Key Lime Pie Quick View
xCamper Van BeethovenKey Lime Pie
Includes 45 RPM Bonus Track "Closing Theme!" On Side D (Plays From The Center Groove)
Includes New Liners And Photos
Camper Van Beethoven signed with Virgin Records in 1988 and delivered a record that defied those who thought the band might "sell out." The band
returned the following year with what most deem their masterpiece- Key Lime Pie.
Omnivore Recordings is excited to reissue Camper Van Beethoven's Virgin Records output, including 1989's classic, Key Lime Pie.
Once again produced by Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello, Counting Crows), Key Lime Pie continued the journey into the world of CVB, but with higher
production value and sound than had been heard before. From a track about Jack Ruby to a cover of Status Quo's "Pictures Of Matchstick Men", Key
Lime Pie was a slice above the rest and a fitting dessert for the 1980s.
The nearly hourlong album was originally pressed on one LP, but Omnivore has expanded it to two LPs
(for better sound) and added a bonus track to Side D.
Includes new liners and photos. Presented as they should be, they will delight fans and educate those who have only read about the
importance of this record. Key Lime Pie is both sweet and tart, but Key Lime Pie is an essential component to any musical meal.LP 1

Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart Quick View
xCamper Van BeethovenOur Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart
25th Anniversary Reissue
Featuring New Liners And Photos
When indie superstars Camper Van Beethoven signed with Virgin Records in the late 1980s, it seemed inconceivable. How could that band move to a
major label without "selling out" and sacrificing all that made them great?
The first three tracks on Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart were a pop song, an instrumental and an adaptation of a folk dirge about death. Heck, the
release even had a love song for Patty Hearst. No, Camper Van Beethoven didn't sell out. They just had better distribution now.
Omnivore Recordings is proud to take everyone back to 1988, when musical worlds collided and Camper Van Beethoven helped break the mold and blur
the lines between indie rock and "alternative." Suddenly, it was an even playing field and Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart found itself in the bins
next to Chicago and Cinderella. Produced by Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello, Counting Crows), the 25th anniversary of this landmark album finds it
reissued for the first time since its original issue.
Featuring new liners and photos, Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart is being reissued in tandem with its acclaimed follow up
Key Lime Pie, with full cooperation and input from the band themselves. These are the releases CVB fans have been dreaming of.
It's been a few years since the end of the 1980s, but Camper Van Beethoven has always been timeless. Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart proves
that. It's even spelled out in the title: beloved, revolutionary and a real sweetheart.1. Eye Of Fatima (Pt. 1)

xCamper Van BeethovenNew Roman Times
Expanded Reissue Of 2004 Reunion Album
Contains Four Previously Unissued Tracks
New Artwork Features Liner Notes From CVB's
David Lowery
Camper Van Beethoven reunited in 2000
and even recorded and released a pair of
records, but it was 2004's New Roman Times that
was the "official" document of the band's reformation.
The band's David Lowery states in his liner notes, that it
was "the one that got all the press and fanfare. And it was a
good thing, because it was an extremely ambitious record."
Omnivore Recordings is proud to celebrate New Roman Times
by presenting an expanded reissue on double
LP. Released in conjunction with the band,
and following in the footsteps of last year's Omnivore reissues
of Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart and Key Lime Pie, New Roman Times
features new artwork, extensive notes from Lowery and four
previously unissued tracks culled from the sessions.
This definitive edition of Camper Van Beethoven's
"sci-fi alternate-reality rock opera" not only brings the
fan favorite to vinyl for the first time, but expands
and presents all formats in a way that proves
these are indeed New Roman Times!

From Indian Lakes return with their 3rd full length Everything Feels Better Now. The new full length was recorded with producer
Kevin Augunas (Edwards Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Cold War Kids, Needtobreathe) at the legendary Sound City Studios
a.k.a. Fairfax Recording. From Indian Lakes took a very different approach on this record with songwriter and singer Joey
Vannucchi recording all instruments and vocals for the album. "I feel like I had to write a ton of songs before I could get to this
sound, took time off from doing anything really. When it came time to record I wasn't sure what to expect. Every time I think I've
gone as deep as I can, I peel back skin and discover another layer that's been there waiting. That's what this album is" Vannucchi
said about making the record. Everything Feels Better Now picks up where Absent Sounds left off and adds an element of dream
pop to an already expansive sound.1. Happy Machines

Jack-O Is The Flipside Kid Quick View
xJack OblivianJack-O Is The Flipside Kid
Jack Yarber began his professional music career in high school, appearing alongside high school friend and future Squirrel Nut Zippers founder Jimbo Mathus in the Corinth, Mississippi, based Johnny Vomit % the Dry Heaves. Yarber played drums in the outfit, which credited him as Johnny Goopa.
In the summer of 1987, Yarber moved to Memphis, Tennessee, to play music with his cousin. Yarber and his cousin played together using a number of band names, eventually releasing a new-wave 7 under the name, The End. The tracks You Never Called and People Talk were recorded at Phillips Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. That vinyl single marked Yarber's first appearance on record. By 1989 the two had diverged musically and Yarber's cousin left town, effectively ending their partnership.
Following the breakup of The End, Yarber's encounter with fellow musician Greg Cartwright led to the formation of the Compulsive Gamblers. Desptie recording two 7 albums and a handful of home recordings, the band was unable to garner record lable interest until after he success of their next band, the Oblivians. The Oblivians formed in 1993 as as side project to the Compulsive Gamblers, and included former Gambler Greg Cartwright, as well as future Goner Records founder, Eric Friedl. The members of the Oblivians all shared writing and recording responsibilities. Each member supplied vocals, guitar work, and percussion on albums and switched between instruments during live shows. The Oblivians lasted from 1993 until 1998, at which time Yarber and Cartwright left the band to reform the Compulsive Gamblers. The second incarnation of the Gamblers lasted form 1998 to 2003, when the bandmembers again went seperate ways.
After pursuing a brief solo career, Yarber teamed up with Scott Bomar to form the Tearjerkers. As Bomar became more and more involved with film scoring, Yarber began to take a more active role in the band, ultimately taking over as lead songwriter after Bomar's departure. With Yarber in control of the group, the band was rechristened the Tennessee Tearjerkers. At the same time as Yarber was writing songs with the Tearjerkers, he was also contributing in various ways to a number of side projects including, the Knaughty Knights, the Limes, and South Filthy which included collaborations with longtime associates Walter Daniels and Monsieur Jeffrey Evans.1.
