The long awaited vinyl reissue of the landmark second studio album from Coheed and Cambria, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, will be released by Equal Vision Records/Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings.

Maps Of Non-Existent PlacesClaudio Sanchez has officially launched his record label Evil Ink Records and his first signing is New Jersey's young experimental progressive rock septet
Thank You Scientist. The newly formed label, distributed by INgrooves, will be releasing a fully remixed and remastered version of the band's 2012 debut
full-length record, Maps of Non-Existent Places, in time for their run with Coheed and Cambria's "Neverender:IKSSE3 Tour."
Claudio Sanchez knows a little bit about progressive music. His career has spanned 12 years and 7 albums, likely encompassing the longest concept
album arc in the history of rock and roll. Now, in effort to further support and promote his beloved complex genre, he has launched a label dedicated to
sharing a wealth of future talent with the first signing being the extremely talented seven-piece band Thank You Scientist.
For the uninitiated, Thank You Scientist was forged from the music program at Montclair State University in New Jersey when guitarist Tom Monda met
saxophonist Ellis Jasenovic and trumpeter Andrew Digrius. The three bonded over their love for Frank Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, The Beatles and
Harry Nilsson. Those influences would become the seeds for what Thank You Scientist would evolve into today.
With the addition of vocalist Salvatore Marrano, bassist Greg Colacino, drummer Odin Alvarez and violinist Ben Karas, Thank You Scientist's lineup of
virtuoso musicians was complete. The band would go on to self-release an EP, The Perils of Time Travel, in 2011 followed by their debut full-length, Maps
of Non-Existent Places, in 2012, which caught the ear of Sanchez, a fellow purveyor of progressive stylings, and led to his signing of the band.
To pinpoint Thank You Scientist's sound would be inconceivable. On Maps of Non-Existent Places they hold a virtual master class on musicianship,
fusing elements of progressive rock with jazz fusion, classical, metal, psychedelic and pop for a head spinning, mind-blowing listening experience. The
seven-piece band, who collectively play some 20 instruments, boasts a hyper-composed sound which is indebted to their experience and formal training
in both classical and jazz idioms.
A Frank Zappa for the indie generation? Incubus jamming with the Mahavishnu Orchestra? Mr. Bungle and Steely Dan joining forces to fight Godzilla?
King Crimson and the Brecker Brothers serenading you at your bedside? It all seems so strange on paper, yet it's sure to satisfy your ears in the best of

Stranger Heads PrevailGreen Colored Vinyl
New Jersey alt/prog connoisseurs, Thank You Scientist, have announced details of their brand new full-length, Stranger Heads Prevail that will be released via Evil Ink Records. The label is best known for being owned and ran by Coheed and Cambria lead singer, Claudio Sanchez.
Sanchez says of the band, "Thank You Scientist is a rare band that stretches the boundaries of the listener's expectation. Their compositions are a tornado of complexity and style that compel the audience to stay present for every note."
Following the breakout success of their debut label album, Maps Of Non-Existent Places, the band set to follow one simple but resolute goal: no expectations. Constantly writing and with an intense rehearsal schedule, the band began crafting Stranger Heads Prevail together in late 2014 under the watchful ear of guitarist/primary songwriter Tom Monda.
According to Monda, musically the band wanted to make a rock record with multiple layers of compartmentalized detail, a la The Beatles "Abbey Road" or Queens' "Night at the Opera". "This record has a lot of attention to detail, which will hopefully keep people coming back for more. We wanted to make something that held up to both surface listens as well as tailor to listeners who are listening with a microscope of sorts. With more listens, I feel the songs unveil themselves more and more."
Vocalist and lyricist Salvatore Marrano adds, "This is a deeply personal record for me, albeit positive, but I found myself continually needing to find the positive in all of the negative in our lives. We're all just trying to sift through the bullshit to find a bit of hope."1. Prologue: A Faint Applause

The North CorridorMultiplatinum alternative rock band Chevelle return with their eighth full-length album, The North Corridor [Epic Records].
The North Corridor follows up 2014's critically acclaimed La Gárgola, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 upon release and earned the group its highest chart position yet. Marking their third consecutive collaboration, the band teamed up with producer Joe Barresi [Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Coheed and Cambria] for the record's ten tracks. The Silence In Black And White (Awaiting Repress)Colored Vinyl
Having formed in the unlikely musical breeding ground of Dayton, Ohio in 2001, Hawthorne Heights learned early on that adaptation and diligence were the keys in the development of a successful career. Playing relentlessly from the start on self-booked tours across the country and sharing the stage with bands such as The Descendants and Coheed and Cambria gave them some initial national exposure.
But it wasn't until they signed to Victory Records in late 2003 that the band became the face of a whole new generation of music fans. That success was compounded with their 2004 label debut, The Silence In Black And White, which produced the band's signature hit Ohio Is For Lovers, an anthem for the new wave of 'emo'. To Be Everywhere Is To Be NowhereThrice has been a staple in the alternative/modern-rock world for over fifteen years. A band known for effortlessly and continuously releasing groundbreaking records, their discography has sold over a 1.5 million copies, and they've toured the world with acts like The Deftones, Coheed & Cambria, Rise Against, Circa Survive and Brand New.
Thrice released their first proper full-length, Identity Crisis, in 2001 and quickly stormed to the forefront of the indie music scene as listeners rejoiced and formed what can only be described as a cult following. The band went on to release seven highly praised albums - fan favorites The Illusion Of Safety (2002), The Artist In The Ambulance (2003) and Vheissu (2005), the brilliant and eclectic four-part concept album The Alchemy Index: Fire and Water (2007) and Earth and Air (2008), the visceral and raw masterpiece, Beggars (2009), and a grunge-inspired follow-up album, Major/Minor (2011). XVIIIEighteen Visions are back! They have returned after a 10 year hiatus, bringing with them
their explosive new offering, XVIII. While 10 years have passed since the band's last effort,
Eighteen Visions have retained their ability to craft hardcore rock anthems that are both
melodic and metal at the same time. They've picked up right where they left off, and XVIII
is proof with 10 in your face songs that are both aggressive and canorous.
Eighteen Visions were always a bit ahead of their time, but they were one of the few bands that were able to
make the jump from headlining small sweaty clubs in America to becoming a full force rock
band headlining major tours and festivals all around the world and supporting larger acts like
Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, Hinder, Bullet for My Valentine and HIM.
Eighteen Visions have always had a very loyal following that felt more like a family than a fan
base, which led to their global success and dominance. Because of this, Eighteen Visions' past
albums have been consumed over 200,000 times in the US alone.
Eighteen Visions didn't reunite for any reason other than their love of making music together,
and a desire to once again share their love of aggression with the world. XVIII feels like a
gift, not just to the rabid fan base the band left behind, but to the legacy they created.

ExisterHot Water Music have never had a hit single or seen their faces plastered all over MTV, but over the years the act has done something far more impressive: they've achieved a lasting relevance that most of the aforementioned acts could only dream of. Since forming in the early '90s in Gainesville, Florida, Hot Water Music have released seven full-length albums, countless singles and toured with everyone from Flogging Molly to Coheed And Cambria along the way, but all of those stats are overshadowed by the fact that for nearly two decades this four-piece have stayed true to their roots, themselves and their music in the face of countless fads and generational shifts.
Hot Water Music was born in 1993 and since then the four-piece has never looked back. By combining elements of punk rock, and post-hardcore, with rock and roll, the band pioneered a unique blend of music that has set them apart as innovators of a movement that has inspired bands like Rise Against, The Gaslight Anthem, and Against Me!.
Ironically, Hot Water Music seem bigger these days then ever before. They've been able to keep all of their old fans, as well as establish a whole new generation of fans, whose enthusiasm for the band is just as strong, if not stronger. With high expectations set by critics and fans alike, Hot Water Music headed into the studio with Bill Stevenson (Rise Against, The Descendants, NOFX) to craft their highly anticipated new album Exister.
The people spoke and demanded a new Hot Water Music album, and with these 13 tracks, the band responded with their best body of work to date, cementing them as the legacy punk band with the most heart and longevity.1. Mainline

Ire Works (Colored Vinyl) (Awaiting Repress)Limited Edition Electric Blue Vinyl
Ire Works succeeds in many of the same ways that their previous album did, while branching out creatively. They continue to toy with technical metal, blistering hardcore, jazz breaks, and post-punk, but here they evolve again by adding more twists and turns with additional electronic elements. While the merging of too many styles in hardcore can make for a convoluted result (see Avenged Sevenfold's self-titled release), the added instruments and genre changeups enhance the result rather than acting as ornamental distractions.
Edgy Aphex Twin-style drill'n'bass drum breaks and stretched and squeezed electro blips feel strangely at home next to the psychotic time-signature changes and manic riffs, especially on the tracks Sick on Sunday, Dead as History, and When Acting as a Wave. Violins, pianos, and trumpets sit nicely in the mix, and the group's willingness to take chances leads to stunning artistic endeavors rather than stale attempts at crossing genres just for the sake of being clever. Original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis makes an appearance, as does Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds, but the most notable inclusion is drummer Gil Sharone, who proves himself an expert at picking up the slack after the departure of founding member Chris Pennie to play in Coheed and Cambria.
Undoubtedly, this act added anger to fuel the fire of their heavier numbers. 82588, Fix Your Face, and Party Smasher are as wicked and manic as their most difficult earlier stuff; conversely, the melodic hooks and falsetto of Black Bubblegum and the watery ambience of Mouth of Ghosts balance out the album nicely. It can be inaccessible and terrifying all at once, but in a genre overly saturated with formulaic groups, Ire Works is a true standout. If DEP aren't careful and continue down this innovative path, they could easily be labeled the Radiohead of metalcore- a visceral metal album that pushes the envelope.1. Fix Your Face
