High-end belt-driven turntable with 10 EVO carbon fiber tonearm, outboard motor, and included isolation base

Beautiful, clever design with ultimate high-end sound quality

Thanks to extensive research and development, we have now elevated our classic RPM design to an even higher level. The RPM 10 Carbon uses a new extra-heavy chassis which features a special CNC-machined MDF base with resin-coated steel pellets to form an extra-heavy and precise sandwich construction. A special, complex heat treatment and carbon surface coating ensures superior low resonance levels. The mass-loaded chassis is effectively decoupled from its surface using magnetic feet. Combined with a new special polished aluminum platter with internal TPE damping and a vinyl layer on top, the inverted ceramic main bearing delivers an absolutely stable turntable speed with extra-low rumble due to the magnetic suspension of the platter. The heavy outboard motor unit is equipped with precise motor control and features a built-in switch between 33 & 45 rpm. Last but not least, the no-compromise 10 EVO tonearm with conical carbon-fiber arm tube and inverted bearing design ensures perfect tracking, even with demanding cartridges. Highly flexible, top-grade copper internal wiring is used. The RPM 10 Carbon is delivered with Ground it Carbon equipment base and top-grade 5P phono cable Connect It CC with RCA plugs.

Optional RPM 10 Carbon Superpack includes Sumiko Blackbird Cartridge

    Blood Bunny/Black Rabbit

Befitting of The Black Heart Procession, Blood Bunny/Black Rabbit takes the experimentation hinted at on last years critically lauded Six and expands upon it in bizarre and brilliant ways. Centered around three stunning new songs, the collection is arranged and mixed as one continuous composition, sounding every bit like an LSD-influenced DJ set in the kind of terrifying but strangely alluring vampire sex den commonly seen in True Blood. Its the ideal atmosphere for The Black Heart Procession, where they feel most comfortable and sound most in control.

The set is rounded out by a series of remixes, most notably the eccentric freak-out Freeze by legendary dub pioneer Lee Scratch Perry and ambient electronic luminary Eluviums 10-minute orchestral reconstruction of the solitary piano ballad Drugs. Jenkins remixes a couple of tunes himself under the guise of Mr. Tube, and San Diego electronic producers Jamuel Saxon close the album with an unlikely downtempo dance reworking of Drugs that transforms the songs morose lyrics into a meditative, almost hopeful trance.

If Blood Bunny/Black Rabbit was supposed to be a stop-gap between albums, no one seems to have told the band as much. It is easily one of The Black HeartProcessions more compelling and intriguing releases of their extensive and impressive catalog.

Rickie Lee Jones on Numbered Limited Edition 180 Gram LP from Mobile Fidelity

Rickie Lee Jones' Hip, Jazzy Debut as Fresh Today As It Was in 1979

Mastered from the Original Master Tapes: At Last, the Definitive-Sounding Edition of the Diversified Genre-Hopping Classic

Coolsville: Music Combines Finger-Snapping Style, Beret-Wearing Artfulness, Bohemian Pop Know-How

Double-Platinum Album Includes Top 10 Hit "Chuck E's In Love"

Rickie Lee Jones was hip before hipsters came of age. Wearing a beret, exuding supreme cool, and visually demarcating herself as a member of a bohemian underground, her image on the cover of her self-titled debut says as much about the singer-songwriter as it does the music within the grooves. Uninterested in coloring within the lines, Jones steps out, a dreamer in the post-punk age, an adventurous drifter seemingly deaf to the noisiness of her era. No wonder the work remains one of the most impressive opening salvos in history.

Mastered from the original master tapes, Mobile Fidelity's 180 gram LP edition of Jones' double-platinum 1979 smash finally gives listeners the ultimate version of this long-adored masterpiece. Always prized by audiophiles for its sonics, the record now breathes with a clearer air, with enhancements in dynamics, imaging, soundstaging, and frequency extension apparent seconds after the needle touches down on the opening grooves. Jones' singular, jazzy vocals-straddling territory between youthful surprise, street-smart sharp, and grown-up seriousness-take on stupendously lifelike qualities to the extent you can hear into her lungs.

Emerging from a quiet Los Angeles scene that also laid claim to Tom Waits, a former love interest, Jones reflects an undiminished capacity for fusing folk, R&B, pop, jazz, and scatted word poetry on an effort that matches the flexibility and elasticity of the artist's creative approach. As if playing games of hide and seek, Jones often dances around conventional syllabic phrases, using her delivery to stretch language and vowels, turning in diction that's at once gorgeous and enterprising. She taps into a subtlety of texture and ambience well beyond her then 23-year-old age, inserting sly humor when apt, and never shying away from raw emotion.

Renowned for the Top 10 hit "Chuck E's In Love," Rickie Lee Jones overflows with finger-snapping be-bop accents, funky cabaret melodies, bluesy bridges, soothing balladry, and even Westernized fills. Subdued complexities flavor the arrangements, expressly tailored for Jones' portrait-rich storytelling and character-driven narratives. Such diversity is on display on the metaphorical heartache of "Last Chance Texaco," reflective "Company," and corner-hangout musings of "Danny's All-Star Joint." Throughout, intricate guitar lines give listeners further reason to concentrate on the tunes. This one is simply a must-have.

    Unattended Luggage (Pre-Order)

Nick Mason is one of the biggest selling artists of all time. A co-founding member of Pink Floyd, he is the only constant member of the group, performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows. In May of this year, Nick debuted his new band Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets with four intimate shows in London (Camden Dingwalls 20 May and The Half Moon in Putney 21, 23 and 24 May) to an incredible reception.

    Unattended Luggage is a further celebration of Nick Mason and his undeniably significant contribution to music. The set contains;

'Fictitious Sports' - Nick's debut solo album which was originally released in 1981 and saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley.

'Profiles' - A collaboration with 10cc guitarist Rick Fenn, it was Nick's second album outside of Pink Floyd and was released in 1985 as 'Mason + Fenn'. This is a mainly instrumental album except for tracks 'Lie for a Lie', which features vocals from Maggie Reilly and former bandmate David Gilmour and 'Israel', sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.

'White of the Eye' - A soundtrack for a British thriller movie of the same name, Nick once again collaborated with Rick Fenn. Originally released in 1987, in conjunction with the film's release, this is the first time the record has been made available for over 20 years, and the first time it will appear on CD.

Nick Mason says, These recordings hold a very special place for me in my musical life. 'Fictitious Sports' developed initially from working with Mike Mantler, Carla Bley and Robert Wyatt on a couple of their projects, and benefited enormously from a whole crew of great musicians that I was introduced to by them at Grog Kill Studios in Woodstock.

"'Profiles' and 'White of the Eye' were an extension of working with Rick Fenn on some advertising and short documentary film soundtracks, which then developed into something more.

    Fits & Starts

LP Packaging Features Custom Adhesive Wrap & 16 Page Booklet

For the tenth volume of FRKWYS, composer,
percussionist and sound designer david Van
tieghem alongside ten younger artists from
across the avant spectrum become a bulletin
    of Fits & Starts.

In July of 2012, RVNG Intl. was invited to participate in Bulletin Boards, a group
exhibition at Venus over manhattan curated by White Columns' gallery director matthew
Higgs. An extension of an ongoing project which resides in the entrance of White
Columns' downtown New York gallery, Bulletin Boards featured 24 artists/entities, each
given a new bulletin board as an inspirational starting point.

In 1981, David Van Tieghem produced the experimental music video Ear To The
Ground. The film features Van Tieghem "playing" downtown New York City, a world
in which Van Tieghem established his rhythmic roots as a member of the love of life
orchestra, a frequent collaborator with laurie anderson, and a player on steve reich's Music
For 18 Musicians, robert ashley's Perfect Lives (Private Parts) / Perfect Lives and david Byrne
and Brian eno's My Life in the Bush With Ghosts among other seminal recordings including
    his own.

In Ear To The Ground, all city surfaces become communications-or bulletins-under
Van Tieghem's twiddling, thwacking and thumping thumbs. Partially inspired by this and
by our blank but physically limited canvas space, Van Tieghem agreed to take part in
a sequence of improvised performances and creative editing to become part of our
    FRKWYS series.

We also invited ten younger musicians to post objects to the board. A cross section of
present day New York artists were represented by way of sam Hillmer as diamond terrifier
(with the aid of max alper), Future shuttle, Georgia, roberto Carlos lange as Helado negro,
darren Ho, eli keszler, Hiro kone and megafortress, alongside the regionally sympathetic
Blanche Blanche Blanche and maxmillion dunbar.

In place of business cards, broadsheets, and flyers, the objects/communications
contributed were broken toasters, firecrackers, 2x4s, thunder drums and customized
electronics, each intended as a percussive device. On opening night, the bulletin board,
disguised as assemblage, welcomed David's dialogue.

In the spirit of Ear To The Ground's infinite conversation, Van Tieghem returned to
Venus Over Manhattan to "play" the bulletin board without an audience. The process
of Van Tieghem discovering and responding to the objects/bulletins again was multitracked in high definition.

These recordings were then presented to the ten contributing musicians for further
translation, "remix" and interpretation. For the final sequence, the unique pieces were
delivered to Van Tieghem to edit and embellish as the sound collages presented as Fits
& Starts across two album length sides of our tenth volume in the FRKWYS series.

The Leeloo was cheeckily named after the main character in the movie The 5th Element Love! Leeloo is a unique amplifier combining headphone amp and stereo with dedicated taps for each and a volume control to provide easy integration with any source. Leeloo is the best of single-ended bliss, ultra linear power and mild feedback for improved frequency extension and noise floor. Paring a single 12ax7 in the preamp section with a pair of EL84s, the SE-84 doesn't require an external preamp and can be driven to full output with an iPod or smartphone. Coupling caps are high grade Wima, we use 2% resistors, and our usual robust power supply including massive choke regulation to drive the D/C ripple and noise floor to the lowest levels we every seen. The SE-84 driven by an iPod makes a fantastic combo for a 2nd system or smaller room. 2.6 watts may not seem enough, but the bass presence and sound stage will make a convert of you. Perhaps the most astonishing feature of Leeloo is the 1watt into 32ohm loads able to drive even the most demanding headphones with ease.

The SE-84 is small in physical size (12"x 10") and built into a gorgeous Solid Eastern Walnut Cab with ebony corners. The finish is hand rubbed lacquer. The SE-84 will be at home in your rack or as a statement piece in your office.

Each amspandsound amp is built with attention to grounding schemes - star grounding and use of common ground contributing to its very low noise floor and wide bandwidth. Leeloo pairs well with most speakers 89db and above, but like all our amplifiers it is quiet enough to use with full-range or horn-loaded speakers having 100db efficiency and above. Speakers that can go cleanly down to 30hz really bring out the very best of the amp.

Leeloo is handmade with pride in Southern California with US-sourced parts, including our precision transformers.

"Roberts is carving out her own aesthetic space, startling in its originality and gripping in its historic and social power." - Peter Margasak

"Primarily interrogating her own sense of identity as an African American woman, Roberts calls upon numerous other voices - from her family's history, her culture's mythology - to create living artifacts of collective cultural memory: simultaneously disorienting and exhilarating in their chaotic multiplicity." - The Quietus

"Roberts is a major talent." - The Wire

Matana Roberts is one of the most acclaimed, socio-politically conscious and aesthetically intrepid composers, band leaders, horn players and experimental sound practitioners of the past decade. Her multi-chapter Coin Coin work, which Constellation began documenting in 2011, has placed her at the forefront of stylistic
innovation and radicalization, transcending jazz - or any other genre boundaries - while confirming the deep substance and soul that guides her compositional agenda. Following the critical accolades that the first two Coin Coin chapters have thus far received, the past year has been marked by further career-defining
recognition for her body of iconoclastic work: Roberts was a recipient of both the Herb Alpert Award in the Arts and the Doris Duke Impact Award in 2014.

Roberts has long employed the phrase "panoramic sound quilting" to describe the
process surrounding her Coin Coin work. The third chapter in her Coin Coin series
finds Roberts implementing this metaphor most explicitly, constructing a sound art
tapestry from field recordings, loop and effects pedals, and spoken word recitations,
alongside her saxophone and singing voices. Coin Coin Chapter Three: river run thee
could arguably be considered first and foremost a vocal work, and notwithstanding
its experimental and esoteric structure, a deeply narrative work as well. Not unlike
2013's Coin Coin Chapter Two: Mississippi Moonchile, the new chapter unfolds as an
uninterrupted album-length flow, this time in what Roberts calls "a fever dream" of
sonic material, woven in surrealist fashion. Fragments of traditional song act as the
main touchstones on the album, with Roberts' singing voice riding atop waves of
radiophonic texture, layered spoken word and an often dislocated, wandering horn

Working once again with engineer Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, and returning again to
Montreal's Hotel2Tango studio (the location for her Chapter One recording in 2010),
Roberts ran the river run thee tape back multiple times, adding new layers in real
time, from start to finish (as opposed to calculated, isolated overdubs). The result is
a visceral audio document that combines structure and improvisation in the fullest
sense: not just in the playing and performing, but in the very marrow of the work's
compositional DNA. It is also, for the first time in the Coin Coin cycle, a solo work,
emerging from a lengthy solitary road trip Roberts took through the American South
in early 2014, amassing historical and documentary information through interviews,
    site visits and field recordings.

Coin Coin Chapter Three: river run thee signals yet another highly adventurous and
socially engaged definition of what Jazz can mean in this day and age, and a
fascinating extension of the Coin Coin cycle, where rather than surfacing and
reactivating through the group dynamics of a musical ensemble, history is inhaled
and exhaled through a solitary practice seeking to evoke and echo its tangled
    thicket of febrile strands.

Ever since moving operations from his parents' basement in Tacoma, Washington to Brooklyn, 20 year old Brad Oberhofer has been carefully honing his own brand of bedroom pop, which is as affecting and genuine as it is naively chaotic.

Charmingly skewed and ramshackle, Oberhofer's classic, melody heavy indie rock sound manages to meld Brian Wilson sized hooks with expansive instrumentation and kooky, unpredictable song structures. The intense production mixes programmed drums with jittering live percussion and centers his exuberant yelps amongst keys, xylophones, whistles and washes of wall of sound guitar

NOTALGIA; a five-track EP of new material, written and recorded in a Brooklyn studio following the band's extensive touring of their glittering debut album, Time Capsules II, last year. Some of the new tracks were written in the wake of Brad Oberhofer losing a friend to drugs, a deeply saddening experience which inspired the feelings and themes explored within the new set of songs.

When people are addicted to drugs or depressed, they are often sucked into a world that makes it impossible to think beyond sadness or to absorb any emotional support from friends and family, Oberhofer tells Rolling Stone. In the past few years, I've lost some friends to things like this. In those situations, there was nothing I could have said to help them. They couldn't have heard me if they'd tried.

Remastered By John Webber At AIR Studios

Ornette Coleman recorded one of the greatest bodies of work in jazz during a 22-month-long burst of creativity. Between 1959 and 1961, the saxophonist and composer released six studio albums on Atlantic Records that helped usher in the avant-garde, free jazz movement.

Those albums, along more than two hours of session outtakes, are featured together in the 10-LP boxed set ORNETTE COLEMAN: THE ATLANTIC YEARS, featuring newly remastered audio by John Webber at AIR Studios. Several of these titles are long out-of-print on vinyl. The Ornette Coleman Legacy, featuring six songs originally released for the first time in 1993 as part of Rhino's CD boxed set Beauty Is A Rare Thing, making its vinyl debut.

On most of his Atlantic albums, Coleman recorded with a quartet that included trumpeter Don Cherry, plus either Charlie Haden or Scott LaFaro on bass, and either Billy Higgins or Ed Blackwell on drums. One notable exception is Free Jazz, a ground-breaking single-track album where Coleman led a double quartet through a nearly 40-minute collective improvisation. The stereo mix used for the album separates the quartets into different channels; one on the right and the other on the left.

Coleman worked extensively with producer Nesuhi Ertegun on the music featured in this collection. Their partnership began in 1959 with Coleman's Atlantic debut, The Shape of Jazz To Come, an album the Library of Congress added to its National Recording Registry in 2012.

Among the albums included in THE ATLANTIC YEARS are three compilations that Atlantic released in the 1970's: The Art Of Improvisers (1970), Twins (1971), and To Whom Who Keeps A Record (1975.) These albums include outtakes from recording sessions for all six of Coleman's studio albums.

    Alpocalypse

Weird Al Yankovic is back and just in time for the Alpocalypse! Actually, Alpocalypse is the title of his eagerly anticipated 13th album. Weird Al has reigned for over 25 years as the best-selling musical comedy artist in history, with over 12 million albums sold, four Grammy Awards (eleven nominations), 10 MTV/VH1 specials, his own feature film, a Disney Channel special, a CBS television series and countless miles logged on tour.

Als prior album, Straight Outta Lynwood (released in 2006) introduced him to an entirely new generation of fans, debuting in the Top 10 of the Billboard Top 200 (a career best) and featuring his first ever Top 10 single, White And Nerdy. In the five years since, Al has gone from triumph to triumph including publishing his first-ever childrens book (which hit the NY Times bestseller list), extensive coverage on National Public Radio, an A&E Biography special, a career-spanning Essential collection, and an appearance at the prestigious All Tomorrows Parties music festival in the UK.

In April 2011, Al announced that his new parody of Lady Gagas smash hit single Born This Way, titled Perform This Way, had not received her approval and therefore he would not release it commercially. Moments after he posted it online, however, she changed her mind and gave her blessing.

Alice in Chains, one of the darkest bands to emerge from Seattle in the early 90's. Their 1992 album 'Dirt' was a milestone in the grunge-genre. Tuned down guitars with massive gloomy vocals courtesy of guitarist Jerry Cantrell and enigmatic vocalist Layne Staley proved a killer combination.

'Dirt' is one of those masterpieces that wasn't meant to be, as it was written while the band was on tour only to let their demons out.

After extensive tours with Ozzy Osbourne and Van Halen the album ended in the top 10 of Billboard. The album closes with the superb grunge anthem Would? which was also featured in the movie Singles

Unfortunately singer Layne Staley died of a drug overdose in 2002 which ended the band abruptly.

Alice in Chains returned to the forefront with a new album and singer in 2009. At the same time we offer the original and groundbreaking sound of Alice in Chains's Dirt on 180 grams audiophile vinyl.

    New Jersey

In 1988 New Jersey spent 4 straight weeks at No. 1 in the U.S. and spawned five Top 10 singles ('Bad Medicine;' 'Born To Be My Baby;' 'I'll Be There For You;' 'Living In Sin;' and 'Lay Your Hands On Me') - the only rock album in history with that many Top 10 hits. Bon Jovi originally envisioned the New Jersey project as a double-LP, using the working title Sons Of Beaches. But in the end, Mercury Records released the album as a 12-track single LP and the band renamed it simply New Jersey, in honor of their home state.

Bon Jovi had perfected a formula for hard pop/rock by the time of New Jersey, concentrating on singalong choruses sung over and over again, frequently by a rough, extensively overdubbed chorus, producing an effect not unlike what these songs sounded like in the arenas and stadiums where they were most often heard. The lyrics had that typical pop twist -- although they nominally expressed romantic commitment, sentiments such as Lay Your Hands on Me and I'll Be There for You worked equally well as a means for the band and its audience to reaffirm their affection for each other.

    You Know Who You Are

Having recorded five albums in ten years and toured extensively in support of all of them, Nada Surf - singer/guitarist Matthew Caws, bassist Daniel Lorca, drummer Ira Elliot and guitarist Doug Gillard (now official fourth member, more on that later) - opted to follow 2012's cracking The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy with a brief but well-earned hiatus. So in January 2015, when Caws informed Nada Surf's vociferous Facebook following that a new record was just about done, the news was greeted with explosive enthusiasm.

The music was in the can, he announced, and all that remained was to finish up a few lyrics and sing a few vocals; something he planned to do on off-days off during an upcoming solo acoustic tour. Caws even included a photo of the recording set-up he was bringing in the car. "I was so eager to have an album done that I believed in it as it was," Caws recalls. "But the great thing about being 'finished' is that you can take a breath and evaluate, because the pressure to 'do it' is gone. The more I listened and thought about it, the more I realized that I might want to keep working. Also, I'd sent the tracks to my friend Josh, who runs Barsuk Records, the label we've been on since 2002, and he said 'It's great,' but followed that with a pregnant pause. I got the message. I didn't take that as a critique as much as a belief that I could do better. It was very freeing."

And lo and behold, what would have been another really good Nada Surf album (their seventh since getting signed to a major in the go-go 90's and scoring a worldwide alterna-hit with "Popular") became what could well be the most representative collection of the group's two-decade career, all while pushing towards whatever comes next. Captured in the album's 10 tracks is every beloved facet of the band, but You Know Who You Are also finds much on offer that stands apart from anything previously heard in the band's diverse catalog.

    Tape Club

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin has never been the type of band to write and record only when it's time to release a new album.

Prolific writers with a penchant for recording, the group's constant devotion to the art of songwriting has equipped them with a myriad of material spanning the entire length of their 10 years together.

And now, with three full-length releases to their credit, the members of SSLYBY feel it's time to properly unveil a portion of the songs from their extensive catalog.

The result is Tape Club -- a carefully curated 26-song collection that serves as the culmination of a decade's worth of writing and recording above and beyond what could be included on their previous records and which stands by itself as a truly unique album.

Tape Club documents the story of the band aurally -- beginning with lo-fi home recordings (of the type found on their self-recorded debut Broom) and ending with more polished studio tracks (like those found on the Chris Walla-produced Let It Sway).

For those unfamiliar with SSLYBY, Tape Club serves as an introduction to the evolution of the band's musical vision, while at the same time providing surprises for even the most ardent of fans.
