Colour My Heart (Pre-Order)Charlotte OC's new track 'Colour My Heart' is an intoxicating mix of emotional lyrics and heady, thick vocals. The 22 year old, Blackburn born singer has spread her wings over to LA and recorded and produced a supernatural title track and video.
There is a spooky and bewitching sound to the song that is powered along by underlying beats and earthy melodies pulsating throughout. Charlotte drew on an influence that through the darkness there is beauty; an idea that dawned upon her in a nightclub and the video perfectly compliments the track in light of this.
With a definite overtone of mystical beauty, her musical feels spiritual and almost occultist. So when we found out that the singer's initial musical inspiration came in the form of dressing up as a witch when she was younger, we were less than surprised. This look has more or less been carried over to the video and we were almost expecting her to whip out a crystal ball and some tarot cards.1. Colour My Heart

Sketches For My Sweetheart The Drunk (Pre-Order)Perhaps the most talented son act in pop music, Jeff Buckley combined the often harrowing eclecticism of estranged papa Tim Buckley with the rock acrobatics of Robert Plant. This posthumously released collection of four-track demos and sessions helmed by Tom Verlaine indicates that Buckley's astonishing full-length debut, Grace, was no fluke. The young singer-songwriter puts his falsetto to good use on an extraordinary collection of original material, from the soulful Everybody Here Wants You to the psychedelic Murder Suicide Meteor Slave. And while his bluesy take on Porter Wagoner's Satisfied Mind may not be as revelatory as his earlier version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, this album offers ample proof that Buckley was among his generation's most gifted voices. --Bill FormanLP 1

My Aim Is True (Awaiting Repress)180 Gram Vinyl
Elvis Costello's phenomenal debut release is available on 180 gram vinyl re-mastered from the original master
tapes. The album includes the standout ballad "Alison," "(The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes," "Watching The Detectives," and "Less Than Zero" among others
The history behind My Aim Is True is as rich as the songs. Before landing at then-fledgling English indie label Stiff Records, Costello had been laboring as a computer operator housed next door to a lipstick factory. The conditions couldnt be riper for the cynical blue-collar observations and fierce humor that pierce tracks like Welcome to the Working Week and Less Than Zero. Costello took inspiration from London subway rides, venomous politics, and surrounding vanity.
Having been rejected by what he estimated amounted to every other label in the city, Costello began calling in sick to his day job in order to record material for what become My Aim Is True. Made for just 1000 pounds and over the course of four six-hour sessions, the experience found Costello recording his parts in a room the size of a telephone booth. His backing bandClover, not the Attractions (save for on Watching the Detectives, left off the original UK release)rounded out the slinky, melodic songs with spare details such as fuzztone pedal steel guitar and organ. The minimal budget ensured that nothing extra or fancy was employed. Overdubs werent really an option; what was played is basically what you hear.1. Welcome To The Working Week

I Left My Heart In San FranciscoCan there really be a definitive album from a singer whose voice is one of the most immediately recognized and internationally cherished, and whose command of songs is akin to the manner in which an able-bodied masseuse handles delicate muscle tissues? If so, then I Left My Heart In San Francisco is that record, the 1962 effort a turning point for the great Tony Bennett and an all-time pop standard. Winner of two Grammy Awards, the record contains Bennetts signature track as well as eleven other indelible classics.
Half-speed mastered from the original master tapes, Mobile Fidelitys numbered limited-edition 180g LP presents Bennett in the finest sound hes ever enjoyed. Amazingly, this landmark recording has lavished in the vaults over the years and longed for the restoration that meticulous engineering can bring. Gone is the veiled haze that hung over the orchestrations, artificial ceiling that held back the highs, and cloudiness that obscured the entire range of Bennetts vocals. Previously unheard levels of warmth, expressiveness, and detailing are just some of the hallmarks of this terrific audiophile delight.
At the time of the albums sessions, Bennett found himself caught between the need to sing thin uptempo numbers in order to appease the marketplace and the desire to move beyond the jazzier material he tackled in the late 50s. Unwilling to compromise his will to sing ballads and swing, Bennett, along with producer Ernest Altschuler and arranger/pianist Ralph Sharon, found the perfect combination on I Left My Heart In San Francisco, replete with expansive orchestration, period echo, anthemic ballads, and lush pop arrangements that still leave plenty of room for intimacy and delicacy.
Theres little left to say about the timeless title track, amidst the most definitive songs ever recorded. Similarly, the closing The Best Is Yet to Come ranks equally high, with Bennetts rendition coming a full two years before Frank Sinatras version. Its no wonder why The Voice deemed Bennett his favorite singer. The proof is everywhere, whether on the brassy Rules of the Road, big-band bossa nova send-up of Cole Porters Love for Sale, tender Have I Told You Lately?, or the white-gloves treatment of the Broadway tune Once Upon a Time. Bennetts charismatic personality and refined singing ring true throughout, his burnished baritone as clear as spring water.
Now, hear this triumphant performance as if Bennett is singing to you on a private stage. Witness every breath, and experience the thrill of the singer holding a note for what seems like eternity on I'm Always Chasing Rainbows without flinching. Seldom, if ever, has a vocalists singing sounded so effortlessly natural and innate. Mobile Fidelitys 180g LP is simply unmatched in terms of sonics, spaciousness, and sensation.

Shooter (Pre-Order)Ever the outlaw, Jennings has now crafted what might well be his most truly idiosyncratic work thus far, SHOOTER. Produced by longtime friend and collaborator, Low Country Sound founder Dave Cobb, at the renowned RCA Studio A on Nashville's Music Row, the album sees Jennings staking out a fairly straightforward goal: to simply make a great country record.
It should be noted, Jennings' last studio album was a genuinely visionary tribute to Giorgio Moroder so in some ways, making a straight up country record is as much of a left turn as anything else in his brilliantly mercurial career thus far. But with songs like Fast Horses & Good Hideouts or the raucous I'm Wild & My Woman Is Crazy, Jennings more than affirms his mission by returning to country's original, if oft misplaced, mandate: singing songs about growing up and getting older, about going out and getting trashed.
In short, making music for real people with real lives. With SHOOTER, Jennings truly puts his own mark on country music, living up to his extraordinary birthright with unparalleled passion, experience, and heart.1. Bound Ta Git Down

The Cookbook (Pre-Order)With The Cookbook, the innovative Missy Elliott proves to the masses she is a musical mad scientist whose artistic abilities are unparalleled and without peer. Elliott is a quadruple threat: rapper, singer, songwriter and producer; add that to her woman-empowered lyrics and Missy's ability to be a musical and mental role model is inarguable. As a producer, Missy Elliott knows how to build a great project by incorporating the best talent available, an easy task since so many want to work with her. Not surprisingly, The Cookbook is filled with a world-class guest list.
That very large list includes American Idol winner Fantasia , cRunk&B queen Ciara , old-school rapper Slick Rick , dancehall sensation M.I.A. (on the drumline-heavy Bad Man) and the current queen of soul, Mary J. Blige . In a reversal of roles, My Struggles finds Missy singing Ya'll don't really know my life, y'all don't really know my struggles while Mary J. raps over a sample of herself from What's The 411. One unexpected surprise is Missy sings out more than on previous releases. The bare-bones Remember When is a definite standout, a 70's-inspired slow jam highlighted by her honest lyrics, sweet falsetto and jazz-affected tones. The beautiful melancholy of Teary Eyed is another standout, an amen-inducing testament to a relationship gone wrong and the beginning of the healing process.
To hear Missy sing with full rawness and no bravado is a further testament to her talents and will likely bring an even larger audience into her fold. - Denise Sheppard1. Joy

Black Labyrinth (Pre-Order)It would be nearly impossible to mistake anyone else for Jonathan Davis. A true original, the Bakersfield, CA singer, songwriter, composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist indelibly impacts millions as frontman for alt-metal/rock game-changers KoRn-whose accolades encompass two GRAMMY® Award wins, worldwide sales of 40 million-plus, and countless sold out shows in nearly every corner of the globe. Throughout over 20 years in music, his presence coursed through the film scores, contributions to popular video game franchises, and official remixes for the likes of Steve Aoki and more. Along the way, he lent his voice to tracks for everyone from Linkin Park to Tech N9ne. However, 2018 sees him doing something he has yet to do: release his first solo album.
Writing and recording on the road, he played guitar, keys, and anything else he could get his hands on. Moreover, the music was primarily recorded live. Led by the single "What It Is," it continues a tradition by boldly treading new territory.

Da Real World (Pre-Order)Throughout the entirety of Da Real World, Missy Elliott is determined to redefine the meaning of the negative, female-targeted b-word (the album was originally going to be titled She's a Bitch). Inverting the term to represent a woman who knows what she wants, Missy exhibits her new attitude by aggressively showcasing her strong songwriting skills and superb vocal talents.
Her lyrics are relatively simple, but perfectly complement the syncopated orchestrations of the often-imitated, never-duplicated producer Timbaland. Climactic strings dance around the voices of Missy, Nicole, and Outkast's Big Boi on All N My Grill and on Busa Rhyme a punctuating tone accentuates the dark confessions of featured MC Eminem. Miss E...So Addictive (Pre-Order)After a long winter of discontent, So Addictive finds Missy Elliott hoping to initiate hip-hop's summer of love. Miss E's third album is dosed with feel-good flavor and has more guests than the VIP section of the hippest hip-hop hot spot. Buddies Method Man and Redman bark across the bridge of Dog in Heat's canine funk. Jay-Z and Ludacris feature on two different versions of One Minute Man's scathing soul. Synths tweak and creak in rhythm as Missy unleashes a dreamy diss of those hopeless suitors who unload their cargo before they've sparked her ignition. Take Away features Pony man Ginuwine on a hypnotic slow-burner heavily reminiscent of Art of Noise's Moments in Love.
When left to her own devices, as she is on Lick Shots (which jangles like Django Reinhardt on downers), Missy comes on like Schooly D, a fearless, female gangsta licking shots against anyone who dares cross her. On Scream a.k.a. Itchin' she breaks into a soprano. A 4/4 stomp is stamped indelibly across the ecstasy-holler song 4 My People (featuring Eve). Overall, it feels as if producer Timbaland has muted his experimental leanings on this outing with his favorite muse in favor of submersible club tracks. Musically, the bhangra beat bop of Get Ur Freak On is the standout. The spiral timing of Whatcha Gon' Do, the fret-skipping Slap! Slap Slap! (featuring Da Brat), and the sunken, drunken funk of the not-so-subtle X-hex X-Tasy are tied at a close second. -Chris Campion1. ...So Addictive (Intro)

The Godfather of Shock Rock Alice Cooper released his 20th studio album back in 1994. After a long period he made his comeback at the end of the 80s and the follow-up of predecessor Hey Stoopid is one of another level. The Last Temptation breathes the heavy metal in the storyline which is concentrated around the main character Steven. Aware of his downfall Alice created one of his best work in a long period of time. His return to mostly conceptual songs such as Nothing's Free and You're My Temptation brought him back at the top of the hard rock scene. His ballad Stolen Prayer is strong and can be classified under his best songs. The originality of the song Lost in America got him back on the playground and let us hear how he can still rock the world.
Over 50 years of working in the music industry brought Alice Cooper much fame, but also periods of time when he was searching for ways to get out of his addictions. The beloved entertainer sold millions of albums worldwide and has won numerous of awards.

Made An America (Pre-Order)Los Angeles-based trio, THE FEVER 333, is set to release their debut EP, MADE AN AMERICA, via Roadrunner Records.
Comprised of vocalist Jason Aalon Butler [ex-letlive.], drummer Aric Improta [Night Verses], and guitarist Stephen Harrison [ex-The Chariot], THE FEVER 333 are explicitly devoted to a revolutionary cause, delivering aggressive advocacy through a molotov cocktail of punk, hip-hop, and thrash.
MADE AN AMERICA exhibits THE FEVER 333's revolutionary activism, with lead track "Walking In My Shoes" serving as the banner for THE FEVER 333's focus on community, charity, and change.
"The movement is much greater than the music," says Butler. "The art is only a contingent piece. We want to make sure we're just as involved in the activism and actual activation. By no means do we expect other artists to take on this task. Most of the people who made big improvements were either assassinated or just called crazy. We make it ostensibly clear that everything we do is in an active effort for change. It's about bringing back that socio-political mindfulness. KULT 45 (Pre-Order)Iconic rockers OTEP recently announced details regarding their most uncompromising, candid, all-inclusive and controversial assessment of the current residing political regime that they have ever released. OTEP will release their eighth full-length album, aptly titled KULT 45, via Napalm Records.
Drawing influences from politically-charged recording artists of the past but allowing her artwork to remain fully and undeniably OTEP, Otep Shamaya continues her nearly two-decade invasion of the senses with KULT 45.
Today, OTEP dropped their first single from KULT 45 - a hyper-political outcry to the Resistance to challenge Trump's falsehoods and hypocrisies - entitled "To the Gallows". The track is streaming now via Billboard, alongside the first in-depth interview Otep Shamaya has taken part in since the announcement of KULT 45. Listen to the groovy, in-your-face track and read the interview here:
"Art is resistance. Art allows us to fight back without violence. This song, TO THE GALLOWS, is meant to shine a light on Traitor Trump's attacks on the Constitution, on Healthcare, on the LGBTQplus, the African American, Hispanic and Muslim communities, DREAMERS, and women's reproductive rights. Not to mention that this spurious President might have committed just a little bit of light treason, but this is why we rally, this is why march, and this is why I write. Because when I look back someday I want to know that I did everything in my power as an artist, activist and citizen, to stop him and his bigoted embryonic autocracy."
Throughout the span of her career, Otep Shamaya has been an undeniable force in bringing awareness via various acclaimed mediums to the social and political injustices felt by various communities and subcultures. For years, publications such as Revolver Magazine have lauded Shamaya for "following in the footsteps of outspoken musicians from folk singer Woody Guthrie to Rage Against The Machine's Zach de la Rocha", dubbing her "one of music's catalysts for social change". So, with the political climate as it is today, now it's the perfect time to impact with KULT 45.
Shamaya has gone on record to say that KULT 45 is the most authentic album OTEP has ever released, at least since their first record, and self-producing it helped achieve this result. KULT 45 was recorded at The Lair in Los Angeles, completely utilizing the same equipment used for OTEP's first album, Sevas Tra (down to Shamaya's vocal microphone, a SHURE Beta 58), in order to create a sound reminiscent of their roots. Elvis Is Back! is the tenth studio album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley. It was originally released on RCA Victor Records in April 1960. Recorded over two sessions in March and April, the album marked Presley's return to recording after his discharge from the U.S. Army.
In 1957, as Presley's fame was soaring, he received a draft notice from the Memphis Draft Board, but was given a deferment so he could finish his latest film production, King Creole. During Presley's two-year military service in Germany, RCA Victor and Paramount Pictures progressively released material he had completed prior to enlistment. During his last months in the Army, Presley experimented with new sounds and worked on further improving his performance. He also prepared material for his first session in Nashville, which was scheduled to take place upon his return. Presley returned to the United States on March 2, 1960. The singer reunited with his original band The Blue Moon Boys, excepting bassist Bill Black. The first session was held on March 20-21 and the second session was held on April 3-4, completing the album.
Elvis Is Back! topped the UK Albums Chart and reached number two in Billboard's Top LPs. Initially, the release received mixed reviews, but over subsequent years its critical reception became progressively more positive. Unattended Luggage (Pre-Order)Nick Mason is one of the biggest selling artists of all time. A co-founding member of Pink Floyd, he is the only constant member of the group, performing on all of their albums as well as all of their live shows. In May of this year, Nick debuted his new band Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets with four intimate shows in London (Camden Dingwalls 20 May and The Half Moon in Putney 21, 23 and 24 May) to an incredible reception.
Unattended Luggage is a further celebration of Nick Mason and his undeniably significant contribution to music. The set contains;
'Fictitious Sports' - Nick's debut solo album which was originally released in 1981 and saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley.
'Profiles' - A collaboration with 10cc guitarist Rick Fenn, it was Nick's second album outside of Pink Floyd and was released in 1985 as 'Mason + Fenn'. This is a mainly instrumental album except for tracks 'Lie for a Lie', which features vocals from Maggie Reilly and former bandmate David Gilmour and 'Israel', sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.
'White of the Eye' - A soundtrack for a British thriller movie of the same name, Nick once again collaborated with Rick Fenn. Originally released in 1987, in conjunction with the film's release, this is the first time the record has been made available for over 20 years, and the first time it will appear on CD.
Nick Mason says, These recordings hold a very special place for me in my musical life. 'Fictitious Sports' developed initially from working with Mike Mantler, Carla Bley and Robert Wyatt on a couple of their projects, and benefited enormously from a whole crew of great musicians that I was introduced to by them at Grog Kill Studios in Woodstock.

THE NEW AMERICA was recorded on the Hawaiian island of Kauai with the famed Todd Rundgren in
the producer's chair.
For the group's singer and songwriter, Greg Graffin, Rundgren's participation in
the recording effectively brought him together with one of his musical heroes and life-long influences.
With the maverick rock star and one of the underground's true originals in the role of project mentor,
Graffin rose to new heights of creativity, performance, passion, and perspective. On dramatic rock
tracks ranging from the propulsive, riff-roaring "You've Got A Chance" and the high-flying anti-anthem
"New America," Graffin sings of a welling optimism tempered by stark reality.
The millennial moment is dramatically surveyed with such insightful numbers as the cyber-sexy "I Love My Computer" and
"A World Without Melody." At the same time, such songs as "Whisper In Time," "A Streetkid
Named Desire," and "1000 Memories" find Graffin taking an introspective walk through personal
crisis, powerfully related in embraceable, universal tones. In the process of moving forward to carve
out one of the band's most dynamically alluring, energized, and communicative albums of their now 20-year-long career, Graffin reunited with former
guitarist and one of Bad Religion's founding members, Brett Gurewitz, to write the driving, soaring (and tellingly-titled) "Believe It." The contributions mark
Gurewitz's first to a Bad Religion album since 1994's RIAA gold-certified STRANGER THAN FICTION.1. You've Got A Chance

The American guitarist, singer and songwriter Gary Lourdis was founding member of the Minneapolis-based band The Jayhawks and their principal songwriter and vocalist after the departure of Mark Olson. He eventually was responsible for moving the band from folk-country towards a more progressive, pop sound. The band formed in 1985 in Minneapolis and appeared on Letterman in 2003, performing "Save It For A Rainy Day," off their Rainy Day Music album. They recorded seven albums for Columbia before going on hiatus in 2005. The band briefly reunited in 2011 for a new album and tour only to return to a hiatus when Olson left again in 2012.
Louris' additional credits include being a member of the intermittent Midwest collective, Golden Smog that recorded two albums on Rykodisc and two albums on Lost Highway from 1995 to 2007, as well as co-writing "Jealous of Moon" with Chris Thile in 2005-the song appeared on the Nickel Creek album Why Should The Fire Die?-and songs for the 2008 Dixie Chicks album Taking The Long Way.
In 2008, Rykodisc released Gary's first solo album Vagabonds. The album was produced by Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. In an interview, Louris was quoted as saying," It wasn't my intention to recapture the '70s or anything, that's just what comes out when I sing .Once we got the band together for the sessions, it actually reminded me of how The Jayhawks were when we started out. The music is new and exciting for them, and it was good for me to feed off of that." Vagabonds was recorded in Laurel Canyon, which is famous for being the center of the 1970s singer-songwriter scene, and is expanded here with bonus material from the sessions-many making their debut to vinyl, and others new to any physical formatLP 1

Among The Ghosts (Pre-Order)Lucero's ninth studio album, Among the Ghosts, is their first for noted Nashville indie label Thirty Tigers. It was recorded and co-produced with Grammy-winning engineer/producer and Memphis native Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Drive by Truckers) at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Service, the studio built by the legendary producer after outgrowing his Memphis Recording Service/Sun Studio.
Recorded primarily live as a five-piece, Among the Ghosts eschews the Stax-inspired horns and Jerry Lee Lewis-style boogie piano featured on some of the band's past recordings for a streamlined rock & roll sound that pays homage to their seminal influences as it seeks to push that legacy into the future. For a band who carried the torch of the alt-country movement back in the 90's and helped pave the way for what is now called Americana, Lucero have re-discovered what inspired them in the first place. The sound is more their own and at the same time not exactly like anything they've done before. This is a band settling into their craft. The 10-song disc's title is both a tribute to the spirits which roam the streets of their fabled city, as well as the hard road the determinedly independent band set out on 20 years ago. The band played around 200 shows per year for many of those 20 years.
With a nod to his younger brother Jeff Nichols, an acclaimed filmmaker whose movies include Loving, Mud, Take Shelter, Midnight Special, and Shotgun Stories; Nichols has written songs that are cinematic short stories, steeped in Southern gothic lore. There are nods to regional authors like Flannery O'Connor and Faulkner, as well as newer writers like Larry Brown (Big Bad Love, Fay), Ron Rash (The Cove, The World Made Straight), and William Gay (The Long Home).
As the first album he's written since his marriage and the birth of his now two-year-old daughter Izzy, Nichols approached the task as a narrator rather than in first person. It's a dark palette that includes tales of a haunting ("Among the Ghosts"), a drowning ("Bottom of the Sea), a reckoning with the devil ("Everything has Changed"), a divorce ("Always Been You"), and a shoot out ("Cover Me"). And that's just Side A. Side B is a letter from a battlefield ("To My Dearest Wife"), a crime ("Long Way Back Home"), a straight-out rocker ("For the Lonely Ones") and even a spooky spoken-word cameo from actor Michael Shannon, who has appeared in every one of Nichols' brother's films. The song's title "Back to the Night" references a line from Nick Tosches' Jerry Lee Lewis biography, Hellfire. In addition, there's a song Nichols wrote for his brother's movie Loving, which appeared in the film and on the soundtrack, re- recorded for Among the Ghosts with the whole band.
"You could also say there's a rescue, a getaway, a survival story and a middle finger to Satan himself," laughs Nichols. "It's all in your perspective."
Several songs juxtapose going off to battle with a rock & roll band's endless touring, shifting time periods like the spirits which haunt the album, the happiness of domestic bliss undercut with fears of loss and the specter of mortality. Among the Ghosts simultaneously reprises the past and looks to the future, while being firmly anchored in the present.
Musically, the band highlights range from co-founding member Brian Venable's Dire Straits-meets-War on Drugs guitar pyrotechnics in "Bottom of the Sea" and "Cover Me" to the Springsteen vibe of "For the Lonely Ones," Rick Steff's skeletal piano lines on "Always Been You," John C's bass lines in "Everything Has Changed" and "Long Way Back Home," and drummer Roy Berry's dynamic shifts from the powerful and brutal title track "Among the Ghosts" to the marching drive of "To My Dearest Wife" and the subtlety of "Loving." Throughout, Nichols' bourbon-soaked growl has become even more distinctive and commanding.
Among the Ghosts offers a timeless perspective on Lucero's distinctive sound. The lyrics could've been written 200 years ago or yesterday. Representing a new South compared to the one that's been mythologized, Lucero have formulated their own ideas and culture which, in some cases, contradicts what came before them (no Confederate flags), but also updates and reconsiders those traditions in a new light.
"I think we've tried to remake this place that we love and cherish in our own fashion. We are very proud of where we are from and we've spent the last 20 years trying to bring a bit of our version of home to the rest of the world It may have taken 20 years, but everything has fallen in place right where it needs to be," acknowledges Nichols. "There were some dark days in those middle years, but we've learned how to do this and survive. We still write heartbreak songs, but now, with a family at home, it's a whole new kind of heartbreak."
Among the Ghosts lays out that new territory with alacrity, as Lucero shines their Morning Star, burning just as brightly, if not more so, 20 years later. As one of the album's song titles so aptly puts it, "Everything Has Changed," but one thing hasn't Lucero's music remains more vital than ever.1. Among the Ghosts

Raise Vibration (Pre-Order)Set for release via BMG, Raise Vibration will be Lenny Kravitz's 11th studio album.
The record promises to be one of Kravitz's most eclectic. "Low," the song that got the whole process started, developed into a smooth funk showcase; what Kravitz calls "my Quincy Jones school" complete with horns and a string arrangement. The title track is lean power-trio rock, while the ballad "Here to Love" features Kravitz backed only by his piano and a string section. "Johnny Cash," inspired by an encounter with the late legend, is what Kravitz jokingly calls "psychedelic funk meets country."
As usual, Kravitz plays most of the instruments himself, with longtime guitarist Craig Ross. Lenny Kravitz has transcended genre, style, race and class into a 20-year musical career, one which revels in the rich influences of '60s and '70s soul, rock and funk. Kravitz's talents as a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist have resonated now through eleven studio albums into a timeless catalog. He has also won four consecutive GRAMMY Awards, setting a record for the most wins in the Best Male Rock Vocal Performance category.LP 1

Juliana Hatfield is an American musician and singer songwriter from New England formerly of the indie rock bands Blake Babies, The Juliana Hatfield Three, Some Girls and the Lemonheads. She has also performed and recorded as one half of Minor Alps with Matthew Caws of Nada Surf and has performed with or made contributions to the Lemonheads, Belly, Giant Sand, Susanna Hoffs, Aimee Mann and Mary Lou Lord over the span of her career. Growing up in the Boston area, Hatfield acquired a love of rock music in the 1970s having been introduced to the Los Angeles punk band, "X." Hatfield transferred to the Berklee College of Music from Boston University, hoping to join a band. She formed the Blake Babies with Freda Love and John Strohm in 1986. She sang, played guitar, bass guitar and piano in the group. Blake Babies were signed to indie label, Mammoth Records, in North Carolina and received airplay on college radio during the early 1990s. Hatfield and Strohm shared songwriting duties and often sang together. The band toured the U.S. and Europe and made music videos. Hatfield received a degree in songwriting from Berklee during this period. The Blake Babies disbanded in 1991 but reunited briefly in 1999, performing shows that year and embarking on a US tour in 2001. They released the critically-acclaimed, "God Bless The Blake Babies," to coincide with the tour. Frequent collaborator, Evan Dando of the Lemonheads made a guest appearance on the album.
Following the immediate break-up of the Blake Babies back in 1991, Hatfield joined the Lemonheads to record their album, "It's A Shame About Ray," playing bass and providing back-up vocals. She played and sang with the band on and off between the years 1992-1993. Juliana released her first solo album, "Hey Babe," in 1992. The album was one of the highest selling independent albums of the year. She recruited a rhythm section consisting of former Moving Targets and Bullet LaVolta drummer Todd Phillips, and Thudpucker bassist Dean Fisher, becoming the Juliana Hatfield Three. The JH3 achieved arena-rock stardom with the release of 1993's "Become What You Are." Several songs from the album got regularly played on major US rock stations, with her song, "My Sister," becoming the biggest hit of her career. The song placed #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart and the video became a staple at MTV. The track "Spin the Bottle," was used in the soundtrack for the film "Reality Bites" in 1994 and Juliana made the cover of Spin magazine. In 1995 following the success of "Become What You Are," she released her follow up album, "Only Everything," in which she "turned up the volume and the distortion and had a lot of fun." The album, her first for Atlantic Records, spawned another alternative radio hit in "Universal Heartbeat." Before engaging on a tour for this record, Juliana released Phillips and hired Jason Sutter, Ed Slanker on guitar and Lisa Mednick on keyboards. Two weeks into the tour, she canceled remaining shows due to a bout with depression. She recently released two well received solo albums, "Pussycat" last year and "Juliana Hatfield Sings Olivia Newton-John" this year.
ROG will reissue her solo album "Only Everything," on vinyl since it debuted 23 years ago and make it available in the US for the first time with deluxe packaging.LP 1
