    Everybody Is Going To Heaven

Almost two years to the date of the release of their breakthrough album, Citizen return with their highly
anticipated follow-up full-length, Everybody is Going to Heaven. Haunting these ten songs is a foreboding,
dark atmosphere masterfully crafted by producer Will Yip, and an immediate, intense energy is palpable
from even the first grimy seconds of the opener, "Cement." As with every one of Citizen's releases, Mat
Kerekes' signature vocal delivery here is a trademark feature, demonstrating the emotional tension that boils
over on this release. As cathartic as ever, he duels between a soft croon and a haunting scream, confronting
his demons on tracks like "My Favorite Color" echoing the tormented refrain, "my heart still beats for nothing".

And while most of the record is an intense and noisy onslaught, songs like "Heaviside" and "Yellow
Love" act as armistices, each aching in reverb-drenched consonance. Everybody is Going to Heaven is a
turning point for Citizen: once regarded as newcomers with undeniable potential, the band shows here that
they have matured both abruptly and uniquely, with no end to their upward trajectory in sight.

    Citizen Zombie

Post punk provocateurs The Pop Group, one of the most wildly innovative and barrier-shattering bands to emerge from the late '70s era are set to release their first studio recording in 35 years. The album 'Citizen Zombie' has been produced by one of the biggest names in commercial pop music, multi Grammy and Academy Award winner Paul Epworth (Adele, U2, Florence & The Machine). The album, features original members Mark Stewart (lyrics / vocals), Gareth Sager (guitar), Dan Catsis (bass), and Bruce Smith (drums). The announcement of the new album has been received with great enthusiasm from major music sites across the globe, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Noisey to name a few. Rolling Stone recently featured The Oral History of The Pop Group, citing the band as inspiration for everyone from Nick Cave to Nine Inch Nails, and going on to say:" They paved the way for Fugazi's politicized dissonance, Massive Attack and Nine Inch Nails' larger-than-life soundscapes, and the dancefloor-friendly art-rock moves of contemporary bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Liars."

    Citizen Of Glass

Danish-born singer-songwriter Agnes Obel is back with her highly anticipated third studio album, Citizen Of Glass. Featuring lead single 'Familiar', the album was recorded, mixed and produced by Obel in Berlin.

Obel was at an early age guided into music by the influence of her parents, who would play and listen to a blend of the classical greats, folk music and contemporary pop. She learnt to play piano as a child but it was her move to Berlin in 2006 that prompted her to take her music to the next level. Her debut Philharmonics was released in 2010, a quiet phenomenon that spent seven consecutive weeks at number 1 and sold in excess of 100,000 copies in her homeland alone. The release of Aventine in 2013 cemented her status as a household name across mainland Europe and as an icon to piano players throughout the world. With combined sales of over a million copies of her first two albums and in excess of 250 million track streams, plus critical acclaim and commercial success already under her belt, she is now perfectly poised for true breakthrough success in the UK and US too.

Already respected by an impressive list of musicians and media, Obel remains a truly global artist with a rare ability to connect with a broad audience across many boundaries.

    Hope And Despair (Discontinued)

Four years have passed since the release of Berlin Serengeti, the debut album from producer Niko Schabel and friends, aka Radio Citizen. His first album was an all-out assault of electronic music armed with organic tentacles that reached far into an eclectic bag of rough jazz and worldly funk. It not only caught the ears of tastemaker DJs and press but also wound up in movies and TV shows as varied as Grey's Anatomy and Takers.

On Hope and Despair he takes an even headier blend of raucous live instrumentation and works it into gritty songs and walls of sound with deft mixing and subtle studio trickery all rooted by heavyweight bass lines. His mass ensemble of musical friends often perform together in the Radio Citizen live show that developed after the release of the first album. Their unified musical prowess is reflected in the soloing, the harmonies, and all the interactions that lift Hope and Despair above its predecessor.

    Goods (Awaiting Repress)

One of the most eagerly anticipated releases of 2011, Citizen Fish's eighth full-length album Goods follows the success of their Alternative Tentacles/Fat Wreck Chords split with Leftover Crack. Citizen Fish formed in Bath, England, in 1989 following the splits of their previous bands Subhumans and Culture Shock. They have delivered their unique ska-infused punk rock to eager audiences while touring across the world the past two decades. Dick Lucas's frantic vocal delivery combined with the catchy riffs and driving punk of their unforgettable live performances continues to earn the band legions of new fans and brings working class radical politics to generations of questioning minds. These guys are masters at mixing punk with ska, and they top it off with sharply observed, politically charged lyrics.

    One Lovely Day (Awaiting Repress)

Dug deep into the rich soil of American music, Cope's roots are complex. You may think of Bill Withers or Neil Young or John Lee Hooker or Van Morrison or Willie Nelson or Al Green. Yet, listening to Cope, you also may think none of the above. You may not think at all, but rather feel a man exposing stories that haunt his heart.

He was born Clarence Greenwood, a child of the '70s, and his life journey is as singular as his art. He is the radically mashed-up product of Greenville, Mississippi; Memphis, Tennessee; Vernon, Texas; Washington, DC; and Brooklyn, New York. These locations are felt everywhere in his stories. His sounds are southern rural, big sky lonely, concrete urban, and painfully romantic. In the past nine years, he has produced four albums of depth and distinction, each a critical chapter in his search for a sound that paints an auditory American landscape in which despair wars with hope, tied to love, is elusive.

Cope's musical evolution was catch-as-catch can. Folk tales, whether through William Faulkner or Big Bill Broonzy, shaped his sensitivity. A few college courses at Texas Tech alternately bored and excited him. In Austin in the '80s, he took sound classes and found himself fooling with a primitive four-track setup. Turntables intrigued him. He heard hip hop as inspired invention. For years, he got lost in his self-designed lab, cooking up beats and motifs that only later would be shaped into songs. This, his new album, One Lovely Day is anchored by the yearning title track single which features some of his finest songwriting to date.

    Strength To Survive

DC-based reggae rock act SOJA present their highly anticipated label debut, Strength To Survive on ATO Records. The 12-song set was produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, O.A.R.)

SOJA plays in a realm similar to the one Ben Harper went towards on his album Fight For Your Mind and Citizen Cope echoed on Clarence Greenwood Recordings. You can clearly hear hope and love flowing through Jake Hemphill's voice as he sings original consciously minded reggae with the conviction of an old soul. - Jambase

    The Place And The Time

Despite a myriad of obstacles, Moby Grape managed to persevere and create a potent and enduring body of recorded work, recording four albums during its original 1967-1969 lifespan. While 1967's Moby Grape is widely acknowledged as a classic and one of rock's greatest debut albums, the subsequent Wow, Moby Grape '69 and Truly Fine Citizen are all underrated gems.

It's a measure of the musicians' abundance of talent and creativity that, despite the multiple roadblocks that they confronted, Moby Grape recorded prolifically and cut a wealth of originally unreleased material. The Place and the Time offers a scintillating assortment of rare tracks cut during the band's heady 1967-1968 heyday and it is the first time any of these tracks have appeared on vinyl! Encompassing audition recordings, album outtakes, alternative versions, live material and more, the recordings offer a powerful testament to the remarkable rapport that made the band such a unique musical force. The fact that music this stunning and originally sat on the shelf for so long is just another in the litany of injustices that haunt the Moby Grape story. Fortunately, the band's majestic recorded legacy has outlasted the bad luck. The music remains as fresh and inspiring as ever, and the vintage material featured in this collection constitutes a crucial addition to Moby Grape's already monumental body of work.

I Thought I Was An Alien

When people ask me what kind of music I do, says Soko, I usually tell them - Punk secrets. Intimate, lo-fi, crazy, sexy, funny, tear-stained, heartbreaking, often all at once, the explosive Frenchwoman's songs have already touched people around the world, earning her a massive global following. Since her teens, Soko has been on a roller coaster journey. From a stockpile of over 100 songs, she finally whitteld down to a selection of 14, her debut album, which premiered in Europe last year and now will be released in the United States. When she sings of a rootless existence, always sadly moving on with her suitcase and her guitar, you know that this is her existence - and it really is. I'm just a homeless gypsy couch-surfer citizen of the world, depending on the love and charity of my friends, she giggles. After such a long and soul-searching evolution, I Thought I Was An Alien finally introduces a truly singular talent, at her point of fruition.

    First Time On Vinyl

    4-Page Booklet

The successful Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette released her seventh studio album Flavors Of Entanglement in 2008. She wrote and recorded the album with the British composer Guy Sigsworth (Björk, Madonna etc.). The album was written during a very challenging time in her personal life (break-up with actor Ryan Reynolds). It is the reason that she combines a lot of different musical genres in the sound of the album, including hip-hop, electronic and alternative rock. The album is hailed by critic as a longstanding masterpiece, fully understandable when you listen to the depth and structured layers of the songs. She shows her personal feelings in the tracks of heartbreak, regret and anger. The first track on the album, Citizen Of The Planet focuses on her new sound, while the first single Underneath is about difficulties in communication.

The Queen of alt-rock angst sold over 75 million records worldwide. She is known for her emotive mezzo-soprano voice and here thoughtful lyrics. The vinyl edition includes a 4 page booklet with information about the songs and the album is released on vinyl for the first time.

    Heaven And Earth

Kamasi Washington's sophomore album Heaven and Earth not only fulfills its overarching ambition, but illustrates the dialectic between seen and unseen, real and imagined, citizen and culture, self and self, as well as self and other, and does so through the lens of a mature but never jaded revolutionary consciousness. The artist's own words best convey the inspiration behind this monolith of an album "The world that my mind lives in, lives in my mind. This idea inspired me to make this album Heaven and Earth. The reality we experience is a mere creation of our consciousness, but our consciousness creates this reality based on those very same experiences. We are simultaneously the creators of our personal universe and creations of our personal universe. The Earth side of this album represents the world as I see it outwardly, the world that I am a part of. The Heaven side of this album represents the world as I see it inwardly, the world that is a part of me. Who I am and the choices I make lie somewhere in between."

    Blackberry Light

Charlie Mars has been a journeyman artist with all the ups and downs that entails. He has gone from uncertainty to redemption with major label releases and high profile gigs opening for the likes of R.E.M., KT Turnstall, Citizen Cope and Steve Earle, among others. Now, with the extraordinary new Blackberry Light, the Mississippi-based troubadour builds his distinctive musical approach employing supple grooves and ambient Daniel Lanois-inspired production to enhance the elemental force of his classic songwriting influenced by Bob Marley, Bill Withers and Dire Straits.

From the dreamlike Nothing But The Rain, to the shimmering Picture of An Island, Blackberry Light sees Mars delving deep within to offer insight and a path to self awareness and ultimately transcendence via a gracefully beatific distillation of folk, rock, and smooth acoustic soul. Mars took a modest tack towards overall recording of Blackberry Light, which took place at Austin's Treefort Studios under production prowess of Billy Harvey (Bob Schneider), looking to capture those perfect uncalculated moments where everything just clicks.

Upon the sessions' conclusion, Mars sought out one of his dream collaborators legendary producer/engineer/mixer Tchad Blake. The Grammy-award winner, known for his distinctive work with such artists as Elvis Costello, Richard Thompson and Sheryl Crow, ultimately agreed and helped give Blackberry Light much of its uniquely spacious warmth. Like any songwriter worth his salt, Mars employs his art as a channel towards personal discovery, candidly exploring all the human limitations, from pride and fear to cynicism and self-doubt, that stand in the way of his attaining true happiness. 180g gatefold vinyl.

Together with their three platinum-selling albums, Uncaged, You Get What You Give, and The Foundation, and their 2013 project The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1, the band has sold over seven million albums to date. On the radio, the band has earned a historic series of thirteen #1 hit radio singles and became only the second artist to top both the country and active rock formats. Zac Brown Band are currently out on their largest North American Stadium Tour to date which includes two history making performances - a first ever three-night run at Fenway Park, and the first ever concert at Coors Field. Additional stadiums include Wrigley Park, Nationals Park, Citi Field, Comerica Park and Citizen's Bank Park.

Describing the album's direction, Zac told Rolling Stone earlier this year that it will have things that people will expect and things that they don't. Homegrown the band's highest chart debut, has earned massive fan support and early praise for its rock feel (Country Weekly) and intricately arranged vocal harmonies (Billboard); Dress Blues, written by Jason Isbell, is a somber and stirring tribute to members of the military who have been killed in service; and Heavy Is the Head features Chris Cornell, the multi Grammy winning singer/songwriter and legendary front man for pioneering rock bands Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog. The album also features a collaboration with Sara Bareilles.

    Royal Albert Hall

In May 2014 EELS embarked on an ambitious fifty-three show world tour. Starting in Phoenix, Arizona and crossing The United States and Canada before rolling through mainland Europe and Great Britain, the band performed spine-tingling shows at New York's Apollo, Chicago's Vic Theater, Los Angeles' Orpheum Theater, The Montreux Jazz Festival and The Amsterdam Concert Hall among many others. On the night of June 30th EELS returned to London's legendary Royal Albert Hall for the first time in nine years to play a stunning show that was filmed and recorded.

In sharp contrast to the previous EELS tour that found the band in track suits playing high octane electric rock & roll, this EELS show was a gentlemen's EELS concert, as EELS leader Mark Oliver Everett, aka E, puts it. Filmed by nine cameras in the gorgeously-lit Royal Albert Hall, the new film and album find the EELS dapperly dressed in suits and ties, and all five band members stretching their musical capabilities past new boundaries, playing songs from 2014's critically-acclaimed THE CAUTIONARY TALES OF MARK OLIVER EVERETT for the first time along with songs spanning the EELS' 19 year career. When they played Royal Albert Hall in 2005 they were accompanied by a string section. This time there are only the five core members of the band on stage throughout the concert, splitting their time between guitar, piano, pedal steel guitar, trumpet, upright and bowed bass, melodica, vibraphone, timpani, drums, concert chimes and glockenspiel. And the results are stunning.

The film features the band backstage preparing for the big night and captures the entire show from start to finish, as it happened, including Everett kissing the spot where John Lennon once stood on the stage, making his way to hug fans all the way around Albert Hall's massive floor, returning for several encores, as well as a surprise phantom encore where Everett's dream of playing the massive Albert Hall pipe organ for some spooky EELS classics finally comes true.

Perhaps as a result of this fantastic show, EELS were quickly invited back for a second 2014 London show and Everett, once heavily-bearded and mistakenly suspected by London police to be a terrorist (while taking a break from press interviews in Hyde Park), was made an honorary citizen of London in a ceremony granting him Freedom of the City.

    Full Circle Nightmare

Ever since his debut album Dolls of Highland was
released on Sub Pop in 2016, Kyle Craft has been
a critic's dream. Based in Portland, he serves up
all the observational, storytelling talent with none
of the attitude that so often comes with male
singer-songwriter territory. "I've found my place,"
he says. "I'm not one of those people that
approaches music for anyone other than myself.
My favorite part about music is when it's just me
and a notebook." Speaking of, his second
forthcoming album Full Circle Nightmare is
    entirely autobiographical. Sonically, thematically,
lyrically, it's a huge leap forward from his 2016
    release.

The title Full Circle Nightmare refers to a moment
where Craft saw his life for what it is and told
himself to be satisfied. "But that's nightmarish to
me," he laughs. He described his debut record as:
"like walking down this long hall of bizarre
    characters and surreal experiences, moving
through the spider web of love and loss." This
album is when you get to the end of that hallway,
turn around and see all the stuff you've been
through, then walk through the door, close it and
start a new chapter in an even crazier hallway. A
straight-up rollicking rock'n'roll album, it traverses
all the different nuances of the genre; from the
bluegrass twang of 'Exile Rag,' to the gothic style
of 'Gold Calf Moan,' it's a timeless piece that could
exist in any of the past five decades.

In terms of contemporary peers, Craft likes to stay
in his own lane. He's an old soul who sticks to his
tried and tested influences. Social media is not
his game - it's just not interesting to him. He's not
fussed about preaching his politics or discussing
the status quo either. "I don't really like writing a
time piece. I don't wanna get trapped in the
'Donald Trump era of Kyle Craft,' you know? I'm a
very off-the-grid sort of person. As much as I am
traveling across this giant place sometimes I just
feel so outside of it. Also, I'm not necessarily a
stand-up citizen so it's hard for me to say: here's
Kyle Craft's America, ladies and gentlemen."
The ironic thing is that Full Circle Nightmare
sounds exactly like Kyle Craft's America. That is
what he's built for us: the story of one man's trials
and tribulations to find his passion and voice for
art and creativity in this vast opportunistic
country. Where did he find it? Among the historic
riches of America's most honest sounds.

Between 1967 and 1981 DetroitÆs downriver neighbor Ecorse, Michigan had its very own Harry Smith. Set up in a basement on 18th Avenue, Felton Williams chronicled the musical lives of EcorseÆs citizens and issued them on the Solid Rock, Compose, and Revival labels. Compiled here are 24 of WilliamsÆ most fascinating recordings, covering gospel, group soul, garage-punk, northern, jazz, and funk.

Also included is a DVD with over 200 sound recordings pulled from his archives and compiled into a digital tape vault. This allows you to dig deep into the endless hours of jam sessions, demos, sermons, rehearsals and studio outtakes. The DVD also has an engaging 30 minute documentary on the making of Downriver Revival and gives you further insight into Felton and the artists he recorded at Double-U-Sound.

    Ruby Red

Friends and fans of The Love Language songwriter and frontman Stuart McLamb have learned to expect a lot, but rarely in a timely manner. Completing a triumvirate of spiritual transmissions spent lost (2009's The Love Language) and found (2010's Libraries), 2013's Ruby Red exorcises the transient brilliance fostered by McLamb within the sheetrock walls of the album's namesake artist space.

Featuring over twenty musicians and straddling several time zones, The Love Language's lone puppeteer borrowed heavier equipment, and held on to it longer. Initiated in a windowless unit at the fabled Ruby Red, several failed attempts
and false starts at a songwriting spree landed McLamb and his engineer/case worker/boxing coach BJ Burton in Black Mountain, North Carolina, consuming every square inch of a carpeted bungalow located a few acres too close to their skittish neighbors. Soon after, Burton's relocation to Minneapolis
effectively thrust McLamb from their shared nest, helping Ruby Red discover its inherent propensity for flight.

Ruby Red produces new standards for the Carolina pop songbook, finding The Love Language as an extroverted community art project made by responsible citizens of a loosely packed scene
who know that McLamb will match whatever they contribute. The heartbreak is over. Now we're getting somewhere.

Singles (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (Deluxe)

A Newly Expanded And Remastered Edition In Celebration Of The Film's 25th Anniversary

2xLP Vinyl Package Containing Bonus CD Of Rarities And Unreleased Tracks

Newly Released Bonus CD Features Previously Unreleased Recordings By Chris Cornell, Mike Mccready, Mudhoney, And Paul Westerberg In Addition To Rarities Such As Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier

Includes Liner Notes And A Track-By-Track Description Of The Album's Music Written Especially For This Collection By Cameron Crowe, The Screenwriter And Director Of "Singles"

Epic Soundtrax and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cameron Crowe's groundbreaking romantic comedy, "Singles," with the release of a newly expanded and remastered edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album.

The 2xLP edition features the album's original 13 tracks newly mastered and freshly pressed across four sides of collectible 12 vinyl. The bonus CD of rarities and unreleased tracks is included as a special insert in the 2xLP 12 vinyl package.

The newly released bonus CD features previously unreleased recordings by Chris Cornell, Mike McCready, Mudhoney, and Paul Westerberg in addition to rarities such as Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier (debuting an early rendition of "Spoonman") and tracks from the film not included on the best-selling soundtrack album first released on June 30, 1992. The success of "Singles" helped establish a then-emerging new generation of rock artists-including 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden-as musical forces to be reckoned with.

The expanded edition of the "Singles" soundtrack includes, for the first time on CD, "Touch Me I'm Dick," the signature track from "Singles" performed by Citizen Dick (a fictional band created for the film featuring frontman Matt Dillon backed by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament).

The new Epic Soundtrax/Legacy Recordings edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack includes liner notes-and a track-by-track description of the album's music-written for especially for this collection by Cameron Crowe, the screenwriter and director of "Singles." The newly expanded edition of the film's soundtrack is produced by Danny Bramson and Cameron Crowe and mastered by Mike Piacentini at Battery Studios, New York.

Set in Seattle at the beginning of the 1990s, Crowe's film featured music by relatively obscure (at that time) bands like Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden, providing an introduction to an emerging grunge rock music scene for a welcoming mainstream audience. The film became a cult classic while the soundtrack achieved RIAA double platinum status in the US.

A romantic comedy capturing the zeitgeist of an era, "Singles" helped define the look, sound, attitude and style of Generation X with a fresh-faced ensemble cast featuring Bridget Fonda, Campbell Scott, Kyra Sedgwick, Matt Dillon, Bill Pullman, Sheila Kelly, Jim True-Frost, James LeGros, Ally Walker, Jeremy Piven, Eric Stoltz, Tim Burton and more.

Crowe's groundbreaking film chronicling the lives of Seattle's twentysomethings touched a nerve in the culture while the movie's best-selling soundtrack-with tracks from new artists and classic rockers-provided a critical overview of the roots of grunge and the essential contributions of Seattle rock. Alongside new songs like Alice In Chains' "Would?" and Pearl Jam's "Breath" and "State of Love and Trust" stood the Jimi Hendrix Experience's "May This Be Love" and a breathtaking cover of Led Zeppelin's "The Battle of Evermore" performed by The Lovemongers (a musical side project created by Heart's Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson).

The first edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was originally released on June 30, 1992 and became a chart-topping best-seller three months prior to the theatrical release of the film. The soundtrack included music from key bands from the Seattle music scene-including Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden-while Paul Westerberg, in his first solo recordings outside The Replacements-contributed two songs and provided the score for the film. Smashing Pumpkins were also featured on the soundtrack with the song "Drown."

"The album itself was always designed to be sort of an anti-soundtrack, more like a souvenir and a simple mix-tape of some of Seattle's finest," said Cameron Crowe. "It really is and was a tribute to those hard-working bands that welcomed me to their city with open arms, and the music so many still love so much. Anyway, here we are now revisiting 'Singles,' the film, as well as the soundtrack you hold in your hands, expanded with a special tip of the hat to the fans of the original release. Included are unreleased and raw elements that helped shape the experience of making the movie back in 1991. Hope you enjoy the trip back as much as I did - Viva Seattle!"

25 years ago, the film "Singles" and its soundtrack worked together to bring the underground Seattle music scene to the forefront of mainstream consciousness. The album was among the first top-selling movie soundtracks of the 1990s to showcase new material from emerging contemporary bands. The expanded edition of Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is cause to celebrate anew the radical rock sounds that radiated out of the American Northwest a quarter century ago and changed pop music forever.
