    Fleetwood Mac 1969-1972 (Box Set)

Features Four Complete Albums: Then Play On, Kiln House, Future Games, And Bare Trees

Contains An Exclusive Replica Of The Original 1969 7 Single: "Oh Well - Pt. 1" b/w "Oh Well - Pt. 2."

FLEETWOOD MAC: 1969-1972 is a beautiful vinyl boxed set that collects four of the band's classic albums, each lovingly reproduced on 140-gram vinyl. As a bonus, the set comes with an exclusive replica of the original 1969 7-inch single of "Oh Well - Pt. 1" b/w "Oh Well - Pt. 2."

FLEETWOOD MAC: 1969-1972 features four complete albums - Then Play On (1969), Kiln House (1970), Future Games (1971) and Bare Trees (1972) - housed in a striking black slipcase. To ensure superb sound quality, Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering cut the lacquers for all four albums. The records look as good as they sound thanks to authentically reproduced packages, including gatefolds for Then Play On and Kiln House and single sleeves for Future Games and Bare Trees.

The set follows the band through an early transitional period. With Kiln House, Fleetwood Mac began moving toward a more melodic pop sound on songs like "Mission Bell" and "One Together." At the time, the band included: Jeremy Spencer (guitar, vocals, piano), Kirwan (guitar, vocals), John McVie (bass) and Mick Fleetwood (drums). Christine McVie was at the recording sessions and contributed backing vocals and the album's cover art, but she did not join the band until shortly after the album was finished.

The band's shift toward pop and folk styles continued on Future Games with songs like "Show Me A Smile" and "Morning Rain." This marks the first Fleetwood Mac album with Christine McVie as a full band member as well as the Mac debut of Bob Welch on guitar.

The line-up stayed the same for Bare Trees, which boasts a consistently strong collection of songs like McVie's "Spare Me A Little Of Your Love," Kirwan's "Dust" and Welch's "Sentimental Lady." Although Kirwan was a dominant figure during the recording, penning half of the songs, this would ultimately be his last appearance on a Fleetwood Mac album.

    About Pure Pleasure

At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Pure Pleasure all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.

During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existent tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.

A digital delay is gladly used when cutting a lacquer disc because tape machines with an analogue delay have become quite rare and are therefore expensive. When cutting the lacquer, the audio signal is delayed by one LP revolution against the signal, which controls the cutter head, and for this a digital delay is very often employed. Of course, the resultant sound signal is completely digital and thus only as good as this delay.

We should like to emphasize that Pure Pleasure Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle.

We only employ existing tools for manufacturing if an improved result is not forthcoming, e.g. the title Elvis Is Back, which was mastered by Steve Hoffman and Kevin Gray, or several titles from our Philips Classics series, which in any case Willem Makkee cut from the original masters at the Emil Berliner Studios in the 90s. It goes without saying that we only used the mother and that new tools were made for our production.

To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.

and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.

All-New Original Album of Music Created Exclusively for the Documentary

Deep in the San Fernando Valley, behind the train tracks and amidst dilapidated warehouses, was rock n' roll's best kept secret. Sound City, America's greatest unsung recording studio, housed a legendary, one-of-a-kind recording console, and became the birth place to the seminal albums that defined 20th century music. Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Rick Springfield, Tom Petty, Nirvana, amongst many others, all put magic to tape within these walls. It was rock n' roll hallowed ground. Directed by Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and featuring interviews and performances by the iconic musicians who made their careers in the studio, Sound City tells the story of real rock n' roll history, and celebrates the human element of music, as Grohl gathers some of rock's greatest artists to collaborate on a new album. Using Sound City's legendary analog console, together they continue to create musical miracles in a digital world.

Sound City - Real To Real, the companion album to the documentary is released on Roswell
Records, in conjunction with the film's DVD and Blu-Ray releases. A brand new collection of all-new all-original songs, each song featured on the album was composed and recorded exclusively for the film within its own 24-hour session. The new tracks - featuring an amazing and idiosyncratic cast of collaborators including Paul McCartney, Grohl's former Nirvana and current Foo Fighters bandmates, Stevie Nicks, Rick Springfield, Trent Reznor, Joshua Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Lee Ving of Fear, Corey Taylor of Slipknot, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford of Rage Against The Machine and more--passionately exemplify Sound City's celebration of the human element of musicianship and recording in an increasingly digital world.

    2. Time Slowing Down - Chris Goss, Tim Commerford, Dave Grohl, Brad Wilk

    Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits

    Import

    Remastered

Music On Vinyl re-release the famous 'red sleeve' Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits album. This record was a stalwart of every decent album collection in the early 1970's as it represented the first greatest hits package from Fleetwood Mac, covering the period from the band's beginning in 1968 through to 1971.

Fleetwood Mac in their original incarnation were led by guitarist Peter Green and were leaders of the second British Blues boom of the late 1960s. Fleetwood Mac enjoyed several hit singles in the United Kingdom at that time and these are collated here for this album, originally issued on CBS Records only in the U.K.

'Albatross' was a huge chart hit in the UK whilst the single 'Black Magic Woman' helped to break Fleetwood Mac in the U.S.A via a cover version by Santana, who placed their version in the Billboard Top 40.

The album gatefold shows a full-size photo of the post-Green line up of the band with Christine McVie (nÉe Perfect), even though she just plays piano on a couple tracks and wasn't a full-fledged member until after Kiln House was released.

    Fleetwood Mac (Deluxe Box Set)

5.1 Surround Sound Mix, Unreleased Outtakes, & More!

Fleetwood Mac's 1975 eponymous album will be reissued as a five-disc deluxe box set.

The original album is newly remastered and features on CD and 180 gram vinyl LP in the box set. The CD also includes the original single mixes of Over My Head, Rhiannon, Say You Love Me and Blue Letter.

Like previous sets there's plenty of unreleased outtakes and CD 2 in the deluxe edition features a completely alternate version of the album (none of it ever released before), along with a handful of live tracks and a couple of jam/instrumentals.

The third CD features 14 live tracks (all previously unreleased) while disc four is a DVD which features a 5.1 surround sound mix of Fleetwood Mac, a hi-res stereo version of the album and those four single versions.

Completing the set is the LP version of the original album pressed on 180-gram vinyl. The packaging sounds consistent with what was issued for previous albums (Rumours, Tusk, Mirage and Tango In The Night) since this comes in a 12 x 12 embossed sleeve with in-depth sleeve notes and new interviews with all the band members.

"I, Tonya" is the upcoming biographical film from Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl, The Finest Hours). Starring Margot Robbie and Sebastian Stan, the film follows infamous competitive ice skater Tonya Harding (Robbie) through her formative years as the abused child of a single mother in the '70s to her involvement with Nancy Kerrigan and subsequent media firestorm during the '90s. Part drama, part black comedy, "I, Tonya" is one of the most anticipated films heading into awards season following a successful run on the film festival circuit.

    The Robert Johnson Songbook

Peter Green is widely regarded as one of the finest guitarists of his generation. His virtuoso blues playing was an integral part of the sound of the original Fleetwood Mac, which he founded in 1967, and his tortured lead placed him on a par with legends such as Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page.

In the early '70s, Green left the band and he was to spend much of the next three decades in the wilderness, battling a number of health issues. He re-emerged in the late 1990s performing with the Peter Green Splinter Group, and the second album of his remarkable revival, 'The Robert Johnson Songbook', is one of the greatest classic blues records and was the first British album to win the prestigious WC Handy Award. The music features 16 exquisitely heart-breaking performances of the best Johnson originals, with Green on lead guitar, harmonica and vocals, plus support from Nigel Watson, Roger Cotton, Larry Tolfree, Neil Murray and guest Paul Rodgers.

This edition of Peter Green's 'The Robert Johnson Songbook' will be available as an LP for the first time, pressed on to 180g heavyweight audiophile vinyl in single packaging including a 2-page insert with sleeve notes and new artwork.

    A Hard Road

    Mono Edition

1967s A Hard Road proved to be every bit as powerful and innovative as its predecessor, thanks in large part to Mayalls discovery of Claptons equally brilliant replacement, Peter Green. A one-of-a-kind player with a highly distinctive sound, Green makes his instrumental presence felt throughout A Hard Road, while delivering compelling lead vocals on You Dont Love Me and The Same Way. With sterling support from bassist John McVie and drummer Aynsley Dunbar, the material here features such Mayall originals as Hit the Highway, Leaping Christine and the title track, along with standout interpretations of tunes by Freddie King, Elmore James and Willie Cobbs. The legendarily haunting Green-penned instrumental The Supernatural previews the guitarists groundbreaking work with the original incarnation of Fleetwood Mac, which he and fellow Bluesbreaker John McVie would form a few months later.

The Pious Bird Of Good Omen

Fleetwood Mac is a band with many faces. In contrast to their poppy sound of the 70s, Fleetwood Mac actually started out in the sixties as a psychedelic blues band under guitarist Peter Green's lead. Pious Bird of Good Omen was originally released in 1969 as a compilation of the band's bluesy roots: their first four UK singles and their B-sides and two tracks by bluesman Eddie Boyd with Fleetwood Mac backing. The album's sound is laidback, down & very dirty, featuring scorching cover versions of Little Willie John's Need Your Love So Bad and Robert Johnson's I Believe My Time Ain't Long.

The B-side features the international hit single Albatross and Peter Green's composition Black Magic Woman, the latter being popularized by Santana's version in 1970. This album is a must-have for blues fans. Anyone interested in the roots of Fleetwood Mac might discover they are essentially a totally different band than one might think.

The songs include album tracks like The Chain, Oh Daddy and Songbird as well as World Turning and Rhiannon, two tracks from the group's 1975 eponymous release.

Producers also have compiled a selection of 16 unreleased recordings from the album's sessions including early takes of Go Your Own Way, I Don't Want To Know and the popular B-side Silver Springs. There are also several demo recordings, including one for the outtake Planets of the Universe, plus an instrumental version of Never Going Back Again.

The deluxe edition of Rumours also features three additional pieces. First is an 18-track compilation of session outtakes originally released in the 2004 reissue of the album. Features Newly Remastered Sound, Rare And Unreleased Recordings, And More

In 1982 Fleetwood Mac topped the U.S. Album Chart for five weeks with MIRAGE. Along with instantly recognizable smash hits like "Hold Me" and "Gypsy," MIRAGE also features great album tracks like "Oh Diane," a Top Ten hit in the UK, and "Straight Back," a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Rock Chart.

This new edition expands on the original album with newly remastered sound, a selection of rare and unreleased recordings, as well as the stories and pictures behind the album.

The second disc has 19 tracks dedicated entirely to outtakes and rarities. Among the unreleased gems are early versions of several album tracks - "Empire State" and "Book Of Love" - along with outtakes for songs that didn't make it to the album: "If You Were My Love" and "Smile At You." There is also an unreleased cover of the Fats Domino classic "Blue Monday," as well as the rare, extended mix for "Gypsy" that was used in the music video.

Exclusive to this deluxe edition of MIRAGE is a third disc that has more than a dozen live performances recorded in Los Angeles during Fleetwood Mac's 1982 U.S. tour. Along with early hits - "You Make Loving Fun" and "The Chain" - the collection includes performances of MIRAGE standouts like "Love In Store," "Eyes Of The World" and "Gypsy."

The DVD-Audio disc contains both the 5.1 Surround and 24/96 Stereo Audio mixes of the original album. The set also includes a vinyl copy of MIRAGE.

The Pious Bird Of Good Omen

The Pious Bird of Good Omen (Speakers Corner)

After the break-up of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers in the summer of 1967, the time seemed ripe for Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood to take their leave from raw British rock 'n' roll. The newly established band Fleetwood Mac first turned to black blues, and their art of playing was so similar to that of other groups that the magazine Eye criticised them for their »almost ridiculous mimicry«. However, their choice of performance style took them in the right direction and in 1969, the year in which The Pious Bird Of Good Omen appeared, they landed at the top end of the pop charts, even ahead of The Beatles and Stevie Wonder.

Of course, in the cover version of Little Willie John's Need Your Love So Bad, which is treated with a velvety string sound, and other bluesy songs, the American influence still makes itself heard, but not without success! The highly individual sound of the group comes best through in the now legendary numbers such as the weightless, gliding Albatross and Black Magic Woman with its Latin and blues elements. Judged the best British blues ever to be played (allmusic.com), one can now sit back and enjoy this great album.

    About Speakers Corner

At the beginning of the 90s, in the early days of audiophile vinyl re-releases, the situation was fairly straightforward. Companies such as DCC, Mobile Fidelity, Classic Records and, of course, Speakers Corner all maintained a mutual, unwritten ethical code: we would only use analogue tapes to manufacture records.

During the course of the present vinyl hype, many others have jumped on the bandwagon in the hope of securing a corner of the market. Very often they are not so ethical and use every imaginable source to master from: CDs, LPs, digital files, MP3s - or employed existant tools from the 80s and 90s for manufacturing.

We should like to emphasise that Speakers Corner Records on principle only uses the original master tape as the basis for the entirely analogue cutting of lacquer discs. In addition, the pressing tool is newly manufactured as a matter of principle. We have one digital recording in our catalogue (Alan Parsons / Eye In The Sky"), but even in this particular case we used the analogue tapes for cutting.

To put it in a nutshell: we can ensure you that our releases are free from any kind of digital effects - excluding the exception above - and that the lacquer discs are newly cut.

    Kids Raising Kids

Nashville based indie rock sextet Kopecky Family Band's highly anticipated full length debut Kids Raising Kids is an adventurous, self-released project. It's the culmination of five years progress for the band, both creatively and in terms of the chemistry that makes these six individuals a family. "It's a time capsule of all the experiences we've had since we started playing together" says co-founder Kelsey Kopecky (vocals/keys). Gabe Simon (vocals/guitar), whom Kelsey founded the band with adds that this is the record where Kopecky Family Band has "finally found its voice". The band feel that this record will allow fans to "take home the live experience" they are so widely revered for.

Thee band's first single, "Heartbeat", with its ethereal instrumentation, hand claps and percussive piano exemplifies the laid back, yet progressive nature of Kids Raising Kids. It showcases the lack of fear the band has trying different routes in their pursuit to find the best way to finish a song, taking advantage of their technical prowess while embracing simpler options when the song calls for it.

If pressed to classify the band's sound, Gabe will describe it as a "modern, more aggressive Fleetwood Mac. The thoughtfulness and originality that comes with such an answer can be found throughout Kids Raising Kids. The record works in much the same way as a book, with each song a unique chapter. The tracks all have their own personality and voice, but there is without a doubt still something inherently 'Kopecky Family Band' about each one. Kelsey will tell you the album is about "Discovering Life" and the fact that while we are born basically the same, our paths through life and the people we meet along the way are what make us the individuals we are. This concept is evident on the album, not just lyrically, but in the way each track explores new musical territory.

    Pisces Iscariot

Part of an extensive campaign honoring the legacy of the iconic alternative band, the Smashing Pumpkins' 1994 album Pisces Iscariot returns in a vinyl configuration remastered from the original master tapes specifically for the format.

The Smashing Pumpkins have created one of the most acclaimed bodies of work in musical history, selling more than 30 million albums. The pivotal group's many hits defined the alternative music era and continue to resonate on modern rock radio, influencing a whole new generation.

The Smashing Pumpkins are a big rock band, molded by leader Billy Corgan after stadium and progressive rock giants from the 1970s. As such it's only fitting that after only two albums they would release a collection of B-sides. The result, Pisces Iscariot, is not only a good compendium to their other work, but it's a very good record in its own right. Most of the 14 tracks follow the Pumpkins' blueprint, traveling sonically from soft to loud and back again. Among the slew of originals previously available on singles and imports is a hauntingly beautiful cover of Fleetwood Mac's Landslide.

The Biggest Thing Since Colossus (Pure Pleasure)

During the sixties, there was the British blues boom, containing many blues bands, one of the finest being Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. In January of 1969 Fleetwood Mac were at Chess Studios, Chicago, jamming with the likes of Willie Dixon, S.P.Leary, Honeyboy Edwards, J.T.Brown and longtime Muddy Waters pianist Otis Spann. The end result of those sessions was the classic double album "Blues Jam At Chess".
The rapport between the Mac and Otis Spann was such that they recorded another whole album together, " Colossus".

Otis Spann is his usual emotive and exciting self, feeling totally relaxed alongside his regular drummer, S.P.Leary. This coupled with Peter Green's guitar playing, which is probably at it's peak on these recordings, makes for a blues album of substance.
"The Biggest Thing Since Colossus" is probably one of the most underrated blues albums. Long out of print on vinyl and now re-mastered from the original 1/4-inch tapes this album is a must buy for all.

    Musicians:

    • Otis Spann (vocal, piano)

    • Peter Green (guitar)

    • Danny Kirwen (guitar)

    • John McVie (bass)

    • S. P. Leary (drums)

Recording: January 1969 at Tempo Sound Studios, New York City

    The Wilderness

Features An 8-Panel Gatefold Jacket With O-Card Slipcase

The Wilderness is Explosions In The Sky's sixth album, and first non-soundtrack release since 2011's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care. True to its title, The Wilderness explores the infinite unknown, utilizing several of the band's own definitions of "space (outer space, mental space, physical geography of space) as compositional tools. The band uses their gift for dynamics and texture in new and unique ways-rather than intuitively fill those empty spaces, they shine a light into them to illuminate all the colors of the dark. From the electronic textures of the opening track to the ambient dissolve of closer "Landing Cliffs," The Wilderness is an aggressively modern and forward-thinking work-one that wouldn't seem the slightest bit out of place on a shelf between original pressings of Meddle and Obscured By Clouds. It is an album where shoegaze, electronic experimentation, punk damaged dub, noise, and ambient folk somehow coexist without a hint of contrivance-and cohere into some of the most memorable and listenable moments of the band's expansive body of work-"proper" studio albums and major motion picture soundtracks alike.

The progressive ambience of early Peter Gabriel, the triumphant romanticism of The Cure in their prime, and the more melancholy moments of Fleetwood Mac all inform the curious beauty of The Wilderness. The uncanny ability to reconcile the tension between discordant, nightmarish cacophony and laid-back, Laurel Canyon-inspired folk-rock is a cornerstone of this album, and the center of Explosions In The Sky's remarkable evolution. If The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place was the defining album of Explosions In The Sky's career, The Wilderness is the band's [re]defining album.

    Simple Dreams

Mastered By Doug Sax And Robert Hadley

Plated And Pressed At Quality Record Pressings

Tip-On Gatefold Jacket By Stoughton Printing

One of the most successful albums of Linda Ronstadt's career, Simple Dreams spent five successive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart in late 1977, displacing Fleetwood Mac's Rumours at No. 1 after 29 record-breaking weeks in the pole position. It also knocked Elvis Presley out of No. 1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart after The King held the gridlock for 15 consecutive weeks after his death in August. It won the Grammy Award for Best Recording Package (in addition to several other high profile Grammy nominations).

Simple Dreams was Ronstadt's fifth consecutive million-selling platinum album and sold more than 3½ million copies in less than a year in the United States alone - a record for a female artist. Simply put, Ronstadt just couldn't lose. Simple Dreams continued a creative streak that found the singer turning out album after album of incredible material at an astonishing one-per-year rate until she finally began to come back down to earth in the early 1980s.

Now hear Simple Dreams as never before. Remastered by the late, great Doug Sax at the Mastering Lab, together with Robert Hadley, and pressed on 45 RPM super-silent 200-gram vinyl by Quality Record Pressings, this revered recording truly is a sonic treasure. And it comes in a Stoughton Printing tip-on gatefold jacket with meticulously reproduced original artwork. Stunning.

Featuring an expanded palette of styles and cutting-edge narratives, Simple Dreams may go down in history as Ronstadt's greatest work. Considering the achievements: Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female; Five consecutive weeks as the No. 1 record on the Billboard Album Chart, Two Top 10 singles.

    Zonkey (Awaiting Repress)

Umphrey's McGee has been arranging and performing original mashups live for over eight years. It was only a matter of when, not if, some of those innovative concoctions would find their way into a studio. And that when has arrived.

UM is pleased to announce ZONKEY, an album of 12 unique mashups, conceived, arranged & executed by the band. ZONKEY is as seamless as it bizarre, playful as it is razor sharp. Bits and pieces of classic songs are culled from 40+ years of popular music from 70's Reggae to 80's Pop to 90's Metal and everywhere in between. From Radiohead mashed with Beck, The Weeknd with Fleetwood Mac, Talking Heads with Bob Marley, Metallica with Gorillaz .nothing is off limits.

ZONKEY clearly pays homage to some of our favorite artists & songs. While we've tried to reproduce the spirit of the original compositions & recordings, we've also tried to have some fun with the structure as we've often combined seemingly dissimilar musical elements to create a new vibe altogether," notes keyboardist Joel Cummins.

    Descended Like Vultures

Rogue Wave's 2005 album Descended Like Vultures is now back in print on vinyl! Historians, rock critics and sports announcers have all spent plenty of time waxing poetic about the sophomore slump, but don't waste any time pulling out that reference for Descended Like Vultures, Rogue Wave's second album for Sub Pop. While the album defies expectations as much as it defies the odds, singer/guitarist Zach Rogue knows the score: "That's the whole thing with the title," he admits. "It' like waiting for the other shoe to drop this perception that everyone around you is going to turn their back."

A related adage is that you have your whole life to write your first album and a year to write your second, but Rogue had anything but writer's block after completing Out Of The Shadow and seeing it re-released by Sub Pop in 2004 (the original, limited pressing was released on the band's own label in early 2003). In fact, the group entered the studio at the end of March with more than enough material for a full-length (three albums worth, to be exact).

"I've wanted to record records for years and years, so really, it's like someone opened the door for me to get started," explains Rogue. "I feel like Descended Like Vultures is actually the beginning this is really where we start." Though Rogue assembled the Oakland, CA, quartet which includes fellow multi-instrumentalists Pat Spurgeon (focus: drums), Gram LeBron (guitar) and newest member Evan Farrell (bass) in late 2002, Descended Like Vultures is the first time the band's leader has ever made a record with a whole group in the studio. The band spent 10 days with Bill Racine (who also produced Out Of The Shadow with Rogue) at Supernatural Sound in Oregon City, OR, resulting in the creation of 11 tracks that journey through a dreamy landscape inspired by several decades of classic rock and pop (from Fleetwood Mac to Neil Young to My Bloody Valentine.)

The Mark Kozelek-esque "California" and the XTC-flavored "Catform," which sports Rogue's most dazzling vocal performance to date both feature cold yet inspired examinations of human nature informed by Rogue's experiences on the road. For the first time as an entire unit, Rogue Wave went out of its way to create a free-flowing album that includes equal amounts of tension, release and resolution. In the process they have made a brilliantly layered, expertly crafted album that changes shape with repeated spins.

    Blonder And Blonder

On Vinyl For The First Time In Decades

First Pressing On Baby Blue Vinyl, Black Vinyl Thereafter

Packaging Contains Essays & Commentary From The Entire Band

The Muffs' debut hit the scene in 1993, and was an instant smash. Any fear that
they could follow it up successfully was answered when Blonder And Blonder
    arrived two years later.

Now a three piece, The Muffs again teamed up with producer Rob Cavallo
(Green Day, Paramore, Fleetwood Mac) and delivered 14 even better Kim Shattuck
penned powerhouses, including the hit single "Sad Tomorrow." Bassist Ronnie
Barnett and new drummer Roy McDonald propelled Shattuck's material to even
greater heights, and Blonder became the band's biggest selling album.

Omnivore Recordings is proud to present this '90s milestone on LP for the first time in over two decades (first pressing on baby blue vinyl,
    with black to follow.)

Like 2015's reissue of The Muffs, the full-color packaging includes photos,
drawings, memorabilia, and essays from Barnett and McDonald, as well as,
    track-by-track commentary from Shattuck.

21 years later, Blonder And Blonder still sounds as vital and visceral as it did upon
its original release. Face it, you're dye-ing to have this record in your collection.

    Stonedhenge

A Premium RTI Pressing, From The Original U.K. Mono Masters

Ten Years After's eponymous debut hit the door with a loud thud. Undead cracked it. And with 1969's Stonedhenge, they knocked it down with authority, stormed the palace and showed the world that they were indeed a major act. Stonedhenge was where Ten Years After really came into their own with originals. "Hear Me Calling" is brilliant modern blues on par with the best of early Fleetwood Mac, rising from a restrained beginning to all-out rocking before repeating the cycle one last time. "Going to Try" explores similar territory, even venturing into a Middle-Eastern inspired section underscored by randomized percussion overdubs and Chick Churchill's psychedelic organ. "Woman Trouble" is stirring jazzy blues, and on "No Title," the band really cuts loose - kicking off with a standard blues lament before unleashing a series of solos that are almost songs unto themselves: Alvin Lee's power-chord solo making way for Churchill's spooky organ making way for a badass jam between drummer Ric Lee and bassist Leo Lyons. The band was running like a freight train - and in fact, train noises grace the beginning of album finale "Speed Kills," a bluesy boogie that pushes the meter straight into the red before the thrill-ride literally comes to a screeching halt. But not before the album fully displays the band's world-class musicianship and songwriting, which made Stonedhenge a hit in the UK and gave Ten Years After their first-ever Billboard Top 100 entry, at a respectable #61 in April 1969. In turn, it paved the way for the band's acclaimed performance at Woodstock, which ensured regular placement on the album charts for years to come.

For now, dig the first vinyl reissue of the ultra-rare mono mix of Stonedhenge, housed in its original gatefold cover artwork and meticulously mastered for the most discerning listener.

Now Sundazed proudly presents the searing guitar of Alvin Lee & Chick Churchill's haunting organ textures as they were meant to be heard, from the original U.K. MONO masters and pressed on premium RTI vinyl!
