Hailing from Sacramento, CA, Death Grips was formed in late 2010 and consists of vocalist Stefan Burnett and production team Zach Hill and Andy Morin.

The band dropped the highly acclaimed mix tape Exmilitary featuring the standout track "Guillotine," Time Out NY 's #1 single of 2011. The release garnered critical praise from tastemakers such as Pitchfork, NME, Spin and The New Yorker, ending up on many year end 'best of' lists.

Death Grips follows-up Exmilitary with their Epic Records debut, The Money Store. The album builds on Exmilitary's unique punk rap sound and explores new territory with the standout tracks "Get Got," "Blackjack" and "I've Seen Footage."

    Eddie Money

Mastered By Ryan Smith At Sterling Sound

Plated And Pressed At Quality Record Pressings!

    Stoughton Printing Old-Style Tip-On Jacket

Edward Joseph Mahoney, a Brooklyn-born second-generation cop who eventually ditched his badge and gun to pursue his rock star dreams as Eddie Money - struck gold right off the bat with his 1977 self-titled debut album.

The record's leadoff single, Baby Hold On, was actually its biggest hit, but the follow-up single Two Tickets to Paradise, was a sort of spiritual cousin to Bruce Springsteen's Rosalita (Come Out Tonight). It's written from the perspective of a young guy who's desperately trying to convince his girlfriend to ignore her disapproving parents and come away with him on a trip so far away from here. With its smooth production, urgent uptempo chorus, and insistent melodic hook, Tickets was a natural for late '70s FM radio - where it found an immediate home, eventually working its way all the way up to No. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Although Money might have written Two Tickets to Paradise to convince a specific girl to leave town with him, its title became shorthand for that end-of-the-work-week feeling you get when you've fulfilled all of your responsibilities to the Man and you're free to relax without obligations for a little while - like, say, at at an Eddie Money concert, where Tickets has remained a constant fixture of the set list for more than 30 years.

We've done this Analogue Productions issue up right with top-of-the-line remastering from Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound - for phenomenal sonic quality - and a richly detailed, silent-background Quality Record Pressings 200 gram LP. None better.

    Blood Money

Blood Money is based on the socio/political play Woyzeck, originally written by a young German poet Georg Buchner as a spare, cinematic piece in 1837 and inspired by the true story of a German soldier who was driven mad by bizarre army medical experiments and infidelity, which led him to murder his lover. Waits, along with wife and collaborator Kathleen Brennan, wrote songs for an avant-garde production of Woyzeck directed by Robert Wilson, which premiered in November 2000 at the Betty Nansen Theater in Copenhagen and went on to win Denmark's version of the Tony for Best Musical. The album careens from the brutal to the tender with assaulting rhythms and romantic melodies. It's a grim musical deposition on the human condition, a dark mortality play where Tin Pan Alley meets the Weimer Republic.Blood Money is flesh and bone, earthbound, said Waits. The songs are rooted in reality: jealousy, rage, the human meat wheel...They are more carnal. I like a beautiful song that tells you terrible things. We all like bad news out of a pretty mouth. I like songs to sound as though they've been aging in a barrel and distressed.

    Money Talks (Awaiting Repress)

Alongside other pioneering crossover acts like New York's S.O.D., Texas' D.R.I., and fellow Californians Suicidal Tendencies, Santa Monica's Cryptic Slaughter was influenced in equal parts by the lessons of political punk rock and no-holds-barred thrash metal. On its 1986 debut, Convicted, the quartet had opened a significant door, pushing hardcore into realms of sheer speed and furious hatred it had only flirted with in the past. So how in hell were they supposed to top this unbelievably crude but crucial document? Well, longtime fans will always bicker over favorites, but there seems to exist a split decision between that landmark first effort and its worthy successor, 1987's Money Talks. Defenders of the latter will probably tell you that Money Talks, with its cleaner production, more piercing lyrics, and varied tempos, struck the perfect balance between Convicted's innocent primitivism and the excessive refinement of third opus Stream of Consciousness. But the truth is that these differences seem both minimal and trivial after all these years; let's drop the subject and let the music do the talking. On Money Talks, Cryptic Slaughter's self-mandated crusade against the system begins with the album's Reagan-bashing cover artwork. From there on out, standout tracks like the title track, Wake Up, Freedom of Expression?, and All Wrong pack just as much power and intensity, if not outright insanity, as earlier Cryptic Slaughter favorites. One department they'd definitely improved in was Bill Crooks' lyrics, which proved even more intelligent and incisive this time around without sacrificing any of the brute conviction in his delivery. Simply put, with its tightly wound construction highlighting the nervous tension between punk and metal at euphoric new levels, Money Talks remains a peerless example of '80s hardcore.

    Money And Cigarettes (Pre-Order)

    Release Date: September 28, 2018*

Money and Cigarettes marked several important turning points in Eric Clapton's recording career: his debut release on his own Duck imprint; the first album he made after giving up drinking; and new players (with the exception of second guitarist Albert Lee) including Stax Records veteran bassist Donald Duck Dunn and Muscle Shoals drummer Roger Hawkins, also bringing in guest guitarist Ry Cooder.

His new songs reflected on his changed condition, with Ain't Going Down, a thinly veiled musical rewrite of the Jimi Hendrix arrangement of All Along the Watchtower, serving as a statement of purpose that declared, I've still got something left to say. Other notable hits include The Shape You're In, the acoustic ballad Pretty Girl and covers of Sleepy John Estes' Everybody Oughta Make a Change (significantly placed as the album's leadoff track), Albert King's Crosscut Saw, and Johnny Otis' Crazy Country Hop.

Priests are the sort of band that is unafraid to look you right in the eye and beg answers to big questions. In early 2012, Priests began playing frantic post-punk, full of tempered tension and thoughtful rage and relentless energy that would come from living in the microcosm of institutional oppression that is DC. Their music conveys a sense of unmatched urgency in their smart, politically charged, noisy songs.

Debut album from the British band. Hailing from Manchester, Money released their debut single 'Who's Going to Love You Now' last year. Simon Raymonde was immediately enraptured, and promptly tracked the band down to see if they had anything else in their locker. As it turns out, they did. Promptly signing to Bella Union, the band recently sealed off work in the studio. 'Bluebell Fields' hit the web recently, and made a mighty impression: golden of tone, honeyed of voice, it's the sort of thing spines were meant to shiver to.

    Devil Music

Randall Bramblett's latest release, Devil Music, is built upon a foundation of R&B and Soul, but this album spreads its wings with Rock & Roll fervor and a willingness to improvise. Devil Music was inspired by the biography, Moanin' At Midnight: The Life and Times Of Howlin' Wolf . In the book, Hubert Sumlin tells a story of Howlin' Wolf crying all the way from Mississippi to Chicago. Wolf and his band had been on tour when they decided to make a stop at his boyhood home in White Station, Mississippi. Wolf wanted to take his mama money and show her who he'd become. She opened the door, saw who it was and she slammed the door in Wolf's face. She told him she didn't want his money and didn't want anything to do with him. Wolf played "Devil Music."
