The WaveDebut solo album from the former Keane frontman. Chaplin has called the process of recording a solo album a daunting prospect for someone who knows nothing else. Following the band's split, Chaplin began using drugs due to anxiety over the album and thought [he] was going to die in early 2015: When I finally liberated myself from years of spiraling addiction, a place of inspiration and creativity became available to me. I set about writing an album that documents my transition from the darkest recesses of human experience to a place of resolution, fulfillment and happiness. At long last I am comfortable in my own skin and have achieved that elusive dream of writing a set of songs I can truly call my own.1. Still Waiting

Out Of Time (25th Anniversary Edition)25th Anniversary Edition
Remastered Vinyl Versions Of The Original Album And The Demos
Includes Extensive Liner Notes By Annie Zaleski Featuring Interviews From All Four Band Members And Producers Scott Litt And John Keane
A quarter of a century after 'Out Of Time' helped break alternative music into the American mainstream and turned R.E.M. into a worldwide phenomenon, the band have announced a special 25th Anniversary Edition, out via Concord Bicycle.
'Out Of Time' will be released in a 3 LP Set which will include remastered vinyl versions of the original album alongside demo versions of every album track, as well as demos for two non-album b-sides and a previously unreleased song. The release also contains extensive liner notes by Annie Zaleski featuring interviews from all four band members and producers Scott Litt and John Keane.
The demos, recorded at John Keane Studio in early 1990 and featured on all versions of the 'Out Of Time' reissue, provide key insight into the band's creative process: from early instrumental passes to versions of Losing My Religion and Texarkana with different lyrics, and even a version of Radio Song that features a rare moment with drummer Bill Berry on lead vocals for a verse. While recording them, it was clear to Keane that R.E.M. were at their peak in terms of creativity."
By 1991, R.E.M. (Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, and Michael Stipe) had amassed a sizable following in the United States, but 'Out Of Time' brought the Athens, GA band unprecedented global recognition. It was the group's first album to top both US and UK charts, selling 12 million copies worldwide, and garnered 7 Grammy nominations, including wins for Best Alternative Music Album, Best Short Form Music Video (Losing My Religion"), and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal (Losing My Religion").
Instant classic songs like Losing My Religion," Shiny Happy People," Near Wild Heaven," and Radio Song" broke new ground, artistically and commercially. Reviewing 'Out Of Time,' Rolling Stone simply said, This may well be America's best rock & roll band." Earlier this year, Pitchfork called the album arguably their most important record," while Time Magazine named 'Out Of Time' one of it's All-Time 100 Albums, saying it contains ethereal beauty rarely heard on a rock record."LP 1

The Bill Evans Album (Speakers Corner)The global corporation Columbia recorded and released only two LPs with pianist Bill Evans. A meagre result when one considers the numerous concerts that the new trio undertook between 1969 and 1974. Together with Eddie Gomez, a phenomenon on the bass, and drummer Marty Mortell, the three established a firm - and ever better - trio. Evans became interested in the possibilities offered by the Fender Rhodes piano and used it for the first time in The Bill Evans Album.
The LP is remarkable in that only Evans's own compositions were recorded - three previously recorded pieces and four brand-new works. Of particular note is the melancholy Two Lonely People, Evans's musical interpretation of a poem by Carol Hall. Sugar Plum and T.T.T. were to remain in his repertoire right up until his very last recordings. Unusual but very commendable because it begins with an ad hoc introductory improvisation is the electric piano version of Evans's most well-known composition - Waltz For Debby.
The excellent technical facilities at the Columbia Studio were used to the full by Bill Evans, even though they were only recording a small ensemble. And that is why the seven numbers sound far better than most of the trio's live recordings. And as Bill Evans once said, it was with this trio that he could fulfill his musical ambitions.
- Bill Evans (piano, electric piano
- Eddie Gomez (bass)
- Marty Morrell (drums)

About Speakers Corner
At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Speakers Corner all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.
During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existant tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.
A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.
We should like to emphasise that Speakers Corner Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle. We have one digital recording in our catalogue (Alan Parsons / Eye In The Sky"), but even in this particular case we used the analogue tapes for cutting.
We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.
To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects - excluding the exception above - and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.1. Funkallero

A Monster Calls is a fantasy drama film about a boy seeking the help of a tree monster to cope with his single mom's terminal illness. Ancient, wild, and relentless, the Monster guides Conor on a journey of courage, faith, and truth.
The film is directed by J.A. Bayona who was inevitable praised for his previous directing work The Orphanage.
The critics site Rotten Tomatoes reports an approval rating of 85% for the film, based on 52 reviews, with an average rating of 7.4/10. The site reads, A Monster Calls deftly balances dark themes and fantastical elements to deliver an engrossing and uncommonly moving entry in the crowded coming-of-age genre.
The intriguing Score for the film is composed by Fernando Velázquez, who already had experience in the world of cinema and especially in the terror genre. He composed films like Devil, written & produced by M. Night Shyamalan, and the Guillermo del Toro-produced feature The Orphanage.
In 2010 he was one of eleven selected composers to create symphonic works for the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra. In the same year Film Music Magazine rated his score to 'Devil' as one of the best scores of the year, quoting Velazquez's brassily orchestral ambitions pay more of a blood oath to Bernard Herrmann and James Newton Howard, with the kind of churning, melodically rich symphonic sound that makes DEVIL's mostly elevator-bound setting anything but claustrophobic.
Two years later Film Music Magazine ranked his score to 'The Impossible' as one of the Top 10 scores of the year.LP 1

Nothing Bad Will Ever HappenOptimism is infectious, and there can be few more optimistic statements than the ttitle of the new album from Dignan Porch: Nothing Bad Will Ever Happen. As you listen to the warm-hearted, weirdo pop within, as you're drawn into their world, you might be inclined to agree with them. Nothing Bad Will Ever Happen is Dignan Porch's second album, though in many way it's their first. 2010's debut, Tendrils, was written and recorded a solo concern by singer Joe Walsh. Sempiternal (Awaiting Repress)Heralded as one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Bring Me The Horizon's upcoming fourth studio album, Sempiternal, is the defining sound of heavy music in 2013. Proving to be perpetual favorites among fans, the album's first single "Shadow Moses" came charging out of the gates after premiering on Zane Lowe's BBC's Radio 1, forcing Epitaph to post the song on YouTube a week in advance due to popular demand.
There's a very euphoric sound coursing through the album, a very uplifting but yet sad sound, says front-man Oliver Sykes. Electronically, it's far more advanced than anything we've done before.
The five piece, consisting of Oliver Sykes, Lee Malia, Matt Kean, Matt Nicholls and Jordan Fish, recorded Sempiternal over a three month period with super producer Terry Date (Linkin Park, Deftones, Soundgarden). The band also brought in David Bendeth (A Day To Remember, Paramore) to add to the all-star production line-up and mix the album.
Writing Sempiternal was a completely different process, comments Sykes. We worked from a computer, laying down ideas and riffs and working on them tirelessly until we had what we wanted. For the first time, Sempiternal sees a new member appearing on the record, Jordan Fish, who takes on keyboard duties on the record as well as during live performances. Bringing Jordan into the mix changed things completely; he opened up so many more possibilities.
Sykes goes on to say, The lyrical theme is everything. My head was a lot clearer when writing this time and it allowed me to write from a different perspective. It's the best stuff I've ever written in my opinion. It's very dramatic, quite blunt, and at times sarcastic, but the biggest part of it - is how it is combined with the music to bring the listener vivid imagery and emotion. I think we really managed to pull that off.
Sempiternal is an embracing ride through soaring vocals, supercharged melodies and what can only be described as spine tingling metal anthems. After the critical and commercial success of their previous albums, There Is A Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let's Keep It A Secret (2010) and their breakout success Suicide Season (2008), Bring Me The Horizon plan to take heavy music to the next level, incorporating the most dynamic elements of hard music to create the most exhilarating album of the year.1. Ain't Life Grand (Out Of Stock)Ain't Life Grand is the fourth studio album from Panic. It was first released by Capricorn Records and Warner Bros. Records on September 6,1994 and like Everyday, was never released on vinyl. The band got minor airplay for their cover of Bloodkin's Can't Get High, as well as their own Airplane. The band begun rehearsing for the album by recording pre-recording sessions at John Keane's home studio like their first album, Space Wrangler. They were so pleased with the results that they decided to use the sessions for Ain't Life Grand instead of going into the studio on a future date with their producer Johnny Sandlin.
