Crooked ShadowsProduced by Chris Carrabba and Jonathan Clark with co-producer Colin Brittain, Crooked Shadow Is the result of a near decade-long period of immense self-examination for Carrabba. Crooked Shadows Explores Carrabba's reclamation of the simple yet extraordinary moments in life that long stood as the unsung heroes of his songwriting, as he reflects on experiences of his own and those closest to him. The result is a deeply cathartic body of work that traverses the complications and vulnerabilities of relationships while scrutinizing the possibility of self-improvement.

Twin Forks (Awaiting Repress)Twin Forks are Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional) Suzie Zeldin (The Narrative), Ben Homola (Bad Books), and Jonathan Clark. The band new
band was formed to play a one off festival, but worked so well that they decided to keep playing together. They put together an EP that they gave away
digitally to fans, and released a proper EP in September 2013. They have been touring the world since the formation of the band, and are working
towards the release of their first full length record in 2014.
"I use my gut, and my gut don't lie to me" is more than just a lyric in Twin Forks' exuberant "Something We Just Know," it is a kind of mission statement for
the quartet. If you've ever been to a musical performance that made you lose all sense of time and place and give in to the cathartic feeling of clapping
and dancing and singing along, you've already visited the sweet spot where Twin Forks have made it their mission to reside. "Whatever makes the
audience stomp their feet and sing at the top of their lungs, that's what I want to be doing," says singer/guitarist Chris Carrabba. "I want to be generating
that spirit from the stage. And there's gotta be a way to do that whether the audience knows the songs yet or not." Carrabba, mandolin player Suzie
Zeldin, bassist Jonathan Clark and drummer Ben Homola are already well on their way, rousing crowds with their electrifying chemistry and anthemic folkrock.1. Can't Be Broken

FairweatherWashington DC's Fairweather will release their third full-length album, and first album in over a decade, in 2014. The self-titled album will be released through the band's longtime label, Equal Vision Records.
Fairweather is the most straightforward thing we've ever recorded. Our goal was to make this sound like us playing our songs together, no fancy mixing or overdubs, and no overly complex song structures. On Lusitania, we embellished quite a bit - and this record was done with almost the opposite intent. It probably contains our fastest and most aggressive material to date as well. To me, it sounds the most like us of anything we've ever done. It's loud, urgent, and human, shares Green.
Lyrically and conceptually, I'd say the record is much about acceptance - about one's place in life, about how you exist and live, and coming to grips with certain aspects of your functioning as a person, for better or for worse. There's reflection in the record for sure, looking back on choices and habits, taking stock of what's behind you, and thinking of how it informs you of what's ahead.
Prior to disbanding in 2003, Fairweather released two full-length albums, If They Move Kill Them and Lusitania, and a four song EP, Alaska. Over the years, the band has toured with the likes of Thursday, Brand New, Recover, Dashboard Confessional, Piebald, Strike Anywhere, The Movielife and many more.
Fairweather is comprised of Jay Littleton (vocals), Ben Green (guitar, vocals), Peter Tsouras (guitar, vocals), Ben Murphy (bass) and Shane Johnson (drums).1. Carte Blanche

I Do PerceiveMike Kinsella continues as Owen on his third full-length, I Do Perceive, out on Polyvinyl. Kinsella constructs sensitive, emotional music, showcasing nice hooks and skillful guitar picking against electronic and acoustic drumbeats. Whispery vocals crack from exhaustion throughout I Do Perceive -- dramatic words weigh physically on Owen to the point where Kinsella can barely get anything out. The music is in the emo-indie rock camp with the likes of Pedro the Lion and Dashboard Confessional, songs of relationships and longing with melodramatics included. Kinsella is most successful when he changes up the structure and instrumentation within a song. "That Tattoo Isn't Funny Anymore" and "Bed Abuse" are standout tracks with interesting time changes and lush switches from solo acoustic guitar to full band atmospherics. I Do Perceive is more of the same from Owen -- a decent, melancholy release that stands up with others from his discography.1. Who Found Who's Hair In Who's Bed?
