Pretty On The Inside (Colored Vinyl)Pink Colored Vinyl
Hole's debut album originally released by Caroline in 1991 was produced by Kim Gordon and Gumball front man Don Fleming. Pretty On The Inside was named album of the year by The Village Voice and the only single released, Teenage Whore, entered the UK indie charts at number one. Graphic lyrics, distorted guitar riffs, screaming vocals, and messy punk ethics helped the album sell over 600,000 copies worldwide and established Courtney Love's long running cult status.1. The 4th album of Hole was a huge commercial achievement, successfully bridging the gap between Grunge and guitar Pop. The band revolving around Kurt Cobain's widow Courtney Love carved a niche for themselves as the seminal female fronted Grunge group. Established in 1991, the band functioned as a cathartic outlet for enfant terrible Love, which makes their work incredibly compelling. Their 1998 album Celebrity Skin revealed a polished, energetic sound. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins co-wrote 5 songs on this superb album, among which the title track and "Malibu", both of which were released as singles.1. Celebrity Skin

Live Through This (Awaiting Repress)
Ranked 460/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
This is the second studio album by alternative rock band Hole. The title is derived from a quote in the film 'Gone
With The Wind.' Considered a contemporary classic, this record was included in Rolling Stone Magazine's list of
'500 Greatest Albums Of All Time.' Features production by Sean Slade and Paul Q Kolderie with mixing by Scott Litt
and J Mascis.
This whole album is filled with scathing fury, mostly directed at the impossible situation that confronts women when they are asked to be both wild sources of pleasure and unblemished mother figures. Live Through This uses the same recipe of punk and metal wrapped around pop melodies that made Nirvana so captivating, but Hole uses the methodology in a more conventional manner. The metal ingredient tends to dominate, perhaps because it's the simplest to master, and too often the album resembles early Heart or late Joan Jett--particularly when Courtney Love opens up with her big, wailing voice. Love externalizes her anger, blaming all her problems on the rest of the world. Self-confrontation makes for far more interesting songs. -Geoffrey Himes1. Violet

As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohio, Trent Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Tackhead).
The result was the first Nine Inch Nails album, 1989's Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor. The Blind Hole (Awaiting Repress)Atlanta's ultimate killing machine DEAD IN THE DIRT releases The Blind Hole, the faction's debut full-length recording, via Southern Lord.
As witnessed on the trio's previous works, 2010's Vold EP and first release for Southern Lord, 2011's Fear 7", as well through their vicious on-stage presence, DEAD IN THE DIRT crushes everything in their path with a vehement and volatile crust/hardcore attack. Inspired by the scriptures of His Hero Is Gone, Left For Dead, Infest and DropDead, the faction creates some of the most morose and tonally oppressive music conceivable, all fueled with enraged socio-political lyrical content and straightedge/Vegan ethics.
The Blind Hole surges with twenty-two tracks in less than twenty-four minutes, their downtuned, caustic riffs packed into the melee creating the most destructive blasting DEAD IN THE DIRT material yet. Though surging with crushing distortion, the album boasts incredibly clear production values, recorded at Bricktop Recording Studio with Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos) in Chicago, and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, All Pigs Must Die, Baptists, Sleep). Black Holes In The SandThis year Gravenhurst celebrates a decade of work on Warp Records with the reissue of two classic albums, Flashlight Seasons and Black Holes In The Sand, and an additional new album: Offerings: Lost Songs 2000 - 2004, a compilation of unreleased material from that period. 2004's Flashlight Seasons quickly earned Gravenhurst a devoted fan base, consistently strong support from the music press, and cemented Nick Talbot's reputation as a unique talent, and one of the most original British singer-songwriter and producers of his generation. Black Holes In The Sand, a noisier and more overtly lo-fi record of dark pastoral psychedelia firmly established an enduring Gravenhurst aesthetic: enigmatic lyrics, ghostly vocals and virtuoso finger-picked guitars against a backdrop of cinematic, shape-shifting, semi-conscious sonic textures; subliminal transmissions from the surrounding landscape. These two records established Gravenhurst as a place; a place of revenants. Plotting a journey from the unquiet graves of the unjustly accused, through the dark temptations of the city to the ancient rituals of the forest, Gravenhurst is a musical treasure map of sigils and coded clues, where the very earth itself has a message to convey. Offerings: Lost Songs 2000-2004 is a collection of previously unheard recordings quickly deemed worthy of an exclusive release. Alongside eight previously unheard songs are two early demos that differ from album versions in intriguing ways and the result is a carefully selected and coherent collection.1. Riding on the success of More Than Words, Extreme II - Pornograffitti became the breakthrough album for the Bostonian rockers Extreme.
Carried by the silky Funk Metal riffs of guitar god Nuno Bettencourt and vocal gymnastics of Gary Cherone, Extreme took the world by storm following their second album in 1990. Combining Glam with Pop, Extreme carved out a niche for themselves propelled by a lot of MTV play for More Than Words and Hole Hearted. The album tells a broader story than both hits: powerful Glam with out-of-this-world solos are the bread and butter of this album.

In 2014 we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Soundgarden's massive album Superunknown which to date has sold 9 million albums worldwide and is
certified five times platinum by the RIAA in the US. Both a critical and commercial success, in 1994 Superunknown debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts
and earned the band two Grammys® for the singles "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman" in 1995. As relevant today as they were in 1994, the multplatinum-selling Soundgarden continues to be in the Top 10 most played artists on Active Rock radio and the band's top 4 most played radio songs accumulating over 1 million in total airplay and 4 billion in total audience to date - are all from this very beloved album: "Black Hole Sun," "Fell on Black
Days," "Spoonman" and "The Day I Tried To Live." In 2003, Rolling Stone ranked the album as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the 100
Greatest Albums of the Nineties.
The 20th anniversary of Superunknown is a global priority and the band is very involved in the reissue celebration. In 2014 Soundgarden is touring the US and Europe in support of this Superunknown 20th anniversary and their latest album, 2012's King Animal - their sixth album total and their first in sixteen years - debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 and

Five Leaves Left (Awaiting Repress)Nick Drake's bucolic autumnal shades in his debut album of a similar name, heralded a new signing for Island Records: not traditional enough to be folk,
not weird enough to be psychedelic, Drake avoided the pitfalls of what was expected and collaborated with producer Joe Boyd, orchestrator Robert Kirby
and recording engineer John Wood to make a singular and almost unique record released to a largely indifferent media.
A few leaves fell in the right place and Nick's reputation grew, despite his early death at 24 in 1976, escalating into the world-wide fame he enjoys today.

Howlin' Mercy is the third album by American slide blues guitarist, singer and songwriter John Campbell. Born in 1952 he started to play Delta blues at an early age, listening to and influenced by his peers like Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Lightnin' Hopinks. He performed in clubs in Texas and New Orleans before settling down in New York. It was in New York that his live performance came to fruition which led to his signing with Elektra Records in 1991.
This album was made before his untimely death due to heart failure in 1993 and contains a bluesified Led Zeppelin cover When The Levee Breaks.
Additionally songs like Firin' Line, Written In Stone Down In The Hole (written by Tom Waits) and Wolf Among The Lambs are proof of Campbell's roots playing the blues.

Medicine For BirdsSinger and songwriter Angelica Garcia's journey down the rabbit hole began when she moved to Accomac, Virginia. Graduating from Los Angeles School for the Arts, the 17-year-old native Angeleno found herself living in a 200-year-old gothic brick home encircled by magnolia trees and under a blanket of bright stars. Her stepfather traded a career in the music industry for Episcopalian priesthood, and an Eastern Shore church would serve as his (and the family's) first congregation. Isolated and alone, Angelica locked herself in the parish house and fashioned a musical world that veers between ghostly gorgeous countrified blues and sly swamp Americana. With a childlike whimsy, quirky sense of humor, and dynamic delivery, it could easily soundtrack an apparitions' ball in some Faulknerian mansion. Upon first listen, it entranced Warner Bros. Records. Recorded by Charlie Peacock [The Civil Wars, Switchfoot] in Nashville, her full-length debut Medicine For Birds unlocks this world for everyone in 2016.1. Little Bird

Heaven Is In Your MindTraffic was one of the most original and influential British groups of the 1960s, gathering a diverse set of individual talents in vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood, singer/guitarist Dave Mason, drummer Jim Capaldi and reeds player Chris Wood. The foursomes expansive talents and formidable creative chemistry allowed the musicians to integrate an array of folk, jazz, pop and R&B elements, infusing their eclectic stylistic mix with a playfully psychedelic spirit that perfectly captured the experimental sensibility of the times.
Traffics historic 1967 debut LP (produced by noted studio vet Jimmy Miller) was released in the U.K. as Mr. Fantasy, but initially reached U.S. shores in altered form as Heaven Is in Your Mind/Mr. Fantasy. The American edition featured an altered track listing and new cover art with Winwood, Capaldi and Wood but not Mason, who had quit the band prior to the albums release.
The U.S. LP added the British singles Paper Sun, Hole in My Shoe and Smiling Phases to the albums running order, along with a short snippet of the U.K. single Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush as a recurring motif between tracks. The American edition also tacked on the short closing track Were a Fade, You Missed This, which is actually the fadeout of an alternate version of Paper Sun. The American LPs title was quickly amended to Mr. Fantasy, and it was under that name that most stateside fans came to know the album, with the original U.S. edition becoming something of a rarity.
In any form, and under any title, Heaven Is in Your Mind/Mr. Fantasy ranks as one of the most audacious and inventive rock albums of its time. Such catchy tunes as Paper Sun, Hole in My Shoe and Heaven Is in Your Mind combine stylistic adventurousness with effortless melodic appeal, while more introspective numbers like Dear Mr. Fantasy and Coloured Rain capture early stirrings of prog-rock and jazz-fusion.
Sundazeds new vinyl edition of this seminal vintage disc completely restores the albums rare original U.S. cover art. The LP also features the albums incredibly rare mono mix, which differs substantially from the albums more familiar stereo mix. Pressed on pristine high-definition vinyl, Heaven Is in Your Mind/Mr. Fantasy now looks and sounds better than ever.1. Paper Sun

Sho' NuffWillie Dixon once told Wild Child Butler, You are the moan of the suffering woman, the groan of the dying man. You ain't nothing but the blues.
Here's a man who's been heavily praised by Dixon, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Jimmy Rogers just to name a few; a man who those blues legends were proud to accompany. As traditional as the blues on this album are, there's no mistaking a Wild Child tune. They can't be played this way by anyone else - not so boisterous, not so Wild Child. His blues sometimes sound angry and raw, other times soft and country-polished.
This release offers a fine mix of Wild Child's down-home acoustic sound, his slow, muscular blues and his up-tempo shuffle or snapping blues. As Wild Child himself said, If you can't dig these blues, you got a hole in your soul [to borrow from a Jimmy Rogers saying]. Talkin' 'bout sho' 'nuff.
George 'Wild Child' Butler is one of the last original, hard-workin' delta bluesmen. Although his career started not until the 1960s, the old times' tradition is still clearly heard on his music. You may call it blues, you may call it southern soul, you may even call it rock 'n' roll, but you just can't categorize him to any particular field. There's just one George Butler, and then there are the others. - Butcher Pete Hoppula, Wang Dang Dula!...It's Time To Rock'n'rolla!

Cartridge Alignment Tool/Cartridge Protractor
An alignment protractor is used to find the correct distance from stylus tip to tonearm pivot.
When aligning a cartridge for tangency using the alignment protractor, it is essential to remember that you are attempting to align the cantilever (and, hence, the stylus), not the cartridge body. There is no guarantee that the cantilever is perfectly aligned within the cartridge body, so simply aligning the cartridge body will not necessarily produce the desired result.
Furthermore, many cartridge bodies have non-parallel sides, making tangential alignment of the cartridge body with the lines of tangency on the gauge virtually impossible.
An alignment protractor is a plastic template onto which are printed the null point(s) and lines of tangency against which the cartridge should be aligned. The template is placed over the turntable's spindle (made possible via a spindle-sized hole drilled in the template) and placed against the platter.
Cartridge must be adjusted until the cantilever is parallel to the set of parallel lines. And this should be achieved for both the indicated points. When the cartridge's longitudinal axis is parallel with the horizontal lines, tracking error will be at a minimum.$11.00Alignment Tool Buy Now
Loose PowerWhen Unwound broke up in 2002, the pioneering post-rock band left a hole in the musical firmament that dozens of acts have been trying and failing to patch up in the years since. Try as they might, they could never quite reach the perfect balance of tension and release, spiny and smooth that made the Olympia-based trio's work so damn powerful.
Bringing together two ex-Unwound bandmates Justin Trosper and Brandt Sandeno, Survival Knife is another bracing and energetic shot to the dome by these singular songwriters, and one that they are eager to embrace.
Getting to this point, however, took some doing. Unlike all of his former musical brethren, singer/guitarist Trosper didn't have any interest in music after Unwound split. Instead, he moved to Los Angeles for a stretch, going to school and helping other bands with recording projects. But after returning to his hometown of Olympia, the itch to take up his guitar against the world returned, and, with the help of longtime musical companion Sandeno and his friends Kris Cunningham (drums) and Meg Cunningham (bass), Survival Knife was born.
The quartet already garnered a great deal of attention. The West Coast has already had a taste of what Survival Knife has to offer thanks to plenty of NW dates and a tour the band did last year with Modest Mouse. Once Loose Power is in the world, there will be little hope of holding back and soon we'll all be following Survival Knife into the abyss.1. Divine Mob

Future's Past (Awaiting Repress)DAVE MASON--Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and TRAFFIC co-founding member--has announced the release his new album, FUTURE'S PAST (Something Music/MRI) featuring new versions of his classic songs plus new material that he has written and performed on tour over the last few years. Renowned for such Traffic hits as Feelin' Alright (covered by Joe Cocker) and Hole In My Shoe plus his solo signature tracks We Just Disagree and Only You Know and I Know, MASON's acclaimed solo career continues to flourish as he tours the U.S. with his new project billed as DAVE MASON'S TRAFFIC JAM.
The cover art illustration for FUTURE'S PAST was done by none other than Mr. Graham Nash from a photo he made of DAVE while at Nash's place in Hawaii.
Of the new release, MASON says, There is a great version of 'Dear Mr. Fantasy' that is kind of a re-write. There is a version of 'World in Changes' that is absolutely nothing like the original and there is a great live version that is absolutely beautiful of 'Sad and Deep as You.' There are two or three songs that were on a CD called 26 Letters 12 Notes that I did seven years ago, a Robert Johnson song, 'Come On in My Kitchen' and a brand new song called 'That's Freedom.'
