ElvisMastered by Joe Reagoso and Kevin Gray from the Original RCA Records Tapes
Elvis Aaron Presley was born during the great depression into a poor family in Mississippi. They moved to Memphis during the early '50s, and as a struggling young truck driver, he cut some demos at Sun Studios as a gift for his beloved mother Gladys. These initial songs, of which he had only paid a few dollars to record, would become the catalyst that would kick-start the career of a soon to be worldwide superstar unlike the world has ever known.
Elvis had the amazing ability to sing both R&B and country simultaneously. This with the persona and choreography of a Hollywood movie star on stage, the young Elvis Presley was soon touring, and over the year achieved a number of regional hit singles, electrifying audiences into frenzies wherever he performed.
The folks at RCA Victor knew that this young fellow named Elvis was destined for superstardom. They quickly bought out his contract and signed the legend to a long term deal, and his first RCA single Heartbreak Hotel forever etched 'The King Of Rock And Roll' trademark to his name. In 1956 after a chart topping debut LP, his second smash #1 album simply called Elvis truly proved once again that his career was unlike any other in music history.
Filled with more energy than a fireball, the Elvis album took off with the Little Richard classic rocker Rip It Up. Another chart topping single followed with the much revered Love Me, a song which he would perform well into the '70s. The album also featured more smash hits like the Otis Blackwell/Elvis Presley rocker Paralyzed, a blues belter Arthur Crudup revisit with Elvis interpretation of So Glad Youre Mine, and Red Foleys tender ballad about mans best friend Old Shep. In total, the album showcases twelve important Elvis Presley recordings which have truly stood the test of time.

The Happiest LambSince arriving in Los Angeles, Audra Mae has landed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, a TV placement singing Bob Dylan's Forever Young on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, a record deal with SideOneDummy Records, and in late 2009, co-wrote Who I Was Born to Be, the only original track on Susan Boyle s chart-topping, 9 million-selling I Dreamed a Dream album. It has turned out to be a dream come true for the 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Oklahoma.
Growing up, show business was in Audra Mae's blood. She is the great grand niece of the late Judy Garland and her grandmother turned her on to country and folk artists like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Woody Guthrie, while her grandfather introduced her to jazz.
Audra Mae is a natural without a doubt. The Happiest Lamb, produced by Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem, Lucero) spotlights Mae's incredible voice and her songs are timeless affairs augmented with minimal accompaniment, including acoustic guitar, piano, mandolin and sometimes mournful accordions.1. "If you can get people dancing as early as noon. You're good. They did." - NPR 'All Songs Considered'
"Ghost Beach are the Venn diagram of their influences-Peter Gabriel, Talking Heads, The Police, and Daft Punk
-and then some, thanks to a shitload of synths, some nostalgic 80s sonics and even the occasional reggae groove.
The sound is unmistakably their own." - VICE's Noisey
Ghost Beach, the New York-based duo of Josh Ocean and Eric "Doc" Mendelsohn, bring together the two worlds of
electronic and live performance whose sound is self-described as "Tropical Grit Pop." "We like writing pop music. We
draw a lot from the 80's, including Peter Gabriel, The Police and Talking Heads," says Ocean. "Their music incorporated
synthesizers and drum machines, had tons of energy and it had a very eclectic sound. From a songwriting standpoint, that
is where we draw our inspiration and today we attempt to bridge the gap by using a similar sonic palette in combination
with modern recording technologies including Ableton." added Mendelsohn.
On their debut full-length album Blonde, Ghost Beach once again perfects a blend of retro and futuristic soaring synth-pop, none more so evident than in the searing single "Miracle." Blonde features a mix of newly recorded material and
a handful of tracks from the bands self-released Modern Tongues EP. All previously released songs will be remixed,
re-mastered and enhanced for the forthcoming release.
Ghost Beach is not purely electronic or purely a live band, but a realization of what lies in the middle. Josh plays the jilted
lover with vocal panache as Eric's soaring synths, guitars and forever young harmonies are plucked right out of Neverland.

Chart-Topping 1974 Record Reunites Dylan With the Band: Interplay Alone Worth Experiencing Set in Highest-Possible Fidelity
Mastered from the Original Master Tapes: Mobile Fidelity Version Brings Underrated Gem to Fullest Light With Warm, Revealing Sound
Edgy Personal Album Captures Legendary Artist Straddling Line Between Romance and Suspicion: Includes Beloved Favorites "Forever Young" and "You Angel You"
Bob Dylan's Planet Waves became an event even before the album was released and revealed itself as an understated masterwork. His first studio recording in nearly four years, the homespun 1974 effort finds him reuniting with the Band, by then firmly established as virtuosos. The chemistry is obvious on every song. And the modest and spare production only magnifies the honesty and purity of the collaboration. Mobile Fidelity's 180g LP deepens the music's emotional connection and rustic warmth to the fullest possible extent.
Mastered from the original master tapes, this collectable audiophile edition brings to the surface the communal interplay and warm, relaxed vibe established by Dylan and the Band. Listeners will finally sense the sensitive tones made possible by the ensemble's laidback nature and watertight playing. The deep body of Richard Manuel's piano, pinpoint decay of Garth Hudson's organ, and clarity of Dylan's vocals emerge with new perspective. As a result, Planet Waves leaps from the background of Dylan's catalog into the fore, the revelatory sonics helping earn the record serious consideration as one of the Bard's finest.
Recorded in just three days time, Planet Waves is at its core an exhibition of the inimitable folk-rock honed by Dylan and the Band. Recalling the Americana spirit of The Basement Tapes while adding a domesticated edginess and subtracting a degree of wildness, the set personifies simple charm and scraggly sweetness. Couched in the context of Dylan grappling with the chasm between family life and the road, Planet Waves fittingly encompasses myriad moods and contradictions, with tunes ranging from unquestionably devotional to overtly dark. In between, the singer attempts to navigate peace, catharsis, and resolve.
Per Dylan's hallmark, many tunes on Planet Waves involve twists and subterfuge. Not, however, the best-known offerings-the often-covered wish "Forever Young," celebratory roll-and-tumble "On a Night Like This," devotional "You Angel You," which spark with love, romance, and prayer-like tenderness. Yet the seeds that blossomed into 1975's traumatic break-up album Blood on the Tracks are also planted here. Complex feelings and deep-seated personal confusion surface on "Wedding Song," the hardscrabble "Tough Mama," piano-centered "Dirge," and knocking-on-heaven's-door darkness of "Going, Going, Gone."
Throughout, Dylan's voice supplies subtle hints about his mindset and intent as the Band shadows him step for step, adding to the thematic ambivalence and contributing to a debate over meaning that continues today. Indeed, such relevance confirms the significance of Planet Waves 40 years after its original release. Mobile Fidelity's analog version digs beneath the surface and helps expose the record's buried strains.

Come To LifeCities Aviv first garnered attention in 2011 with his debut release Digital Lows, in which he created a lush soundscape by casting an array of musical influences, along with the rich heritage of Memphis rap, into the alchemical cauldron and set it to boil. Digital Lows attempted to shine light into the murky depths of interconnected living in the material plane, and explore the detritus of a technological life, while also lyrically conveying the growing pains of the new self. 2012's Black Pleasure, sonically challenged listeners, as the rich tones of Digital Lows began to deconstruct into a blown-out and gritty resonance, transporting listeners to a separate reality where the lines of pleasure and pain are entangled and debauch is the natural order. Amid this chaos, Aviv pummeled listeners with an appeal to assess their own realities, habits, and processes, and asserts that "Life is Real," a seemingly simple statement, yet a fact that is often taken for granted. His third album Come to Life sees Aviv come full circle- finding a balance amid the turbulence of burgeoning adulthood in the URL and IRL, and arising from the transformative flames as a harbinger of the new paradigm. Aviv's street gospel stylings affix themselves in union with the eternal essence, and exist outside of the confines of trend, genre, or time-signature, flowing organically within the digital corridor. While his work will forever remain personal, Come to Life is also universal, and petitions listeners to reclaim their individualities, their dreams, and their true desires. ADAD-ANTI-6814xLost In The Trees
A Church That Fits Our NeedsA Church That Fits Our Needs, the second album by North Carolina group Lost In The Trees, is underway, announcing itself as a work of vaulting ambition, a cathedral built on loss and transformation. In the summer of 2009, Ari Picker, writer, composer and architect of the band, lost his mother, an artist in her own right, when she took her own life. Picker was in the midst of releasing his bands debut album, All Alone in an Empty House, a collection of folk-inflected songs that surprised with its orchestral arrangements, to an acclaim usually reserved for seasoned veterans: both heart wrenching and beautiful, said Paste, while the Huffington Post called the album spellbinding in its musical ambition, touching in its intimacy, and often overwhelming in its emotional honesty. Picker took the loss of his mother and set about transforming the events into a tribute, composing, writing lyrics, his mothers picture above his writing desk: the same picture that now graces the albums cover. I wanted to give her a space, in the music, to be, and to become all the things she didnt get a chance to be when she was alive.
The result is A Church That Fits Our Needs, an album that can stand beside musical journeys like Neil Youngs Tonights the Night and Bon Ivers For Emma, Forever Ago. Pickers astonishing voice, an instrument that veers from Carl Wilsons emotional purity to the otherworldly abstractions of Thom Yorke, opens our window into this intensely emotional music. While this might sound like a somber affair, A Church That Fits Our Needs is anything but. Picker, a classically trained composer, has Shostakovich and Stravinsky at his fingertips, but the music on this album speaks just as much to his love of Phil Spector and old film scores. Above all this is pop music, in the way that A Day In the Life or Radioheads No Surprises are pop music, seeking to present complex ideas to the widest possible audience. This is the album Picker set out to make, a celebration of the woman he calls a warrior, and a testament to the power of music to heal and transcend.1. Moment One

'Children of the stars' is a rose tinted look back at the bands' youth, relating to 90's kids alike who wish to live in that period of time forever. Taking heavy inspiration from Australian electro pop - the track offers a slightly different flavour to their previous releases. REDD-RAM-6798xTimothy Seth Avett As Darling
IVLETTER CONCERNING THE RECORD 'IV' AND A POST SCRIPT TO FANS
A lot can happen in twelve years. It is beyond probable (if not brutally unavoidable) that such a period of time could render a man nearly unrecognizable to his older self. I would not categorize the young man who made three records under the pen name 'Darling' (incidentally, me) as unrecognizable, but I can say perhaps that we are vaguely disassociated. Those 3 albums, written between 1999 and 2005 and recorded anywhere except a recording studio (the bulk being tracked in my bedroom and parents' garage) follow the exceedingly lonesome course of a kid barely out of high school through a shaky introduction to manhood. They were recorded alone (with cheap microphones) composed alone (with expensive sentimentality), defined by loving befuddlement, and darkened by an all-consuming breakup. I look at them now with an appreciation for where I was, with no small measure of gratitude that I am no longer there. What has not changed however, is that there are still songs that come along which make sense in my mind as fitting only on a 'Darling' record. Truthfully, in the decade-plus that has passed since I last released a solo piece, there have been many songs of this nature. Consequently I have written, designed, edited, and put this record out many times in my mind. Inevitably, however, life would change and the conceptual direction would change with it. It is changing now as I write this. But after twelve birthdays, twelve New Year's Eve's, and twelve winters, I have a portrait I am compelled to commit to the canon of self-portraits.
I am no longer the kid with all that worry, that blaring hurt and rum-fueled uncertainty. I am somewhere else now. But I still sit in my bedroom, quietly following songs where they take me, using them to process what is happening in my life. I have often declared to myself, that I would not leave the 'Darling' moniker forever tied to what I now regard as a time of young (albeit sincere) melancholy. And while this fourth installment is by no means an offering of pure and bright optimism, it is a statement less heavy with heartache, and hopefully a bit more even-keeled in its manner - whatever the emotional narrative. More importantly, it is a honest glimpse into my story alone and a faithful rendition of what I believe to be a notable chapter.
For those interested in the Darling project:
To say that activity of one form or another relating to my solo work is infrequent would be a bit of an understatement. In truth, as time goes, I am thankfully occupied primarily by the joys of my family and the pleasure of making music with my brother and some of my dearest friends. When, however, there are endeavors of the Darling variety on the horizon, I would be honored to let anyone interested know about it. If you count yourself among this set, please feel free to share your email address below. I can say, as someone who religiously declines giving my email out when a cashier asks for it, and as someone who somehow spends more time unsubscribing from email lists than answering emails, I will ONLY pass the word along when there is a word to pass meaning something significant like an upcoming album or confirmed performance(s). Once again, I realize that giving any part of your contact information out is a significant action, and I believe it should be seen as such. In other words, I won't be arranging for emails to go out about anything but relevant 'Darling' news. As always, thank you for your time and care.

King Of The Delta Blues Singers Vol. 1Insert
If one would ever have to start assembling a serious Blues collection, Robert Johnson's King Of The Delta Blues Singers vol. 1 would be the best purchase. The mythical figure that inspired the worldwide Blues revival in the Sixties will forever be credited with inspiring guitar greats like Clapton and Hendrix to pick up a guitar.
Johnson lived a short but impactful musical tenure in the Thirties. After apparently 'selling his soul at the crossroads', Johnson quickly became the best Country Blues singer in his time, however a tormented one. The devil eventually took his soul at a too young age of 27. The remastered audio of this original 1961 collection of material is simply stunning - Robert Johnson never sounded so alive.1. Mastered Impeccably & Pressed At R.T.I.
Elvis Aaron Presley was born during the Great Depression into a poor family in Mississippi. They moved to Memphis during the early fifties, and as a struggling young truck driver, Elvis cut some demos at Sun Studios as a gift for his beloved mother Gladys. These initial songs, of which he had only paid a few dollars to record, would become the catalyst that would kick-start the beginnings of a soon to be worldwide superstar unlike the world has ever known. The folks at RCA Victor knew that this young fellow named Elvis was destined for superstardom. They quickly bought out his contract and signed the legend to a long-term deal, and his first RCA single Heartbreak Hotel forever etched The King Of Rock And Roll trademark to his name. He would eventually become the most successful solo artist of all time!1. Hound Dog

CBGB: Original Motion Picture SoundtrackWATCH OUT! PUNK IS COMING!
By the end of 1973, New York City was bankrupt, Watergate had compromised the credibility of the U.S. government, and the Carpenters were the bestselling
young recording act in America. Rock 'n' roll was dead!
Enter Hilly Kristal, who dreamed of running a country & blues bar in the Bowery. Instead, the club he opened, CBGB (Country, Bluegrass, Blues) became
the birthplace of punk and underground music. CBGB was the modern-day salon for the disenfranchised youth of New York City and Kristal gave these
young local bands a stage. Artists such as the Talking Heads, Blondie, Patti Smith, Ramones, Dead Boys and Television all started at this iconic club.
The story of Hilly Kristal and his legendary club will be coming to theaters this October when CBGB hits the big screen. The film has an all-star ensemble cast headed by Alan Rickman (the Harry Potter series, Die Hard) who plays Kristal. Co-starring with Rickman will be Malin Akerman (The Proposal,Suburgatory), Ryan Hurst (Sons Of Anarchy), Ashley Greene (The Twilight series), Johnny Galecki (The Big Bang Theory), Stana Katic (Castle) and
Rupert Grint (the Harry Potter series).
Omnivore Recordings is proud to present CBGB: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on CD and naturally, double-LP (with first pressing on translucent
pink vinyl). An essential collection of songs that made the punk movement, CBGB presents twenty slices of original American music, many rarely
compiled or unavailable for years. The soundtrack contains music from influential artists that informed the scene (The Velvet Underground, The Stooges
and MC5), to acts that broke through with huge commercial acclaim (Talking Heads, Blondie and The Police). And there's even music from bands whose
legendary status will forever be linked to the club that gave them a voice (Dead Boys, Television. Wayne County, The Dictators and more).

Live 1969This 1969 live recording from Mount Carmel High School in Houston represents the final stage appearance by the original lineup of Texas garage combo Fever Tree. With two strong studio LPs for UNI Records behind them, the group began to fragment from internal struggles. Consequently, the label asked for one more album. The group complied and the results are contained in this previously unreleased concert recording, presented here in 180 gram vinyl.
Sharpening their chops on the Gulf Coast circuit, followed by a high-profile opening night gig at Hollywoods legendary Kaleidoscope, Fever Tree developed a keen sense of musical drama and dynamics. This versatility is in sharp display on the concerts rendition of their underground radio hit San Francisco Girls (Return of the Native). For the rest, Live 1969 focuses on groovers, a perfect set-up for the gliding fuzztones of lead guitarist Michael Knust, the sonic organ of Rob Landes, the thick rhythms provided by E.E. Bud Wolfe III on bass and John Tuttle on drums ,and the dynamic, driving lead vocals of Dennis Keller.
Dont Come Crying to Me Girl, a song originally found on the bands second album, levitates the band beyond any earthly confines. Elsewhere, the set moves between a soaring cover of Donovans Hey Gyp, their own power pop Grand Candy Young Sweet and a whirlng psych take on Wilson Picketts Ninety-Nine and One Half (Wont Do). Playing as if their lives depended on it, Live 1969 captures a band at the height of its powers, forever preserved on this final audio testament.1. Grand Candy Young Sweet

Appetite For AdrenochromeColored Vinyl
Step back into our little rock and roll time machine.... don't worry, we're not going TOO far back, let's say how about 25 years? To a time when a younger Kepi Ghoulie rounded up a bunch of guys named John (yes, John Vetter on bass, John Rudgers on guitar, John Sosa on drums) and drove from L.A. to Sacramento to record his FIRST FULL LENGTH recording as the GROOVIE GHOULIES! (recorded by a guy named John, no less!) Recorded in two days (yes TWO DAYS, all musical tracks were laid down on a Saturday, vocals and mixing on Sunday), the band rehearsed and recorded the entire album in the sequence that you hear it on the record, to save time and money and be as prepared as they could! Listen closely and you will hear anywhere from two to five songs connect musically without any interruption whatsoever! A crash course in 80's rock, punk, garage, and underground/indie pop, Appetite For Adrenochrome reflects the urgency of a bunch of young bucks trying to get their message out, and also is a fun little time capsule of the mad, mish-mash of music that was going on in Los Angeles at the time, with bands like Redd Kross, Haunted Garage, Celebrity Skin, and up-and-comers L7 and GWAR... The Groovie Ghoulies played showsand found camaraderie in these like minded, go-all-out, fellow rock bands. This era also found them playing great events, like a Herschell Gordon Lewis (2,000 Maniacs) film fest/lecture, years before Rob Zombie and the Ramones started hosting events in the Hollywood Forever cemetery. The Groovie Ghoulies have always been a bit of Hollywood Outsiders, never quite fitting in to certain genres and pigeon-shaped holes, and with Appetite For Adrenochrome, you can kind of see the evolution of little Kepi taking his home made drum machine recordings out of the basement and to the streets with the first semi-solid, fully electric line up of a musical legacy that lasts until this day! Bob Dylan In Concert: Brandeis University 1963Last Known Archival Recording of Dylan Before He Became a Star
Professionally Recorded on 7-Inch Reel-to-Reel Tape: Phenomenal Sonics Capture the 21-Year-Old Bard Solo and Acoustic
Features Stripped-Down, Intense Versions of Songs from the Then-Forthcoming The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and Still Long-Off The Times They Are-A Changin'
Early, archival insights into the burgeoning genius of a young Bob Dylan don't come any better than this: A previously unknown live recording of a 21-year-old Dylan taped at the Brandeis First Annual Folk Festival in Waltham, Massachusetts, on May 10, 1963, Bob Dylan In Concert - Brandeis University 1963 captures the rollicking wit, deadpan delivery, and driving intensity of the young artist's onstage persona in an assortment of end-of-the-world songs (none of them commercially available at the time) performed in front of an appreciative audience two weeks prior to the release of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. Indeed, these two performances took place just weeks before Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind became a smash for Peter, Paul, and Mary and months before his appearance at the Newport Folk Festival would forever change the course of music history.
The Bob Dylan In Concert - Brandeis University 1963 concert tape was discovered recently in the archives of the noted music writer and Rolling Stone co-founder Ralph J. Gleason, where it sat on a shelf for more than forty years. It had been forgotten, until it was found last year in the clearing of the house after my mother died, said Toby Gleason, Ralph's son. It's a seven inch reel-to-reel that sounds like it was taped from the mixing desk.
Drawn from two sets that spring night at the Brandeis Folk Festival, tracks on Bob Dylan In Concert - Brandeis University 1963 include Honey, Just Allow Me On More Chance (incomplete), Talkin' John Birch Paranoid Blues, Ballad Of Hollis Brown, Masters of War, Talkin' World War III Blues, Bob Dylan's Dream, and Talkin' Bear Mountain Picnic Massacre Blues.
Previously available as a limited time offer, Bob Dylan In Concert - Brandeis University 1963 has been reissued in response to overwhelming popular demand for a wide release. The new Columbia/Legacy edition features liner notes penned exclusively for this release by noted Bob Dylan scholar Michael Gray, author of The Bob Dylan Encyclopedia and the three-volume Song & Dance Man: The Art of Bob Dylan, who provided an explication of the album's seven songs and historical/cultural context for the performances.1. Johnny Cash Greatest Hits Volume 1First Time on Audiophile Vinyl
Gatefold Cover presentation of his classic 1967 multi-platinum Greatest Hits LP!!!
Mastered impeccably by Joe Reagoso and Kevin Gray from the original Columbia Records tapes
Manufactured at R.T.I.
Johnny Cash was born during the great depression into a poor family in Arkansas. At a very young age he worked on the family farm
and experienced many of life's struggles. This is also the time he would develop his love for music, family and the Bible, which followed him
closely throughout his long career. In the early fifties after spending time in the Air Force, he moved to Memphis, became friends with folks
like Roy Orbison, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis, and ultimately cut some sides at Sun Studios which became the catalyst
that would kick-start the beginnings of a soon to be worldwide superstar, troubadour and humanitarian unlike the world has ever known.
The folks at Columbia Records knew that this young fellow named Johnny Cash was destined for superstardom. They quickly signed
the legend to a long term deal, and his first Columbia singles like his prolific Don't Take Your Guns to Town forever etched "The Man In Black"
trademark to his name.
In 1967 after many chart topping country and pop albums and a bevy of hit singles and Grammy Awards, more fame followed as the
brass at Columbia Records honored their journeyman Johnny Cash with his first hits collection, the multi-platinum Johnny Cash's Greatest
Hits Volume 1.
The album was a blockbuster as it topped the charts, making this a crossover hit with both country and pop audiences, proving once again that his career was of historic merit.
Filled with more hits than a roadside jukebox, the amazing album takes off with the classic duet with wife June Carter Cash and
Grammy Award winner Jackson. This chart topping single is followed up by one of his most famous songs the number one I Walk the Line.
More treasures follow with the country belter Understand Your Man and Cash's own hit interpretation of Orange Blossom Special, which truly
made the album a treasure trove of hits.
More greatest hits follow as the LP features a nice helping of solid smashes like Ring of Fire, Five Feet High and Rising, the aforementioned Don't Take Your Guns to Town, and probably one of the first Bob Dylan covers ever with his haunting It Ain't Me Babe. In total, the
album showcases eleven important Johnny Cash recordings which have truly gone on to become international classics for all time.
