Man Is Myth (Early Demos)Britain's dirtiest doom metal-band CONAN provide insights into a secret world! Man Is Myth - Early Demos are unheard beasts out of their rehearsal room and studio. It roars and cranks all over, dull distortion drags nerves into the coldest regions of the world. It's no accident that they call themselves Caveman Battle Doom. Man Is Myth - Early Demos is the primordial soup for everything that CONAN stands for. There is nothing that fascinates more than the crudity of underlying ideas of eventual noise-hits. EclipseEclipse, Lewis' third album as Twin Shadow, follows up on the success of 2012's Confess, an international critical smash.
That moment when something pure and constant is broken, where you're filled with vulnerability, that moment is what I live for in art, says George Lewis, Jr., aka Twin Shadow. I've always chased that in my music, and when I find it I try to reign it back right before it falls over the edge.
2012's international critical smash, Confess, was hailed by Pitchfork as Best New Music for its brash lyrics [and] laser-focused songwriting, Uncut called an impeccable sequel to an immaculate debut, and NME dubbed a thrill ride. Stunning performances everywhere from Fallon and Conan to Coachella and Bonnaroo cemented Lewis' status as one of the most charismatic and compelling frontmen in music today, but by the end of touring for Confess, he found himself burned out and in need of solitude.1. Travellers In Space And TimeI wanted to make a futuristic pop record, to reach out to the kids of the future. It is what I imagine their more highly-evolved pop might sound like: shiny soul music with robots and humans singing together. We are sending a pop music message through time. So says The Apples in stereo / Elephant 6 collective mastermind Robert Schneider. The Apples' new album and seventh studio effort, Travellers in Space and Time is the follow-up to their critically acclaimed hit album New Magnetic Wonder and their second release in association with Elijah Wood's Simian Records. Travellers finds the studio-obsessed indie rockers continuing the hook-heavy pop mastery they achieved on New Magnetic Wonder, an album that spawned performances on Conan O'Brien and Stephen Colbert, along with numerous commercial placements (Pepsi, Samsung, New Balance) and even a performance of hit single Energy by the contestants of American Idol. Well over a year in the making, the new material recasts the Apples' signature pop sounds in chrome-plated futurism, all while adding a dance-driven vibe channeling ELO, Barry Gibb, Wild Honey-era Beach Boys and Off The Wall-era Michael Jackson. The Code

GoMotion City Soundtrack have built their fanbase one fan at a time, through breakout tours with All American Rejects and Fallout Boy, on the 2006 Warped Tour and mtvU's Campus Invasion, and at festivals like Bamboozle and Lollapalooza. They have appeared on Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel, earned glowing press from Rolling Stone to Entertainment Weekly, and received solid support at MTV, FUSE, and MTV2.
Now Motion City Soundtrack are in the midst of a career renaissance as they return to their longtime label Epitaph to release Go, the most mature and developed album of their 14year career. Continuing a dichotomy between upbeat music and darker lyricism that stretches back to their breakout single "The Future Freaks Me Out," Go sees the band both maturing lyrically and musically while reinvigorating the signature melodic, keyboarddriven sound that their longtime fans love.
Despite the fullcircle musical evolution they've undergone with Go, the band members agree that in some ways they feel like the same way they did when Motion City Soundtrack was starting to make their mark in the early 2000s.1. Circuits And Wires

Another OneLike the days of Steely Dan or Harry Nilsson releasing a classic album every year (or less) comes Mac DeMarco's Another One, a Mini-LP announced one year after the release of the meteorically successful Salad Days. Written and recorded during the downtime between a relentless touring schedule, Another One is an eight-track release that expands the arsenal of Mac's already impressive catalog, showing the maturity of Mac's progression as songwriter: it's a bit more refined, a bit more sophisticated, but nonetheless retains the guts and soul of classic Mac. Despite working at the same pace as artists like Creedence and The Rolling Stones, coupled with an equally unending schedule of touring and press, it's odd that Mac is labeled as a slacker. With two full-lengths and two EPs released and hundreds of sold out shows performed in the last several years, a recent late night television debut on Conan following a special performance on The Eric Andre Show, it seems, as Mac nears his 25th birthday, there's not a slack bone in the man's body. Great songwriters don't need to reinvent themselves; they just need to keep going and let the songs out in the world. Thus, here's Another One.1. The Way You'd Love Her

The music industry sees artists come and go on a regular basis. Plans change, life gets in the way and bands fade away. Occasionally we're lucky enough to see an important band return from their silence: enter At The Drive In. While At The Drive In was quiet, the members (Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Tony Hajjar and Paul Hinojos) were incredibly busy, selling millions of albums, winning Grammys and putting out a lot of quality music with their other projects (The Mars Volta, Antemasque, Gone Is Gone and many more).
After a 15 year break, the band returned to the studio to create the follow-up to 2000's Relationship of Command. It's the moment fans have been waiting for since their return to the stage as 2012 Coachella and Lollapalooza headliners prepare for in·ter a·li·a. Produced by the band's own Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Rich Costey (Muse, Sigur Rós, Santigold), in·ter a·li·a includes eleven songs that resonate the classic At The Drive In intensity that fans love, while breaking the band's 15-year drought with something fresh and exciting, that slides right into 2017.
Their impressive catalog has earned At The Drive In positions on the Billboard Top 200 chart, spots on various "Greatest Albums" lists, and performances on David Letterman, Jools Holland, Conan O'Brien and more. This album is sure to provide nothing less. The band will be touring throughout 2017 to support this release, as well as perform on late night television. Strange DesireBleachers will release debut album 'Strange Desire' on RCA Records. The highly anticipated album was written and produced by Grammy Award winning musician Jack Antonoff with co-producer John Hill (MIA, Jay Z, Empire of the Sun) as well as Vince Clarke (Depeche Mode, Yaz, Erasure) and others.
"It's the 2 words that perfectly title what this Bleachers album is as a documentation of my life as I can remember it at this point", wrote Antonoff yesterday afternoon in the Craigslist ad he posted announcing the album title.
Bleachers first single "I Wanna Get Better" has already streamed over 1.5 million times, was deemed "the song of the summer in February" by the Huffington Post and quickly skyrocketed into the top 10 at Alt radio.
Since the Bleachers launch in February critics have been nothing but excited and eager to hear more. Rolling Stone exclaimed "We'll be shocked if it's not all over the radio by spring", TIME raved " it's exciting to imagine what else Antonoff has up his sleeve" and Hilly Dilly proclaimed " this is the kind of music that can't get big enough."
Hailing from New Jersey, 29 year old Jack Antonoff has been in the music scene for over a decade. In 2002, with Jack as the lead singer, the success of New Jersey born indie rock band Steel Train was well underway. Steel Train's cult following lead them to make their national television debut on Late Night With Conan O'Brien and later appeared on Late Show With David Letterman. In 2008, Jack joined Nate Ruess and Andrew Dost to form the Grammy award winning fun.
In addition to being a multi-talented musician, Jack is a critically acclaimed songwriter and producer. His achievements include fun. being honored with the Vanguard Award at the 2014 ASCAP Pop Music Awards and co-writing fun.'s Grammy award winning song "We Are Young" and Grammy nominated album Some Nights. ThunderpussyWhat if Thor's Hammer of the Gods from "Immigrant Song" landed in the hands of four wise, willful, and wild women? Well, it would sound something like Thunderpussy.
The quartet-Molly Sides [vocals], Whitney Petty [guitar], Leah Julius [bass], and Ruby Dunphy [drums]-do the most rock 'n' roll thing possible and quite literally fuck up every rock 'n' roll stereotype you know to be true, piercing the halls of Valhalla in the process. Think of it like an inverse Frank Frazetta painting where it's the Amazonian siren wielding all of the world's power instead of Conan (he's on the sidelines in awe). More simply, instead of Page and Plant, Perry and Tyler, and Jagger and Richards, you get Molly and Whitney. Known for earth shattering pipes, heart-stopping performance art, and a propensity to literally writhe through a crowd, Molly is the consummate ideal front-person-bold, brilliant, brazen, and beautiful. At her righthand, you've got Whitney as the ultimate 21st century axe-slinger-cool, collected, and crazy on that fretboard. Rounding out the fray, Leah and Ruby cook up the tightest rhythm section this side of Cream (no kidding).
So, what is it that turned the Seattle-based group into a quiet phenomenon with the endorsement of Rolling Stone and Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready as well as a string of already legendary performances under their high-waisted belts (we're looking at you, Sasquatch)? It'd be too easy to say it's the power of the P----
Whitney steps in, "People talk about that magic. There's some voodoo happening between Molly and I, which is like a cosmic connection. She has this power. Somehow, I'm under her spell when we're performing-we all are."
"The truth is, I feel the same way about Whitney, Leah, and Ruby," smiles Molly. "We're all in this together."
That unity drives the band's forthcoming full-length debut Thunderpussy [Stardog Records/Republic Records] produced by Sylvia Massy. The lead single Speed Queen begins with a revving engine and arena-size percussion before snapping into a muscular and majestic riff and vocal proclamation, "Long live the Speed Queen."
"The 'Speed Queen' is this mythic and magical woman who rides a motorcycle and travels around the country," explains Whitney. "Nobody knows too much about where she came from or where she's going, but she changes everyone she meets because she's that powerful. I was thinking of Molly when I wrote it."
Its companion track "Badlands" evokes bluesy Zeppelin-style mysticism with a fury that certainly wouldn't be out of place on Aerosmith's Rocks-but is completely at home on Speed Queen.
"It nods to that classic Terrence Malick movie Badlands with Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek," adds Molly. "It's an on-the-run love song between two outlaws."
Among its arsenal, Thunderpussy also boasts a song produced by McCready "Velvet Noose." Everything comes together into one cohesive and classic vision of rock music recharged, reinvigorated, and resurrected in what can only be described as a diamond in the muff: Thunderpussy.
"Being a lover of rock 'n' roll music for my whole life, you either have it, or you don't," Whitney leaves off. "If you find it, cultivate it, treat it like a wild animal, and tame that raw energy, but not too much. That's what this is."1. Speed Queen

Take Me To The Disco (Pre-Order)Release Date: June 20, 2018*
Meg Myers has announced her new album 'Take Me To The Disco,' a relentless and brutally honest record, and the raw result of Meg's own personal journey. As on her breakout 2015 debut album 'Sorry,' Meg's tremendously powerful voice (Rolling Stone) and seething...riffs (The New York Times) are front and center, but this time around, she explores love, loneliness and trauma with unflinching candor, facing her inner green-eyed monster head-on and attacking each bar with a primal ferocity.
To accompany the announcement, Meg has released lead single Numb, a haunting look at the pressures of the music business and life in general. 'Feeling numb' relates to the many pressures of life and our reactions to this weight, says Meg. When this burden becomes too much and we can no longer run...we essentially numb out. Billboard said of the song, piano and electronics gnaw at the alt-rock arrangement, declaring, the cathartic 'Numb' leaves you with a paradoxically life-affirming feeling, a weapon against the modern-day frustrations inherent in life and music.
Meg co-wrote most of the songs on the album with her producer and collaborator Christian Leggy Langdon, and enlisted the help of Victor Indrizzo, who has played with Depeche Mode, to play drums on the record. Meg also used a live string section for the first time - The Section Quartet appears on six songs on the album.
Listening back to some of these songs made me realize what I was really writing about...what was underneath it all, says Meg. On the surface, I thought I was writing about love loss but I've learned it goes much deeper than that. It's going back to the child in me that needed to be healed. I've always written from a true place, but in getting to know myself better, I'm now writing from an even deeper level of honesty.
Meg, who grew up in a Jehovah's Witness household, moved to Los Angeles when she was 19 where she recorded her debut album 'Sorry' on Atlantic Records. That album spawned Top 15 and Top 20 alternative radio hits, Desire and Sorry, respectively, with MTV calling Desire the female answer to Nine Inch Nails' Closer. Meg's striking and visceral music videos have skyrocketed to upwards of 9 million YouTube views, and her Spotify plays rank in the tens of millions. She's graced the pages of every major publication from Rolling Stone to Cosmopolitan, and has brought her hypnotizing performances to Conan and Last Call with Carson Daly, in addition to major tours with the Pixies, Alt-J, and Royal Blood and notable festival slots including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governors Ball.
On Numb, Meg's mysteriously shape-shifting (Entertainment Weekly) vocal acrobatics are in full force as she alternates between seductive verses and a no-holds-barred chorus. When I first wrote 'Numb,' explains Meg, it was about my experience with a major record label. But as I dug deeper, I found that it goes back to some early childhood stuff and how shutting down, or escaping, felt like the safer thing to do.
Other album highlights include the dreamy, atmospheric title track and the driving Tourniquet, an eerie yet poignant song that details the trials of being trapped in an unhealthy relationship. The thunderous rocker Jealous Sea is a walk on the darker side, says Meg, but it also shows the beauty in the darkness. With each song on 'Take Me To The Disco,' Meg fearlessly bares her soul with an intensity only she can convey.

Willie And The Boys: Willie's Stash Vol. 2Legacy Recordings is set to release Willie Nelson and the Boys, the eagerly-awaited second installment in the acclaimed Willie's Stash archival recordings series.
Following in the musical footsteps of 2014's December Day, the first volume in the Willie's Stash series (featuring Willie's Sister Bobbie), Willie Nelson and the Boys is another family collaboration, this time showcasing Willie and sons, Lukas Nelson and Micah Nelson, performing a selection of well-loved American country music standards and classics, including seven penned by the immortal Hank Williams Sr.
The Willie's Stash series will present a variety of archival releases, each personally curated by Willie Nelson, culled from decades of recording and touring, providing unique perspectives on one of America's most vital musical forces.
Consisting mainly of studio recordings laid down during the extraordinary 2011 sessions for Heroes, Willie's Legacy debut, Willie Nelson and the Boys (Willie's Stash, Vol. 2) is produced by Willie's longtime friend and collaborator Grammy-winning Buddy Cannon and recorded by Steve Chadie at Pedernales Recordings Studio in Austin, Texas.
Musicians on the album include Willie Nelson (vocals, Trigger), Lukas Nelson (vocals, electric guitar, resonator guitar), Micah Nelson (vocals), Mickey Raphael (harmonica), Kevin Swine Grantt (bass), Bobby Terry (acoustic guitar, electric guitar), Jim Moose Brown (piano, B-3 organ, Wurlitzer), Mike Johnson (steel guitar), Tony Creasman (drums), Barry Bales (upright bass on My Tears Fall) and Lonnie Wilson (drums on My Tears Fall). Move It On Over featured background vocals by the Spur Of The Moment Singers: Buddy Cannon, Mickey Raphael, Kevin Swine Grantt, Bobby Terry, Jim Moose Brown, Mike Johnson, Tony Creasman, Melonie Cannon, and Shannon Finnegan.
According to Willie, the album is ....kinda like the country version of 'Stardust.' Where you have all these great songs and standards that the young people have never heard, then all of a sudden you have a whole new audience out there.
I really love the live element of this record, said producer Buddy Cannon. There was a fire in the studio during those sessions, especially on these particular tracks. It was as though the band was in a Nashville honky tonk and Willie and Lukas strolled in and jammed with the band for an hour. That's what this record is. It's honest excitement. I've never cut a record before that has this element.... It's a great joy to see Willie, Luke and Micah all equally part of a record that I love so much.
Born in Austin, Texas and raised in Maui, singer/songwriter/guitarist Lukas Nelson entered the music scene as a youngster and, by the age of 13, had joined his father Willie Nelson's band, touring as rhythm guitarist and honing the stagecraft that lead to his own career. Moving to Los Angeles, he launched in own ensemble, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real (POTR) in 2008; POTR served as Neil Young's back-up group on The Monsanto Years album and subsequent tour. Lukas and his father worked together on Willie's 2012 Legacy album, Heroes, which featured a number of father-and-son vocal-and-guitar duets.
Micah Nelson has performed with a variety of artists at events including FarmAid, Neil Young's Bridge-School Benefit, Desert Trip festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Coachella, Bonnaroo Festival as well as on TV shows such as Conan O'Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and more. Micah has been involved in the ensemble Insects vs. Robots, recorded and toured with Neil Young and made multi-instrumental contributions to the 21st century post-modern American rock band Promise Of The Real. Micah is currently the singer/songwriter/guitarist in his future-folk project Particle Kid.
Willie Nelson and the Boys (Willie's Stash, Vol. 2) is the artist's 10th release since signing to Legacy Recordings in 2012. His last Legacy album, God's Problem Child, was released on April 28, 2017 (the eve of Willie's 84th birthday on April 29) and promptly entered the Billboard Country chart at #1, making it the artist's second US country chart-topper in less than two years; Nelson's 6th Legacy release, Django and Jimmie, an unforgettable musical collaboration with Merle Haggard, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country chart in June 2015.1. The OrchardRa Ra Riots debut full-length, The Rhumb Line, was released in the summer of 2008, and it
brought with it some beautiful and sparkly ruminations on the fragile things in life (namely
life, death and love), much critical praise, and the kind of success thats measured not just

This summer the group premiered their first new music from the record, "Ladies Don't Play Guitar," hailed as "a smolderingly sardonic feminist anthem perfectly suited for social climate of today" by Consequence of Sound, while Stereogum noted that "even through her sardonic sneer, [singer Alaina] Moore's voice is as melodious as ever, and the song itself has that classic Tennis pep in its step. It's perfect for catching sun on the high seas, but is also much needed social commentary on the expectations placed on female musicians." The Verge added that the song is "a great introduction to their sound if you're unfamiliar: a wistful piano line, a biting, sarcastic vocal from Alaina Moore, and a little fuzz to keep things grounded."
Now based in Denver, Moore and Riley began writing music together as a way to document the history of their time living aboard a sailboat. The result was their first release, Cape Dory. Moore and Riley followed Cape Dory with Young and Old, which The New Yorker described as "winsome as it is ebullient" and debuted #1 on Billboard's Heatseeker Chart and #1 on CMJ Top 200, where it remained for three straight weeks. The album also debuted on Soundscan's "New Artist Chart" at #1, remaining there for nine consecutive weeks. Their newest record comes on the heels of the group's most recent release, 2014's Ritual in Repeat, which received rave reviews from The New York Times, NPR's "All Things Considered" and "Fresh Air," TIME, Vogue, Pitchfork, The FADER, Entertainment Weekly and many more. The band has performed on "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Conan" and "Last Call with Carson Daly."1. In The Morning I'll Be Better

Bad BloodUS Version Includes Three Bonus Tracks
Bad Blood, the full-length debut from Bastilleis released by Virgin Records. Bastille is the top-selling debut act of 2013 in the U.K., where Bad Blood entered the albums chart at No. 1 earlier this year and has remained in the Top 20 ever since.
The U.S. version of the album will include three bonus tracks - "The Silence," "Weight of Living, PT. I" and "Laughter Lines."
Bastille will made its U.S. television debut on "Conan" July 24. The U.K. band played a sold-out show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles and will return to the States in the fall of 2013 for its first North American tour.
Haunt, Bastille's four-song EP debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart after being released digitally. "Pompeii," the lead single, is already Top 20 at Modern Rock, and has been added by numerous stations, including KROQ-Los Angeles, 98/7-Los Angeles, Live 105-San Francisco, Q877-Chicago, KTCL-Denver, WRFF-Philadelphia, KTBZ-Houston, DC101-Washington DC and SiriusXM's Alt Nation. The "Pompeii" video has more than 30 million views.
Dan Smith, the founder of Bastille, envisioned the "Pompeii" clip as the novel I Am Legend if it were shot by the director of Drive, which hints at how inextricably intertwined music, film and literature are in his creative process. Rounding out Bastille's lineup are Will Farquarson, Kyle Simmons and Chris "Woody" Wood. The four musicians have been playing and touring together for more than two years and while each has his main role in Bastille, they effortlessly trade places on vocals, keyboards and percussion. The band's spring 2013 U.K. headline tour sold out immediately, with all 44,000 tickets gone in a day, and they are playing major festivals in the U.K, Europe and Japan this summer. Bastille's performance of "Pompeii" at Glastonbury can be seen here.
While Bad Blood sounds lush, it was actually recorded in a tiny room on limited equipment - apart from a day spent recording strings in the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Smith, working with producer Mark Crew, aimed to approach each song differently.
"I wanted each to be its own story with its own atmosphere which brings in different sounds and elements of production, incorporating aspects of the different genres and styles that I love: hip hop, indie, pop and folk," he explains. "Film soundtracks can be broad and varied, but tied together by the film itself. I hope the album will be something like that, but held together by my voice and the songwriting, each song a scene or part of a bigger picture."
"Pompeii" is an epic in miniature, a conversation between two charred bodies, frozen in time, caught in the ash that engulfed the Roman city of sin while songs like the title track and "Things We Lost in Fire" touch on the changing dynamics of relationships. "'Bad Blood' is an album crafted in one of modern pop's greatest refineries," observed Artrocker, awarding it five stars, while BBC Music said, "Bastille really deliver." Q named "Overjoyed" as "Track of the Day," noting, "[Bastille's] bewitching mixture of softly delivered vocals and glitchy tracks creates an impressive atmosphere."1. Pompeii

Kids In LoveLove is all you need. It's been said many times and many ways of course, but it's truer now than ever.
When The Mowgli's first landed on the scene, their message of positivity and love resonated with audiences everywhere. The group's 2013 major label debut, Waiting for the Dawn [Photo Finish], debuted at #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and yielded the hit "San Francisco". Following its release, the seven-piece-Colin Louis Dieden [vocals, guitar], Katie Jayne Earl [vocals, percussion], Dave Appelbaum [keyboards], Josh Hogan [guitar, vocals], Matthew Di Panni [bass], Spencer Trent [guitar, vocals], and Andy Warren [drums]-performed on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CONAN, Watch What Happens Live, and more. Between headline tours and runs supporting everybody from Walk The Moon to Manchester Orchestra, they even cut a song for the Relativity Media hit film Earth To Echo. Along the way, their interpretation of love became even clearer, and it defines their sophomore outing, Kids In Love.
"Our first album essentially said, 'What's up everyone? We're The Mowgli's, and we believe love can change the world," explains Katie. "Over the past couple of years, we really came to terms with who we are as a band. With Kids In Love we're exploring the intricacies of love. It's such a broad concept. This time around, we get into intimate love, personal love, as well as universal love. We've found art is the best vehicle to ponder what this really means."
"Before, the concept was painted in very broad strokes," Colin goes on. "Our intention was to start a movement and a culture around what we do. We put all of that under a microscope on this album and talked about personal experiences and stories, the lack of love, and finding it again."
"We've learned so much about the business, ourselves, and this message," adds Josh. "We've become more direct. It's a little wiser."
In order to properly convey that sentiment, the group teamed up with producer Tony Hoffer [The Kooks, Silversun Pickups, Fitz & The Tantrums] in his Los Angeles studio during the summer of 2014. With Hoffer at the helm, they fine-tuned their sound into an elegant amalgam of influences. Additionally, they recorded with prior collaborators Captain Cuts [Smallpools, Tove Lo] - a production team that includes Ryan Rabin of Grouplove, and worked with Matt Radosevich [Walk The Moon, One Direction] on two additional tracks. "We wanted to create songs that we knew we would enjoy playing live, songs we hoped that speak to people's personal experiences with love and life and loss and everything that comes with being a kid - or really anyone - in love," Katie explains.
"We've been on tour incessantly, and this album was really written all over the country," Colin recalls. "It was composed in green rooms, hotels, parking lots, and everywhere in between. I went to Nashville for a week on a whim and tried to learn how to write country music. I was so lucky to work with some of the best in the business. I wanted to bring some of those storytelling elements into the music too. We really grew up, and the songs reflect that journey."
The first released track "Through The Dark" builds from a shimmering acoustic guitar into an unshakable harmony between Josh and Colin. It shines its own kind of musical light.
"Everybody goes through dark times," Josh asserts. "We're trying to put a positive spin on that though, and show you can get through that darkness no matter what."
Colin continues, "In a weird way, it feels like the answer to Waiting for the Dawn. It's a hopeful and encouraging song."
Then, there's the first single "I'm Good." It begins with a sun-soaked clean guitar and resounding percussion before snapping into a delightful refrain that's undeniably unforgettable. You'll feel good after one listen
Elsewhere on the album, "Whatever Forever" is augmented by driving handclaps and a group chorus that proves infectious. Lyrically, it stemmed from some shared ink within the band. "Colin and I both got a tattoo of that phrase a few years ago in a hotel bar during Hurricane Sandy," smiles Josh. "We'd seen it on the wall of a bar, and it felt like the perfect new life motto. We're not worried about anything; we're just going for it."
"That's a personal favorite," concurs Colin. "After one show, I had a girl walk up to me and say, 'I've been dealing with so much and hurting so badly. I adopted 'Whatever Forever' as my mantra. I needed that.' Sometimes, you need to distance yourself from what hurts."
Ultimately, The Mowgli's open up their hearts once more, and the results are nothing short of inspiring. "We just want people to feel good," Katie concludes. "It's a domino effect. If someone leaves a show feeling great, maybe they pay it forward. If we can contribute a little bit of joy, companionship, and happiness, we're doing our part to make the world a little brighter."
"I want them to feel inspired to do something positive," Josh agrees. "It's all about sharing that." Colin leaves off, "I want this to be a positive transformative experience. It's almost like falling in love. When you're in a good mood, you tend to react positively. I hope it adds more positivity and love to the world."1. You're Not Alone
