Beatles Hard Days Night'
A Hard Days Night (Awaiting Repress)Ranked 388/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Pressed on 180g Vinyl
Cut from the original master tapes at Abbey Road Studios!
And for the first time, the North American LP debut in stereo
A Hard Days Night is the 3rd studio album from The Beatles and was accompanied by a film of the same name. This album really showcases the bands Rock and Roll instrumentation and song structure and also spawned some of their most famous songs, A Hard Days Night, with its pulse pounding and recognizable opening chord, to the previously released "Can't Buy Me Love" .
The album is a landmark for the band seeing as how it is the first Beatles record to feature all original songs, some of which ended up on the movie of the same name. With Lennon handling most of the songwriting doing a total of ten out of the thirteen tracks, this is also one of 3 albums to not feature a Ringo Lead song. The album is also considered as opening up the flood gates for more British rockers like the Rolling Stones and The Kinks to sweep there way to the U.S.
A team consisting of some of the best producers and engineers in the recording industry were brought together and would spend 4 long years mixing and mastering with some of the most state of the art recording equipment. Treating these records much like a science experiment, engineers ran extensive tests before copying the analog master tapes over into a digital format using 24-bit/192 kHz resolution, and carefully removing clicks, vocal pops and poor edits. Never altering the original songs themselves, just polishing them up a bit.1. A Hard Day's Night

We're All Young TogetherNot wasting much time since The Walkmen announced their hiatus (and then reneged that announcement for a night), the band's multi-instrumentalist and co-writer Walter Martin has revealed details of his debut solo outing. Entitled We're All Young Together, the record is due out in 2014 from Family Jukebox.
The label name is especially apt as the spark for the album came when Martin's wife was pregnant with their first child. "It wasn't that I wanted to write songs to suit my new situation as a parent," Martin said in a press release. "It was more parenthood made relevant writing the kind of songs I've always loved most." He continued, "I began to imagine a record I really wanted to hear: something new and original that captured the essence of early rock 'n' roll - innocent but mischievous, romantic but funny, and unabashedly sweet."
Martin brought in the help of some big name friends for the record, including Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O and Nick Zinner, The National's Matt Berninger, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's Alec Ounsworth, and - proving that their are no hard feelings - The Walkmen's own Hamilton Leithuaser and Matt Barrick.
Subject matter ranges from sibling similarities ("Hey Sister") to a treatise on the difference amongst The Beatles ("The Beatles (When Ringo Shook His Mop)"). Our first taste of the record, however, comes in the form of the acoustic lullaby "Sing To Me", featuring Karen O.

Live From Austin, TX (Buck Owens)Maybe it was an epiphany of sorts. As Buck tells it, One day I was watching Austin City Limits and Dwight Yoakam was on, then he dedicates the program to 'Buck Owens.' So I said, I'm going to see what this kid is like. It wasn't long after that he was on stage with Dwight singing his old hits. Buck was bitten by the bug to return to music, after calling it quits almost ten years earlier. This man from Sherman, Texas - probably best-known as the wide-grinning rube on Hee Haw for so many years - started a country music revolution. Or more accurately, a counter-revolution. It was called The Bakersfield Sound. He and fellow revolutionary Merle Haggard were cranking out raw, hard-driving honky-tonk music that stood the country-pop coming out of Nashville on its head. When Buck Owens and the Buckaroos would launch into I've got a tiger by the tail, it's plain to see....! the packed crowds would be on their feet and headed for the dance floor. Along the way Buck inspired none other than The Beatles to record their first country song, his classic Act Naturally, and the master of soul, Ray Charles, to immortalize one of the best-known country songs ever, Crying Time. Buck always loved his home state, and once flew to Austin on his private jet to make a surprise visit to a club that celebrated a Buck Owens Birthday night every year. He was also one of the few artists to ever write a handwritten note thanking us for inviting him on the show. Many thanks, he wrote, it is very representative of what I am all about. In my mind, Buck Owens will always be a rock star.

LiveSundazed Music is proud to present a genuine psychedelic landmark: Live by Moby Grape, the first official collection of concert recordings by the legendary San Francisco band at its blazing late-Sixties peak. At that time, in rock's hippest city, there was no other band like the original Grape: Jerry Miller, Skip Spence, Bob Mosley, Peter Lewis and Don Stevenson. Their Columbia debut LP, Moby Grape, issued in June 1967, is still acclaimed as one of the greatest rock albums evera thrilling union of blues, soul, country, surf twang and day-glo garage rock, packed into original killer-pop songwriting. Even as extreme Columbia hype, devastating business hassles and Spence's tragic mental collapse threatened to blow up the band, the Grape continued to make immortal albums, including 1968's Wow and the magnificent Moby Grape '69.
But the records told only half of the tale. Moby Grape, in their prime, were also one of the Bay Area'sand America'sbest stage bands, like the Beatles and Rolling Stones in one, with a breathtaking triple-guitar attack and stunning vocal harmonies.
Live is the long-awaited proof. It features more than an hour of dynamite performances from soundboard and broadcast tapes, including tracks from the Avalon Ballroom in 1967 and the band's complete long-lost set at the Monterey Pop Festival, just a week after Moby Grape came out. There are live versions of the great rare Grape songs Rounder and Looper and five tracks from a famous Dutch radio show featuring the hard-charging '69 lineup of Miller, Mosley, Lewis and Stevenson.
And Live climaxes with the historic first-ever release of Spence's acid-guitar masterpiece Dark Magicnever recorded in the studio by the original band but presented here in an epic 17-minute performance at the Avalon, on New Year's Eve 1966. Moby Grape were the hottest band in town that night, with the whole rock & roll world ahead of them. And they sound like it. These four-decade-old recordings have been spectacularly mastered, in you-are-there fidelity, and this album comes with sumptuous packaging and rare photos, in true Sundazed style, plus liner notes by Rolling Stone writer and Moby Grape authority David Fricke. Live presents, at last, the untold part of Moby Grape's incredible story. It is San Francisco psychedelia at its zenith and the best historical rock release of the year.1. Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path (Awaiting Repress)6LP Picture Disc Box Set
Grammy-winning, multi-platinum selling and legendary rock band Soundgarden, have announced the vinyl release of their highly acclaimed rarities collection, Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path. Hard on the heels of the 20th anniversary deluxe re-release of their chart-topping, five-times-platinum 1994 album, Superunknown early last year, the new vinyl package, first released as a 3-CD collection and as a 14-track single CD last November, will feature the three album thematic collection on six LPs with three separate jackets, each sporting its own unique art and housed in a slipcase wrapped in foil paper designed by Josh Graham.
The collection was curated and hand-selected by guitarist Kim Thayil. Echo Of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path is the first time an official Soundgarden release has included more than 26 years of rarities that have appeared as B-sides, album bonus tracks, EPs, soundtracks, compilations and live recordings, a must for any fan of the band.
LP 1 & 2, dubbed "ORIGINALS," is filled with Soundgarden-written songs, mainly B-sides along with some soundtrack and compilation selections in addition to two unreleased songs on vinyl which go back as far as "Sub Pop Rock City," originally included as part of the 1988 compilation, Sub Pop 200. The two unreleased tracks on this disc are "Kristi," a 1996 outtake from the Down on the Upside sessions which is reportedly drummer Matt Cameron's favorite Soundgarden song, and "Storm," a brand-new track recorded in early 2014.
LP 3 & 4, "COVERS," offers a stellar showcase of songs from bands who Soundgarden love and admire, from classic rockers The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, The Doors, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix and Sly and the Family Stone to punk pioneers The Stooges, the Ramones, Fear and DEVO. Showing their sense of humor, Soundgarden also cover songs by Spinal Tap and Cheech & Chong. The two unreleased tracks include the Beatles' "Everybody's Got Something to Hide " and the Sly Stone track "Thank You ", both of which were originally recorded for a BBC Radio 1 John Peel session in 1989.
LP 5 & 6, "ODDITIES," offers a wide-ranging combination of instrumentals, remixes and demos. The unreleased tracks on vinyl include "Twin Tower," penned by Matt Cameron, which was originally recorded at Seattle's London Bridge studio in December 1988 during the sessions for Louder Than Love. "Night Surf" is an instrumental performed by bassist Ben Shepherd which the band used to open their 1994 tour in conjunction with an introductory film which screened before they took the stage. Steve Fisk's new remix of "The Telephantasm (Resurrection Remix)," a song originally released for 2011 Record Store Day, has also never been available on vinyl before.LP 1 - ORIGINALS
