    Brothers And Sisters

Brothers and Sisters on Numbered Limited Edition 180 Gram LP from Mobile Fidelity

1973 Affair Introduces Southern Rock to Popular Parlance

Unrivaled Sonics: Mastered from the Original Master Tapes, Mobile Fidelity Edition Provides Window Into What Transpired in Macon Studios

Dickey Betts Leads Group Through Mellower Country Rock, Pairs With Pianist Chuck Leavell

Chart-Topping Album Includes Smash "Ramblin' Man" and Favorites "Jessica" and "Southbound"

Brothers and Sisters is significant for myriad reasons. It's the first album the Allman Brothers Band made in its entirety after Duane Allman's death. It also came after bassist Berry Oakley's spookily similar passing, yet he appears on two of the songs. The 1973 set also marks the emergence of guitarist Dickey Betts as the collective's leader. And pianist Chuck Leavell's arrival. But for than anything else, the record remains noteworthy for its incredible soulfulness and completeness.

Mastered from the original master tapes and pressed on dead-quiet vinyl RTI, Mobile Fidelity's 180 gram LP of Brothers and Sisters joins the unparalleled reissue imprint's other Allman titles in presenting the superlative ensemble's work in the most lifelike, uncompromised fidelity possible. Whether it's the feather-light harmonic layering of the collective's background vocals, echoing cavity of Leavell's gospel-tinted piano, skin-against-skin smack of Jaimoe's congas, or sweet dobro lines laid down by Betts, this version betters all previous pressings by bringing you, the listener, as close to the studio as any record feasibly can.

Having stayed at the top of the Billboard charts for five consecutive weeks, Brothers and Sisters constitutes the Allman Brothers Band's biggest commercial triumph. Given the circumstances surrounding its creation, such an accomplishment hardly seemed possible. Fresh from licking their wounds over Duane's tragic motorcycle accident, the group experienced dÉjà vu when Oakley met the same fate just blocks away from where his mate was killed. Rather than collapse, the Allman Brothers Band tightened up and mellowed out, inviting Leavell to join instead of recruiting another guitarist.

What the sextet gets in return for its troubles is music that marks the concrete beginnings of a form that soon become known as Southern rock. Leavell and Betts exchange notes as if the pair has been trading ideas since they were children. Slide guitars still tread over greasy grooves, yet the Allman Brothers Band digs deeper into country dirt, parlaying a twang anchored by Betts' picking and abetted by Gregg's organic, shot-of-blues vocals. The laidback vibe manifests on the signature "Ramblin' Man," a hit evocative of the record's breezy melodies and friendly interplay.

The cover art further reveals the Allman Brothers Band's mindset. Golden, tranquil, idyllic, Southern, loving: It's a paradise-longing view that would soon come crashing down in the group's lives but one that, for the duration and existence of Brothers and Sisters, remains gloriously undisturbed.

Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son

Damien is out of his goddamn mind.

This isn't a recent development, but it's an important aspect of his work that often goes ignored. In place of
this key element is the idea that his music is a sober and in-depth excavation of the American landscape and
rural psyche. Well, folks,I'm sorry, but it's not.

Damien Jurado is every character in every Damien Jurado song. He is the gun,the purple anteater, the paper
wings, the avalanche, the airshow disaster, Ohio, the ghost of his best friend's wife. It is a universe unto its
own, with it's own symbolism, creation myth, and liturgy. You might go as far as to call it a religion, and your
religion is a character in his religion.

Level with me. You're reading this because of Damien Jurado's new album,Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal
Son (produced by Richard Swift). You are a progressive minded, left-leaning person who in parlor-style
conversation regarding the globo-political ramifications of Sky Person relationships laughs knowingly so as
not to be judgmental and very reasonably concedes "Well, I don't believe He's some old man with a beard
sitting up in the clouds" at which point everyone agrees on [insert benign middle-ground] and moves on.

Consider this:What if the only way to understand a religion is to create your own?

Who is this Silver community? Where the hell are they in the Bible? Is this heresy? Agnostic reference? Isn't
this sun business a little, I don't know, animistic? Pagan? Go ahead and answer that question for yourself. I'll
    give you a second.

Do you understand the music any better?

You know that adage we all use so we have something to say while we shrug our shoulders? "People change"?
That one. Is that applicable to Jesus Christ? Maybe he's been on a personal journey of discovery since he
ascended. He went through the 60's, 70's,he turned on,tuned out, got disillusioned. Why can't we talk about
that Jesus? Does it have to be the old-timey one all the time? American folk Jesus, ugh. The one who's always
winning Best Soundtrack Oscars for people. Rarely do stories of faith make us identify with Jesus. It's
Abraham, Satan, Silver Timothy, Salome, Dr.J, Saul of Tarsus; divinely imperfect brothers and sisters who give
    Gawd something to do.

Damien Jurado made up his own Jesus because a Damien Jurado album needs a beautiful Jesus. Some freaky
space Jesus that I don't recognize. The name is the same, a lot of the imagery is the same, but he's reborn.
Born again,I mean. Yeah, as if Jesus got born again. That's what this album sounds like.

Jesus is out of his goddamn mind and I want to live in Damien's America.

    Sign me up.

No Allman Brothers Band fan should pass up Wipe the Windows, which is a most solid live album, and, in particular, a better representation of the songs off of Brothers and Sisters and Win, Lose or Draw than the original studio versions. Chaos Sound

Hardcore-punk institution THE CASUALTIES return to their roots with the new, aptly-titled album 'Chaos Sound'. 'Chaos Sound' brings fifteen blistering blasts of raw, DISCHARGE/EXPLOITED/GBH-inspired street punk that is these veteran's calling card. Chainsaw guitars grind, ragged vocals scream, and gang vocals explode like bombs throughout the bands most impressive, and frantic, material to date. Tracks such as "Running Through the Night", "Murder Us All", "Brothers and Sisters" and the vicious title track underscore that THE CASUALTIES fury and flame burns hotter and brighter than ever before.

The group's follow-up to their comeback album is a major step forward, with more mature songs, more improvisation than the group had featured in their work since the early 1970s, and more confidence than they'd shown since Brothers and Sisters. It's all here, from acoustic bottleneck playing (Come On In My Kitchen) to jazz improvisation (Kind of Bird), with the most reflective songwriting (Nobody Knows) in their history.

2-LP Gatefold Package Featuring 3 Additional Tracks

" a sweet and savory blend to warm the soul." - MOJO

"Brother Angus' acoustic guitar wraps sister Julia's whispery trill with an unhurried,
disarmingly simple melody that will propel you off the couch and into the sun."
    - Marie Claire "Need To Download"

"If A Book Like This compounded the prospects of their future, consider Down The Way
the fulfilling realization of all expectations." - Filter

" the musical equivalent of a walk on the beach at twilight." - Nylon

"The pair melt in to one another to create a spectral and lush backdrop" - Clash Magazine (UK)

"Very possibly the worlds' favourite Australian indie-folk brother and sister duo"
    - Evening Standard (London UK)

Australian brother/sister duo, Angus & Julia Stone's sophomore album Down The Way was released to critical
acclaim, charted at #1 in Australia, and features the stand-out track "Big Jet Plane."

Originally available on vinyl only in limited quantities in North America, the 2-LP Gatefold package featuring 3
additional tracks is being reissued timed with the duo's 2014 album release and October tour.

Down The Way highlights the endless talents of this brother and sister as musicians, songwriters and producers.
The self-produced album was recorded between England, New York and Australia--from an old sawmill on the
riverbanks of Fowey, Cornwall to a studio in Brooklyn, to a water tank in Coolangatta to the streets of London and
back to Queens. Down The Way is comprised of tracks that sail across the different realms of musical themes,

"Damien Jurado is every character in every Damien Jurado song. He is the gun, the purple anteater, the

    - Father John Misty

Providing the ideal entry point for neophytes and an intoxicating aural high for the faithful, Damien
Jurado's new opus extends the hot streak ignited by 2012's Maraqopa and its 2014 follow-up Brothers and
Sisters of the Eternal Son. Cut once again with label-mate and super producer Richard Swift at the latter's
National Freedom recording facility in rural Oregon, Visions of Us On The Land completes the tale of an

    Hit Factory

I like the idea of making hits for yourself. Songs that are a hit to you, or something you create that you can enjoy for years. Something with longevity. That's what a hit is to nme. Longevity to me and my ears, so that I can present my aesthetic to others. I consider it so many things, but one of them is a responsibility. A responsibility to attempt resonance with my brothers and sisters. What if you made a song of your own that you liked so much that it made you sing along to it like in Risky Business? That's what I'm going for. Also, I believe that the true beauty lies in the imperfections rather than perfection. We'll see how these hold up over time. Enjoy.

    Eat A Peach

    Remastered From Original Analog Tapes

Cut On Copper Plates Using Abbey Road Mastering's Direct DMM Lathe

    Faithfully Restored Artwork

Eat A Peach is the third studio album from the Allman Brothers and was originally released in February of 1972. It
has been remastered from original analog tapes by Keven Reeves (Brothers And Sisters, The 1971 Fillmore East
Recordings) to 192kHz 24-bit audio and then cut on copper plates using Abbey Road Mastering's Direct Metal
Mastering (DMM) lathe. This title is being issued on 180g, heavy weight vinyl. The original artwork has been
    faithfully reproduced as well.

Having firmly established themselves as The Grateful Dead of the South via their enormously successful 1971 Live at the Fillmore East double album, the Allman Brothers had just begun work on a new studio collection when slide guitarist Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident. Undaunted, the group rallied together and completed Eat a Peach, which, via inclusion of the 34-minute-plus Mountain Jam, blossomed into a double LP. While keyboardist-singer Gregg Allman shone on tracks like Sonny Boy Williamson's One Way Out and his own Melissa, it was second guitarist Dickey Betts who came out from under the departed Allman's shadow with his lead vocal on Blue Sky and his incendiary playing throughout. -Billy Altman

    Live At Ludlow Garage 1970

    Remastered From Original Analog Tapes

Cut On Copper Plates Using Abbey Road Mastering's Direct DMM Lathe

A live recording from Ludlow Garage, a Cincinnati based venue, originally released in April of 1990. This album
features the longest recorded version of "Mountain Jam" and at that time, a previously unreleased rendition of "In
Memory Of Elizabeth Reed." It has been remastered from original analog tapes by Keven Reeves (Brothers And
Sisters, The 1971 Fillmore East Recordings) to 192kHz 24-bit audio & then cut on copper plates using Abbey Road
Mastering's Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) lathe. 180g.

This three-LP set is a worthy companion to that 1971 classic, Fillmore East. Recorded the previous year at the famed Cincinnati venue (but not released until 1991), Ludlow catches the band in the moments just before their peak. Some of the material will be familiar to fans, but this collection adds gems such as John Lee Hooker's Dimples and the blues classic I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town to their recorded repertoire. -Marc Greilsamer

    Just Because

ATO Records has signed The Belle Brigade and will release the band's
new album, Just Because, in 2014. Barbara and Ethan Gruska -
the Los Angeles-based siblings who founded the band - recorded the album with engineer/co-producer Shawn Everett. Bram Inscore and Blake Mills,
who also performed on The Belle Brigade's debut album, joined them in the studio and they once again enlisted the mastering talents of the legendary
    Bob Ludwig.

The Belle Brigade's self-titled debut (co-produced with Matthew Wilder) was hailed as one of the best albums of 2011 by PASTE. Ann Powers, writing for
the Los Angeles Times, took note of the memorable voices and considerable charisma within songs that gleam with hooks and pour over with earnest
emotion" while Newsday praised the album's "sun-kissed '70s SoCal sound" and SPIN observed, "The brother and sister team from LA, bring beautiful
harmonies to their quirky folk rock."

The two gifted songwriters - who find inspiration in the works of Peter Gabriel, John Lennon, The Beach Boys, Sly Stone, Harry Nilsson, to name a few -
penned 10 songs for Just Because, writing some together and others independently. The music is artfully arranged, with enticing melodies and pop
harmonies, fueled by the interplay of driving rhythms between Barbara's drums and Ethan's guitars. Ethan has recorded as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist
for many Los Angeles-based artists and Barbara is a sought-after drummer who has played with Fiona Apple, Jenny Lewis, Benji Hughes
    and many others.

    Thin Walls

The world is growing ever smaller. There are less places to hide and less space to think. Nothing is private. It's a notion that Belgian quintet Balthazar felt keenly as they traversed the world touring their 2012 album Rats. It was an intense period where they clocked up the sort of hard road mileage that can make or break a band but Balthazar's two songwriters, Maarten Devoldere and Jinte Deprez, emerged emboldened. As Jinte explains, we know each other's darkest secrets now. We grew together. You live together as each other's brother and sister. We discovered we really like each other.

Lives lived in each other's pockets has left its mark on Thin Walls, the stunning new album from the five-piece who are completed by Patricia Vanneste, Simon Casier and Michiel Balcaen. Thin Walls is all about touring and never having any privacy, says Jinte. The songs were written in a hazy hyperactive state between shows. Balthazar's previous two albums, 2010's Applause and the calculated, searing alt-rock of 2012's Rats, were created in a slow, considered manner back home. This time round, the band had to fit in writing sessions whenever they had a spare day off. When you're on tour, the mood is very restless and chaotic, says Maarten. Life on tour is kind of weird, everything is prepared for you and you drink way too much. If you write with a hangover, then you write differently...

    The McGarrigle Hour

Kate and Anna McGarrigle are Canadian songwriting sisters whose talents came to global recognition in 1974 when Linda Ronstadt recorded Annas Heart Like a Wheel. The McGarrigle sisters were signed to Warner Brothers and recorded three albums. The sisters then recorded two albums for Joe Boyds label, Hannibal, in the early 80s. During this time Kate and Anna raised families and toured on occasion. In 1998 the sisters rejoined Joe Boyd along with family and friends to record, The McGarrigle Hour.

Ryko, which became home to Hannibal in the early 90s, celebrates The McGarrigle Hour as part of the Ryko Analogue Vinyl Series. Ryko Analogue is committed to releasing classic albums, cult favorites, and audiophile titles on vinyl. The LP package for The McGarrigle Hour includes a set of liner notes from album producer, Joe Boyd, that he penned especially for this LP release.

The Piano Scene Of Ahamd Jamal (Speaker Corner)

The early recordings made by Ahmad Jamal for the Epic label have disappeared into the annals of jazz history. His trio with bass and drums, however, was certainly a whole lot more famous in clubs, at festivals and in TV shows in the Fifties. The present LP contains twelve numbers performed by a trio composed of a guitar and bass or drums - Ray Crawford, Eddie Calhoun, Walter Perkins only being known to a handful of jazz fans - and only a few compositions of his own, most titles are favourites from musicals of the day. Ahmad Jamal reveals the influence of Art Tatum and Nat King Cole in his performance, whereby his masterly art and independent style is already recognizable. The trios are quite unique in themselves, although the hierarchy is unchangeable: Ahmad Jamal is and remains the boss; he performs the majority of the solos.

A special highlight is surely the first version of Billy Boy. And not only Miles Davis praised the pianist for his technical prowess and wealth of ideas. Aki And Ukthay (Brother and Sister) also offers the possibility to admire Jamal's pianistic proficiency. What a good idea to bring out these early recordings once more for jazz lovers! Especially because the Epic label is truly underestimated in the record market. The recording quality is absolutely impeccable - a true listener's gem.

    Musicians:

    • Ahmad Jamal (piano)

    • Ray Crawford (guitar)

    • Eddie Calhoun (bass)

    • Walter Perkins (drums)

    Recording: 1951 and 1955

    About Speakers Corner

At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Speakers Corner all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.

During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existant tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.

A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.

We should like to emphasise that Speakers Corner Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle. We have one digital recording in our catalogue (Alan Parsons / Eye In The Sky"), but even in this particular case we used the analogue tapes for cutting.

We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.

To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects - excluding the exception above - and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.

    Ilevitable

Ileana Cabra, a/k/a PG-13, the fierce femme vocalist of Puerto Rico's world-renown alternative hiphop/rock/reggaetón band Calle 13, joined the band when she was only 16, but she was already an old soul. "When we did our first concert in Puerto Rico," said ILe, "I sang a solo version of La Lupe's song 'Puro Teatro.' It was kind of a moment of transition for me." It may not have seemed that way at the time, but her debut nostalgia-soaked collection of alternative ballads Ilevitable, was inevitable.

ILe, who began her association with Calle 13 by jumping into a verbal sparring match with her brother RenÉ (Residente) on the band's first single, "La Aguacatona," has been levitating across stages with the band for over a decade. But with Ilevitable, a 12-song collection of meticulously produced boleros, waltzes, mambos, pop-rock ballads, and even a bugalú, ILe has created an instant classic that reveals a thoughtful and innovative artistry for the first time. The album's first single, "Caníbal," is a fitting example of ILe's eclectic tastes and ability to combine an older, more romantic point of view with the darkness of the new millennium. Its melancholy guitar riffs and 60's girl group piano chords-played by Eduardo Cabra (Visitante)--immediately draw the listener into ILe's unique sensibility. The song's lyrics, climaxed by syrupy-scary violins, describe someone who is consuming herself with doubt and regret.

Recorded over several months in local Puerto Rican studios, Ilevitable features upwards of 75 musicians, composers, and arrangers including ILe's brother Eduardo, her sister Milena, her father Joey Cabra, and her romantic partner Ismael Cancel, her co-producer, who is also a drummer-percussionist for Calle 13. "We're all connected," said RenÉ. "We constantly stimulate each other. Ileana grew up in that artistic atmosphere that's why she matured so quickly."

    Hard Times Are Relative

Our favorite songs are like one-night stands: passionate or sad, capable of recalling moments with Proustian power. Our favorite artists are lifelong companions: fixtures we turn to for comfort and highs.

Over the last two decades, Jason Boland and the Stragglers have delivered and become both.

"We've always just wanted to entertain ourselves and put out music that would be a part of people's lives, not just something passing to them," says Boland. "We want to be something more monolithic." He pauses and grins as he adds, "We're just a social experiment at this point."

Boland is talking about the deep body of work he's created with his band of jangly honky-tonk aces, the Stragglers--Grant Tracy on bass; drummer and background vocalist Brad Rice; Nick Worley on fiddle, mandolin, and harmonies; and Cody Angel on guitar and pedal steel. Fronted and co-founded by Boland with Tracy and Rice, the band has featured only a handful of other members over the last 20 years, all of whom--whether they're currently Stragglers or not--are like brothers. As they've independently sold more than half a million albums, the outfit has packed iconic dancehalls, theaters, and other big rooms across the country.

With their new record Hard Times are Relative, Boland and the Stragglers stack the smart, road-ready outlaw country longtime fans have come to expect alongside creative risks that flirt with punk and psychedelic sounds. The 10-song collection is a rare blend of instantly gratifying and rewarding of closer listens--a definitively Stragglers accomplishment. "It's an upbeat album--a lot of fast songs, but it doesn't try to be fast," Boland says with characteristic insight. "It just sits in the pocket."

No one has combined Woody Guthrie's conscience with Waylon Jenning's panache quite like Boland and the Stragglers. Since debuting in 1999 with the Lloyd Maines-produced Pearl Snaps, the band has matured without taming their refreshing irreverence. "We always joke that we try to take as much as we can from Lloyd and apply it to producing our own records," Boland says. "We've worked with him so many times. The most obvious thing he taught us is: just be musical. Don't hammer through the songs like a garage band all the time."

That mix of subtle musical sophistication and unruly Oklahoma junkyard pedigree has resulted in some of the best independent honky tonk in recent memory. "You just have to be where you are--keep plugging away and doing the best you can at any moment," Boland says, reflecting on their career thus far. "For a bunch of slackers [like us], that's not too terribly tough."

Co-produced by the Stragglers, David Percefull, and Adam Odor, Hard Times are Relative is the band's ninth studio record. All songs were recorded live to tape and without the use of any computers--now a Stragglers' hallmark. Upbeat steel guitar kicks off album opener "I Don't Deserve You" before Boland's signature baritone thunders in, smooth and stronger than ever. When fellow sly honky-tonk champ Sunny Sweeney joins him in out-front harmonies, the two become the rootsy dream team you never knew you always wanted.

The album's title track is a masterpiece: an epic story song about a young orphaned brother and sister depending on the land and one another. Rich details layered over strings paint a scene that's compelling and lush. The song has become one of Boland's favorites. "Folk music is hard to write. Country music is hard to write," he says, reflecting on the difficulty of spinning a long tale while keeping it simple and engaging. "When you hit your own little tuning fork in your head, that one is a hard sell, even to me. But I enjoy that song."

"Right Where I Began" sounds like vintage Stragglers: clever wordplay and muscly guitars ready for two-steppers. Fiddle and vocal showcase "Searching for You" shows off Rice's and Worley's harmonies that are downright divine. Crunchy guitars drive "Dee Dee OD'd" as Boland offers another round of wry observations. Easy gem "Going Going Gone" makes a solid argument for fiddle in rock-and-roll as Boland deftly turns a baseball metaphor into a classic leaving song.

Gorgeous waltz "Do You Remember When" bemoans some of modern life's emphasis on disposability and the dismissal of heritage. Rollicking "Tattoo of a Bruise" picks up the same idea, and is tongue-in-cheek country doo-wop, fueled by fiddle, steel, and drums. "I'm not judging anybody," Boland clarifies. "Our music has always called it like we see it, right or wrong, smarter or dumber."

Praise for the past but acknowledgement of nostalgia's limitations is a career-long theme for Boland, and one that this record continues to carry. "We don't want to lose the chili recipes and the Schroeder Halls because people are moving on to faster, louder, and newer," he says. "But instead of just hemming and hawing, remembering what's old and gone, we want to have new experiences within those frameworks--make memories with what's left of the good stuff."

With lines like "Empty pockets don't mean you need money / It's just another place to put your hands / And focus on that rock you've been kicking / One day it's going to be a grain of sand," "Predestined" challenges listeners as it soothes. The song is a lyrical victory for Boland, who's long-since become a master of distilling heady ideas into digestible nuggets.

Penned by Oklahoma music godfather Randy Crouch, "Grandfather's Theme" serves as the album's climactic closer. Attacked with psychedelic ferocity by the band, the song picks up the record's recurring concepts of the ground's insistence on shifting, inevitability, and our complex relationship with the past. Stripped down as Boland sings, the song soars off into a trippy, robust jam-band send-off--a serious triumph especially considering it's a defiantly analog recording. "We're fighting the digital world because they can make it so huge," Boland says, discussing the balancing act of filling out songs while letting them breathe. "I'm really proud if what we did."

As he mulls over where the Stragglers have been and where they're headed, Boland comes back to one idea over and over again: he and his band are who they are, and with that genuineness comes grit, beauty, and staying power. "We're fortunate that we're not trying to fool anybody," he says. "That's what it comes down to. We're all loners but somehow a team. Now that I can look at it all, I can see: it's been fun."

Multi-platinum Debut Album By The Corrs

Includes The Singles Runaway, Forgiven, Not Forgotten, The Right Time And More

    First Time On Vinyl!

The Corrs are the most successful family band from Ireland compromising three sisters and one brother. They blend contemporary pop rock elements with themes from their traditional Irish background within their music. The Corrs have released six studio albums and numerous singles, which have reached Platinum in many countries, and have sold 40 million albums worldwide.

Forgiven, Not Forgotten is the debut album by The Corrs. The album was primarily produced by David Foster, with additional production by Jim Corr. It became internationally popular, but nowhere more so than their homeland, where the LP's four-times-platinum status made it one of the most popular debuts by an Irish group.

The traditional Irish instruments like the bodhran and tin whistle add a twist to the pop melodies of tracks like the title track and The Right Time, where they are allowed some solo time. The Irish musical background of the band members is most obviously heard in Sharon Corr's violin work, used here more like a traditional Irish fiddle than a classical violin.

The album spawned five official single releases including Forgiven Not Forgotten, Runaway, The Right Time, Love to Love You and Closer.

The immense popular debut album by The Corrs is available on vinyl for the first time ever!
