Newly Remastered From The Original Analogue Tapes

    3x 180 Gram Black 12 Vinyl Records

Contains The Original Twelve Track Album, Three Unreleased Tracks, & Eight B-Sides

    Housed In A Triple-Sleeve Gatefold

Rescued from defunct formats, prized from dark cupboards and brought to light after two decades in cold storage OKNOTOK will be issued on XL Recordings, coinciding (roughly) with the original 1997 release date(s) of Radiohead's landmark third album OK COMPUTER.

OKNOTOK features the original OK COMPUTER twelve track album, eight B-sides, and the Radiohead completist's dream: "I Promise," "Lift," and "Man Of War." The original studio recordings of these three previously unreleased and long sought after OK COMPUTER era tracks finally receive their first official issue on OKNOTOK.

All material on OKNOTOK is newly remastered from the original analogue tapes.

OK COMPUTER was originally released on various dates ranging from May to July 1997. Produced by the band and Nigel Godrich, the album is widely cited as one of the greatest works of Radiohead's or any artist's catalogue and was the first Radiohead record to reach #1 in the UK and to be nominated for the Album of the Year GRAMMY. The album features singles "Paranoid Android," "Karma Police," "Lucky" and "No Surprises." In 2015, The National Recording Registry selected OK COMPUTER to be preserved in the Library of Congress as a recording that has proven "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

    Pablo Honey

Radiohead's debut album, Pablo Honey, is a promising collection that blends anthemic rock with long, atmospheric instrumental passages and an enthralling triple-guitar attack. Although it is undoubtedly less slick and accomplished than their subsequent work, Thom Yorke's vulnerable but impressive vocal styling was already in place on songs such as Stop Whispering Anyone Can Play Guitar and the surprise hit Creep. In terms of musical maturity, Radiohead were clearly years ahead of their time even at these early stages.

    The Bends

Ranked 110/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Pablo Honey in no way was adequate preparation for its epic, sprawling follow-up, The Bends. Building from the sweeping, three-guitar attack that punctuated the best moments of Pablo Honey, Radiohead create a grand and forceful sound that nevertheless resonates with anguish and despair -- it's cerebral anthemic rock. Occasionally, the album displays its influences, whether it's U2, Pink Floyd, R.E.M., or the Pixies, but Radiohead turn clichÉs inside out, making each song sound bracingly fresh. Thom Yorke's tortured lyrics give the album a melancholy undercurrent, as does the surging, textured music. But what makes The Bends so remarkable is that it marries such ambitious, and often challenging, instrumental soundscapes to songs that are at their cores hauntingly melodic and accessible. It makes the record compelling upon first listen, but it reveals new details with each listen, and soon it becomes apparent that with The Bends, Radiohead have reinvented anthemic rock.

    In Rainbows

On the deliriously satisfying In Rainbows, Radiohead returns to a more straight-ahead (though subdued) rock sound. Much hubbub has been made about this record's innovative release. Radiohead allowed fans to pay what they wished to download fairly low-resolution tracks from the band's own website. Like so many innovations, it already seems funny both that it was such big news and that someone else of similar stature hadn't done it sooner. Some pundits were appalled that it took awhile to download the tracks if you tried to do it at the same time as thousands of other people, while others decried that the group was trying to kill the music industry (or save it).

Little of the press seemed to focus on the record itself, which actually made sense because it was so entertaining and inviting, the most low-key album Radiohead has made to date. There's even a very straight-forward, simple, silly little love song, House of Cards. It might be a bit lethargic, but the simple instrumentation of electric guitars, bass, and drums is lovely as heck. A handful of these tunes enchanted fans for years before finally being committed to computer tape. This is particularly fitting as In Rainbows is the group's most band-sounding album since OK Computer. This is not a record that hits you over the head with how far this group is pushing the envelope; it's simply a phenomenal, well-crafted, and exciting album. As soon as it's done, you're playing it again. --Mike McGonigal

With the near impossible task of following up their critically acclaimed masterpiece OK Computer, Radiohead took another bold leap with Kid A, an experimental album built largely around the union of electronica and mood. Hail To The Thief

    45 RPM

Radiohead's 2003 release Hail To The Thief borrows equally from OK Computer's epic progressive rock and Kid A's skittering electronic theatrics while using eloquent metaphors and complicated arrangements to express the uncertainty, fear and anger arising from the 2000 U.S. presidential election and a post-9/11 world. The occasional hard-grooving funk rhythm and crazed rock guitar riff keeps even the airiest sentiments well anchored though, making Hail To The Thief as well balanced as it is progressive.

    Amnesiac

Although it's more song-driven and acoustic than Kid A, Radiohead's Amnesiac was hulled from the same sessions and it marked the first time in the band's career that a new record didn't bring about a complete shift in artistic priorities. It's nevertheless another brilliant offering from the most musically innovative band in modern music and another fine example of the fact that they're comfortably in a league all their own.

    The King Of Limbs

Radiohead's highly anticipated eighth album, The King Of Limbs follows-up the artistic provocateurs' 7-time Grammy nominated 2007 release In Rainbows. The eight song collection was produced by longtime collaborator, Nigel Godrich and is arguably the most groove-oriented set of Radiohead's restless career.

King Of Limbs was named in honor of one of Great Britain's oldest trees. Nicknamed 'Big Belly Oak' and located in the 4,000-acre Savernake Forest in Wiltshire, England, the tree is estimated to be around 1,000 years old and has a girth of over 36 feet. The album was recorded in a country home less than three miles from Big Belly.

    Who's Feeling Young Now?

Punch Brothers release their new album, Whos Feeling Young Now?, on vinyl March 20. Completed over three weeks at Blackbird Studios in Nashville, the record was produced by Grammy Award winner Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits, Modest Mouse). Whos Feeling Young Now? is the follow-up to 2010s Grammy-nominated Antifogmatic, about which the New York Times said: Punch Brothers have the unplugged lineup of an old-fashioned string band But their music is as radical as new acoustic music can be.

Ten songs from Whos Feeling Young Now? were written by Punch Brothers, with the bands friend Josh Ritter co-writing lyrics on two tunes (Hundred Dollars and New York City). Additionally, the album contains the bands interpretations of Radioheads Kid A and the Swedish group VÄsens Flippen. The vinyl album was pressed on two discs of 140-gram, audiophile-quality vinyl and includes four additional Punch Brotherspenned tunes. Pre-orders include an instant download of the album track Movement and Location and an exclusive set of five custom Punch Brothers paper coasters illustrated by New Yorker cartoonist Matthew Diffee, signed by the band.

Punch Brothers was formed in 2006 by mandolinist/singer Chris Thile with four other virtuosic musicians: fiddler Gabe Witcher, banjo player Noam Pikelny, bassist Paul Kowert, and guitarist Chris Critter Eldridge. Their first Nonesuch record, Punch, was released in 2008 and combined elements of the bands many musical interests, including indie rock, folk, jazz, bluegrass, and classical music. In 2009 they all moved to New York City and began a regular, standing-room-only, residency at the Living Room, trying out new songs as well as inspired covers; these shows ultimately spawned Antifogmatic.

Whos Feeling Young Now? is less evasive than Antifogmatic and Punch, said Thile. And I feel like part of that is us becoming more comfortable with who we are as a band, and me becoming more comfortable with who I am as a singer.

    OK Computer

Ranked 162/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Granted classic album status almost immediately upon its release in 1997, OK Computer transformed Radiohead from a highly promising rock act into The Most Important Band in the World, a label the band has been burdened by ever since. Combining elements of bombastic prog rock with alternating time signatures and traditional pop songwriting, OK Computer was an artistic departure from the sound of the band's previous efforts and it was the first true sign of the band's restless ambition.

a group which would utilize and transcend all boundaries of
ethnic, electronic experimental and modern classical music.
Landed is Can's seventh studio album, released in 1975.

The band upgraded to 16 tracks and had the opportunity
to bring out many more layers of sound and an upbeat
nature for most of the tracks in the process. The album was
produced by the band themselves, and produced a single,
"Hunters and Collectors" backed by "Vernal Equinox", which
was issued on Virgin that same year.

The band's powerful influence has never diminished, and
their indelible mark is apparent in the bands who freely

Future Days is the fifth studio album by Can. This is the

    I Might Be Wrong

I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings is a 2001 live album. It consists of live performances of eight songs recorded on a tour of Europe and North America, including songs from their albums Kid A and Amnesiac.

National Anthem's fuzzed-out riff rages aggressively behind Thom Yorke's crazed, breath-scat vocal, giving the song a rollicking edge that was nowhere on Kid A. The same effect is heard on Idioteque, as Yorke, getting backup vocal help from the crowd, sings over an acoustic beat, removing the distant, electronic touch of the studio version. True Love Waits aptly ends the record with Yorke and a solo acoustic guitar, which finds just the right touch on a song that Radiohead have played with for years (long-term fans should note the first ever appearance on record of the track). In the end, Radiohead don't really stray too far from the original templates of these songs, they merely play up the highs and milk the lows, just like any good rock band should. -- Matthew Cooke

Angles is The Strokes' first new release since 2006's First Impressions of Earth and the album combines the ambition of its predecessor with the immediacy of the band's earlier full lengths Is This It (2001) and Room On Fire (2003).

In 2010, the band returned to the road, playing and headlining major festivals in the United States and UK, including the Isle of Wight Festival, Lollapalooza, Hurricane Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Rockness, Outside Lands, and Austin City Limits.

Time Out Chicago hailed The Strokes Lollapalooza performance as the best set they've seen since covering Lollapalooza. Better than Radiohead in 2008. The crowd was euphoric.

    Inherent Vice Soundtrack

Nonesuch will release Jonny Greenwood's soundtrack to Oscar-nominated filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson's new feature film, Inherent Vice). An adaptation of the Thomas Pynchon novel of the same name, Inherent Vice, which will be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in theaters starting on December 12, is set in the tail end of the psychedelic '60s and stars Oscar nominees Joaquin Phoenix, Josh Brolin and Owen Wilson. In addition to nine compositions by Jonny Greenwood, the soundtrack features Spooks, an unreleased Radiohead tune performed by members of Supergrass, as well as other recordings from the movie's era (complete track list follows). Additional performers include The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Neil Young, Can, and The Marketts, among others.

This is the third Anderson film that Greenwood has scored. Their previous collaborations include the critically praised soundtrack for 2007's Academy Award-winning There Will Be Blood and 2012's The Master, both released by Nonesuch. Rolling Stone said of The Master that its visual poetry is matched by Jonny Greenwood's haunting, hypnotic score. The New Yorker described the music as rich and inventive. The Times of London exclaimed: Jonny Greenwood's score is superb. Of the There Will Be Blood score, the Boston Globe noted that the squealing, cicada-like strings of...Popcorn Superhet Receiver masterfully evoke the film's apocalyptic vision of the West.

    Familial

When you're the same age as the Prime Minister, you think, I'd better get on with this, Philip Selway grins as he acknowledges the new sea change in British politics but popularity is generally a passing phase while your first album, that's forever. Knowing time waits for no one, he has delivered Familial, a collection of sublimely fragile, haunting, and heartfelt songs that will surprise many, and not only because drummers traditionally don't do this kind of thing. Familial is so persuasively good, it sounds like Selway has always been a singer-songwriter.

It's a sideline solo project, mind. The morning he talks about his record for the very first time, he still has to leave for a rehearsal down the road by an acclaimed Oxford-based band, named Radiohead, for whom Selway has drummed immaculately and imaginatively for the last 20 years. And with the admission, It's a cardinal sin for drummers to come in to rehearsals with the comment I've got this song'! he knows the time has come for his songs, put on ice when drumming took over in his late teens, to emerge into the light.

Listeners to Familial will immediately recognize the ring of absolute truth, melodies and words fired by emotions, and not a whiff of dilettante posturing. In truth, what truly ignited Selway's efforts to record wasn't Britain's political transformation but the loss of his mother in 2006. It was one of those watershed moments that shake everything up, and you get a greater sense of urgency on what you want to do in life, he says.

    Rodrigo Y Gabriela (Deluxe)

Mexico City's Rodrigo y Gabriela originally released their self-titled breakthrough album in 2006 and are now excited to announce a 10-year anniversary deluxe edition for 2017 that will be released via ATO Records. The deluxe edition will include a 2-LP set including both a re-mastered version of the original album and a 2006 performance, live from Olympia Theatre in Dublin.

Affectionately known to fans as "the Crocodile album", the original record has sold nearly one million copies worldwide and the global success of the album, together with endless touring, established Rod & Gab as one of the most popular acoustic instrumental artists in the world.

"We are busy at work on our new record, but looking back at this album, it's good to be reminded of how far we've come in ten years," said Rodrigo. "We had some crazy times in Ireland, and made many great friends there," added Gabriela. "The fans are so passionate about music, this is a thank you to them and our time in Dublin."

Rodrigo y Gabriela was produced by John Leckie (My Morning Jacket, Radiohead, The Stone Roses) and mastered by Robyn Robins, who also did the re-master. The vinyl version will be a double album on 180-heavyweight vinyl.

When Primal Scream's EXTERMINATOR - or XTRMNTR - came out in 2000 as the last album on Alan McGee's legendary Creation Records it made quite a stir. McGee must have told The Scream to let the label 'go out with a bang', and boy did they deliver.

EXTERMINATOR is punk flavoured anarchism mixed with a big beat rumpus, a sonic protest against the self-righteous and unchallenging indie-music of the day. Or, as NME put it: 'rarely has anger been so beautifully managed', as they put it on the #2 spot of the best albums of 2000 (only losing out to Radiohead's Kid A).

With EXTERMINATOR The Scream produced war you can dance to, proving themselves ahead of their time.
