Experience Hendrix LLC & Legacy Recordings Continue the Monumental 2010 Jimi Hendrix Catalog Project with a Second Wave of Audiophile Vinyl Reissues

Lacquers Cut from the Original Tapes at Sterling Sound by Iconic Engineer George Marino Under the Supervision of Eddie Kramer

Pressed and Plated at RTI: Amazing Analog Sound Betters All Prior Vinyl and Digital Editions

As the headliner of the 1969 Woodstock Festival, Jimi Hendrix was the last act and he didn't hit the stage until dawn on Monday morning. The recording finds Hendrix in a period of transition between the psychedelic blues of the Experience and the soulful, rhythmically driven Band of Gypsys. Throughout the electrifying set, Hendrix manages to touch on every musical style from jazz to blues to funk and soul and it stands as arguably the most famous and affirming live performance in the history of music.

Legacy Recordings is now reissuing Hendrix's watershed Live At Woodstock on an audiophile, three-disc 12 vinyl LP set that blows away all prior editions. Cut from the original tapes at Sterling Sound by iconic engineer George Marino under the supervision of Eddie Kramer, and pressed and plated at RTI, this 3LP version will forever stand as the definitive-sounding, high-performance edition of this historic document. You know the concert's legacy. Now experience it like never before.

Jimi's music is as alive today as it was 40 years ago, and the success of our most recent releases with Sony Legacy provides thrilling confirmation. We have long maintained that the power of Jimi's music and the power of his message would stand the test of time and provide its own bridge to the future, said Janie Hendrix, CEO of Experience Hendrix LLC.

Being partnered with Legacy enables us to reach a more global audience with that message. And the best is yet to come. What we have in store will propel Jimi into a new decade, with unseen footage and unheard versions of his songs that will absolutely amaze today's music lovers. And we're confident that the distribution is in good hands, opening the door to new and fresh markets. The focus of our endeavors is, and always will be, all about Jimi's music.

Even though Santana had been famous for his live shows since his performance at Woodstock, this 1977 album was his first live release (be it interspersed with a number of studio recordings). It showcases the best of Santana in the mid-seventies: the Latin infused Blues/Rock, the spiritual Jazz Fusion, the unstoppable energy of Santana on stage. A cover version of the mid-60s song 'She's Not There' by The Zombies was released as a single and it became Santana's first top-40 hit in over five years.

Sven Pipien. Their eponymous debut album was recorded live in front of a small audience at Applehead Recording
in Woodstock, New York apart from opening track "Omission" which is a full studio recording. The album has added

Carlos Santana & Buddy Miles: Live! (Speakers Corner)

'Live' was the watchword of the liberated and permissive post-Woodstock era, when anyone and everyone could do wonderful things and musicians really let themselves go - and it opened the door for Santana and his musicians. While devotees of pure styles found it hard to dip into the bubbling melting pot of progressive rock, others - hungry for emotion - plunged eagerly into the moloch world known as 'Sounds of the 70s'.

Among the great events during this time was the get-together of Santana and a grandiose group of musicians together with Jimmy Hendrix's ex-drummer Buddy Miles at the Sunshine Festival in Hawaii. Inspired by the electrifying atmosphere we hear the smacking sound of an organ in John McLaughlin's Marbles, lush rocking Latin grooves (Lava) and gospel-like vocal artistry (Evil Ways). After an intensively re-worked version of the old favourite Them Changes, in which the band certainly lets one know that they can be 'heavy' when they want, the musicians let themselves go in 25 improvised minutes in Free Form Funkafide Filth. Such unleashed power could never be tamed and captured on tape in the studio simply because it can only be created in the freedom of an open-air stage.

    Musicians:

    • Carlos Santana (guitar)

    • Buddy Miles (drums, vocal)

    • Robert Hogins (organ)

    • Luis Gasca (trumpet)

    • Neal Schon (guitar)

    • Ron Johnson (bass)

    • Coke Escovedo (percussion)

    • Gregg Errico (drums)

    About Speakers Corner

At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Speakers Corner all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.

During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existant tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.

A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.

We should like to emphasise that Speakers Corner Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle. We have one digital recording in our catalogue (Alan Parsons / Eye In The Sky"), but even in this particular case we used the analogue tapes for cutting.

We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.

To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects - excluding the exception above - and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.

Mountain is a band of American hard rockers from New York who broke up in 1972 and reunited a year later, remaining active today. They are best known for their cowbell-tinged song Mississippi Queen, as well as for their performance at the famous Woodstock Festival in 1969.

Mountain is one of many bands to be commonly credited as having influenced the development of heavy metal music in the 70s. The group's musical style primarily consisted of hard rock, blues rock and heavy metal.

Twin Peaks was their second live album and was recorded in Osaka, Japan in 1973. It featured the long version (32+ minutes!) of Nantucket Sleigh Ride which is spread over two sides, and the classic Chuck Berry penned Roll Over Beethoven, Mississippi Queen and Theme For An Imaginary Western.

    Santana III (Awaiting Repress)

Santana III on Numbered Limited Edition LP from Mobile Fidelity Silver Label

Last Santana Album Recorded With Famed Woodstock Band

With Guitar Virtuoso Neal Schon in Fold, Santana Makes Musical Magic That Truly Spans the Globe years Before "World Music" Became a Genre

Mastered on Mobile Fidelity's World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI: LP Breathes With Sumptuous Warmth

The final Santana album recorded with the leader's famed Woodstock lineup, one of the most capable and explosive bands ever assembled, Santana III (commonly referred to as The Third Album) is a beacon of Latin-tinged rock, melodic creativity, and cohesive interplay. The record also marks the debut of young guitar virtuoso Neal Schon, who functions as the ideal foil to Santana, whose playing on this 1971 set rivals that of the finest in his career. If not for arriving after the monumental Abraxas, it is likely Santana III would be mentioned in the same breath as groundbreaking psychedelic classics such as Bitches Brew. It's that good.

Embracing the concept that all of the members should share their musical ideas, Santana added two crucial components to his band: Schon, discovered at the age of 15 playing in a Palo Alto club, and Thomas "Coke" Escovedo, who during the sessions temporarily replaced ill percussionist Chepito Areas, and whose percussive assistance helped define the album's feel. With Schon in the fold, Santana strives for the unknown, and yet, manages to stave off the numbing excesses that define much of the period's output.

From the opening "Batuka," peppered with Schon's stirring guitar lines, to the sensitive "Everything Is Coming Our Way," infused with a mesmerizing Hammond organ underpinning that supports Santana's vocal pathos, the record teams with inventiveness. Involving albeit accessible concoctions of funk, jazz, rock, blues, and soul run throughout the set. Spanish-styled flavors infuse a majority of the material, ranging from the salsa piano on "Guarjira" to the distinctive "No One to Depend On," a lively take on the cha-cha-cha.

A globe-spanning armada of percussive instruments-timbales, congas, drums, vibes, tambourines, and more-as well as the existence of a three-person percussion team that fits in harmoniously with Santana, Schon, and company makes Santana III a masterful accomplishment in musical chemistry and the exploration of true world craft.

The Silver Label LP of Santana III breathes with sumptuous warmth and you-are-there realism. The tension of Schon's guitar lines, the album's open sound, and extensive use of studio echoes (check the presence of the backward echo on "No One to Depend On") fill the soundstage, replete with the kind of depth and dynamics one expects from a first-rate audiophile recording.

    Both Sides of the Sky

Both Sides Of The Sky presents 13 studio recordings including 10 which have never before been released. All but two of these studio recordings were made during a fertile period between January 1968 and 1970. Jimi's mastery and use of the studio as a proving ground for new songs resulted in a growing collection of extraordinary material. This album completes a trilogy of albums [with Valleys Of Neptune and People, Hell & Angels] presenting the best and most significant unissued studio recordings remaining in the Hendrix archive. The songs include fascinating alternate versions of Stepping Stone, Lover Man and Hear My Train A Comin' as well as recordings where Jimi is joined by special guests Johnny Winter and Stephen Stills. Both Sides Of The Sky was mixed by Eddie Kramer, the engineer for all of Hendrix's albums throughout the guitarist's lifetime, and produced by Janie Hendrix, Kramer and John McDermott.

Mannish Boy - The first ever studio session by the group Hendrix would christen as his Band Of Gypsys. Hendrix, Cox & Miles shared a love for the blues as this driving, uptempo reworking of Mannish Boy by Muddy Waters makes clear.

Lover Man - Just two weeks before their triumphant New Year's concerts at the Fillmore East in NYC [yielding both 1970's Band Of Gypsys and 2016's sequel Machine Gun], Hendrix gathered with Cox and Miles to cut this dynamic rendition of what had become a favorite concert staple.

Stepping Stone - A totally unique take on this Hendrix favorite, with Jimi showcasing both blues and country styled licks atop a relentless, galloping beat.

$20 Fine -Stephen Stills joined Jimi, Mitch Mitchell and Buddy Miles Express keyboardist Duane Hitchings at this September 1969 session. With Stephen handling lead vocals and organ, Jimi added multiple guitar parts to this rollicking Stills original.

Power Of Soul - This 1970 studio session came three weeks after the Band Of Gypsys concerts at the Fillmore East. While a live version remains one of the highpoints of Band Of Gypsys, Jimi never released a studio version during his lifetime. For this album, we present the mix that Hendrix and Kramer prepared of the complete song at Electric Lady on August 22, 1970.

Jungle - The influence of Curtis Mayfield can be heard here as Jimi expands on the Villanova Junction Blues theme he made famous by its inclusion in the 1970 Woodstock documentary.

Things I Used To Do - Jimi is joined for this rendition of Guitar Slim's blues classic by Johnny Winter. Jimi's trademark guitar work and Winter's deft slide playing weaves in and around the foundation set by bassist Billy Cox and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young drummer Dallas Taylor.

Georgia Blues - Jimi reunited with some old friends from his pre-Experience days. Lonnie Youngblood, with whom Hendrix played in R&B groups like Curtis Knight & The Squires, voiced this superb twelve bar blues neatly underpinned by Hendrix's sublime rhythm and lead guitar work.

Sweet Angel - With Axis: Bold As Love only just released, Jimi immediately turned his focus to recording what would become Electric Ladyland. This gorgeous, instrumental reading of Angel,, features Jimi on guitar, bass and vibraphone joined by Mitch Mitchell.

Woodstock - Stephen Stills came to this session fresh from having visited Joni Mitchell, who had a new song that Stills was excited to try and record. Long before CSNY's version, Stephen, Jimi and Buddy Miles recorded this amazing rendition.

Send My Love To Linda - A superb new Hendrix original composition recorded with Cox and Miles in the aftermath of their successful Band Of Gypsys performances at the Fillmore East.

Cherokee Mist - Together with drummer Mitch Mitchell, Jimi created this moody, evocative original complete with his playing of a sitar to complement his traditional electric guitar.

I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!

    Sourced from the Original Masters

I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama! was the rst solo studio album Joplin recorded after leaving Big Brother and the Holding Company. The LP was released on September 11, 1969 and reached gold record status within two months of its release.

When Janis Joplin died in October 1970 at the early age of 27, thus involuntarily confirming the beatnik adage live fast, love hard, die young, it was only a matter of time before she was crowned the "Queen of Rock". Of greater importance than this posthumous entry into rock 'n' roll's hall of fame is the recognition during her lifetime of her explosive vocal style, which - so Vogue - turned the whole history of singing upside down.

Janis Joplin's discography is just as short and changeable as her life. After two LP releases with the standard 'cast' of rock musicians in the band Big Brother And The Holding Company, with whose excellent musical support she obtained her first recording contract with Columbia Records in 1968, the company provided her with a group augmented with organ and winds. Their intention was to broaden her vocal expression with blues and funk elements, which, however, her most loyal fans regarded as betrayal of the ideals of rock music. Rock fans in the Old World were less critical, especially since Joplin and her Kozmic Blues Band went on a two-month tour of Europe. For those Woodstock fans whose ears are still ringing with the band's full, meaty wind sound and Janis's bluesy soul singing, this album is an absolute must.

8LP Edition Annihilates All Previous Winterland Compilations: Tremendous Sonics and Insight

Jimi Hendrix's Woodstock performance may be his most famous, but the guitarist named by Rolling Stone as the best in history was never better than at a three-night stand in San Francisco, putting on a total of six concerts that fans have long clamored to hear. Featuring the creme de la creme of said performances, now everyone finally gets their wish.

Winterland is drawn from said six stellar shows recorded over three days (October 10, 11 and 12, 1968) at San Francisco's historic Winterland Ballroom. These special performances celebrated the two-year anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and came just as the groundbreaking album Electric Ladyland was released. Even given the era's rich history, you'll be hard-pressed to come up with any concert that rivals what's here.

As many already know, Winterland presents some of Hendrixs most spectacular guitar work. This scintillating set is filled with rare live versions of classic songs such as Manic Depression, Are You Experienced?, Tax Free, and Little Wing that are not part of any other Sony Legacy releases. Fans will also enjoy Hendrixs dramatic interpretations of Creams Sunshine Of Your Love and Howlin Wolfs Killing Floor (with the Experience joined by Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady) as well his rendition of Bob Dylans Like A Rolling Stone, which many critics and fans regard as the ultimate interpretation.

Pressed on 8 x 180g LPs, this special deluxe box set features never before released music from each of the six unforgettable Winterland performances. Please note that Winterland is now markedly different from the flawed single disc compilation, long out of print, briefly issued by Rykodisc in 1987 and 1988. Moreover, Winterland also presents a rare interview with Hendrix recorded backstage at the Boston Garden a few weeks after the Winterland performances. This previously unreleased bonus provides fans with a unique window into Hendrixs views about his background, his approach to the guitar, and songwriting and future direction of his music.

As should be required for any such box set, Winterland features a 36-page booked filled with previously unpublished images by acclaimed photographers Robert Knight, Allen Tannenbaum, and Jim Marshall, as well as an essay by noted Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke.

    Undead

A Premium RTI Pressing, From The Original U.K. Mono Masters

Immortalized on the silver screen, Ten Years After's landmark performance of "I'm Going Home" at Woodstock galvanized their reputation as road warriors capable of rousing large crowds - such as the 400,000 festival-goers mesmerized by Alvin Lee's white lightning on his bright red Gibson ES-335."I'm Going Home" could also light up a room as small as Klooks Kleek in London, as heard on their second album, 1968's Undead. But while it was the first recording of the song (with wires running from Decca Studios next door to capture it), it hardly came from nowhere. Alvin Lee and bassist Leo Lyons learned the value of extended jamming as far back as 1962 while playing Hamburg in the Jaybirds, and not long after they began covering Gene Vincent's "I'm Going Home (To See My Baby)" in Ten Years After - it was reworked into something entirely original. Or more specifically: stripped down, repainted, rebuilt and retooled into a drag racer that would scorch crowds for years to come. Undead was the first recorded evidence of that live legacy. Condensed to the best five of the May 14, 1968, set, the album sees the band do further long bluesy jamming with "I May Be Wrong, But I Won't Be Wrong Always," "Spider in My Web," and pound Gershwin into submission (courtesy drummer Ric Lee) on "Summertime/Shantung Cabbage." And on a killer cover of "(At the) Woodchopper's Ball," the band's jazzy blues is hot enough to turn Woody Herman's classic into sawdust - replete with Alvin Lee and organist Chick Churchill trading solos. Rightly regarded as one of the best live albums of its era, Undead is reissued here in its rare mono mix, which has been out of print everywhere for nearly 50 years. It's very much alive on this vinyl edition, which features primo sound and the beautiful negative-image original cover.

Now Sundazed proudly presents the searing guitar of Alvin Lee & Chick Churchill's haunting organ textures as they were meant to be heard, from the original U.K. MONO masters and pressed on premium RTI vinyl!

    Ten Years After

A Premium RTI Pressing, From The Original U.K. Mono Masters

Ten Years After's self-titled debut hit the British blues scene with the subtlety and precision of a wrecking ball in 1967, serving notice that what had once been confined to steamy haunts in London was now there for the world to hear. And by the time the band electrified half a million hippies at Woodstock two years later, the world was roaring its approval. Cut live with vocals overdubbed later, Ten Years After is an impressive debut, showing off a tight band steeped not only in blues, but rockabilly, jazz, folk and even occasionally psychedelia. They rival Cream on a powerful cover of "Spoonful," which sports a heavy rhythm drive also evident on their extended jam version of "Help Me" that builds and builds to stratospheric heights. The latter allows Alvin Lee to cut loose with the fast licks for which he would become best known, but he was also capable of subtler, more impressionistic soloing on a stellar remake of the Blues Project's "I Can't Keep From Crying, Sometimes." If those three aren't enough evidence of the band's ability, then a spruced-up "I Want to Know," first done by Eric Clapton and the Powerhouse on the legendary What's Shakin' comp (also reissued by Sundazed), certainly seals the deal. But even at this early stage, Ten Years After was no cover act - throwing originals like the Robert Johnson-inspired "Love Until I Die," the country acoustic blues of "Don't Want You Woman" and the swingin' boogie of "Feel It for Me" into the mix. It was no one-man show, either - as organist Chick Churchill takes the lead on "Adventures of a Young Organ" and buttresses "Losing the Dogs" with some rollicking Jerry Lee Lewis piano. And beneath it all, there was the metronomic telepathy of the Ric Lee/Leo Lyons rhythm section. The best way to hear this classic album is in its punchier mono mix, available on vinyl for the first time in 50 years and faithfully packaged with all of the original iridescent psychedelic cover art intact.

Now Sundazed proudly presents the searing guitar of Alvin Lee & Chick Churchill's haunting organ textures as they were meant to be heard, from the original U.K. MONO masters and pressed on premium RTI vinyl!

Golden Butter: The Best Of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band

The First Time Audiophile Vinyl 40th Anniversary Presentation Of Their Legendary Elektra Recordings

Mastered Impeccably From The Original Elektra Records Tapes by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios & At Capitol Records With Ron McMaster

Features The Original Gatefold Cover Album Art & Essay by Tony Glover

Along with fellow superstars Jefferson Airplane, Steve Miller Band and The Grateful Dead, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band was one of the first powerhouse rock acts of the sixties. With their phenomenal brand of Chicago blues music unlike any band before or after them, they helped to usher in the progressive underground rock movement.

With its core line-up of Paul Butterfield (harmonica/lead vocalist), Mike Bloomfield (guitar), Elvin Bishop (guitar), Sam Lay(drums), Mark Nataflin (keyboards) and Jerome Arnold (bass), this amazing band truly delivered many legendary blues and rock recordings during their successful reign at Elektra Records.

Blues masterpieces of the era still resonate today as Paul Butterfield and Co. foretold with their classic signature tunes like Born In Chicago, Look Over Yonders Wall, Mellow Down Easy and the mammoth blues prog-rocker East West. With the superstar talents that made up this band over the years, it was not uncommon to hear radio stations play entire sides of their revolutionary albums during the dawn of FM and underground radio.

Later albums would reveal even further extensions of the blues rock genre with classic renditions like Marvin Gaye's One More Heartache, Michael Nesmith's Mary Mary, plus more of their own prolific standards like Last Hope's Gone, Morning Blues and of course their Woodstock 1969 anthem Love March.

Elektra awarded The Paul Butterfield Blues Band and their huge fan base with a very extensive and amazing "Greatest Hits" package called Golden Butter back in 1972. Right from the start you get a healthy serving from their first monster release The Paul Butterfield Blues along with more solid tunes from other fine albums like East West, The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw, In My Own Dream, Live and Keep On Movin'.

Out of print on vinyl for many years, it is with great pride and honor to announce the first time 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl release of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band classic Golden Butter - The Best Of The Paul Butterfield Blues Band on Friday Music.

As a first installment in the Paul Butterfield/Friday Music 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Series, this amazing album features 18 of their most important songs from their legendary albums from1965 through 1973. From the early blues rock sounds of Shake Your Money-Maker and the lengthy live epic Driftin' and Driftin' to later day album radio favorites like Blind Leading the Blind, One More Mile and the pivotal Willie Dixon favorite Spoonful, this album truly shows the relevance and importance of this sorely missed iconic band.

Mastered impeccably from the original Elektra Records tapes by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios and at Capitol Records with Ron McMaster, this super limited edition album also boasts the original gatefold cover album art and wonderful essay by Tony Glover, not seen in years!

The two HQ vinyl LP's are also protected by polylined sleeves as well as a polybag to help keep the album cover and albums in great condition for your blues collection.

I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama! (Speakers Corner) (Awaiting Repress)

    The Concrete Confessional

An institution can be relied on forever. Its foundations don't shake due to the winds of change or tides of trends-no matter how volatile, omnipresent, or tenuous.

With steadfast determination, drive, and dedication, Hatebreed cement themselves as one of heavy music's strongest institutions on their seventh full-length offering and very first for Nuclear Blast worldwide, 2016's The Concrete Confessional. Since 1994, the Connecticut quintet-Jamey Jasta [vocals], Chris Beattie [bass], Wayne Lozinak [guitar], Frank Novinec [guitar], and Matthew Byrne [drums]-has risen to the ranks of hardcore and heavy metal elite with a GRAMMY® Award nomination, main stage slots on festivals, and countless fans worldwide. 2013's The Divinity Of Purpose earned their highest entry on the Billboard Top 200, bowing at #17 with impressive first-week sales in excess of 17,000. When it came time to return to the studio after two years on the road, Jasta and his cohorts clung to the bedrock on which their legacy stands firm.

"There's nothing better than loud amps, riffs that hit you right in the chest, and lyrics that spark a new thought and give you a charge," he declares. "That's our musical DNA. We could just be who we are. We don't need to incorporate whatever the trend is. We can just be Hatebreed. There are some new highlights to the game, but you know it's us."

The Divinity Of Purpose saw them become a headliner in locations such as Slovenia, Slovakia, Russia, Japan, and beyond. They would perform at Poland's Woodstock in front of 400,000 people. Stateside, the band supported longtime friends Slipknot on an extensive 2015 run in between festival appearances at Rock On The Range, Welcome To Rockville, and more as well as Motörhead's Motörboat with Slayer and Motörhead.

"Riding into this album, I realized we could play with bands of every genre nearly anywhere without deviating from who we are," continues Jasta. "The Motörboat was really a highlight of our career. We played this exclusive event with some of our chief influences. We got to literally chart new territory."

Returning home in the Fall of 2015, they entered the studio with longtime producer Zeuss [Rob Zombie, Soulfly]. Immediately, they channeled the spirit that's long defined their signature sound. By January, the record was mixed by Josh Wilbur [Megadeth, Lamb Of God] and primed for ignition.

"We had a really good vibe in the studio," he says. "The record is a snapshot of this time for us."

It also reflects what's going on outside. The opening track and first single "A.D." fuses together torrential thrashed-out guitars, double bass drums, and Jasta's immortal growl before an incendiary lead. The singer dissects what the American Dream means in a climate of upheaval. "Fight fire with fire, you'll see everyone's burning," he screams. Think of it as "Vote With A Bullet" or "Holy Wars The Punishment Due" for the Instagram age.

"It's a mirror of both sides of the story whether it's what you believe in the media or what you actually see," he explains. "Musically, it came together quickly. It's about all of the frustrated feelings that come out when I turn on the news. So much of our attention is focused on the wrong areas. People want to one-up each other with better clothes and cars, and it's all bullshit. Nobody goes to the grave with any of that stuff. It's not all instant gratification. What exists on the phone and computer isn't what exists in real life. What is the American Dream anymore?"

The machine gun chug of "Looking Down The Barrel Of Today" proves equally uplifting and undeniable. "I wanted something to get crowds pumped up," he admits. "So many fans will tell us, 'Your records help me get through my life.' I needed to encourage this cyclical power to get up and face the day. You either make the best of today, or you're done in by it."

"Something's Off" carries an ominously lyrical bass line into a guttural chant, showcasing Jasta's chilling vocal dynamics in the process. "I've written songs about depression, alcoholism, and falling back into destructive patterns," he says. "However, I never felt like I could really put my finger on what anxiety is. It's not just social anxiety but this unexplained feeling of unease. I've felt it since I was in kindergarten. You can't control when it happens. Heavy music has kept that beast at bay-in addition to exercise and experiences with my family. I had to confront it directly in the lyrics here."

Elsewhere, "Remember When" and "Slaughtered In Their Dreams" juxtapose visceral lyricism with a searing sonic backdrop as chaotic as it is catchy. Through and through, The Concrete Confessional is classic Hatebreed.

In order to transfer this message to the masses, the band inked a global deal with Nuclear Blast. "They're world-renowned mainstays in the metal community," he smiles. "We get to be in the company of career bands we look up to." These musicians have come a long way from the East Coast's storied nineties underground scene. Their journey has seen them achieve a 2005 GRAMMY® Award nod in the category of "Best Metal Performance" for "Live For This," sell over 1.2 million records, and land a #1 debut on Billboard's DVD Chart with 2009's Live Dominance. Moreover, they've annihilated audiences from OZZfest Japan and Download Festival to Wacken, Hellfest, and beyond.

Now, The Concrete Confessional fits right into the bold, bloody, and beating heart of the Hatebreed institution.

"The title had to be something that was heavy and hard, but also vulnerable and honest," Jasta leaves off. "Heavy music is this cleansing, therapeutic, and cathartic experience. You're on that concrete floor, the guitars are crushing you, and someone's screaming their head off-sharing their pain and aspects of their life through words, poetry, or songs. There's nothing like it. You confess you have negative thoughts, and you purge them. For however long you're at the show, there are no bills to pay, issues to deal with, or problems holding you back. You can be free."

    Riverman's Daughter

The Grahams, the creative union of lifelong romantic partners Alyssa and Doug Graham, combine soulful bluegrass with hints of earthy Americana, adding colors from traditional folk and country blues, into an infectious blend of storytelling that results in songs of love, loss, yearning, and the view from rural American roads less traveled.

While the duo first met in grade school -- a trait shared by previous musical trail-blazers, from Lennon/McCartney to Jagger/Richards - the Grahams' journey together began when they were teenagers in the shadow of New York City. There, Alyssa, the impassioned troubadour, and Doug, the guitarist extraordinaire, shared a mutual love for the music of the Woodstock era and the adventures of the great outdoors. Over the ensuing years many a campfire lit acoustic jam would include the best of roots renegades like Neil Young, The Band, Gram Parsons, Janis and Emmylou along with more than a few Jerry Garcia and Johnny Cash nuggets. Later, spending much of their time in the secluded Adirondack Mountains at the Graham family fold, Alyssa and Doug learned the time-honored craft of songwriting. Here, their ongoing interests in traditional country, mountain bluegrass and folk legends such as The Carter Family and Mississippi John Hurt would blossom. Hoping to share their stories on a wider stage, the couple eventually settled in New York City, where they performed, collaborated and recorded a variety of acclaimed material before adopting The Grahams moniker.

While the duo had written music together before, in the summer of 2012 new writing sessions yielded a different approach. Something magical was happening between Alyssa and Doug. A catalyst was born in the new song Riverman's Daughter, a tale of love, loss, and hardship on the river that showcases Alyssa's bountiful voice. Backed by her own rhythm guitar, along with the strong current of Doug's cascading accompaniment on the six string, and traditional vocal harmonies, the track came in a lightning bolt of inspiration. A vision and calling to write more songs of its kind took hold.

Alyssa and Doug had an idea: What if they put their city lives on hold and, armed with just guitars and backpacks, traveled the 2,500 miles of highways and byways of the Mississippi River from Minnesota to Louisiana. Light out for the territory, so to speak, like Huck and Jim. There, the duo could follow the Great River Road (GRR) that parallels the waterway, meet the people, and hear first-hand where European folk music, brought to these shores generations ago, took root alongside rhythms and chants from Africa, and how these polarizing sounds formed the backbone of our 20th Century American musical heritage. And so The Grahams did just that, and in the process created their debut album, Riverman's Daughter. Along the way The Grahams played gigs at the various gin and juke joints that dotted the GRR, and met a colorful cast of characters and genuine music makers with whom the duo shared and exchanged stories through the common bond of song.

Eventually Alyssa and Doug ended up intentionally isolated on an old houseboat in rural Louisiana where the Mississippi spills into the Atchafalaya swamp. There, The Grahams prolifically stockpiled songs, enjoyed the simplicity of living off the grid, and for a spell, invited onboard friends and musicians including their longtime collaborator Bryan McCann, a wordsmith who aids with lyrical inspiration. Yet perhaps the biggest inspiration on Riverman's Daughter was Doug's own mother, Gigi, the matriarch of the Graham family clan, and a true fan of the duo who had been diagnosed with cancer earlier that year. As her condition worsened, the Grahams packed up their guitars and newly minted collection of songs to become Gigi's angel band, and played by her side until she passed away.

As recording of the new album began, The Grahams found a true kindred spirit in Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Burn, who brought a magical touch and inspired ideas into the studio. It was Burn's idea to record both Alyssa and Doug's parts live to tape without the assistance of headphones or isolation -- in the way they were written. This process gives the album a natural aura that harkens back to an era when this practice was commonplace. Along the same lines, The Grahams chose to record the album in Nashville, the longtime epicenter of country music. While the album's foundation is simple and acoustic, The Grahams are backed on a few tracks by stellar accompaniment including the Grammy-nominated North Mississippi Allstars. Along with the title song the album is highlighted by the 70's country rock flavored Carrying The Torch, the spirited traditional vibe of The Piney River, and the riveting upbeat barn dance playfulness of Revival Time.

Ultimately, the album is a winning culmination of The Grahams' long journey into the heart of America, the inspiration they derived from immersion into classic American music, and the natural and honest talent they have for bringing forth a modern musical idiom steeped in tradition.

    Includes 8-Page Booklet

Miami Pop Festival by the Jimi Hendrix Experience is the first-ever release of one of the guitar virtuoso's most sought-after performances, as originally recorded on site by Hendrix's long term sound engineer, Eddie Kramer. The live recording introduces the first recorded stage performances of Hear My Train A Comin' and Tax Free while showcasing definitive live takes on such classics as Fire, Hey Joe, I Don't Live Today and Purple Haze.

The first ever major rock festival staged on the East Coast, the May 1968 Miami Pop Festival was the first event promoted by Michael Lang--who would organize Woodstock, the biggest pop culture event of the decade, fifteen months later--and Ric O'Barry, who had been the dolphin trainer for the popular television program Flipper. Lang and O'Barry had been inspired by the June 1967 Monterey Pop Festival, the groundbreaking gathering where Jimi Hendrix, making his US debut, famously set fire to his guitar at the conclusion of his performance. Lang staged the festival at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida, securing the Jimi Hendrix Experience as the headline act for the two-day festival.

This lavish double LP package includes an 8-page booklet containing never before published photos taken at the festival and an essay by award-winning music journalist and Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli.

    Miami Pop Festival

All Analog Cut By Bernie Grundman & Pressed At QRP On 200 Gram Vinyl.

First-Ever Release of One Of The Guitar Virtuoso's Most Sought-After Performances, As Originally Recorded On Site By Hendrix's Long Term Sound Engineer, Eddie Kramer.

Jimi Hendrix Experience: Miami Pop Festival introduces the first recorded stage performances of Hear My Train A Comin' and Tax Free while showcasing definitive live takes on such classics as Fire, Hey Joe, I Don't Live Today and Purple Haze. The package includes never before published photos taken at the festival and an essay by award-winning music journalist and Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli.

    Songs Of Patience

The title of Alberta Cross' new studio album, Songs of Patience is, in many ways, literal. It's been three long years since the band last released a full-length album. The highs and lows of their journey raised a grander set of ideas, infusing the 10-song set's title with additional universal meaning.

After touring extensively on their debut, Broken Side of Time, with bands like Them Crooked Vultures, Oasis, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and stopping at festivals like Bonnaroo and Sasquatch, Alberta Cross headed to an old, abandoned house in the middle of nowhere near Woodstock, NY. There, they braved the freezing winter and embraced a sense of the building's haunted past to envision ideas for a new records.

In the end, the record is the sum of three years' worth of parts, a struggle that concluded in victory. Three difference producers: Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket), Mike Daly (Whiskeytown, Young the Giant) and Claudius Mittendorfer (Muse, Interpol). It opens new possibilities for the band's visceral live show, a notable facet of the group defined by their raucous, gritty onstage performances that swell the tracks into bigger, more expansive versions of themselves. Song of Patience has also, in many ways, become a decided source of inspiration for the band members, one they hope magnifies the personal battles and upsides of their fans.

The Who: The Studio Albums (Box Set)

A Quick One Ranked 383/500 On Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time.

The most explosive live act ever to appear on stage, The Who stands alone in rock music. Propelled by the most staggeringly brilliant rhythm section in all popular music, layered with deafening power chords and thunderous vocal fury, The Who transcended its original billing as "Maximum R&B" to become the most musically inventive and structurally innovative band of all time.

Together, the four divergent personalities of The Who produced a hurricane. Each member of the group was a pioneer. Wildman drummer Keith Moon beat his kit with a chaotic elegance; stoic bassist John Entwistle held down the center with the melodic virtuosity of a solo guitarist; raging intellectual Pete Townshend punctuated the epic universality of his songs with the windmill slamming of his fingers across his guitar strings; and Roger Daltrey roared above it all with an impossibly virile macho swagger.

They exploded conventional rhythm and blues structures, challenged pop music conventions, and redefined what was possible on stage, in the recording studio, and on vinyl. Never before or since has spiritual and intellectual brilliance sounded so gloriously furious!

Alone among the great bands, The Who has found itself at the center of every major rock event from Monterey, Woodstock, and the Isle of Wight to the Concert for Kampuchea, Live Aid, and the Concert for NYC. In any era, The Who is a true touchstone for rock and roll greatness. They have sold over 100 million albums and won every award including Grammys, Brit Awards and Lifetime Achievement and have been inducted into both the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and UK Music Hall of Fame!

    Borboletta (Speakers Corner)

After some hot live performances and subversive jaunts made in the aftershock of Woodstock, Santana and his band entered the calm atmosphere of the recording studio to make their sixth album. Taking a look at the blue butterfly on the LP cover, it wasn't surprising that purist Santana fans scented that the music in this particular garden would be more gentle and cultivated than the previous hard-rock sound. But one thing after another: in attune with semi natural sounds, the 'Canto De Los Flores' swings along to dabbed figures on the Rhodes piano and waves of multi-cultural drumming.

The drama continues with Life Is Anew - a powerfully arranged ballad, followed by a highly emotional rock number (Give And Take). This takes us to where Santana feels most at home - Promise Of A Fisherman with its velvety, wonderfully expansive guitar sound. By now, at the latest, the listener joins the sensitive outdoorsman on his chase after the butterfly named Boborletta with a wealth of gorgeous sounds. Don't hesitate to capture this rare specimen for your collection!

    Unattended Luggage (Pre-Order)

    Release Date: August 31, 2018*

Nick Mason is one of the biggest selling artists of all time. A co-founding member of Pink Floyd, he is the only constant member of the group, performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows. In May of this year, Nick debuted his new band Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets with four intimate shows in London (Camden Dingwalls 20 May and The Half Moon in Putney 21, 23 and 24 May) to an incredible reception.

    Unattended Luggage is a further celebration of Nick Mason and his undeniably significant contribution to music. The set contains;

'Fictitious Sports' - Nick's debut solo album which was originally released in 1981 and saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley.

'Profiles' - A collaboration with 10cc guitarist Rick Fenn, it was Nick's second album outside of Pink Floyd and was released in 1985 as 'Mason + Fenn'. This is a mainly instrumental album except for tracks 'Lie for a Lie', which features vocals from Maggie Reilly and former bandmate David Gilmour and 'Israel', sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.

'White of the Eye' - A soundtrack for a British thriller movie of the same name, Nick once again collaborated with Rick Fenn. Originally released in 1987, in conjunction with the film's release, this is the first time the record has been made available for over 20 years, and the first time it will appear on CD.

Nick Mason says, These recordings hold a very special place for me in my musical life. 'Fictitious Sports' developed initially from working with Mike Mantler, Carla Bley and Robert Wyatt on a couple of their projects, and benefited enormously from a whole crew of great musicians that I was introduced to by them at Grog Kill Studios in Woodstock.

"'Profiles' and 'White of the Eye' were an extension of working with Rick Fenn on some advertising and short documentary film soundtracks, which then developed into something more.
