Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice SoundtrackWaterTower Music announced the release of the soundtrack to the feature film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," a collaborative effort by film composers Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg). Available on Limited Edition 3-LP deluxe vinyl, the set features etched vinyl art and exclusive full sized poster.
"Junkie XL is an incredibly insightful film composer. It was a perfect idea for us to work together on the 'Batman v Superman' score," explained Academy-Award-winning composer Zimmer. Grammy nominee Junkie XL showed equal excitement at the pairing, saying, "Hans has an incredible legacy, and I was extremely thrilled when he approached me to work on 'Batman v Superman' with him."
The composers discussed their close working relationship with director Zack Snyder. "Zack allows us to try things we haven't tried before. He's very supportive of the eccentricities that we bring to this," says Zimmer. Junkie XL concurred. "He's very open and accepting of our ideas, and infuses the creative process with an energy that inspires you."
Hans and Tom (Junkie XL) created an incredibly compelling and interesting new musical world for Batman, while continuing to expand on the amazing world and themes Hans had previously created for Superman," noted director Zack Snyder. "By aligning their vision with my perspective and seeing the characters anew through the lens of the film they were able to support the visual aspects of movie in a way that elevates the film to another level. In so many ways, they become the final texture, the final note in the process of creating the world."
"This electrifying collaboration brings us such brilliant new character themes," commented WaterTower Music head Jason Linn, "While we've been fortunate to work several times with both composers individually, this experience has been uniquely thrilling."1. Beautiful Lie

Partyman is a song by Prince from his 1989 Batman album, and the follow-up to his number one hit, Batdance. The upbeat and humorous number features horn samples and Prince's sped-up Camille vocals, as well as a vocal performance by Anna Fantastic. The 12 single extends the song to about six minutes in length (labeled as the Video Mix), and also includes a Purple Party Mix, which starts with a string of samples from Prince's earlier hits and contains different lyrics. The movie hit of 2014, Interstellar, chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage. While the film is directed by acclaimed Christopher Nolan (Inception, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight ), the epic soundtrack score was composed by Nolan's longtime collaborator, Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
Zimmer and Nolan planned to move away from the Batman Trilogy's scores and to come up with a unique one. Before (re)writing a word of Interstellar, Nolan did something he had never done before, something that speaks to his desire for more emotionally potent work. He asked composer Hans Zimmer to write some music for the film, but without telling him about the genre, title, characters, or plot: I said, 'I am going to give you an envelope with a letter in it. One page. It's going to tell you the fable at the center of the story. You work for one day, then play me what you have written.' He was up for it. And it was perfect. He gave me the heart of the movie. Zimmer says he remembers this idea from Nolan's letter: Once we become parents, we can't help but look at ourselves through the eyes of our children.
Zimmer conducted 45 scoring sessions for Interstellar, which was three times more than for Inception. Interstellar's score has been nominated for the 2015 Oscars, BAFTA Awards, Golden Globes and the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.LP1

Batdance (Single)12 Maxi-Single Reissue
Featuring Batdance And 200 Balloons
Batdance was written for the 1989 Batman soundtrack. Helped by the film's popularity, the song reached number one in the US, becoming Prince's fourth American number-one single, and his first to achieve the feat of topping all 3 American charts since Kiss in 1986.
Batdance was a last-minute replacement for a brooding track titled Dance with the Devil, which Prince felt was too dark. It is almost two songs in one-a chaotic, mechanical dance beat that changes gears into a slinky, funky groove before changing back for the song's conclusion (except on the single version in which it eliminates the guitar solo before the middle section, then goes straight to the mechanical Joker laughter from the end of the movie and an earlier movie soundbyte of Michael Keaton saying Stop). The track is an amalgam of many musical ideas of Prince's at the time. Elements from at least seven songs (some unreleased) were incorporated into Batdance: 200 Balloons, We Got the Power, House in Order, Rave Unto the Joy Fantastic (later released on the album Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic), The Future, and Electric Chair. Some of these were mere snippets, and other segments showed up only in remixes of the track. The song was also loaded with dialog samples from the film.
The B-side to the Batdance is 200 Balloons, which was recorded for the film and serves as the musical blueprint for the main portion of Batdance. The song was rejected for the film by Tim Burton and replaced with Trust. The lyrics of 200 Balloons reference the scene which it was created for to a greater degree than the replacement track, which is only connected to the scene by the Joker asking Who do you trust? after the song ends. Prince did little more than replace the lyrics of 200 Balloons in its transition into Batdance. Only musical portions survived the transition, but full lyrics showed up in The Batmix(turn your head to the east, I be coming from the west). 200 Balloons also contains samples of House in Order and Rave Unto the Joy Fantastic; the latter was another song submitted for inclusion in the movie, but rejected (it was replaced by Partyman).1. ADAD-TEN-3934xWillis Earl Beal
NoctunesWillis Earl Beal was born on the South Side of Chicago. He would never consider it home. An odd kid, he spent a lot of his youth talking with his grandmother, who would entertain his endless questions about the universe and encourage his love of drawing. He developed an obsession with Batman that would last well into his teenage years, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a form of vigilante training. Willis Earl Beal died on an army base in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. While in boot camp he was plagued with physical and mental abuse, health complications (which would later require surgery and the removal of large portions of his intestine) forced his discharge. He moved back home. "When that all broke down," Beal says. "I lost a piece of myself." Willis Earl Beal was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After a stint of homelessness there, he worked odd jobs and rented a studio apartment. Though he'd never learned to play any instruments, he began to record raw, lo-fi albums with hand-drawn covers that he'd leave at coffee shops around town alongside flyers seeking a girlfriend with his phone number written on them. Those artifacts would eventually find their way to the cover of Found magazine, then to Jamie-James Medina at XL Recordings. Beal signed with XL's Hot Charity imprint in 2012. Willis Earl Beal died in New York City. Despite the release of two critically well-received albums on XL-Acousmatic Sorcery, a collection of his early home recordings, and a fully orchestrated studio album he recorded in Amsterdam called Nobody Knows-he was a mess. "I'd drink myself into stupors," he says. "I'd walk around in the daytime, crying, then I'd go downtown. The police would bring me home in the morning." Willis Earl Beal was born on a lake twenty miles outside Olympia, Washington. After ending his contract with XL, Beal went to live in the woods, and began an artistic transformation entirely of his own design, from rough-edged outsider-art provocateur to the kind of mysterious crooner one might expect to haunt the outskirts of Twin Peaks. "People had all these ideas about what I was supposed to be," he says. "I had only ever wanted to make lullabies." Beal's development played out over two self-released EPs and a full-length album, and then Beal built the patient, ambient-leaning Noctunes. The album's twelve songs are moving and meditative, thoroughly soaked with mournful synth strings and simple lyricism that Beal says is intentionally minimalistic. "I wanted to create this persona that could say everything perfectly with very little," Beal says. "The record, to me, is a perfect record. I listen to that thing a lot, and it helps me." Willis Earl Beal has yet to be born. Critics and publicists defined him before he'd had a chance to define himself. Their expectations were inextricably linked with race and gender, two concepts Beal thoroughly rejects. Now, two extremely productive years removed from the spotlight, Beal doesn't feel pressure to define himself against anything. His new music is shockingly original, utterly confident, and as ephemeral as Beal himself. He levitates above definition, concerned only with self-discovery and truth-seeking. "I know it sounds falsely altruistic," he says. "But I think a simple voice like mine can serve as an example of some kind of freedom."1. Under You

Lee Hazlewoodism: Its Cause and CureThe second of his MGM trilogy-1967's peculiarly named Lee Hazlewoodism: Its Cause And Cure-took on countrified French ye-ye ("The Girls In Paris"), a tale of a young bullfighter built on Spanish guitar and choral cowboys ("Jose"), a string-drenched song about the passing of time ("The Old Man And His Guitar"), and a western epic about a Native American tribe ("The Nights"). And that was just the first four tracks. Elsewhere, the honky tonk madness of "Suzi Jane Is Back In Town," the Byrds-like jangle of "In Our Time" and-in the bonus tracks-an instrumental named "Batman" confirm this to be one of Hazlewood's most far-ranging, far-out LPs ever!1. One Of 2017's Biggest Blockbuster Films
Fifty Shades Darker is a 2017 American erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on the novel of the same name by E. L. James. The second film in the Fifty Shades film series, it is the sequel to the 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey.
The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively, with Eric Johnson, Eloise Mumford, Bella Heathcote, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Kim Basinger and Marcia Gay Harden in supporting roles.
The film is one of 2017's biggest films and has grossed almost $ 400 million worldwide.
Danny Elfman wrote and composed the score for Fifty Shades Darker. Elfman is best known for his work scoring films and television shows, in particular, his frequent collaborations with director Tim Burton. Among his honors are four Academy Award nominations, a Grammy for Batman, an Emmy for Desperate Housewives, the 2002 Richard Kirk Award, and the Disney Legend Award.
Danny never disappoints his fans and the music for this one is no exception. The music transports you to another world and puts you back in the emotions of different scenes, a perfect contribution of the darkness that shadows over the beauty and romance of the film. When you're a fan of the Fifty Shades Darker series this is a definite must-have for your collection.
The first pressing of Fifty Shades Darker is limited to 1.000 individually numbered copies on Dark Grey colored vinyl and contains an exclusive 8-page booklet with pictures and liner notes.1. Nightmare

About Pure Pleasure
At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Pure Pleasure all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.
During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existent tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.
A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.
We should like to emphasize that Pure Pleasure Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle.
We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.
To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.
