Hard rock with hillbilly flair out of the UK,
Ten Benson's Danger of Deaf, originally out
on CD in 2003, is a grimy, dark-humored
whirlwind of an album full of tongue-incheek
humor and hard driving rock 'n' roll.
Show favorites were re-recorded in one take,
giving the listener a taste of the mayhem
that is Ten Benson live. Drastic Plastic

    Back To Higher Ground

    Blue Vinyl LP

The Briggs play brash American cockney punk anthems that come complete with union-made sing-alongs and ear-splitting riffs. They are the kind of songs that would make Joe Strummer shed a tear of pride and Shame McGowamn raise a glass to salute brothers Joe and Jason LaRocca's rollicking sense of spunk and bravado. In their own inimitably slick and sneering ways, the Los Angeles four-piece demonstrates the spirit of punk is alive and well and thriving on the West Coast. With their third full-length, Back to Higher Ground, now on vinyl for the first time, the Briggs bring angularity to their gut-punching assault.

The Cramps emerged out of the first wave of punk music in the mid '70s, frequenting clubs such as world-famous CBGB. Led by husband and wife team Lux Interior and Poison Ivy, this garage psychobilly band incorporated a unique flair for coalescing camp, Link Wray-inspired riffs, B-movies and bizarre performances.

In the band's self-produced sixth studio album, Flamejob, The Cramps return to their punk/rockabilly-esque style, and of course, ratchet up the sexual double entendre.

Preceding the album that made them famous, Mesh & Lace walked the path of dreamy, atmospheric aggression, fared with influences of post-punk bands such as Joy Division and Bauhaus. Machine Gun Etiquette

    Mastered For Vinyl By Masterdisk

Faithful, Yet Updated Rendering Of Original Artwork

Manufactured For Pristine Sound At Quality Record Pressing

Machine Gun Etiquette is the third album by seminal punk-rock group The Damned, and the first one without guitarist Brian James. As their original release helped define the still vague punk generation, and became part of the soundtrack of the summer of hate (1977), this stunning release helped define the post-punk genre. Its multi- layered songs incorporate ideas from a variety of movements and musical styles and then place them over simple and complex deliveries. Much wider in its perspective than The Damned's first two releases, Machine Gun Etiquette marks a defining moment in the evolution of underground music. It delivers a pleasurable listening experience that furthers one's appreciation of this deep, excellent, and genre-defying band.

    War Of The Superbikes

Originally released in 1985, The Meatmen's second album, War of the Superbikes, teamed the shameless and poignantly hysterical Tesco Vee with Minor Threat's legendary guitar duo Brian Baker and Lyle Preslar for one of the great summer albums of all time. The hardcore musicianship is superb, as are the timelessly vulgar lyrics. In addition to such classics as Abba God and Me and Pillar of Sodom, this release also features the beautiful, heart wrenching Kisses in the Sunset, with Tesco crooning with Latin love. Long out of print, it is now back with the original cover faithfully reproduced as a limited edition of 1000 copies on collectible clear vinyl.

    Smashed Hits

Limited Edition 1/2 Red 1/2 Yellow Vinyl

From one of our very favorite bands here at Drastic, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, came 1987s Smashed Hits a collection of the finest tracks from their earlier releases. This document gathers the best examples of the bands crisp, repetitive guitar-driven pop overlaid with front man Chris Reeds deep, baritone vocal delivery. Similar to proto-gothic peers The Sisters of Mercy, they distinguish themselves by creating music less self-conscious of its dark motifs, more focused on simple melodies, and driven by its rhythms and personal themes, an essay of abstract sound thats surprisingly danceable.

The litany of SoCal hardcore classics continues at Drastic Plastic Records with the reissue of one of the all time greats: Wild in the Streets by the Circle Jerks.

Wild in the Streets, the band's second album, is the Jerks in classic form: poignant, political, sarcastic and raunchy. And the cover features a gang of youths led by none other than Mike Ness, of Social Distortion. Wild in the Streets proceeds Golden Shower of Hits also available on Drastic Plastic Records.

Drastic Plastic Records is delighted to offer the third and all-around best record of Southern California legends the Circle Jerks: Golden Shower of Hits.

The Circle Jerks (along with Black Flag, both of which had Keith Morris as an original vocalist) have come to typify the last great youth movement in America: The hardcore punk movement of the late 1970s and early 80s.

Golden Shower of Hits is the last album to be recorded by the band's original lineup of Keith Morris, Greg Hetson, Roger Rogerson and Lucky Lehrer, and where its predecessor Wild in the Streets (also available from DPR) took a more sardonic and heavier tone, Golden Shower of Hits is SoCal hardcore reveling in its most authentic, sincere, obnoxious, political, hilarious roots.

Two years after the split of Bauhaus in 1983,
former members Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin
Haskins came together to form Love and Rockets.
Combining Bauhaus's signature gothic sound with
new elements of glam rock, pop, and psychedelics,
the band developed a cult following throughout
the late 80s. Their debut album Seventh Dream
of Teenage Heaven showcases this divergence of
sound, fully embracing a unique combination of
    dark, hypnotic psychedelics, and synthpop.

The Members formed in Camberley, England amongst the punk explosion of the summer of 1977. Their unique combination of reggae rhythms and punk attitude effectively worked to set the band apart. The Members quickly developed a following in London and scored a hit with their single ''Sound of the Suburbs'' - the success of which led them to release their debut album At the Chelsea Nightclub in 1979. Drastic Plastic Records is pleased to present the album for its 35th anniversary in pristine high fidelity sound.

Preston 28 February 1980 was recorded live at The Warehouse in Preston, England. The set was wrought with system failures: amps failed, instruments went in and out of key, at one point Ian Curtis exclaimed, ''I think everything is falling apart!'' Somehow, despite all of this, the band carried out an extraordinary performance. The roughness of the bass and the waning amps only add to the intensity and gloom, creating a performance that is just as haunting as it is unforgettable. Drastic Plastic Records is honored to have worked closely with Joy Division's management in order to present this seminal live recording in this beautiful, superbly mastered vinyl pressing, the only vinyl release currently available of this title to be officially sanctioned.

Limited Foil-Numbered Edition Of 1,500 200-gram Black Vinyl Manufactured For Pristine Sound At Quality Record Pressings

The melding of heavy guitars, relentless drum beats, and bone-chilling sampling come together in The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste to create one of the most influential industrial metal albums of all time. This release, the band's fourth studio recording, solidified their shift into a harder, more guitar-driven sound. In-your-face and complex, Al Jourgensen and company constructed a politically conscious record that is both distinctly danceable and aggressive.
