Killing Time (Discontinued)Killing Time is the debut album from the San Francisco, CA trio Terry Malts consisting of Corey Cunningham (guitar, backing vocals), Phil Benson (bass guitar, lead vocals) and Nathan Sweatt (drums, backing vocals). Displaying a slick, intelligent take on modern chainsaw pop, Killing Time certainly lives up to its name! Their heads-down live shows and immaculate power-pop songwriting have made this irreverent punk trio one of the most talked about up and comers. Mashing up the best bits from such stellar forebears as The Undertones, Buzzcocks and Descendents, Terry Malts haven't forgotten their roots or the fact that one of the key elements of punk has always been the pursuit of having a good time at all costs.1. Killing MachineKilling Machine on Numbered Limited Edition LP from Mobile Fidelity Silver Label
Smoking-Hot 1978 Set Released as Hell Bent For Leather in the United States
Produced by Pink Floyd The Wall Engineer James Guthrie: Uncompromising Album and Exacting Performances Remain Hard Rock and Metal Bedrocks
Marries Streetwise Aggression to Commercial Accessibility, Overflows With Confidence, Boldness, and Diversity
Includes Metal Standards Hell Bent for Leather, Evening Star, and Delivering the Goods
Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI
Released the same year as the equally pivotal Stained Class, Killing Machine cemented Judas Priest's standing and reputation as the world's foremost metal band of the late 1970s. Further diversifying its music and sporting increased confidence, boldness, and full-bodied songwriting, the album managed a then-unprecedented task of appealing to mainstream tastes via its impeccably solid production, creative prowess, and staggering melodies. Known in the United States as Hell Bent for Leather, Killing Machine remains a titanic release no matter the name.
Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's world-renowned mastering system and pressed at RTI, this Silver Series numbered limited edition LP broadens the scope of the original production, helmed by none other than Pink Floyd The Wall producer James Guthrie. Besting those on all previous editions, the low-end thrust, high-frequency dynamics, and all-important midrange now come alive with unsurpassed detail and accuracy. Soundstaging and imaging positively explode before your eyes and ears, and instrumental separation allows insight into band's tight-fisted interplay.
Recognizing the era's potential and pushing to expand metal's horizons, Priest created music that at the time hadn't any peer. With proto-metal luminaries Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and Led Zeppelin experiencing career low points, and campy hard rockers following a softer path, the English quintet married street-bruising intensity to commercial accessibility without compromising any aggression, volatility, rawness, or ruggedness. Part of the success owes to Guthrie's expert hand. A majority, however, lies with the group's unrelenting ambition and variety-not to mention masterful performances.
Exemplified in the breakthrough "Hell Bent for Leather," as tough-as-nails resilient as any metal song and delivered by vocalist Rob Halford with a pronounced ruffian attitude as guitars blaze behind him, Killing Machine sparks with high-powered muscle and concise, exact rhythmic structures. Halford comes into his own throughout, sending his falsetto into another universe on the wide-open highway-driving anthem "Evening Star," evoking deep loss on the ballad "Before the Dawn," and attacking "Delivering the Goods" as if he's a mercenary. There's not a wasted note or moment of doubt on the album.
To author and metal expert Martin Popoff, music doesn't get any better. "To my mind, Killing Machine was the apex, the hallowed halls of heavy metal which Priest summarily occupied alone at this particular juncture in time," writes Popoff in his The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time. "The songs on this record sweat the corners and creases of all of metal's characteristics, Priest firing on and off all speeds, from quick and note-dense to positively glacial."

Killing MachineKilling Machine is the fifth studio album by British heavy metal band Judas Priest. With its release in October 1978, the album pushed the band towards a more commercial style; however, it still contained the dark lyrical themes of their previous albums. At about the same time, the band members adopted their now-famous leather-and-studs fashion image. It is the band's last studio album to feature drummer Les Binks.1. Delivering the Goods

Time2013 release from the rooster-haired Rock icon, his first album of new material in almost 20 years. Time marks Stewart's long-awaited return to his songwriting roots and features 12 tracks, 11 of which he wrote and produced. Time was born from a burst of inspiration from which he rediscovered his voice as a songwriter and rekindled his gift for writing the honest, nerve-touching narratives that have been the cornerstone to the first three decades of his career. Since 1991, Stewart, the lyricist and melodist behind such staples as Tonight's The Night, You Wear It Well, You're In My Heart, The Killing of Georgie and the indelible Maggie May, had simply lost his songwriting muse. But, beginning in 2011, during the period he began working on what would become his internationally best-selling autobiography, Rod, it returned.1 She Makes Me Happy

Pleasure To KillRemastered Versions By Andy Pearce And Overseen By Mille Petrozza
Featuring New Art
Packed With Rare Photos And Memorabilia And Notes By Mille And Malcolm Dome (Metal Hammer) Talking About The Creation Of The Albums
Contains Kreator's Flag Of Hate EP
Pleasure To Kill, the second studio album by Kreator, was released in November 1986 originally by Noise Records. The lyrical themes follow those found on their first album. Unleashed in 1986 and still considered the band's first classic album, Pleasure to Kill raised the bar with more diversity of tempos and greater attention to technical execution while losing nothing in terms of ferocity or speed. The band closed out the year with the Flag of Hate EP (named after a re-recorded version of their earliest hit) which is included on this version. Many death metal bands cite this album as an influence. Pleasure To Kill is widely considered a thrash classic. It is also considered a landmark album in the history of thrash metal along with Master of Puppets by Metallica, Reign In Blood by Slayer and Darkness Descends by Dark Angel, all released in 1986.
Formed in Essen, Germany in 1982, Kreator is arguably the most influential and successful European thrash metal band ever, like many of their European speed metal brethren, Kreator fused Metallica's thrash innovations with Venom's proto-black metal imagery. Kreator has been referred to as one of the Big 4 of Teutonic thrash metal, and they are often credited with helping pioneer death metal and black metal by containing several elements of what was to become those genres. The band has achieved worldwide sales of over two million units for combined sales of all their albums, making them one of the best-selling German thrash metal bands of all time. Kreator's style has changed several times over the years, from a Venom-inspired speed metal sound, later moving into thrash metal, and including a period of transitioning from thrash to industrial metal and gothic metal throughout the 1990s. In the early 2000s, Kreator returned to their classic thrash sound, which has continued to the present.LP 1

Kill (Picture Disc) (Awaiting Repress)
25th Anniversary Limited Pressing
Original Uncensored Art On A Vibrant Picture Disc
Simply titled but meticulously assembled, Kill was recorded with producer Erik Rutan (Hate Eternal/ex-Morbid Angel) at Mana Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida. The tenth record of their storied career, each track basks in its own claustrophobic abrasiveness and maniacal subject matter. From the onset of the fiery The Time To Kill Is Now, guitarists Barrett and Pat O'Brien, vocalist George Corpsegrinder Fisher, bassist Alex Webster and drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz pummel with a renewed sense of urgency. Fast, furious and scrupulously timed, the tune is a palpable reminder that Cannibal remains a force to be reckoned. Make Them Suffer sears with an old school Possessed vibe (a band to whom Cannibal has paid homage to on several occasions), while Necrosadistic Warning, replete with a barrage of blistering solo work by O'Brien whose guitar deftness is often underestimated, comes riddled with visions of zombies sexually gratifying themselves with the body parts of! the beings they've slain. Other tracks like the telling Five Nails Through The Neck, Death Walking Terror, Brain Removal Device and instrumental closer Infinite Misery see the five-piece at their most cogent, both lyrically and musically.

Past TimeBassist/vocalist, Hannah Lew, drummer/vocalist, Lillian Maring and guitarist/vocalist,
Raven Mahon chose the name for their San Francisco-based three-piece as a way to
represent the approach they take to writing music. The phrase is rooted in 17th century
literature; commonly referring to a woman whose husband is away at sea, but the visual
associations of each word also provides an opportunity to interpret meaning on multiple
levels. We write lyrics about very personal and often dark subjects, but present the
ideas in a way that disguises the content within metaphor and upbeat instrumentation.
Influenced by similarly all-female punk and post-punk acts like The Neo Boys and
Kleenex, they also note Roy Wood's The Move and The Kinks as a major source of
inspiration, which can be heard in their three-part harmonies, complex arrangements
and odd chord progressions. Grass Widow is also influenced by a legacy of women
who have paved the way through their music and politics. Their collaborative
songwriting process, the fact that they don't have a front person and that they all equally
contribute to the work of the band speaks to this philosophy. In addition, they take the
opportunity as an all female band to bring attention to the roles of spectacle and
spectator in their scene and make a conscious effort to play shows where women are
In a statement from the band: We want to thrive in our scene as musicians, with a
focus on our musicianship first, not our gender. Our goal is to normalize the role of
gender in our craft and have an avenue to express our intelligence and our love of
music. We acknowledge that movements of the past created by or affecting women in
the art and music worlds are hugely influential, but there is potential for the original
sentiments to lose potency if the meaning is misinterpreted or not redesigned for a
modern context. Even the riot grrl movement is kind of antiquated. You never really
hear people talk about that 'new riot grrl' band. We owe a great deal to that lineage but
it's time for something new. We want to be portrayed as the responsible, thoughtful
people that we are.1. Uncertain Memory

Time To DieA cultural as well as a musical force, ELECTRIC WIZARD has left an indelible mark on a host of different genres, the likes of doom, stoner and sludge; at heart, however, they stand as an iconic British metal band, cast in the great tradition, with lyrics and artwork reflecting the hypnotic weight of the music, and subject to the same intelligence and detail.
Wreathed in occult ritual and drug-culture references, with classic '70s horror an inspirational seam, ELECTRIC WIZARD is poised to turn a page; there's the new deal with Spinefarm Records, plus - after a nine-year hiatus - the return of Mark Greening (the drummer on Dopethrone), who completes the lineup of Oborn, American guitarist Liz Buckingham, a key member since 2003, and new bassist Clayton Burgess (SATAN'S SATYRS).
Fueled by strong emotion and the harder sounds of late-'60s Detroit, the remodeled lineup - isolated by choice, giant stacks glowing red - set about crafting an eighth studio album to both rival and exceed the milestone recordings of the past, with Buckingham keeping things suitably monolithic and the band generally looking back to some of their earliest influences. Toerag Studios in London was once again charged with capturing The Sound, and (encouragingly) words like raw, hateful and sickeningly heavy are being traded.
Founding member Jus Oborn said the following: All of our albums in the past have had a theme - revenge, drugs, black magick - and the theme of this one is death. Of course, death to us really means rebirth, so this album is a manifestation of a very primal occult belief in the final sacrifice. We have gone full circle - it was inevitable, but we had to do it. We had to kill the band so we could be reborn. It was the only way to ensure we could come back even stronger.LP1

Time Is Up (Awaiting Repress)Limited Edition, Hand Numbered Vinyl Pressing of the Band's Popular 2011 Album
The unexpected rebirth of vintage American thrash midway through the 2000s was a pleasant if short-lived surprise, once veteran fans and newbies alike realized there was precious little left to do with the hallowed old genre that hadn't already been done before, and better. Every last '80s thrash band of note and their snotty little brother reunited and released comeback albums of varying quality (heck, even Metallica finally broke down and returned to their roots, though for entirely different reasons), but only a handful of young 'uns released albums worth remembering, once the worshipful good vibes subsided, including California's Warbringer, Brazil's Violator, Virginia's Municipal Waste, and, now, Colorado's Havok. Already impressive on their 2009 debut effort, Burn, the Denver quartet really puts it all together on the 2011 sophomore Time Is Up, marrying the necessary old-school thrash hallmarks with enough fresh ideas and memorable hooks to keep boredom at bay on neck-snapping riff machines like Fatal Intervention, Scumbag in Disguise, and Out of My Way. It's also worth noting that slower tempos and heightened melodicism are not out of the question for the band, either, even if the experiments don't always work as well on some cuts (see the spotty Killing Tendencies) as others (the excellent D.O.A.). Ultimately, it would still be quite a stretch (OK, it would be an outright lie) to praise Havok for introducing any innovations with Time Is Up (but then that's not their goal), and one can never help but wonder whether the band's tight-as-f**k musicianship would have been possible before the advent of Pro-Tools, but this is still about as good as it gets for modern, moshing entertainment.1. M.I.In case you missed the APB, Masked Intruder broke into the punk scene with their highly acclaimed 2012 self-titled album and have been building up quite a rap sheet ever since. These thugs have been on tour for the past two years with the likes of NOFX, Less Than Jake, and Teenage Bottlerocket, stealing the hearts of unwitting fans all along the way. Finally, the law caught up to these rascals and they were sent to the "big house" to think about their crimes. While meditating on how to be upright citizens, they killed time by writing new songs and digging their way to freedom. Once again, they managed to dodge the law long enough to hole up at Atlas Studios in Chicago with Matt Allison as their accomplice, laying down 13 tracks of polished, hook-laden power pop that's so catchy, it's criminal. Of course Masked Intruder will continue their life on the lam throughout 2014 in support of M.I., pilfering their way through the U.S., Europe, and Australia. Consider yourself warned.
And ladies, be vigilant around these romeos as we intercepted this message from Intruder Blue: "We are extremely stoked on this record! We had a great time working with Matt Allison again and we couldn't be happier with how the record came out! We can't wait for everybody to hear it, especially all of the ladies out there! The album is all acoustic and dedicated to John Lee Hooker with the line, In Memory of John Lee Hooker. You are missed.
Not known for his acoustic work, Buddy Guy unplugs for a rare album-length excursion into folk blues. The guitarist gets down and dirty with 12 tracks that sound like they were recorded after hours in his living room or on his back porch.
Guy's stinging leads are still evident as is his emotive voice, but both are less flamboyant in the unplugged setting. Accompanied by spare stand-up bass and brushed drums, Guy sounds nearly possessed on covers from Skip James (Hard Time Killing Floor), Johnny Shines (Moanin' and Groanin'), Son House (Louise McGhee), and John Lee Hooker (Sally Mae) among others. It's a low-key, low-down affair made for late nights, rainy days, and the saddest of moods.
Guy is just as convincing here--arguably more so--as on his barnstorming electric albums, making Blues Singer one of the bravest and most poignant albums in his catalogue.
The album earned Guy the 2004 Grammy Award for 'Best Traditional Blues Album'.LP 1

Fences is something new for our band Bombadil. It is more than just an album; it is a new path, a reset after several challenging years. The path began in January 2015, when a longtime member of Bombadil unexpectedly left our band. Daniel Michalak and I sat down to discuss our next steps. It was a time for soul searching. A duo of a bassist and drummer did not feel like a band. Moving forward seemed daunting, but we both felt like there was more to say with the band. We wanted to make music. So we began simply by making some. Writing and recording the Still Bombadil EP was fun. A fast and dirty exploration of a creative idea, no room for fiddling, deadline looming. Our last album, Hold On, had not been like that. It had been an ordeal.
Daniel suggested composing songs using guitar instrumentals our old bandmate Bryan Rahija had written, and of limiting ourselves to a small palette for the next album: guitar, piano, upright bass, harmony vocals. The goal was to make a folk record, something easy to understand, something beautiful. He shared a demo for "Binoculars" and I loved it. It was simple, elegant. We added it to the live set almost immediately. Daniel continued writing, focusing on guitar, harmony, and emotion. The songs inconveniently had no drums (what was I going to play?!). He instead wrote parts for me to sing and we began collaborating on composing tunes with a similar approach. "Fence" was written together at a friends house in Crozet, Virginia to kill time on tour. An old song of mine, "Long Life," was revived and extended. Percussion parts started to show up. Daniel's commitment to songwriting continued to inspire, a new demo was in my inbox almost weekly. Daniel enlisted the help of an old friend and data scientist, Nasir Bhanpuri, to analyze the success of our old catalog of songs and make suggestions to guide our writing and arranging. It was an experiment that pushed us to take the songs further than we might have in the past. In part, we were throwing ideas at the wall to see what would stick, but we were also searching for something new, actively trying to push ourselves to new creative heights.
We kept the Bombadil ship moving by accepting all shows, searching for more opportunities to play. We found wonderful people to tour in our band. There were good shows. There were bad ones, too. I learned to be a lead singer on the fly and on stage (with the help of an encouraging septuagenarian opera singer). And we kept writing, practicing, and recording. In July 2015, Stacy Harden sent me an email inquiring if we needed a musician. In his audition, he played through songs like he had been in the band all along. He even knew the harmonies. He had grown up a fan of the band, singing along in the car. In October, Stacy and I drove our equipment across the country for a West Coast tour in a four-day sprint and listened to every song the Beatles recorded. His easy-going spirit was infectious, his presence made the band more fun and more inspiring. We had found our man. "What's So Great About You" was the first collaboration between this new trio, and we started to discover what a new version of our band sounded like.
In January 2016, the three of us left North Carolina for Littleton, Massachusetts to spend several weeks at a friend's farmhouse. We recorded all day long, cooked together, spent our breaks around a roaring wood stove carefully tended to by Daniel. The resulting demo recordings gave us a roadmap to follow. Our label, Ramseur Records, suggested a producer, a departure after self-recording our last three records. John Vanderslice was given the demos and was enthusiastic about the material. He insisted that we listen closely to Paul Simon's first record. He told us the songs needed a sense of danger, that our demos felt like we were being too careful, and that the songs needed more percussion. John is opinionated, talented, and inspirational. And most of all, making the record with him over 12 days in September 2016 at Tiny Telephone in San Francisco was easy. And fun. And fast. We used only analog equipment, recording to tape through high-end vintage equipment. Bryan came to play his guitar parts (which by this point Stacy had learned for live performances of the material). The recordings were all first takes, new ideas were quickly embraced, mistakes were left alone as intention, very little artificial reverb was used but John's concrete echo chamber was used extensively. We hoped to catch lightning in a bottle and I think that we did.
To me, Fences represents the journey of the last two years. It is the discovery of a group voice, the willingness to explore collaboration between old friends, and an openness to let new voices into the fold. It is something I am proud to have been a part of and am excited to share with the world. To me, it is an example of the power and positivity of collaboration, of a group of human beings working diligently on a shared vision. If nothing else, I can say that we tried as hard as we possibly could. I can't wait to do it again.

iFi Audio iSilencer3.0
Have a question about this product? Please email our audio advisor or call 1-877-929-8729 with any questions or concerns regarding your equipment purchase.
The iSilencer3.0® is an instant upgrade for all USB ports; it adds the following features to the USB ports:
- Active Noise Cancellation® technology
- Reduce jitter + packet errors
- REbalance® the USB signal
- USB3.0 technology for optimal transfer
The iSilencer3.0® is the most direct and simple upgrade for any USB port, it lowers noise/RFI/EMI by up to 40dB or 100x.
It is ideal for the home and on-the-go improvement of all devices connected to the USB port, e.g. Computer Servers, Mixers, Hard drives etc. Regardless of the system; from US$10,000 to US$100, the iSilencer3.0® terminates noise, in its tracks.
Active Noise Cancellation® by AMR/iFi is in-house technology developed to cut out noise in a very significant way in the audio field. It is now the bedrock of iFi signal/power products because they need to address the issue of noise in both signal and power situations.
What is the Active Noise Cancellation circuit design?
Drawing from the military field (specifically the Thales Spectra radar cancellation system deployed in the French Dassault Rafale jet fighter), iFi adapted this technology to exclusively introduce the Active Noise Cancellation® (ANC®) audio power system. It is now a cornerstone of the ever-improving iFi USB audio technology, looking for new products to feature ANC® and ANC+®
By generating a signal identical to the noise signal but in the exact opposite phase, it actively cancels all the incoming noise. ANC® is the perfect 'antidote' for power supply noise, the bane of USB audio.
ANC® measured, noise drops by 100 times or 40dB in comparison to the Common Noise Filter. Sonically, the background and inner resolution to recordings is enhanced.
The iSilencer3.0® can be used not only at the active USB ports but also at unused USB ports where it will reduce radiated EMI and as the ANC® circuitry is bi-directional and usually as all USB ports share one power bus. The iSilencer3.0® cuts noise, system-wide for all USB ports, including for example an active port that has another iSilencer3.0® plugged-in which is the one connected to another device.
Multiple ANC® circuits will simply double the noise reduction each time the number of ANC® units is doubled. So 2 x iSilencer3.0® will kill double the noise of a single-one and four for example will kill four times the noise of a single one; if they are plugged into the same block of USB Ports and even though only one iSilencer3.0® has one device (e.g. DAC) connected into it.
It is now a hallmark of all the latest iFi signal and power products to be USB3.0 standard. First USB3.0 is backwards compatible with USB2.0. Second, in terms of the specifications, USB3.0 is superior to USB2.0 e.g. the wire gauge specification is more exhaustive and the connections are better.
Hence, the iSilencer3.0® is USB3.0 standard but also 2.0 compatible.$49.00Audio Noise Eliminator Buy Now

REDI-SUN-5417xJan & Dean
Save For A Rainy DayMastered from the Original Mono Reels!
It was a Hollywood music publicist's fondest dream and worst nightmare, all at the same time. Jan Berry, the lead vocalist, composer and producer of famed surf/hot rod duo Jan & Dean had crashed his Corvette on the Sunset Strip late at night on April 19, 1966, almost killing himself. Jan remained in a coma for some time afterwards, and his rehab would take years rather than months. The hitmaking partnership of Jan & Dean, an act that had launched 14 winners into the national Top 40 over the previous six years, had come to a screeching halt. Or had it?
Dean Torrence, singer of the duo's ozone-scraping high parts, its specialist in vocal-stacking and its idea man when it came to personal presentation, decided to carry on single-handed while his partner was incapacitated. With the assistance of a few celebrated friends and session men who were regulars in Phil Spector's Wrecking Crew, bassist Joe Osborn, pianist Larry Knechtel, guitarist James Burton and drummer Mickey Jones, Dean began recording tracks whenever he could in Osborn's North Hollywood garage for what would become the new Jan & Dean album, Save for a Rainy Day.
The album was a spectacular concept, with its rain-related songs, both new and old, all linked together with the sound of a summer thunderstorm. Dean issued the LP in very limited quantities on his own J&D label and the album became the ultimate rarity in the Jan & Dean catalog. Enter Sundazed Music, who, in 1996, purchased the masters and rights to the album from Dean and gave it a proper, expanded release. Now Save for a Rainy Day appears on Sundazed on limited edition 180g vinyl, mastered from the pristine mono reels, in all its original glory!1. Yellow Balloon

Desperate Ground180 Gram Vinyl LP
Vinyl LP pressed at RTI
Desperate Ground, the new LP from The Thermals, is exactly what the title implies. A
dangerous path. A crucial moment. A split second in time when you must stand and defend,
kill or be killed. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide.
The Thermals' sixth LP and first for Saddle Creek, Desperate Ground, is a true scrappy and
scratchy return-to-form for The Thermals, with all the raw power and unhinged adolescent
energy that made their early LP's so insanely enjoyable. Lyrically, the album is a brash and
irresponsible ode to human violence, a black celebration of the inevitability of war and death.
A dark and yet joyous affair, Desperate Ground tells the (murky) tale of a lone rogue in the
night. One man, one path, one sword. An unceasing urge to destroy. A never-ending battle
against the forces of nature. A destiny impossible to avoid. All told, Desperate Ground is a
loud, violent thrill ride, a punk LP as bloody action film. It's The Wipers meets "Die Hard" and
Desperate Ground was produced by John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth) in Hoboken,
NJ. Agnello and The Thermals completed mixing just hours before Hurricane Sandy ravaged
New Jersey. Desperate Ground indeed.1 Born To Kill
