With Sympathy is the debut album by Ministry released in 1983, with Ministry's members at the time being Alain Jourgensen and Stephen George.
The album could be considered more Synth Pop and New Wave than the harder Industrial Heavy Metal style the band developed later on albums like Twitch and The Land Of Rape And Honey. Jourgensen's fake English accent was an homage to the new wave bands he loved at the time.
Three singles were pulled from the album: Work For Love, I Wanted to Tell Her and Revenge, the latter of which got a video. This long out-of-print album is now finally available again on vinyl!1. Effigy

MINISTRY has reunited, revamped its line-up, signed to Nuclear Blast Records, recently returned from a full world tour, and is now preparing to release their 14th studio album, AmeriKKKant. Society and Politics have taken a turn for the insane and frightening in the United States and across the globe, leaving much inspiration and frustration for MINISTRY to draw from. Jourgensen remembers his shock while witnessing everyone and everything around him during the recent election process, and awoke on the morning of November 9th 2016 proclaiming: "We are making a fuckin' album - right now."
AmeriKKKant, like all MINISTRY projects, is an organic reflection of not just the band's talent and sounds, but of the society in which we all live and breathe. Jourgensen says "I've spoken my piece on the societal conditions that would elect such a blithering idiot. It's not an anti-Trump album, it's like a- 'did you pay attention in school? Does anybody have any intellectual curiosity anymore?'- album. [It's] basically just holding up a mirror to ourselves and saying: 'Look at this, is this what you really want to be?'"
With a new line up, incredibly full sound, and some might say a return to the roots of MINISTRY, the band is prepared to release a record that is socially relevant and sonically effective. Fans can look forward to a hearty future for not just MINISTRY, but SURGICAL METH MACHINE, and REVOLTING COCKS as well. There is simply too much insanity in this world for Jourgensen not to speak his mind and keep our senses alive with his vast array of decibels and visuals: "I'm afraid for the stupidity of not embracing nonsense. I think nonsense is a great escape from the rigors of being in life's hamster wheel."1. I Know Words

Last Tangle In Paris - Live 2012 DeFiBrilLaTouRMinistry's Last Tangle in Paris documents a time capsule in music history which
will never be repeated. In addition to Live Ministry performances, it also embodies
rare backstage footage and one-on-one interviews. Ministry founder and front man,
Al Jourgensen has no intention to tour Ministry ever again, and thus this documentary
is most certainly Jourgensen's last tangle in Paris.
The US leg of the DeFiBRilLaTouR was a four-city run in Denver, Los Angeles, New York,
with two shows in Chicago. The band then flew to Finland to embark on the seven
week European leg of the DeFiBRiLlaTouR that included festivals and club shows in Finland,
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Ireland, United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland,
Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Russia. Legendary songs performed on the DVD include Psalm 69 and
New World Order. As a special bonus - the digipack version will include a Ministry tour retrospective double audio
album with live performances dating back to 2006.

In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up (Live)Import
American industrial metal band Ministry was founded by lead singer Al Jourgensen in 1981. Originally a new wave synthpop outfit, Ministry changed its style to become one of the pioneers of industrial metal in the mid-80s.
In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up is a live album by the band. The album was originally released in 1990 and contains the live show performed in Merillville on February 22, 1990.
The album is six songs long, but delivers big time for each of them. The energy, the maniacal chaos and an order under the surface of this chaos.
Onstage, the founding stars of Chicago's industrial-noise movement come on like a battalion of bare-knuckle soldiers. In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up, a six-track live set features mad-dog bandleader Al Jourgensen barking over a barrage of rock noise synchronized to hammering rhythms. Ferocious fun if you can stand it. - Entertainment Weekly

UNIM-NUL-7822xNine Inch Nails
Pretty Hate Machine (2010 Remaster)Fans can now revisit the conception of Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor's Null Corporation has teamed up with UMe/The Bicycle Music Company to release Pretty Hate Machine: 2010 Remaster on 12/7/2010. After completing the score for David Fincher's The Social Network, Reznor oversaw the digital remastering of Pretty Hate Machine from the newly unearthed original tapes with engineer Tom Baker (whose NIN credits include The Downward Spiral, Broken, The Fragile, With Teeth and Ghosts). This remastered version includes an eleventh track, a cover of Queen's Get Down Make Love, originally the B-side to the Sin single and produced by Al Jourgensen. Rob Sheridan, NIN's longtime art director, has also re-imagined the packaging of Pretty Hate Machine under Reznor's supervision.
As a young musician in Cleveland, Ohia, Reznor took a job at a local recording studio and employed unused studio time to develop his own material. The nascent album was later recorded with his favorite producers including Flood/Mark Ellis (U2, Depeche Mode, PJ Harvey), John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, This Mortal Coil), Adrian Sherwood (Ministry, Cabaret Voltaire) and Keith LeBlanc (Trackhead). The result was the first Nine Inch Nails album, 1989's Pretty Hate Machine. All songs were written, arranged, programmed and performed by Reznor. The album featured the breakthrough singles Sin, Down In It and Head Like A Hole, and ultimately sold over 3 million copies, reaching Triple Platinum sales status. In the wake of the album's inital underground success, NIN soon developed a reputation as one of the best live acts in rock and jointed the inaugural Lollapalooza tour in 1991. NIN have since sold more than 18 million albums, collected Grammy Awards and headline arenas, amphitheaters and festivals worldwide.
The Bicycle Music Company acquired the rights to Pretty Hate Machine from a division of Prudential Securities in the spring of 2010. It was Bicycle's intention from the onset to enable Reznor to regain some control of this lost piece of NIN's legacy, resulting in this artist approved 2010 reissue of one of music's most groundbreaking and influential albums. Note: The previous CD version was reissued in 2005 but was not overseen by Reznor and is now out of print.
Reznor is currently working on new music as a member of the group How To Destroy Angels, continuing his Nine Inch Nails efforts and composing for future film score projects.1. Head Like A Hole

First Pressing Of 1500 Copies On Orange/Yellow Vinyl
Filth Pig is the sixth studio album by industrial metal band Ministry. Originally released in 1996, the title was allegedly derived from a statement made in the British Houses of Parliament, where bandleader Jourgensen was described as a filthy pig by MP Teddy Taylor.
For Filth Pig, Ministry stripped all synthesizers and most samples from their style and made the music almost entirely with ultra-noisy guitars, heavy bass, and real drums. The songs were played mostly at slower tempos than the very fast ones that were used for the compositions on their previous three LPs, giving it an almost Doom Metal feel. Filth Pig was supported with the singles/videos Reload, The Fall, Lay Lady Lay ( a cover of Bob Dylan's old country-tinged hit) and Brick Windows.

Dark Side Of The SpoonImport
Available On Vinyl For The First Time
Dark Side Of The Spoon is the seventh studio album by Industrial Metal band Ministry, released in 1999. The song Bad Blood was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2000.
There are two theories behind the title (which occurs in the lyrics of the opening track), the first being a simple play on words, referencing Pink Floyd's record The Dark Side Of The Moon. The second is a reference to the blackened or dark side of a spoon when heated to dissolve heroin, as the band suffered from addiction to said substance at the time.
The album's cover, which features a naked fat woman sitting in front of a black board with I will be god written numerous times gained controversy and was banned from Kmart. The woman and the words on the blackboard were later airbrushed out.

Orpheus' journey to the underworld is reworked as a post-apocalyptic skate rock-opera in this 1989 cult classic. The mortal world faces imminent destruction when Hades unleashes an evil television signal that sublimates and kills its viewers. These hypnotic broadcasts from the EUTHANASIA BROADCAST NETWORK are seducing the masses - except skateboard-guitarist Orpheus and his band of "SHREDDERS" who can see through this nefarious scheme. To save the world and his kidnapped wife Orpheus must penetrate the world of the dead and free the television airwaves. Armed with a futuristic guitar and a skateboard from hell, Orpheus storms onto the EBN stage to liberate the airwaves and rescue his wife.
Shredder Orpheus features many Seattle performance luminaries including Seattle poet/performance artist Steven Jesse Bernstein (Sub Pop), and Robert McGinley in the title role. Sieg Howdy!Fucking AWESOME. Jello and the Melvins #2. Buy It.
What, you need more reasons? Jello Biafra and the Melvins are musical pranksters united for a common cause - to detonate your brain with some of the most twisted rock anthems ever crafted!
Starting off album #2 with a heavier-than-life version of the Alice Cooper cult classic, Halo of Flies, an intricate tune that alternately slithers and crushes, the band then proceed to treat us to a completely different extended take of their tune The Lighter Side of Global Terrorism (Jello's Hawkwind influence showed through when he asked the Melvins to create a take on the song similar to their cover of Youth of America by The Wipers). With the first two harrowing tracks clocking in at over fifteen minutes -this is not what you'd expect from a Jello record - steering into a more Melvinoid direction, but remaining distinctly separate from anything easily definable - far from a mishmash or outtakes collection, even the Jelvins were surprised at how well Sieg Howdy! flowed as an album.
Through the course of the album the band (yes, they sound like a proper band, not a project!) erupts with colors of its respective players in turns. Biafra's spleen-venting rants Voted off the Island and Those Dumb Punk Kids (Will Buy Anything) are amongst his most acerbic (not to mention insightful!), and the Melvins' cathartic drum and guitar workouts pummel brilliantly through Lessons in What Not to Become and the septic all bass-chug of Kevin Rutmanis (making his final appearance on vinyl with the Melvins on this album) and Buzzo that anchors Wholly Buy Bull.
Of course, the cherry on top is Jello and the lads ripping through a new, updated version of Kalifornia Über Alles - as sung by the GropenfÜhrer himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger! With Jello's unmistakable wit and even more distinctive punk-rock croon fully intact, it's a breath of fresh air to hear a live Jello classic sound the way it was intended to for a change!
The album's remaining remixed tracks serve to deepen the impression that what has been created throughout the course of this collaboration is the work of a band - A band whose songs have enough depth to remain interesting in new and sonic environs. Dalek's chilling reworking of Dawn of the Locusts brings the song into a completely different light, and Al Jourgensen's (Ministry) take on Enchanted Thoughtfist is so cold and almost new-wave-y that it works brilliantly. The tone of the track reaches waaay back into the Ministry back catalog, surprising even Al himself! Then the fresh new tag-team Deaf Nephews (Dale Crover and Toshi, the album's engineer) reshape Caped Crusader into a disturbing cartoon version of itself to round out the record. The fact that these songs are open to this kind of interpretation, and that these interpretations work so well is a testament to the quality with which they were crafted in the first place.
Once again, the band is joined by Adam Jones from Tool on guitar for over half the tracks, and this time around, the stunning artwork is provided by none other than Camille Rose Garcia! 27 minutes of new and never before heard Jello Biafra and the Melvins and 17 minutes of remixed weirdness from the group's friends has created a record that surpasses its predecessor in sheer sonic audacity and is an extremely satisfying listen in its own right. Whether you missed the boat the first time around, or you couldn't get enough of Never Breathe What You Can't See, it's time to stand up, put your right hand over your heart, extend that middle finger, and say it loud - say it proud - SEIG HOWDY!1. Divine InterventionThe rock & roll landscape changed dramatically between Seasons in the Abyss in 1990 and Divine Intervention in 1994. With the rise of alternative rock, many metal and hard rock bands that had been enormously successful at the dawn of the '90s were struggling by the middle of the decade. Instead of doing something calculated like emulating Nirvana or Pearl Jam -- or for that matter, Nine Inch Nails or Ministry -- Slayer wisely refused to sound like anyone but Slayer. Tom Araya and co. responded to the new environment simply by striving to be the heaviest metal band they possibly could. Less accessible than Seasons but equally riveting, Divine Intervention marked drummer Paul Bostaph's studio debut with the band. Bostaph proved to be a positive, energizing influence on Slayer, which sounds better than ever on such dark triumphs as Killing Fields, Serenity in Murder, and Circle of Beliefs. Characteristically grim and morbid, Slayer focus on the violently repressive nature of governments and the lengths to which they will go to wield power. And true to form, Slayer's music is as disturbing as their lyrics.

Opus EponymousGHOST is the name of a devil worshipping ministry, that in order to spread their unholy gospels and, furthermore, trick mankind into believing that the end is ultimately a good thing, have decided to use the ever so popular rock music medium as a way to achieve their ends.
Standing motionless and anonymous beneath the painted faces, hoods and robes which their sect demand, the six nameless ghouls of Ghost deliver litanies of sexually pulsating heavy rock music and romantic lyrics, that glorify and glamorise the disgusting and sacrilegious, with the simple intention to communicate a message of pure evil via the most effective device they can find - entertainment.
In May 2010 Ghost were contracted to a UK based gramophone company called Rise Above Ltd, who swore an oath stating that they will assist the group in the task of spreading their musical blasphemies through formats such as Compact Discs, Long Playing Vinyl Records and Digital Downloading.
The first full length Ghost album Opus Eponymous will be released in October 2010 and it is understood and agreed that Rise Above Ltd will invest money in areas such as magazine advertising and retail marketing and will employ the services of music publicity specialists in order to expose the music of Ghost to the wider public.
Specific attention will be paid to targeting people (research suggests these are most likely to be adolescents) who have a void in their life, perhaps caused by some form of emotional trauma or upset, that can be filled by the music and philosophies of Ghost. In time, these easily manipulated children will come to share the views and goals of the Ghost sect and can prepare their own plans for the downfall of humanity....1. Deus Culpa
