    Angel Of Retribution

Angel of Retribution is the fifteenth studio album by British heavy metal band Judas Priest, originally released in 2005. It is the band's first album since Painkiller (1990) to feature Rob Halford. The album debuted at #13 on the US Billboard chart, which made it the third highest chart of a Judas Priest album (the second being Nostradamus and the highest being Redeemer of Souls). The album was produced by Roy Z, who co-wrote the song Deal with the Devil.

Unleashed In The East: Live In Japan

Unleashed in the East is Judas Priest's first live album, recorded live in Tokyo, Japan during their Hell Bent for Leather Tour in 1979. It was originally released in September 1979 and became the band's best-selling album up to that point, reaching the US Top 100 and the UK Top Ten. Eventually, the album became one of the five Judas Priest albums to gain a RIAA platinum certification. It is the first Priest album to be produced by Tom Allom who would remain at the helm for the next decade for the band, and the last release to feature drummer, Les Binks.

    Judas

The band Fozzy has really always been about one thing: having fun. What started out for guitarist Rich Ward as a weekend cover band soon became an internationally signed act with the biggest star in professional wrestling, Chris Jericho, as its lead singer. Their first few releases still had Fozzy playing covers but with adopted stage names and a backstory written for the movies. When you have such high-energy performers like Ward and Jericho - it still is debatably on who jumps higher, Ward on stage with his guitar or Jericho in the ring - creating a 'for fun' band was easy, however Ward and Jericho aren't just entertainers. Ward is probably one of the greatest and unjustly so, underrated riffers in rock and metal today. Jericho singing ability and overall passion for music makes one wonder just how he is able to find the time to excel in pretty much everything he does. It was these qualities that pushed the band to drop alter egos, get rid of the backstory and write original music.

Over the course of the next 7 years, the band did just that; three albums worth to be exact. The records were fit in between Jericho's wrestling, TV and writing career. It wasn't until 2012's Sin & Bones though that the band really started to hit their stride. Jericho was winding down his involvement with sports, the band was touring more than ever before and their live show was as strong as ever. The entertainment, the fun factor, the showmanship were all there and in full force. More so than any point in their band's career.

I'd be on stage looking out in the crowd and see such an interesting mix of people out there, comments Jericho, young kids, older long haired guys with ponytails, the denim and leather wearing dudes, Stuck Mojo fans, people that just knew me from my wrestling career, but the thing is they all had one thing in common; they were having fun. They were dancing, grooving, whether they wanted to or not. To me, that's what Fozzy has always been about and I think with this new record, we really captured that vibe.

    In Search Of Black Judas

In Search of Black Judas blasts off with hardcore riffs and monstrous grooves, delivered with classic Bad Brains fire and fury and the quickness to shift into downtempo reggae passages. Its a heady and intoxicating mix of sounds that continues a quest for innovation and soulful vibes, anchored by Darryl Jenifers rock steady lines.

From the stripped down rub-a-dub of Babylon Leave Me Alone to the dark and ominous Trinity Rub, an excursion into post-punk-dub akin to PIL or The Ruts, Jenifers inventive bass builds a rock-steady foundation on each track. Black Slavery Dayz Mosh is a charging reggae groove featuring Bad Brains vocalist HRs twisted and treated vocals. With Intricate, spacious and detailed production In Search of Black Judas is an aural pleasure and long awaited addition to an already grand legacy.

    Stained Class

Stained Class is the fourth album by British heavy metal group Judas Priest, originally released in February 1978. It is the first of three albums to feature drummer Les Binks. It gained notoriety for its dark lyrics and themes, as well as 1990 civil action trial where the band was accused of backmasking that led to the suicide attempts of two teenagers. Stained Class was ranked as the greatest Judas Priest album on Stereogum.com, and was described by Steve Huey on Allmusic.com as "Judas Priest's greatest achievement."

    Point Of Entry

Point of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was originally released on 26 February 1981.

In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight from their album British Steel. As a result, the band pursued a more radio-friendly direction on Point of Entry.

Following the conclusion of the British Steel World Tour, the band began work on their next project. By this time, they had sufficient funds to fly all their equipment to the huge, state-of-the-art Ibiza Studios in Spain. This gave Point Of Entry a louder, stronger, more live sound than previous Judas Priest albums.

    Sad Wings Of Destiny

The groundbreaking Sad Wings of Destiny was the first great Judas Priest album, simultaneously taking the entire heavy metal genre to new depths of darkness and new heights of technical precision and musicality. The album was an important milestone in the eventual development of the progressive metal subgenre, and established a standard of excellence to which Judas Priest would adhere through the remainder of the '70s.

    Redeemer Of Souls

CLASSIC JUDAS PRIEST METAL ON THE WAY WITH THEIR 17TH ALBUM 'REDEEMER OF SOULS'

There are only a select number of bands that have accomplished what Judas Priest has throughout their career (as well as having served as a stylistic influence on such a wide variety of bands). Soon the group - singer Rob Halford, guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, bassist Ian Hill and drummer Scott Travis - will be offering up more classic Judas Priest metal with the release of 'Redeemer of Souls'

'Redeemer of Souls' is Judas Priest's latest collection of epic metal - raising the bar is consistent for us and 'Redeemer' hits the ground running - it matches up perfectly to earlier Priest classics as evidenced by the album's leadoff single 'March of the Damned'
(we are forging ahead, slamming the pedal to the metal!) - the band mean business once again.

We feel 'Redeemer of Souls' reinforces our passion for what we believe in from the Judas Priest style heavy metal. The album also marks Richie Faulkner's studio debut with Priest and is the co-writer of the material along with Glenn Tipton and Rob Halford.

First bursting onto the scene with 1974's 'Rocka Rolla' Judas Priest is responsible for some of heavy metal's all-time great albums - 1980's 'British Steel', 1982's 'Screaming for Vengeance', 1990's 'Painkiller' etc - and anthems 'Breaking the Law', 'Living After Midnight', 'You've Got Another Thing Coming' etc - as well as trailblazing metal's now instantly identifiable look - leather and studs - 2014 marks the 40th anniversary of the band.

And while fans are undoubtedly starved for more Priest (their last studio album 'Nostradamus' was released in 2008) the band themselves are eager for the world to hear their latest studio triumph. Classic combination of all the statements we love to create with raging guitar riffs and solos, thundering drums, thick grooves of bass and vocals tearing it all up!

    Killing Machine

Killing Machine on Numbered Limited Edition LP from Mobile Fidelity Silver Label

Smoking-Hot 1978 Set Released as Hell Bent For Leather in the United States

Produced by Pink Floyd The Wall Engineer James Guthrie: Uncompromising Album and Exacting Performances Remain Hard Rock and Metal Bedrocks

Marries Streetwise Aggression to Commercial Accessibility, Overflows With Confidence, Boldness, and Diversity

Includes Metal Standards Hell Bent for Leather, Evening Star, and Delivering the Goods

Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI

Released the same year as the equally pivotal Stained Class, Killing Machine cemented Judas Priest's standing and reputation as the world's foremost metal band of the late 1970s. Further diversifying its music and sporting increased confidence, boldness, and full-bodied songwriting, the album managed a then-unprecedented task of appealing to mainstream tastes via its impeccably solid production, creative prowess, and staggering melodies. Known in the United States as Hell Bent for Leather, Killing Machine remains a titanic release no matter the name.

Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's world-renowned mastering system and pressed at RTI, this Silver Series numbered limited edition LP broadens the scope of the original production, helmed by none other than Pink Floyd The Wall producer James Guthrie. Besting those on all previous editions, the low-end thrust, high-frequency dynamics, and all-important midrange now come alive with unsurpassed detail and accuracy. Soundstaging and imaging positively explode before your eyes and ears, and instrumental separation allows insight into band's tight-fisted interplay.

Recognizing the era's potential and pushing to expand metal's horizons, Priest created music that at the time hadn't any peer. With proto-metal luminaries Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin experiencing career low points, and campy hard rockers following a softer path, the English quintet married street-bruising intensity to commercial accessibility without compromising any aggression, volatility, rawness, or ruggedness. Part of the success owes to Guthrie's expert hand. A majority, however, lies with the group's unrelenting ambition and variety-not to mention masterful performances.

Exemplified in the breakthrough "Hell Bent for Leather," as tough-as-nails resilient as any metal song and delivered by vocalist Rob Halford with a pronounced ruffian attitude as guitars blaze behind him, Killing Machine sparks with high-powered muscle and concise, exact rhythmic structures. Halford comes into his own throughout, sending his falsetto into another universe on the wide-open highway-driving anthem "Evening Star," evoking deep loss on the ballad "Before the Dawn," and attacking "Delivering the Goods" as if he's a mercenary. There's not a wasted note or moment of doubt on the album.

To author and metal expert Martin Popoff, music doesn't get any better. "To my mind, Killing Machine was the apex, the hallowed halls of heavy metal which Priest summarily occupied alone at this particular juncture in time," writes Popoff in his The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time. "The songs on this record sweat the corners and creases of all of metal's characteristics, Priest firing on and off all speeds, from quick and note-dense to positively glacial."

    Killing Machine

Killing Machine is the fifth studio album by British heavy metal band Judas Priest. With its release in October 1978, the album pushed the band towards a more commercial style; however, it still contained the dark lyrical themes of their previous albums. At about the same time, the band members adopted their now-famous leather-and-studs fashion image. It is the band's last studio album to feature drummer Les Binks.

    Show No Mercy

1983's Show No Mercy was the album that started it all for the thrash mercanaries and the album ultimately helped inaugerate in the speed and thrash metal movement of the '80s and the extreme metal underground of the '90s. Slayer incorporated the faster, darker elements of Judas Priest and melded it with the punk brutality of Motorhead and its apparent from the the all out assault of the opener Evil Has No Boundaries to the last note of the title track closer that they were a band to be reckoned with. Kill 'Em All

Metallica's debut album--originally released in 1983--is a masterpiece of thrash metal, and as good a marker as any for the debut of the genre. Fusing the rapid-fire attack of bands like Motorhead with a guitar style reminiscent of such British heavy metal bands as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, Metallica essentially created a new kind of metal. Several of the songs from this 1983 album have since become classics, including Seek & Destroy, The Four Horsemen, and Jump in the Fire. Essential for any heavy metal fan.

    Bad Luck

It was back in 2005 when Ed Gein released their last album, Judas Goats and Dieseleaters. Birthed in Syracuse, NY in early 2001 and propelled into the hardcore spotlight by critical acclaim, a raucous live show and an appearance on the Hellfast 2003 DVD, the ball started rolling and the band hit the ground running.

From 2005-2007, the band were road warriors, terrorizing the music scene with their spazzy, metallic-grind, laced with punk sensibility and political and socially driven lyrical content.

Their new record entitled Bad Luck sums up Ed Gein's life and unfortunes as a band on the road. Robbed, beat up, lost, broken down, crashed, robbed again, broken down, again and again...

    II

San Franciscos Pins of Light reside in that murky musical shadow-territory of the nearly unclassifiable. They craft a brutal and intricate mÉlange of metal, punk and prog that isnt quite any of those things. Pins of Lights most progressive moments are more Motörhead than Mothers of Invention; their metal is more Pink Floyd than it is Judas Priest; the elements of punk are a driving fistfight thats entirely the bands own. Singer and bassist Shane Baker, guitarists Jake Palladino and Ravi Durbeej, and drummer Phil Becker come previously (and currently) from such SF institutions as Dead and Gone, Night After Night, Hightower and Triclops (among a slew of others). The groups debut album II was recorded by Kurt Schlegel (Jello Biafra, Melvins, I Am Spoonbender) and Phil Manley (TransAm, The Fucking Champs) at Lucky Cat Recording and mixed by Becker in the bands hometown.
