitting #1 in the UK and #2 in the US. While RAM polarized critics upon its release, music fans and critics alike since have overwhelmingly embraced it, with Rolling Stone, for example, revising their original review up to 4 stars. Recently RAM has enjoyed even further re-appraisal and acknowledgement including a number of tribute albums.

RAM was written by Paul and Linda, mostly at their Scottish farm on the Mull of Kintyre. In the autumn of 1970 they flew to New York to start the recording process. Without a band in place they auditioned and drafted musicians, who included future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell and guitarists David Spinozza and Hugh McCracken. RAM gave Paul his first solo US #1 single with Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey and a Grammy win for 'Best Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists.'

The band completed the album in early 1971 along with non-album tracks Another Day and Oh Woman, Oh Why which were released together as Paul's first post-Beatles single ahead of the release of RAM and became a Top 5 global hit. This remastered 180g 2LP, gatefold vinyl reissue includes both songs as bonus tracks along with additional material that didn't appear on the original release.

    Run River North

2-LP Gatefold Package With Bonus Track

"Run River North stays the course - and finds success." - NPR

"Snappy rock and chamber folk frames their tales of their parents' dreams and struggles to find purchase in America."
    - Wall Street Journal

"the band's ambitious folk pop instrumentals, and embellished with frontman Alex Hwang's dulcet, Ben Gibbard-like tones,
is a sense of possibility" - MTV World

In the course of several months, Run River North went from playing a handful of hometown shows in Los Angeles to
performing to an audience of millions on late-night show Jimmy Kimmel Live! It was an explosive trajectory for the sextet,
whose uplifting anthems march to the beat of drums, jangling guitars and a rapturous string section. The rapid ascent from
obscurity launched a new chapter for the band (then called Monsters Calling Home), whose upcoming full-length self-titled
debut ventures further into effervescent rock anchored with a down-home aesthetic.

The band recorded their self-titled debut with producer Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Built to Spill, Band of Horses). The songs ebb
and flow with optimism, traversing emotional and musical landscapes woven into the strings duo of Daniel Chae and
Jennifer Rim, alongside the galloping rhythm section of bassist Joe Chun, keyboardist Sally Kang and drummer John
Chong. Together, their voices coalesce as one, a chorus calling out with a gentle urgency. The music of Run River North
explores the ever-shifting search for self, from the energetic indie-rock interludes to the lonesome guitar strums, always
asking the question: Is home a place or is it the people in your life? "We're not a posh, polished pop sound," says Alex
Hwang, Run River North's singer/songwriter. "We have stories we want to tell and they take a little more time. After all, the
journey to find your place is a long one, it's an ongoing, evolving adventure."

    Born To Run

Ranked 18/500 On Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time

Mastered By Bob Ludwig Working Under The Supervision Of Springsteen & Engineer Toby Scott

Bruce Springsteen spent everything he had - patience, energy, studio time, the physical endurance of his E Street Band - to make his masterpiece. There are a dozen guitar overdubs on the title track alone. The album became a monster, Springsteen recalled. But in making his third album, he was living out the central drama in its gun-the-engine rock & roll: the fight to reconcile big dreams with crushing reality. He found it so hard to re-create the sound in his head - the Jersey-bar dynamite of his live gigs, Phil Spector's grandeur, Roy Orbison's melodrama - that he nearly gave up and put out a live album. But his attention to detail produced a timeless record about the labors and glories of aspiring to greatness.

If ever there was a "band that launched a thousand bands," it would be the Ventures. Founded in Tacoma, Washington in 1958, their guitar-based instrumental sound would prove hugely influential, inspiring countless followers to pick up a guitar, bass or set of drumsticks and try to emulate their heroes. As these musical neophytes would soon learn, it wasn't as easy as it initially appeared. The Ventures were masters of tone and technique, deftly arranging their instruments in a seamless approach that was instantly recognizable. Because they were an instrumental group, their songs needed no translation, which resulted in a huge worldwide following. While many rock bands have claimed to be "big in Japan" over the years, the Ventures were the country's first rock superstars and they maintain a devoted worldwide following to this day. With over 100 million records sold, they are the best-selling instrumental group of all time.

Sundazed is proud to rightfully address the magnificent Ventures' catalog-each title has been sourced from the original Dolton and Liberty Records' reels and painstakingly mastered to sound and feel like they were originally intended. Along with precise artwork restoration on each vinyl LP title, these new Sundazed editions stand as the definitive re-releases of these monumentally important albums. Long may they rock!

    Run With The Pack (Deluxe)

During a rare break from touring, Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, Simon Kirke and Boz Burrell got together in France to record new songs using the Rolling Stones mobile recording studio. Those sessions produced Run With The Pack, a 10-song album that came out in early 1976 and rose to #4 in England and #5 in America, where it sold three million copies alone. Radio stations embraced the title track along with a cover of The Coasters Young Blood, while Silver, Blue & Gold became one of the band s signature tracks, even though it was never officially released as a single.

The bonus LP that accompanies RUN WITH THE PACK: DELUXE EDITION includes unreleased early mixes for Honey Child and Simple Man, as well as an extended version of the title track. There s also the previously unreleased Let There Be Love, an outtake from the recording sessions. In fact, the acoustic version of Do Right By Your Woman, previously only available as the B-Side of the single release of Run With The Pack, is the only song on the bonus LP that has ever been previously released.

    Those Who Didn't Run EP

To say Colin Stetson has come into his own in 2011 would be an understatement. February of 2011 saw the release of Colin's highly acclaimed solo album New History Warfare Vol. 2: Judges broadly received as a sonic, conceptual, compositional and technical tour de force. Thanks to his trajectory as a session and guest player with a diverse crop of iconoclastic pop/rock practitioners (Tom Waits, Laurie Anderson, TV On The Radio, Arcade Fire) as well as his own tenure in bands like Sway Machinery and Bell
Orchestre, Stetson was poised to bridge the gap between contemporary rock and more rarified currents of avant jazz. With the Judges album, he did just that, garnering high praise from the both the jazz and pop/rock worlds.

Colin's astounding physical engagement with his instruments (chiefly bass and alto saxophones) produces emotionally rich and polyphonic compositions that transcend expectations of what solo horn playing can sound like. Stetson is equally at home in the avant jazz tradition of players who have pushed the boundaries of the instrument through circular breathing, embouchure, etc. (i.e. Evan Parker, Mats Gustafsson) and at the nexus of noise/drone/minimalist music that encompasses genres like dark metal, post-rock and contemporary eletronics (i.e. Tim Hecker and Ben Frost both of whom have mixed or remixed Stetson recordings).

Stetson's non-stop gigging at SXSW 2011 (on the NPR, Pitchfork and Pop Montreal stages) led to hundreds of dropped jaws and just as many superlatives about the man's mind-altering, heart-rending music: how it defies both genre boundaries and the physical boundaries of what one person can sonically generate in live performance with a single acoustic instrument, without recourse to looping pedals or other effects.

Through the 30-odd solo performances delivered in the wake of the Judges release in the Spring of 2011, Colin continued delving into new compositions and especially more long-form trance/transcendental explorations. Having premiered a couple of these new songs at a small art gallery show in Montreal in May of 2011, Constellation was duly blown away and encouraged Colin to record them while still in their raw, staminatesting glory. He agreed and brought in good friend (and now Grammy-winning engineer) Mark Lawson (Arcade Fire, Islands) to help capture the performances in Stetson's own basement rehearsal/studio space.

The two pieces on this new EP both clock in at 10 minutes and are documented in direct fashion, using a handful of mic positions and, as usual, no looping or overdubbing of any sort. They are brilliant single-take performances that showcase Stetson's love for minimalism, a subtle pop sensibility, and a mesmerising, mantric, time-warping technical ability.

Those Who Didn't Run EP is an amazing addition to what will no doubt be an expanding Colin Stetson discography in coming years; a wonderfully realized portrait of Colin's solo playing before he embarks on a year's worth of touring as part of Bon Iver's live band.

Those Who Didn't Run EP is available as a 10 pressed on heavyweight audiophile vinyl and comes in a screenprinted jacket by Repetitive Press in Montreal, featuring an illustration by Nadia Moss.

    The Band Perry

Daddy rocked us to sleep with the Rolling Stones; Mama woke us up with Loretta Lynn. So we get it honest. - Kimberly Perry

Inheriting a cross-pollinated love of country and rock & roll from their parents, The Band Perry - siblings Kimberly, Reid, and Neil Perry - say that they bleed the bright red blood of American music. The three have always felt the drive to perform and create music, sweating out the summers in Mobile, Alabama playing in any dusty roadhouse or church that would have them. Kimberly strapped on her first Gibson - and fronted her first high school band - at age 15, employing Reid, then 10, and Neil, only 8, as her roadies. Changing guitar strings and polishing cymbals for their big sister lost its charm after awhile, so the brothers formed their own band, opening for Kimberly's band.

My bass and I've been attached at the hip since I was 10 years old, says Reid. While most of my friends were playing little league, I was sitting in my room learning Rolling Stones' and Beatles' bass lines. It's really all I've ever known. Even as the three worked in different bands, the siblings would spend nights at home playing together: I remember sitting out on our front porch singing old Hank Williams and Bobbie Gentry songs in three-part harmony, hoping to channel the spirits of old country through musical sÉance while fighting off the southern Alabama mosquitoes, says Kimberly. We always knew we'd take the stage together - all we were waiting on was the right moment. That moment came in July of 2005, when - after years of writing together - the siblings decided to join forces as one band. The Band Perry was then invited by the Coca-Cola Bottling Company to open all of the dates on their New Faces Of Country Tour that year.

In the summer of 2008, after spending a few years on the road honing their sound, TBP met longtime Garth Brooks manager Bob Doyle. Partnering with Bob and Josh Pegram, The Band Perry spent the fall and winter of 2008 writing in Nashville and collecting songs for their first country recording session.

The three of us bring different strengths into the writing room, Neil points out. Kimberly carries in a bag of melodies and lyrics, Reid always has some really great musical ideas in his back pocket, and I bring in a sense of humor and some thread that ties it all together.

The new recordings caught the ears of Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen, the CEO and President of Republic Nashville, signing to the new label in the summer of 2009.

When talking about The Band Perry, each member of the trio stresses how much family figures into the mix: Reid, Neil and I share genes and a musical pedigree, Kimberly explains. We read the same classics and cook from the same recipes. With all of our likenesses though, I believe it's our distinctions that stir up the magic when we create. When the three of us sit down to write songs together, we pull from all of our individual perspectives and happenstances to create the most interesting song concoctions.

There's a tightness between the three of us that goes way beyond even best friends, Neil adds. Family vocal harmonies can't be fabricated. And, besides - the three of us know that through the thick and thin of life and the music business, we're watching after each other.

Blood runs thick. The music business can be hard, but the three of us are committed not only to our lives in music, but to living them together, Reid says. I think the security of knowing that about each other allows us to be uninhibited when we create. It's a democracy. It's a safe haven.

We've walked a long way to find your ears, Kimberly Perry finishes with a grin. So play us long and play us loud. The Band Perry is here, and we just have so darn much to say.

Falling Faster Than You Can Run

Well, it doesn't take long for Falling Faster Than You Can Run to reveal that Nathaniel Rateliff isn't in a very good place. His deep funk is revealed very quickly on the opening track 'Still Trying': "If you roll in it long enough/your shit won't even smell" sings Rateliff, in between crying out, unaccompanied, "I don't know/I don't know/a god damned thing".

And that's the feeling that sticks throughout this, often very fine, new record from Denver, Colorado's Missouri-born Rateliff. On his second full-length album (dropping the & the Wheel from his name) loneliness is writ large: not the kind of loneliness from actually being along, but the kind that comes from being constantly surrounded by people yet unable to shake the feeling of complete isolation. Rateliff has toured with many, many acts over the past few years and most recently has spent time with Dr Dog and fellow Denver act (and friends) The Lumineers. Thankfully, Rateliff rarely sounds like his friends (you might say I'm not a fan) and instead writes and plays music with a lot of heart and soul. It's often his voice that's the star of the show thanks to the subtly-arranged instrumentation: part matured Kurt Wagner burr and part throat-ravaged bluesman ( a bit The Tallest Man on Earth) it's a voice you could listen to all day. But good voice is nothing without good songs, and Rateliff comes with plenty of ammunition on Falling Faster Than You Can Run.

"Still Trying" is an arresting opener; while Rateliff's heart-wrenching roars are the highlight, the backing isn't too shabby either - acoustic guitar and bass drum battle for the spotlight on a ragged country song, and it sounds authentic, like Rateliff has lived what he's singing. And things get better quickly: "I Am" is mostly just Rateliff and his guitar, as broaches his isolation singing: "you'll never know what's buried there / less you dig around". The music swells as he sings the title over and over, following a similar pattern to the album opener. But before things get too familiar, Rateliff picks up the pace with a couple of full band numbers that could almost be considered jaunty, if we were to ignore the lyrics. "Don't Get Too Close" is fine enough and ticks over nicely like a quickstep, but "Laborman" is even better. Like Wilco at their poppiest, it flies off on crunchy and bright electric guitars which belies the lyrical content: "I got a feelin' / a sleepin' depression / that somebody's gonna get hurt", sings Rateliff, followed by "you got the harness/so where you gonna drag me now?" You can see a pattern developing here; Rateliff's stuck somewhere he doesn't want to be, lonely, but how does he get out of it? Take another look at that album cover too - a couple share a bed, an arm reaches out yet it doesn't touch the other person. It's basically a visual encapsulation of what's being sung about.

The epic electric storm of "Forgetting Is Believing" leads a trio of great closing tracks, ending with the Lambchop-murmur of the title track. Rateliff's baritone is exposed and dusty as he sings "leave me alone/you can see me fall/faster than you can run", ending as he started the record - alone and isolated.

Falling Faster Than You Can Run feels, through the dirt, the shit and the whisky, and despite the loneliness, like a hard-earned triumph for Nathaniel Rateliff.

"Roberts is carving out her own aesthetic space, startling in its originality and gripping in its historic and social power." - Peter Margasak

"Primarily interrogating her own sense of identity as an African American woman, Roberts calls upon numerous other voices - from her family's history, her culture's mythology - to create living artifacts of collective cultural memory: simultaneously disorienting and exhilarating in their chaotic multiplicity." - The Quietus

"Roberts is a major talent." - The Wire

Matana Roberts is one of the most acclaimed, socio-politically conscious and aesthetically intrepid composers, band leaders, horn players and experimental sound practitioners of the past decade. Her multi-chapter Coin Coin work, which Constellation began documenting in 2011, has placed her at the forefront of stylistic
innovation and radicalization, transcending jazz - or any other genre boundaries - while confirming the deep substance and soul that guides her compositional agenda. Following the critical accolades that the first two Coin Coin chapters have thus far received, the past year has been marked by further career-defining
recognition for her body of iconoclastic work: Roberts was a recipient of both the Herb Alpert Award in the Arts and the Doris Duke Impact Award in 2014.

Roberts has long employed the phrase "panoramic sound quilting" to describe the
process surrounding her Coin Coin work. The third chapter in her Coin Coin series
finds Roberts implementing this metaphor most explicitly, constructing a sound art
tapestry from field recordings, loop and effects pedals, and spoken word recitations,
alongside her saxophone and singing voices. Coin Coin Chapter Three: river run thee
could arguably be considered first and foremost a vocal work, and notwithstanding
its experimental and esoteric structure, a deeply narrative work as well. Not unlike
2013's Coin Coin Chapter Two: Mississippi Moonchile, the new chapter unfolds as an
uninterrupted album-length flow, this time in what Roberts calls "a fever dream" of
sonic material, woven in surrealist fashion. Fragments of traditional song act as the
main touchstones on the album, with Roberts' singing voice riding atop waves of
radiophonic texture, layered spoken word and an often dislocated, wandering horn

Working once again with engineer Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, and returning again to
Montreal's Hotel2Tango studio (the location for her Chapter One recording in 2010),
Roberts ran the river run thee tape back multiple times, adding new layers in real
time, from start to finish (as opposed to calculated, isolated overdubs). The result is
a visceral audio document that combines structure and improvisation in the fullest
sense: not just in the playing and performing, but in the very marrow of the work's
compositional DNA. It is also, for the first time in the Coin Coin cycle, a solo work,
emerging from a lengthy solitary road trip Roberts took through the American South
in early 2014, amassing historical and documentary information through interviews,
    site visits and field recordings.

Coin Coin Chapter Three: river run thee signals yet another highly adventurous and
socially engaged definition of what Jazz can mean in this day and age, and a
fascinating extension of the Coin Coin cycle, where rather than surfacing and
reactivating through the group dynamics of a musical ensemble, history is inhaled
and exhaled through a solitary practice seeking to evoke and echo its tangled
    thicket of febrile strands.

    On Stage

The album was recorded live over several German and Japanese dates in late 1976 during the Rising world tour. Many of the tracks were spliced together from different dates by producer Martin Birch, and the running order was changed to more easily fit four sides of vinyl. The recording features the customary introduction to a Rainbow show - the classic quote from the The Wizard of Oz, Toto: I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. We must be over the rainbow! with the last word repeated as an echo, then the actual band plays a musical phrase from the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow before breaking into Kill the King.

Hostage Calm confront the darker realities of a modern America as a means of survival.
In 2010, the critically acclaimed Connecticut band funneled their heroes' protest energy
into an optimistic hybrid of punk, pop and new wave, only to see rising hopes filtered
out through the uncertainty of the Great Recession on 2012's bruised Heartland rocker
Please Remain Calm. Die on Stage celebrates the subsequent post-millennial fatalism
permeating today's youth culture with timeless grandeur. It's not a political statement as
so much it is an honest portrait of growing up in America, embracing all that is fleeting while clutching what semblance of decaying dreams remain for a generation future

    Future Runs Magnetic

Limited Edition White Vinyl (1000 Pieces)

Gatefold Jacket Has Silver Foil Letter Pressed In

Drenik's sensitive vocals have faded into the background in deference to a tough, guitar heavy 70s attack not far at times
from Thin Lizzy or Blue Oyster Cult. That's immediately obvious when the first track, "Just Weight" opens on a wave of
guitar feedback before shifting to a majestic pop/rocker that doesn't overstay its welcome in about three and a half
    minutes. - American Songwriter

There aren't a lot of frills or gimmicks surrounding Battleme's second album future runs magnetic because, simply
put, the music speaks for itself. Bombastic, driving and powerful, the album is a timeless
collection of rock anthems. -The Deli

Matt Drenik's latest (and greatest) musical incarnation Battleme is hard to put in one box. He conjures up potent rock
songs dressed up with lush power chords and clean production. That super chunky rock sound along with a heavy,
heavy tone of dreaminess as in stepping into a dreamland makes me think of bands like Spacehog, Silverchair, Smashing Pumpkins, Wires On Fire and even Dream Theater. - American Pancake

    Last Night On Earth

"At times sounding like Hendrix operating a theremin, and elsewhere resembling the mournful cries of lonesome satellites."

    - Filter

"It's great to hear the third voice in Sonic Youth stretching out... a reminder of their irreplaceable magic."

    - Rolling Stone

Inspired by time spent trapped in his apartment during Hurricane Sandy last fall, Lee Ranaldo's new album with his band The Dust tackles themes of despair, rage and societal shift. The songs on the new album are darker, longer and more intense than those of its predecessor. In particular, the intertwining guitar play between Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Alan Licht (Love Child, Run On, acclaimed solo work) enlivens these beautiful, scary songs.

The Dust also features the incredible drumming of Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and bass work of Tim LÜntzel (who has worked with artists from Van Dyke Parks to Norah Jones). The rock-solid rhythm section grounds the exploratory, inviting music. "Every time I wait for the revolution to come," Ranaldo sings on "Home Chds." "Every night I think it's here and then it's gone."

"A solo record works best when you feel like you're opening a window into somebody's life, experiencing the things they're going through or thinking about, places they're seeing, through their eyes. At its best, you find a universality in it." - Lee Ranaldo

    World On Fire

WORLD ON FIRE is the new album from SLASH featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, and it comes on full throttle and in-your-face, a hunk of
burning rock 'n' roll that takes no prisoners. Intensifying the band's sound and vision, it marks the follow-up to their succesful and acclaimed 2012 debut,
Apocalyptic Love, also released on SLASH's own indie Dik Hayd International label distributed through Caroline.

"We've been playing together for awhile and I think it's gotten to the point where everybody's comfortable in our own skins," says Rock and Roll Hall of
Fame guitarist SLASH, who has amassed album sales of over 100 million copies, with seven GRAMMY nominations, a GRAMMY award and countless
accolades. "It turned out to be a very easy process. We definitely had chemistry from the very first time we entered a room together. It was instantaneous
    magic."

WORLD ON FIRE represents that chemistry, as SLASH, vocalist MYLES KENNEDY, bassist TODD KERNS and drummer BRENT FITZ blaze through 17
songs that run the gamut of topics, some derived from tour bus conversations between the singer and guitarist. These range from the pointed sexual
politics of "Battleground," "Dirty Girl" and "Stone Blind," the anti-war sentiments of "Dissident" and the coming-of-age saga "Bent to Fly," to such charged
issues as elephant poaching ("Beneath the Savage Sun"), child abuse in the Catholic Church ("The Unholy"), addiction ("Wicked Stone") and the perils
faced by females of a certain age in show business ("Withered Delilah"). There's also a song inspired by Mad Men's Don Draper ("Shadow Life") and a
    rockin' instrumental ("Safari Inn").

    Sourced from the Original Masters!

If ever there was a "band that launched a thousand bands," it would be the Ventures. Founded in Tacoma, WA in 1958, their guitar-based instrumental sound would prove hugely influential, inspiring countless followers to pick up a guitar, bass or set of drumsticks and try to emulate their heroes.

With over 100 million records sold, they are the best-selling instrumental group of all time!

Sundazed is proud to rightfully address the magnificent Ventures' catalog, each title has been sourced from the original Dolton and Liberty Records' reels and painstakingly mastered to sound and feel like they were originally intended. Along with precise artwork restoration on each vinyl LP title, these new Sundazed editions stand as the definitive re-releases of these monumentally important albums!

On Stage is a 1965 collection of live recordings from The Ventures which finds the band performing around the world in Japan, England and the U.S. Includes a killer medley of their greatest hits Walk, Don't Run/Perfidia/Lullaby Of The Leaves and a rousing rendition of Driving Guitars.
