    I'm Not Dead

Limited Edition Double LP On Pink Colored Vinyl

    First Time On Vinyl!

I'm Not Dead, P!NK's fourth studio album, was originally released on April 4, 2006 (the sixth anniversary of the release of her debut, Can't Take Me Home) and shattered P!NK's self-imposed three-year hiatus. Much more than a hugely successful comeback record, I'm Not Dead was a declaration of P!NK's commitment to pop-rock excellence, merging provocative lyric content to deep dance grooves. The album featured P!NK's first two RIAA platinum singles: the notorious Stupid Girls, a Top 20 Billboard 200 hit that earned the artist an MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Video, and the Top 10 smash U + Ur Hand. Certified RIAA double platinum in the US, I'm Not Dead was an international sensation, going double platinum in Canada and Australia, where it spent 62 consecutive weeks in the Top 10 and became the #1 top-selling album by an American or a female artist for two years in a row (2006 and 2007). I'm Not Dead became P!NK's first #1 album in Germany.

    b'lieve i'm goin down...

Kurt Vile does his own myth making; a boy/man with an old soul voice in the age of digital everything becoming something else, which is why this focused, brilliantly clear and seemingly candid record is a breath of fresh air. Recorded and mixed in a number of locations, including Los Angeles and Joshua Tree, b'lieve I'm goin' down... is a handshake across the country, east to west coast, thru the dustbowl history ("valley of ashes") of woody honest strait forward talk guthrie , and a cali canyon dead still nite floating in a nearly waterless landscape. The record is all air, weightless, bodyless, but grounded in convincing authenticity, in the best version of singer songwriter upcycling. In Kurt's words, "I wanted to get back into the habit of writing a sad song on my couch, with nobody waiting on me. I really wanted it to sound like it's on my couch -- not in a lo-fi way, just more unguarded and vulnerable." It's a weird, accepting, mature record, acknowledging the inherent immaturity of being a person whether father, husband , partner, adult, musician, not perfect, but compelling for its understanding that's life though so sad to say - Kim Gordon

    Borrow A Horse

Old Calf formed as a duo in the small, but musically vibrant town of Charlottesville, VA by Ned Oldham (The Anomoanon, Palace Music) and accordionist Marty Metcalfe, slowly accruing members on route to recording their debut album. Michael Clem (bass, mandola, dead-on harmonies) and Brian Caputo (percussion) round out the group of Southern gentlemen, who tightened up their sound rehearsing in Neds garage, and performing around town on weekend nights.

Demos were cut this past summer, of which Oldham says, Im sure Ive never had a clearer plan of how a record should go before, and its true that the finished album is near identical in sequence and structure. Touching on ground most groups do not know exist, Borrow A Horse is rich with melody and instrumentation, its simple songs rooted in folk and bluegrass, and presented in a swirl of psychedelia. Its a near-perfect album, forged in history, created in the present, and timeless in sound.

    I Am Gemini

I Am Gemini is the surreal and powerful musical tale of Cassius and Pollock, twin brothers separated at birth. One good and one evil, their unexpected reunion in a house that is not a home ignites a classic struggle for the soul, played out with a cast of supporting characters that includes a chorus of angels and devils, and twin sisters conjoined at the head.

Recorded in the Summer/Fall of 2011 at Omaha, NEs ARC Studios and mixed at Red Room in Seattle, WA with producer Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Minus The Bear, Isis), I Am Gemini marks the first time front man Tim Kasher, holding the completed story already in mind, wrote album lyrics in a linear fashion, in order, from start to finish. The result is thirteen singularly cohesive song chapters that blend effortlessly into one unique narrative. The moody and playfully sinister I Am Gemini is Cursives musically heaviest in years, with alternately muscular and angular guitars, pounding drums and driving bass.

From the eerie introductory sounds of epic barnstormer This House Alive and the irresistibly catchy, insistent The Sun and Moon, to the searing Double Dead and the split personality prog-pop of Twin Dragon/Hello Skeleton, to the roaring, mournful closing track Eulogy for No Name, the album is a dynamic, mind-bending, and imaginative ride.

Cursive is the longtime trio of Tim Kasher (vocals, guitar), Matt Maginn (bass), and Ted Stevens (guitar, vocals), with Patrick Newbery (keys) and Cully Symington (drums). I Am Gemini, the bands seventh LP, is the follow-up to 2009s critically praised Mama, Im Swollen.
