Adrenaline RushAdrenaline Rush, originally released in 1997, is the third studio album by rap artist Twista. It was his second album nationally released after his previous effort Resurrection was shelved outside of Chicago. The album had guest artists: Johnny P, Liffy Stokes, Miss Kane, Malif, Mayz and Turtle Banks. The first single off the album was Emotions, a song which reworked the chorus of the Do or Die hit Po Pimp (on which Twista was featured). The single Get It Wet charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #96. With very little airplay or radio play outside the midwest, it went Gold.LP 1

Yo! Bum Rush The ShowYo! Bum Rush the Show is the debut album from Public Enemy, it was originally released in April 1987 on Def Jam Recordings. The album debuts the
sample-heavy sound by production team The Bomb Squad and is very much a Rick Rubin-directed production. Each track is comprised of kicking heavy
guitars toward the front, honing the loops, rhythms, and samples into a roar with as much in common with rock as rap. The rage which is so often the
focus of "Nation of Millions" is present but with a little more diversity in subject matter that creates a more well-rounded listen. In celebration of Def Jam's
30th Anniversary UMe will be reissuing this title back on vinyl after being out of print for years.1. You're Gonna Get Yours

Live In Tokyo, 1974 (Discontinued)Import
Clear vinyl (in clear plastic sleeve with black lettering) - limited to 500 copies. Avant-garde composer and sound installation artist Takehisa Kosugi (musical director of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company) has led the Japanese avant-garde music scene since the early 1960s. In 1969 he formed the Taj Mahal Travellers, a musical collective that travelled the world in a VW minibus creating Fluxus-influenced improvised multimedia sound events. This double album (divided into two LPs), recorded live at the Nippon Columbia Studio in Tokyo in 1974, was the groups final effort before disbanding. Here Kosugi and the Travellers blend Eastern and Western instrumentation, vocal chants and electronics to create free-form psych-laden drones. A Rush Of Blood To The HeadRanked 473/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
A Rush of Blood to the Head is a soulful, exhilarating journey, moving from the cathartic rock of Politik to the hushed tones of Green Eyes without once breaking its mesmerizing momentum. Singer Chris Martin takes his voice on soaring flights, reaching places only Jeff Buckley previously dared to go. "On December 13, Nico performed at another of her always strikingly original concert venues, this time in Reims Cathedral, where France has traditionally crowned her kings for centuries. Bobby Rush - Upstairs At United, Vol 11On February 4th, 2014, 73 year old Grammy nominated blues and R&B legend Bobby Rush added a generous helping of all analog, direct to tape, soul to Upstairs at United series. The set opens with a blistering take on the Beatles ''Come Together'' where most of the vocal is ''sung'' by the harmonica, followed by a sultry take on Otis Redding's ''Hard To Handle.'' Side two starts with a newly penned gem ''Why Do They Act Like That'' and finishes with Floyd-ish take on a Bobby Rush classic, ''2 Eyes Full of Tears.'' As traditional to the series, these recordings were done live to tape above the mechanical hum of the record presses at United Record Pressing then cut as a 45 RPM 12'' EP for the optimum listening experience.1. ALMI-CLE-9215xRoyal Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Plays The Music Of RushPurple Pyramid Records, a division of Cleopatra Records, will release The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Plays The Music Of Rush on November 13. Nearly sixty musicians and thirty vocalists transform nine of Rush's greatest hits into even more intricate, soaring orchestral works.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra covers the best-known classics, from Working Man, the self-titled debut album track that launched Rush's career in the U.S. to Subdivisions from Signals, the album that proved electronic rock could reside in the top ten. The band's most successful record, Moving Pictures, is represented by rousing versions of Tom Sawyer and Red Barchetta. Special guest guitarists include Steve Rothery of Marillion on Working Man and Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden on Red Barchetta. The Windrush Choir provides backing vocals and solos.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, formed in 1946 and based in London, has been called the nation's favorite orchestra. It has had internationally known maestros like Andre Previn and Louis Clark, and has toured the world. The RPO is a best-selling and adventurous recording entity as well. In 1969, it recorded a concerto for Deep Purple, composed by the band's organist Jon Lord. It earned a top ten U.S. single in 1982 with Hooked On Classics. Over the years, RPO has orchestrally arranged Pink Floyd, Oasis, Queen, R.E.M., Madonna and ABBA.
The orchestra was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, conducted by BAFTA Award-winning musician and composer Richard Harvey. Harvey performed with the prog rock group Gryphon and as an accomplished multi-instrumentalist (specializing in mediaeval and Renaissance periods), worked with many folk and rock musicians such as Richard and Linda Thompson, Kate Bush and Sweet. He has toured and recorded with John Williams, and has performed and composed film/TV soundtracks for more than thirty years. The album was produced by James Graydon and Richard Cottle, who also arranged all the music.1. 2112 Overture

Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998John Carpenter is a legend. As the director and composer behind dozens of classic movies, Carpenter has established a reputation as one of the greatest filmmakers in the history of modern cinema, as well as one of its most influential musicians. The minimal, synthesizer-driven themes to films like Halloween, Escape From New York, and Assault on Precinct 13 are as indelible as their images, and their timelessness was evident as Carpenter performed them live in a string of internationally sold-out concert dates in 2016. Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998 collects 13 classic themes from Carpenter's illustrious career together on one volume for the first time. Each theme has been newly recorded with the same collaborators that Carpenter worked with on his hit Lost Themes studio albums: his son, Cody Carpenter, and godson, Daniel Davies.1. Music Is Painting In The Air 1974-1977Music Is Painting In the Air is a collection of new mixes and unheard music from Sensations' Fix's prolific output between 1974 and 1977. Revered as one of the great articulations of progressive music, Music Is Painting In the Air offers guide posts to those familiar with Sensations' Fix's amorphous catalog and an approachable primer to those just journeying on the sensational trip.
The story of Sensations' Fix begins - and never quite ends - with Franco Falsini. Born in Florence, Italy in 1948, Falsini became a teenage rock 'n' roll convert through a steady supply of 45s sent home by his London-based sister. Following his sister's footsteps to swinging 60s London, Falsini put his love of music into practice, fronting a space blues trio that riffed its way from the UK back to Italy in a Ford Transit.
Falsini became smitten by Vinnie Sherman, an American woman working as a waitress at a nightclub in Florence where Falsini was holding down a residency. The newlywed lovers made their way to Alexandria, Virginia in the summer of 1969. Arriving on August 15th, the first day of Woodstock, a spirit of freedom filled Falsini and fueled his creative proclivity.
Falsini blazed a trail for home recording that has impressed upon inward resourcing and reflecting musicians and DIY enthusiasts in the decades since. A technology stalwart, Falsini employed a floor model MiniMoog and a tricked-out Teac 4-track machine to transform the Virginia basement of the house shared with Sherman into a cosmic conduit and launch pad for Sensations' Fix.
The reach for space from a personal place is nowhere more apparent than on Fragments of Light, early basement recordings solicited by Falsini as deal demos and surprisingly flipped into the first of six Sensations' Fix albums released over the next five years. The up-close fidelity of Fragments - coupled with Falsini's emotive guitar leads and sparse, sentimental vocals - creates a private quality that separates the album from other extravagant progressive rock productions contemporary to its 1974 release.
Relocating back to Italy on the heels of Fragments' release, Falsini, alongside drummer Keith Edwards and bassist Richard Ursillo (both American expats), charged through another two Sensations' Fix albums, Portable Madness in 1974 and Finest Finger in 1976, and a stunning solo album Cold Nose (Naso Fredo) in 1975. Without marketing or tour support to expose Sensations' Fix to a wider European audience, Falsini and his band of psychedelic renegades left Italy for the golden shores of California and their possible salvation. In 1977, Sensations' Fix released Vision's Fugitive on an independent label and fulfilled their major label obligation shortly after with Boxes Paradise.
Falsini spent the next couple decades between New York City and Paris, creatively contentedly creating above par electro-pop (The Antennas) before returning to Florence to launch the Interactive Test dance music label. Meanwhile, the legend of Sensations' Fix grew. On his 2002 album, The Private Press, DJ Shadow sampled from two Sensations' Fix songs. More recently, Sonic Youth curated a career retrospective titled Sensational Fix at Life Gallery in Saint-Nazaire France.
For Music is Painting in the Air, Falsini and his son Jeyon set forth on a year-long voyage to restore and revisit the original Sensations' Fix analog tapes. Honoring Falsini's tradition of autonomy, this collection, as with the majority of the Sensations' Fix catalog, was mixed solely by Falsini. The sequence is chronologically defiant, encouraging the listener to free associate the recurring themes' origins and immerse in the body of music as its own universe.
Once this celestial body suit is occupied, it becomes apparent why the forward-thinking yet emotionally-accessible quality of Sensations' Fix's music is still finding the universal audience for which its intended. Falsini's disregard for time and insistence on reinvention provides an infinite reach for his music. The end-goal was seemingly unmarketable by the industry then, but perfectly harmonious with a culture constantly evolving now.LP1

I Feel So Far Away: Anthology 1974-1998As one quarter of one of the most influential bands of the 20th century, Maureen Moe Tuckers work in the Velvet Underground created a template for all rock drummers that followed. Even today, Moes primal, tribal rhythms can be heard in countless songs from artists around the globe. Her no-nonsense style, spare kit, no drum stool, almost no cymbals, conveyed an urgency and an honesty that was the foundation of the bands sound. In a patchouli-soaked world of 20 minute double-bass drum solos, Moe kept it simple, direct and to the point. As Lou Reed put it, Shes the driving force. The hardcore heart of the Velvets mindset.
Following her tenure with VU, Moe emerged as a solo artist, building a body of work that stretched over three decades. Ranging from home recordings to collaborations with members of Sonic Youth, Violent Femmes, Half-Japanese and her former band, the songs cover a gamut of styles but all bear the unmistakable thumbprint of their creator. Released by various independent labels on LPs, EPs, singles and compact discs, collecting her catalog has been a daunting task. This compilation finally gathers those far-flung tracks in one place.
More than just a drummer, Moe is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, sax, keyboards, harmonica and whatever else the song might need. For prime examples of her DIY recording technique, check out her rendition of Chuck Berrys Around and Around from her debut LP Playin Possum. Recording that album at home on a four-track tape recorder allowed Moe to reconnect with her rock roots and eventually led to a return to live performing.
Moving to Douglas, Georgia as a single mother in the early 80s greatly impacted her songwriting. Themes of workaday blues and tough times are reflected in songs like Spam Again and Thats B.A.D. Loss is also a recurring topic, as in Andy, a touching tribute to the late Andy Warhol. However, it is not all darkness and melancholia. Bursts of exuberance in songs like Hey Mersh! and her loving cover of Bo Diddley radiate infectious joy. Moe also faces the VU legacy head on, reinterpreting seminal tracks like Heroin, Im Waiting for the Man, Pale Blue Eyes and Im Sticking with You and making them her own. Of all the former Velvets, Moes solo work is perhaps the most direct continuation of the bands sound and structure. She never lost her love for pure, lean rock and roll.
This collection has been mastered by Sundazeds Bob Irwin and includes notes by David Fricke. Available on three LPs, Sundazed is honored to present this first-ever career anthology for an uncompromising artist of remarkable tenacity and vision.1. Bo Diddley

Who Can I Be Now? (1974 to 1976) (Box Set)9 Albums on 13 LPs
Features The Gouster, Previously Unreleased As An Album
Includes 84 Page Book With Rarely Seen Photos And Various Ephemera
Parlophone Records are proud to announce DAVID BOWIE 'WHO CAN I BE NOW? (1974 - 1976)' the second in a series of box sets spanning his career from 1969.
The follow up to the awarding winning and critically acclaimed DAVID BOWIE 'FIVE YEARS (1969 - 1973)' will contain the previously unreleased album from 1974 called 'THE GOUSTER'.
The thirteen-piece vinyl set features all of the material officially released by Bowie during the so-called 'American' phase of his career from 1974 to 1976.
The box set, which is named after a track recorded in 1974 but not officially released until the 1990's, includes 'DIAMOND DOGS', 'DAVID LIVE' (in original and 2005 mixes), 'YOUNG AMERICANS' and 'STATION TO STATION' (in original and 2010 mixes) as well as 'THE GOUSTER', 'LIVE NASSAU COLISEUM 76' and a new compilation entitled 'RE:CALL 2' which is a collection of single versions and non-album b-sides.
This release includes tracks that have never before appeared on CD/vinyl/digital as well as new remasters.
Exclusive to the box set is 'THE GOUSTER'. Previously unreleased as a complete album, it was recorded at Sigma Sound, Philadelphia in 1974 and produced by Tony Visconti. The album was mixed and mastered before David decamped to New York to work with John Lennon and Harry Maslin on what became the 'YOUNG AMERICANS' album. 'THE GOUSTER' contains three previously unreleased mixes of 'Right', 'Can You Hear Me' and 'Somebody Up There Likes Me'.
For the 2016 release, Tony Visconti has overseen the mastering from the original tapes and photos taken by Eric Stephen Jacobs have been put together for the sleeve based around one of David's original concepts for the album.
Also exclusive to the CD, vinyl, standard digital and MFiT box sets will be the remastered 'DAVID LIVE (original mix)', the 2010 Harry Maslin mix of 'STATION TO STATION' (previously only available on an audio only DVD in 5.1 and stereo as part of the 'STATION TO STATION' Deluxe box set in 2010) and 'RE:CALL 2'.
'RE:CALL 2' features the original single mix of 'Rebel Rebel', which has only featured on a 40th anniversary picture disc in 2014 since its original release on single in 1974.
'RE:CALL 2' features newly originated artwork with 1975 in-studio images from the 'STATION TO STATION' recording sessions by David's friend and backing vocalist Geoff MacCormack aka Warren Peace.
The alternative cover for the 2010 mix of 'STATION TO STATION' by Harry Maslin, features the originally intended colour sleeve for the album that never got further than a few colour proofs and was replaced by the more familiar black and white image.
The vinyl box set is pressed on audiophile quality 180g vinyl.
The box sets' accompanying book, 84 pages in the vinyl set, will feature rarely seen and previously unpublished photos by photographers including Eric Stephen Jacobs, Tom Kelley, Geoff MacCormack, Terry O'Neill, Steve Schapiro, and many others as well as historical press reviews and technical notes about the albums from producers Tony Visconti and Harry Maslin.David Bowie: Who Can I Be Now? 16"x22" Reproduction Of The First Rush Promo Poster
Three 5"x7" Lithographs Of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson And John Rutsey
A 12"x12" Rush Family Tree Poster
In March of 1974, Rush released their self-titled debut through the band's own indie label, Moon Records in Canada, and quickly sold out of the initial 3500 copies originally pressed. Moon Records would soon become Anthem Records, which launched in 1977, and continues to serve as the band's only Canadian record company.
To mark the band's 40-year recording career, Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) will celebrate with the vinyl reissue of the original Moon Records (pre-Mercury) release of Rush, as part of Universal's reDISCovered vinyl series. Housed in a sturdy, custom box with a lift-off top, this landmark album is pressed on 200g, audiophile grade vinyl, from the original 1974 analog stereo masters, cut to copper plates using the Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) process at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Rush also features the original Moon Records jacket art, complete with the original MN-100-A/B Matrix etching, and will include a 16"x22" reproduction of the first Rush promo poster, three 5"x7" lithographs of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and John Rutsey, and a 12"x12" Rush Family Tree poster.
Featuring the band's original line up, Lee, Lifeson and Rutsey, Rush's eponymous 1974 debut features eight hard- hitting rockers including "Finding My Way," the fast-paced "Need Some Love," "Take A Friend," "What You're Doing," the southern rock vibe of "In The Mood," and their U.S. breakthrough anthem "Working Man" which was made famous by Cleveland, Ohio's WMMS radio station. Other tracks include the more melodic "Here Again" and the atmospheric "Before and After," which gradually builds into a burst of power chords and heavy guitar riffs.
Rush's unique style and sound continues to evolve and push the envelope of rock into new territories, gaining legions of new fans along the way. After a four decade journey, in 2013 Rush was recognized for their immeasurable impact and influence in rock and roll and were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame to the delight of fans and critics alike.1. The Traveling KindThe Traveling Kind follows the longtime friends' first duet album, 2013's Old Yellow Moon, which won Best Americana Album at the 56th annual Grammy Awards as well as two awards at the 2013 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards Show, for Album of the Year and Duo/Group of the Year. The album also debuted at #4 on the Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.
Produced by Grammy Award winner Joe Henry (Billy Bragg, Elvis Costello, Aimee Mann), The Traveling Kind comprises 11 duet tracks, including six new songs written by Harris and Crowell with co-writing by Mary Carr, Cory Chisel, Will Jennings, and Larry Klein. Also featured are new renditions of previous Crowell cuts including No Memories Hanging Around as well as new interpretations of Lucinda Williams' I Just Wanted to See You So Bad and Amy Allison's Her Hair Was Red.
Of the project, Harris comments, In the words of Willie Nelson, 'The life I love is making music with my friends,' and there's no better friend for me to make music with than Rodney. I can't wait to get out there on the road with him and play the songs from this new record.
Crowell adds, Emmy and I wrote six of the eleven songs on The Traveling Kind, which was recorded in a six-day span with our Glory Band, Steuart Smith, and Billy Payne. Joe Henry was at the helm as producer and Justin Neibank did the recording. The experience was pretty much akin to falling off a log.1. The Traveling Kind

Vapor Trails2013's celebration of Rush continues with the highly anticipated release of a remixed version of the band 2002's album VAPOR TRAILS. In 2009, two tracks from VAPOR TRAILS (One Little Victory and Earthshine) were remixed for the Retrospective III collection, setting fans into a frenzy in anticipation of a possible remixed version of the entire album being released one day. Four years later, that day is finally approaching.
Vapor Trails was an album made under difficult and emotional circumstances - sort of like Rush learning how to be Rush again - and as a result, mistakes were made that we have longed to correct. David Bottrill's remixes have finally brought some justice and clarity to this deserving body of our work, says Geddy Lee.
Every song has been given a new life, from the fire of 'One Little Victory,' 'Secret Touch,' and 'Ceiling Unlimited' to the melodic musicality of 'Sweet Miracle' and 'How It Is' these songs have been redeemed. Thank you David!
Recently, a career-chronicling Rolling Stone feature praised the band for its continuing artistic vitality, noting that It's true that Rush doesn't mean today what it did in '76 or even '96. It may mean more. Rush's enduring pop culture relevance is perhaps best evidenced by a pair of high profile appearances - a rare national television performance and interview on Comedy Central's The Colbert Report in 2008 (the band's first TV appearance since 1975), and a pivotal role in the story line of the 2009 hit comedy, I Love You, Man, starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal, where the band also made a memorable cameo in the film.
Beginning with their self-titled debut album in 1974, their extraordinary body of work - which includes such formidable works as 1976's 2112, 1981's Moving Pictures, 1996's Test for Echo, 2002's Vapor Trails and the latest studio album Snakes & Arrows, made a triumphant debut on the Billboard 200 upon its initial release in 2007, entering the chart in the #3 spot. The album's success marked Rush's highest chart debut since 1993, as well as the group's eleventh top ten album in the U.S. Rush has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and garnered untold legions of devoted and admiring fans. According to the RIAA, Rush's sales statistics place Rush third behind The Beatles and The Rolling Stones for the most consecutive gold or platinum studio albums by a rock band.LP 1
