    Live

Thirty years ago this lineup stormed across the U.S. like a Blizzard, leaving audiences in complete awe! This live LP showcases the power and intensity of an Ozzy Osbourne performance from 1981, with legendary guitarist Randy Rhoads at his side and the solid rhythm section of Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Rudy Sarzo (bass).

Though many bands have succeeded in earning the hatred of parents and media worldwide throughout the past few decades, arguably only such acts as Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, and Marilyn Manson have tied the controversial record of Ozzy Osbourne.

The former Black Sabbath frontman has been ridiculed over his career, mostly due to rumors denouncing him as a psychopath and Satanist. Despite his outlandish reputation, however, one cannot deny that Osbourne has had an immeasurable effect on heavy metal.

Alice in Chains, one of the darkest bands to emerge from Seattle in the early 90's. Their 1992 album 'Dirt' was a milestone in the grunge-genre. Tuned down guitars with massive gloomy vocals courtesy of guitarist Jerry Cantrell and enigmatic vocalist Layne Staley proved a killer combination.

'Dirt' is one of those masterpieces that wasn't meant to be, as it was written while the band was on tour only to let their demons out.

After extensive tours with Ozzy Osbourne and Van Halen the album ended in the top 10 of Billboard. The album closes with the superb grunge anthem Would? which was also featured in the movie Singles

Unfortunately singer Layne Staley died of a drug overdose in 2002 which ended the band abruptly.

Alice in Chains returned to the forefront with a new album and singer in 2009. At the same time we offer the original and groundbreaking sound of Alice in Chains's Dirt on 180 grams audiophile vinyl.

    Never Say Die!

Never Say Die! is the eighth studio album by British heavy metal band Black Sabbath, released in September 1978. It was the final Black Sabbath studio album to feature vocalist Ozzy Osbourne prior to his departure from the band in 1979.

At the time of the recording of Never Say Die! the members of Black Sabbath were all heavily involved in drug and alcohol abuse. Prior to the recording of the album, vocalist Osbourne quit the band and was briefly replaced by former Savoy Brown and Fleetwood Mac vocalist Dave Walker. Some songs were written with Walker, and the new group even performed an early version of Junior's Eyes with different lyrics on the BBC programme, Look Hear. Osbourne eventually rejoined the band, refusing to sing any of the songs written with Walker. These particular songs were rewritten, including Junior's Eyes, rewritten to be about the then-recent death of Osbourne's father.

We had a few internal problems, Osbourne admitted to Sounds. My father was dying, so that put us out for over three months with the funeral and everything. I left the band for three months before we got back together to record it.
The album was recorded at Sounds Interchange Studios in Toronto. We went to Toronto to record it, and that's when the problems started said Tony Iommi. Why Toronto? Because of the tax, really. The studio was booked through brochures because people thought it might be a good one. We got there and it had a dead sound - totally wrong. We couldn't get a real live sound. So what we had to do was rip the carpet up and try to make it as live as we could. They were okay about it, but it took time to get it exactly right. There were no other studios available. Closing track Swinging The Chain features lead vocals from drummer Bill Ward, necessitated by Osbourne's frequent absences from the studio and inability to perform due to substance abuse.

It's a combination of what we've all been through in the last ten years, said Osbourne. It's a very varied album. Like, we started out playing in blues clubs, because British blues - like John Mayall and early Fleetwood Mac - was the thing at the time. We were into a twelve-bar trip and early Ten Years After-style stuff. So it's part of that sort of trip. Then there's the heavy thing and the rock thing. It's not just steamhammer headbanging stuff all the way through We got rid of all our inner frustrations: what each of us individually wanted to put down over the years but couldn't because of the pressures of work. So we put a lot of painstaking hours into developing this album.

    Blood For Blood

Hellyeah's fourth studio album, Blood for Blood, will be released via Eleven Seven Music.

The album was helmed by producer Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment) at his the Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the cover artwork for Blood for Blood, Hellyeah vocalist Chad Gray collaborated with renowned tattoo artist Paul Booth, who has been tattooing for over twenty years, and in that time he has worked on many celebrities and rock bands, including Slayer, Slipknot, Sepultura, Soulfly and Lamb of God.

The last project that Chad and I worked on together was the Mudvayne blacklight design, says Paul. I had such a great time working on that art, when Chad called on me to design Hellyeah's 'Blood for Blood,' I jumped right into it as I knew it, too, would likely be a fun one. Chad always gives me the freedom to explore and interpret his ideas. It always makes for great collaboration. I look forward to seeing it all in print!

It's a defining record for Hellyeah and for anyone on the fence, the band founding drummer Vinnie Paul declared, describing the record as focused and with a clear direction.

Limited Edition Picture Disc LP Version

Judging from their name, Suicidal Tendencies were never afraid of a little controversy. Formed in Venice, CA, during the early '80s, the group's leader from the beginning was outspoken vocalist Mike Muir. The outfit specialized in vicious hardcore early on -- building a huge following among skateboarders, lending a major hand in the creation of skatepunk -- before turning their focus eventually to thrash metal. Early on, the group (whose original lineup included Muir, guitarist Grant Estes, bassist Louiche Mayorga, and drummer Amery Smith) found it increasingly difficult to book shows, due to rumors of its members' affiliation with local gangs and consistent violence at their performances. The underground buzz regarding Suicidal Tendencies grew too loud for labels to ignore though, as the quartet signed on with the indie label Frontier; issuing Muir and company's classic self-titled debut in 1983. The album quickly became the best-selling hardcore album up to that point; its best-known track, Institutionalized, was one of the first hardcore punk videos to receive substantial airplay on MTV, and was eventually used in the Emilio Estevez cult classic movie Repo Man, as well as in an episode for the hit TV show Miami Vice (for which the group made a cameo appearance).

Suicidal Tendencies proved influential for future speed/thrash metal bands, but despite its early success, the quartet's reputation preceded them, as no other record label was willing to take them on (in addition, Los Angeles banned the group from playing around this time, lasting until the early '90s). Not much was heard from the group for several years afterward (leading many to believe that Suicidal had broken up), but Muir and company eventually found a home with Caroline Records. By this time, half of the original lineup had left; Muir and Mayorga were the only holdovers, while guitarist Rocky George and drummer R.J. Herrera rounded out the group. 1987 saw the release of Suicidal's sophomore release, Join the Army, which spawned another popular skatepunk anthem, Possessed to Skate, as more and more metal heads began to be spotted in Suicidal's audience. Soon after, Suicidal was finally offered a major-label contract (with Epic), as another lineup change occurred: Mayorga exited the band, while newcomer Bob Heathcote took his spot; and a second guitarist, Mike Clark, was added as well. This Suicidal lineup's first album together, 1988's How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today, showed that their transformation from hardcore to heavy metal was now complete, as did a compilation of two earlier EPs, 1989's Controlled by Hatred/Feel Like Shit...DÉjà Vu.

Suicidal's first release of the new decade, 1990's Lights, Camera, Revolution, was another success; its video for the explosive You Can't Bring Me Down received repeated airings on MTV's Headbanger's Ball program, while the album (in addition to the Controlled by Hatred comp) would be certified gold in the U.S. a few years later. The release also signaled the arrival of new bassist Robert Trujillo, whose penchant for funk added a new element to the group's sound. The group tried to broaden their audience even further by opening a string of arena shows for prog-metallists Queensrÿche during the summer of 1991. Their next release, 1992's The Art of Rebellion, proved to be one of Suicidal's most musically experimental albums of their career. Muir and Trujillo also teamed up around this time for a funk metal side project, Infectious Grooves (including several other participants, such as Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins) and issued a debut release, The Plague That Makes Your Booty Move. Upset that the group's classic debut had been out of print for several years by this point, Muir decided to re-record the entire record with Suicidal's '90s lineup under the title of Still Cyco After All These Years.

But after one more release, 1994's Suicidal for Life, Suicidal Tendencies decided to hang it up. A pair of compilations were issued in 1997: a best-of set, Prime Cuts, plus Friends & Family. Muir and Trujillo continued to issue further Infectious Grooves releases (Sarsippius' Ark and Groove Family Cyco), in addition to Muir pursuing a solo career under the alias of Cyco Miko (Lost My Brain Once Again) and Trujillo touring and recording as part of Ozzy Osbourne's solo band (appearing on Osbourne's 2001 release, Down to Earth). Muir formed a new version of Suicidal Tendencies in the late '90s (with Clark being the only other familiar face), resulting in such further studio releases as 1999's Freedumb and 2000's Free Your Soul and Save My Mind. Muir and Trujillo joined forces once more for a fourth Infectious Grooves studio release in 2000, Mas Borracho; while another Cyco Miko release surfaced, Schizophrenic Born Again Problem Child, along with a follow-up up to their earlier compilation, Friends & Family, Vol. 2. After releasing the compilation 'Year Of The Cycos' in 2009 that included a selection of all brand new songs from Suicidal Tendencies and side bands Infectious Grooves, NoMercyFool and Cyco Miko, the band released in 2010 the first record in 10 years 'No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family' that included re-recordings of classic jems off the 'Join The Army records' and infamous recording 'Widespread Bloodshed' for Mike Muir and Mike Clark side band No Mercy back in early eighties.

Black Sabbath's new studio album, one of the most anticipated metal releases of the year, already has a title. It will be called 13, so it is only fitting that the heavy metal band announced it today, on January 13th. We know now that it will be released this June (the exact date will be revealed later). The band also revealed what everyone wanted to know: who was the drummer that joined the recording sessions for the new album.

The original Black Sabbath line-up, Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass), recorded the album primarily in Los Angeles and were joined at the sessions by drummer Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine fame.

13 was produced by Rick Rubin and the album will be released on Vertigo (worldwide) and Vertigo/Republic in the US. The new studio album also marks the band's return to Vertigo, their original label, apart from being the group's first studio album together since 1978s Never Say Die.

A Place Where There's No More Pain

Life Of Agony emerged from the New York music scene in the early ‚90s with one of the most distinctive
sounds in its genre. Best known for its 1993 metal/crossover debut River Runs Red, the band instantly
built a die-hard, cult following. For over two decades, the group toured relentlessly all over the world,
sharing stages with the biggest names in rock, including Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo
Fighters, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. After the much-praised Ugly (1995), LOA opted for a highly
energetic alternative rock approach on Soul Searching Sun (1997) and Broken Valley (2005) - the latter
produced by Greg Fidelman (Slipknot, Metallica). Life of Agony has sold over one million albums to date.
In 2016, LOA signed a deal with Napalm Records to record the group's 5th studio album, titled A Place
Where There's No More Pain. Rolling Stone hailed it as „One of the Most Anticipated Albums of the Year".
The album is produced by Matt Brown & Life Of Agony and mastered by Ted Jensen (Alice in Chains,
Machine Head, Deftones). The drive and intensity these ten blistering new tracks possess, surpass all
expectations that built up in the past 12 years - a cathartic Sturm & Drang experience for the listener that
matches the ferocity of River Runs Red with gut wrenching rock melodies. Raging guitar riffs, heartfelt
lyrics and killer grooves mark the return of LOA's signature sound and turn A Place Where There's No
More Pain into a passionate, soul-searching affair.

The highly emotional lyrics by singer Mina Caputo link all songs by the four-piece together, then and
now: born as Keith Caputo, she had her Transgender coming out in 2011, changed her name, but kept
her inimitable style of writing deeply from the heart. „And I just want to disappear and hide," she sings
and shines a light on the path of all lost souls - while steadily walking her own. „Many of our fans have
told us over the years that sharing our personal struggles has been cathartic for them in healing the pain
in their own lives. That uplifting energy we share at the shows, gives us hope that there's light at the end
of the tunnel. And for us and hopefully our fans, that short time when we're all together is a place where
    there's no more pain."

Jerry Cantrell is an American musician who is best known as the lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist and main songwriter for the rock band Alice in Chains. He also has a solo career and released the albums Boggy Depot in 1998 and Degradation Trip in 2002.

Cantrell noted in an interview that he was raised on country music as a youth and that he admires the emotion conveyed in the genre. However, hard rock music caught his interest predominantly, and he bought his first guitar in his mid-teens. It would not be until the age of 17 that he began seriously playing the instrument. Cantrell would later cite guitarists such as Ace Frehley, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Jimmy Page, and Eddie Van Halen as major influences. Cantrell's career outside Alice in Chains has not only consisted of two solo albums, but also many appearances with other musicians and on film soundtracks.

Degradation Trip is the second and to date, final solo album by Jerry Cantrell, originally released in 2002. On the album, Cantrell enlisted drummer Mike Bordin (Faith No More) and bassist Robert Trujillo (Suicidal Tendencies, Ozzy Osbourne). The album was dedicated to Alice in Chains lead singer Layne Staley, who died two months before the album's release. Degradation Trip featured two singles and was well received by critics, faring better than Cantrell's solo debut and bearing strong resemblance to his work in Alice in Chains.

A hallmark of Cantrell's style, many unorthodox rhythms and time signatures are exhibited throughout the album as well as heavy use of wah-wah guitar effect and choir-like vocal harmonies.

The album's grungy heaviness is balanced, however, by moody acoustic ballads such as the somber Angel Eyes. Serene, tangy guitar riffs featured in the likes of Gone elude more to Cantrell's Southern roots.

    The Black Sabbath Covers

When Jason Molina took on another artist's song, he willed his own universe into it, his own
personal and artistic mythology. Be it Conway Twitty or Townes Van Zandt, their blues were
infused with Molina's own entrancing blues. This pair of newly discovered, home-recorded
Black Sabbath covers is no different. Molina, a through-and-through fan of metal (seek out his
high school metal band the Spineriders' album if you haven't yet) peels back the sinister and
stoned elements of Sabbath, zeroing in on the loneliness and brooding.

    He takes "Solitude,"
from 1971's unfuckwithable Master of Reality - and one of Sabbath's more mystical, near-proggy
songs - and doubles down on the title. Molina extracts Ozzy Osbourne's gorgeously
cooed vocal performance and transforms it into a high and lonesome sound, a desert campfire
howler. And on his cover of "Snowblind, from 1972's Vol. 4, it becomes obvious what a guitar
hero Sabbath's Tony Iommi was for Molina. Molina seemed to pull from Iommi's odd, simple
fingerings and tunings throughout his catalogue: from his first album (known informally as "the
black album") to Magnolia Electric Co.'s Josephine. Molina's brief acoustic cover dials back the
bombast, but you can surely connect "Snowblind"'s chord progressions with Molina's own on
the black album and Axxess & Ace.

Recorded in the midwest in the late '90s, during Molina's
multi-season run of batting 1.000, these two intimate songs are a bittersweet artifact of one of
    the Rust Belt's titan songwriters.

Note: Do not attempt to play Side B of this 7" release. Side B is a gorgeous etching of a
black ram by artist Will Schaff. If you do attempt to play the etching on Side B it will sound
    absolutely awful.

    Savages (Discontinued)

Max Cavalera is the walking embodiment of creative energy, of all of the diverse layers of urgency that are possible from that select few whose artistic output defines genres. Mystic shaman, protest singer, revolutionary hero, everyday metalhead, furious consumer of heavy music of all shades, husband, father, leader, songwriter Cavalera reigns as the adoptive tribal chief of a generation of fans, stretching from the roughest slums of South America to the coldest confines of Russia. Anywhere that people are disenfranchised, the songs of SOULFLY serve as their anthems.

Armed with Cavalera's four-stringed guitars, unmistakable growl and instantly recognizable riffage, the muddy tones and constant rhythmic bounce of SOULFLY has retained its gritty edge while pushing the boundaries of what's possible in metal. »Savages« represents a career-defining moment, solidifying the lineup with longtime lead guitarist Marc Rizzo (who has been in SOULFLY almost as long as Max was in SEPULTURA), bassist Tony Campos (Static X, Ministry, Prong) and Max's 21 year-old Zyon, who splits his time between drumming in LODY KONG and now SOULFLY.

"All of the things that make SOULFLY killer are combined in Savages," Max declares.

»Savages« melds the most brutal, the heaviest and overall the most vibrant components that made up each record in SOULFLY's diverse catalog. By Max's own account, »Savages« is possessed of the tribal groove of the first two SOULFLY albums, particularly in songs like 'Bloodshed', 'Ayatollah of Rock 'N' Rolla' and 'Master of Savagery'. But there's also the thrash metal that was found on DARK AGES and OMEN; whereas the CAVALERA CONSPIRACY records contain short, punky bursts, the new SOULFLY record gets into the epic length territory of early METALLICA. The death metal vibe of SOULFLY's »Enslaved« emerges in songs like 'Fallen' and 'Cannibal Holocaust'.

"I really like the name »Savages«. I like single words that sound powerful, like 'Primitive', 'Roots', 'Arise'," Max explains. "It's about the human condition right now. We have the Internet and we're working on missions to Mars, but we are still decapitating each other and blowing up marathons. We're still savages. Even with technology and how far we've come in the world, our spirit is still that of a savage."

A trailblazing pioneer and musician with millions of albums sold who nevertheless retains boundless street cred due to his grimy, raw and undeniable authenticity; Max Cavalera is one of the most prolific artists the realm of heavy music has ever known. There's CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, which reunited Max with his brother and former bandmate, Igor Cavalera. There was the brutal attack of NAILBOMB, Max's collaboration with Alex Newport from FUDGE TUNNEL, which included members of DEAD KENNEDYS, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, BIOHAZARD and NEUROSIS on-stage. There's his forthcoming band with members of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, MASTODON and THE MARS VOLTA. Of course, there's Max's unassailable work as SEPULTURA's founder, leading the Brazilian band from their badass lo-fi beginnings, through their era of sophisticated thrash classics, up through the cultural landmark that is 'Roots'.

SOULFLY began almost instantaneously after his departure from the band he founded. The eponymously titled debut »Soulfly« sold over 500,000 copies in the United States alone, further expanding upon the tribal foundation of 'Roots' with percussive instrumentation, forays into esoteric sounds and multiple guest performers. Across the seven albums and never-ending tours that followed, Max worked with a who's-who of the heavy music scene as band mates, guest musicians and touring members, including guys from SLIPKNOT, SLAYER, MEGADETH, DEFTONES, RADIOHEAD, STONE SOUR, CYPRESS HILL, MACHINE HEAD, DEVILDRIVER, FEAR FACTORY, MORBID ANGEL, THROWDOWN, S.O.D., SKINDRED, BORKNAGAR, WILL HAVEN and CATTLE DECAPITATION, among others.

In addition to Max's own self-production, a number of important producers have lent their skills to SOULFLY, including »Roots« producer Ross Robinson (KORN, AT THE DRIVE-IN), Toby Wright (Ozzy Osbourne, SLAYER), Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE), ex-SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader (FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, GORJIA) and Zeuss (HATEBREED, SUICIDE SILENCE) and Terry Date (PANTERA, DEFTONES).

Cavalera asked Date, who had mixed for SOULFLY in the past, to produce the new album. Once studio time with the legendary producer was on the calendar, Max kicked into high gear with the material. Max and Zyon worked on the songs that would comprise »Savages« at home. "Zyon came up to me and said, 'Give me a shot. I'll play on the record for you. I won't let you down," explains the elder Cavalera. "I went into a room with him to jam and it felt great. So I said, 'Fuck yeah, let's do it!"

Generally on a SOULFLY album, the drummers would learn the songs in the studio, based on demo recordings from Max. This time, Max had the luxury of working out the songs at home with Zyon. "We jammed every single day for a month. He knew 90% of the material already when we got into the studio. It reminded me of recording the old Sepultura stuff, like Arise and Chaos A.D., Igor knew exactly what he was going to do before we went into the studio. This was very similar."

Cavalera says he must've written at least 1,000 riffs specifically for »Savages«. "The killer riff is what hooks the whole song together," he says. "For me the writing process is about finding the most killer riffs possible. It's a battle; sometimes I struggle with the guitar for hours. You have to throw it down on the floor and take a break. Come back a few hours later. 'Let's try this again, motherfucker!' Grab it again and go to battle, go to war with the guitar until you get the right riffs."

Max points to BLACK SABBATH's 'Symptom of the Universe' as one of the penultimate riffs of all time, citing SABBATH's Tony Iommi and METALLICA frontman James Hetfield as among the riff-masters he most admires. "I think of riff making as an art-form. I take it really seriously. I think it deserves more attention. It has such value."

Speaking of riffs, Rizzo came into the band a decade ago and his love of thrash metal, death metal and collaborative spirit has energized Max ever since. "When Marc entered Soulfly, it was a drastic change. He's the guitar player I've been looking for my whole life. Andreas [Kisser] and I really clicked when we worked together. I never had that again after that. We had other guys that were cool, but it was never 100% there. When Marc came in, I found it! We've developed a great bond since." Rizzo particularly shines on the opening track on Savages, 'Bloodshed.' "There's stuff all over the song - clean guitars, feedback - he just makes the song better."

Campos has a lengthy resume in the world of metal and Max says they bonded over their shared Latino heritage, among other things. "I had this idea about this guy Vargas, a Venezuelan cannibal, they call him 'El Comegente.' He's the Hannibal Lecter of the Andes. We both read about it. Tony sings some of it in Spanish and I sing in Portuguese. He's a great bass player too, fucking amazing. Killer bass tones, distortion, all balls-out metal. He keeps this shit real heavy, great tone. It's great recording with guys who know what they're doing. I don't have to ask if they know."

Max acknowledges the inherent risk in putting a 21 year-old behind the kit for such an important record, but it was a risk he absolutely wanted to take. "To have my son drumming on the album, that's killer. I like risks. I like to start shit up and see what happens. Even if I fail, at least I knew I tried. Rather than knowing I didn't try at all. To me, that's the bigger failure. It took a little bit of courage to put my son on it. I came to the studio and told Terry there was a young drummer who doesn't play to a click. Terry knew what to do and Zyon did great. The drums sound amazing."

Like all things Max Cavalera, does SOULFLY's »Savages is a family affair. Not only does it mark Zyon's recorded debut with the band, but one of Max's other kids throws down some vocals in the opening track, 'Bloodshed'. "My son Igor has a killer punk rock voice that reminds me of the old CORROSION OF CONFORMITY days," Max says. "The chorus has this old punk style riff, almost like a MISFITS type riff. His voice is killer."

Like every SOULFLY album, »Savages« contains an impressive guest list comprised of veterans and up-and-comers. CLUTCH's Neil Fallon turns up on 'Ayatollah of Rock 'N' Rolla', the title of which was inspired by Mel Gibson's classic Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior movie. Jamie Hanks from I DECLARE WAR brought his high and low deathcore vocals to 'Fallen', a death metal oriented song Max says is in the vein of CANNIBAL CORPSE.

Mitch Harris from NAPALM DEATH contributed vocals to 'K.C.S.' Harris has been around the Cavaleras long enough that there are videos of him changing Zyon's diapers when SOULFLY's new drummer was just one month old. "Mitch came to the studio just to hang out during a day off from tour," Max explains. "I'm like, 'You ready to sing some shit on this record?' I put him on the spot. He's like, 'Right now?' I said, 'Fuck yeah, let's do it!' There was one point where we were recording together where he did a scream and I saw his eyeball popping out of his face like a cartoon. I was like, 'Dude that was the most metal thing I've seen in a long time.'"

Even as Max continues to consume new music from band like NINE INCH NAILS, MAN MUST DIE, TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED and I DECLARE WAR, even as he revisits seminal material from METALLICA, SLAYER, C.O.C. and the like, and indulges his penchant for world music, and gets his hands in his other projects and collaborations, it all adds up to a singular, distinct, straightforward and riff-heavy machine known as SOULFLY.

In the two decades since Ozzy Osbourne hired him away from his job at a New Jersey gas station to become his new guitarist, Zakk Wylde has established himself as a guitar icon known and revered the world over. Writing and recording with Osbourne led to multi-platinum success, inspiring him to create the now legendary Black Label Society in 1998. In the decade plus since, BLS has turned the notion of what a rock band should be upside down by inspiring legions of fans (known as Berserkers) all over the world to follow the mantra: Strength, Determination, Merciless, Forever (SDMF for short). Wylde and his Berserkers have established a heavy metal institution true to the vision of uncompromising, unfiltered and unrestrained rock 'n' roll.

SKELETONWITCH are "a band that makes metal so brilliant, vital and special" (Metal Hammer). Relinquishing genre-boundaries with their mixture of blackened thrash, death and heavy metal, the band are a force to be reckoned with as they have incessantly spent the past ten years touring across the world while simultaneously releasing the most zealous, catchy riffs and precisely pummeling rhythms across five full-length releases with Prosthetic Records, including their most recent 2013 effort "Serpents Unleashed", which saw the band land at their highest chart position, #62 of Billboard's Top 200.

SKELETONWITCH have cemented the group's reputation as one of metal's most important acts landing themselves on high visibility tours with the likes of Danzig, Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth, Ghost B.C., and The Black Dahlia Murder and extensive headlining jaunts, including a 63 shows in 65 days run.

The band present a reenergized power with the new year as they announce new vocalist Adam Clemans (Wolvhammer) to the current line-up consisting of Evan Linger (bass), Dustin Boltjes (drums) and founding members Scott Hedrick and Nate Garnette on guitars. SKELETONWITCH debuted the first new material from their recording session at Baltimore, MD's Developing Nations with Kevin Bernsten (Noisem, Mutilation Rites) with the 7 single "Well of Despair" which they debuted live while being featured on this year's Decibel Magazine tour alongside Abbath, High on Fire and Tribulation. The single will be featured on their forthcoming EP, "The Apothic Gloom".

Scheduled for release via Prosthetic, "The Apothic Gloom" showcases four tracks spanning just under 20 minutes of what Noisey hails as a "cold blast of icy, melodic black metal" with "plenty of shredding". #WorshipTheWitch

    After The War

After the War is the eighth studio album by Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released in 1989.

Much like Moore's previous album Wild Frontier, After the War contains elements of Celtic music. The instrumental Dunluce is named after Dunluce Castle in Northern Ireland.

The track Led Clones features Ozzy Osbourne sharing lead vocals with Moore. The song pokes fun at bands such as Kingdom Come, who were quite popular at the time and were based on a Led Zeppelin type sound and image; it also appeared on a compilation album. Moore again pays tribute to the memory of his long-time friend and colleague Phil Lynott with the song Blood of Emeralds.

After the War would be Moore's last foray into conventional hard rock, and his last rock album of any kind until Dark Days in Paradise, released in 1997; starting with his next album, Still Got the Blues, he would primarily switch to playing blues.

You need neither an instruction manual nor a university education to love the Dead Daisies' music. Their songs unerringly hit their listeners' autonomic nervous system, immediately take root in their hearts and souls and force them to move along to the rhythm. "There are lots of very good reasons why this kind of rock 'n roll has never gone out of fashion," band members David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), John Corabi (Mötley CrÜe, Ratt), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) agree. „Our songs are simply timeless, immortal, classic! That's why working with The Dead Daisies is so much fun, and that's why the reaction is always phenomenal, no matter when and where this band turns up."
