Point Of EntryPoint of Entry is the seventh album from the British heavy metal band Judas Priest. It was originally released on 26 February 1981.
In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight from their album British Steel. As a result, the band pursued a more radio-friendly direction on Point of Entry.
Following the conclusion of the British Steel World Tour, the band began work on their next project. By this time, they had sufficient funds to fly all their equipment to the huge, state-of-the-art Ibiza Studios in Spain. This gave Point Of Entry a louder, stronger, more live sound than previous Judas Priest albums.1. Heading Out to the Highway

Born In The U.S.A.Ranked 86/500 On Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
Mastered By Bob Ludwig Working Under The Supervision Of Springsteen & Engineer Toby Scott
Born in the U.S.A. is the seventh studio album by American rock singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen. A critical and commercial success, it found Springsteen marking a departure in his sound. While its predecessor, the dark and acoustic Nebraska, featured songs of pessimism and isolation, Born in the U.S.A.'s lyrics expressed signs of hope in the daily fight of the ordinary American in following the American Dream, a new feeling complemented by synthesized arrangements and a pop-flavored, radio-oriented sound that helped Springsteen to extend his popularity and appeal to mainstream audiences.1. Riot Act is the seventh studio album by American rock band Pearl Jam, originally released on November 12, 2002, through Epic Records. Following a full-scale tour in support of its previous album, Binaural (2000), Pearl Jam took a year-long break. The band then reconvened in the beginning of 2002 and commenced work on a new album. The music on the record featured a diverse sound, including songs influenced by folk, art rock, and experimental rock. The lyrics deal with mortality and existentialism, with much influence from both the political climate after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the accidental death of nine fans during Pearl Jam's performance at the 2000 Roskilde Festival.LP 1

Singles include Time For Livin' (the band's final Top 40 hit) and Loose Booty, an up-tempo funk track which uses the names of Bible characters Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as a chant, sampled by the Beastie Boys on their masterpiece Paul's Boutique in 1989. Beastie Boys also covered Time For Livin' which was released on the album Check Your Head in 1992 along with a live music video augmented with skateboarding footage.

Back In BlackRanked 73/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
Back in Black is the seventh Australian and sixth internationally released studio album by the band.
Released on 25 July 1980, Back in Black was the first AC/DC album recorded without former lead singer Bon Scott, who died on 19 February 1980 at the age of 33, and was dedicated to him. The band considered disbanding following Scott's death, but they ultimately decided to continue, with encouragement from Scott's parents, and shortly thereafter hired Brian Johnson as their new lead singer and lyricist. Producer Robert John Mutt Lange, who had previously worked with AC/DC on Highway to Hell, was again brought in to produce. The album was recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas, and Electric Lady Studios in New York, where the album was also mixed.Back In Black

Wasting LightFoo Fighters anxiously anticipated seventh album, Wasting Light, produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Dave Grohls home in Californias San Fernando Valley. The new record marks the Foo Fighters first full length effort with legendary producer Butch Vig, who previously produced new tracks Wheels and Word Forward on 2009s Greatest Hits and with whom Dave Grohl (of course) first worked on Nirvanas classic Nevermind.
Nirvana co-founder Krist Novoselic also makes a cameo, contributing bass and accordion to I Should Have Known, while former Nirvana touring guitarist and longtime extended FF family member Pat Smear now joins the permanent FF core of Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel and Chris Shiflett.
The album received its first public airing at a surprise gig Friday, January 28th at the minuscule Velvet Jones club in Santa Barbara, where the band ripped through the entire record from start to finish, and followed up with a crushing live collection of greatest hits and rarely played deep cuts including Wattershed from the bands self-titled 1995 debut.

This Is ActingThis Is Acting is the seventh studio album by Australian singer-songwriter, Sia, following up last year's #1 charting, critically-acclaimed, and gold-certified album, 1000 Forms Of Fear.
"Alive," the album's first single was written by Sia, Adele and Tobias Jesso, Jr. and was produced by Jesse Shatkin, who also co-wrote and co-produced Sia's massive four-time Grammy nominated "Chandelier.
An astonishingly creative and uncompromising performer, Sia is also a highly prolific hit maker and songwriter, having penned several hit singles over the last few years for others. She has crafted songs for pop icons including Rihanna ("Diamonds"), Katy Perry ("Double Rainbow"), Britney Spears ("Perfume"), Kelly Clarkson ("Invincible"), Carly Rae Jepsen (Making the Most of the Night), BeyoncÉ ("Pretty Hurts") and Celine Dion ("Love Me Back To Life"), and many more. Sia has also been the featured vocalist on some of the most massive hits she has written for others including "Titanium" with David Guetta, "Beautiful Pain" with Eminem, and "Wild Ones" with Flo Rida. Pacific DustFor the band's seventh full-length studio album, The Mother Hips have never been more primed to share their well-traveled tales, the long days and nights on the road, the gritty politics, the smart inward reflections and most of all the music, all delivered with a most appealing balance of Americana storytelling and their California-burnished rock. Pacific Dust's compositions about penning a song in your kitchen at 3:00 am (the thundering album opener White Falcon Fuzz), record company politics (garage-rock boogie Third Floor Story), and a father and son's relationship through music (on the ballad Young Charles Ives) indeed tell the story of many American rock bands. But here's why it matters: The Mother Hips have survived, and in fact thrived, throughout the journey and Pacific Dust, with its bittersweet melodies, poignant lyrics, and strong and gritty musicianship, is a perfect example of why.
Earlier albums such as Part-Timer Goes Full, Green Hills of Earth, and Red Tandy have become almost cult classics among indie music buffs, and the band's most recent 2007 release, Kiss the Crystal Flake, offered proof that the band still continues to attract new supporters. Over the years, the band has worked with and played alongside a slew of renowned/respected colleagues including super-producer Rick Rubin, Wilco, Johnny Cash, and many others. Today, armed with their newest release Pacific Dust, The Hips are poised to take their experience and talent to yet another level.$18.99Vinyl LP - Sealed Buy Now
Driving Towards The DaylightOn May 21, 2012, internationally renowned guitar superstar Joe Bonamassa will release a brand new solo album 'Driving Towards The Daylight' on Provogue Records. 'Driving Towards The Daylight' was produced by Kevin 'Caveman' Shirley (Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin). This is their seventh collaboration in six years and Joe's 13th album.
Recorded at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles, CA and Studio At The Palms in Las Vegas, NV, 'Driving Towards The Daylight' is a balanced back-to-basics album that highlights Bonamassa's signature style of roots blues with rock-and-roll guts, while honouring the traditions of the original blues musicians.
"We've taken some really traditional old blues songs - the Howlin' Wolf song 'Who's Been Talkin' and the Robert Johnson song 'Stones In My Passway,' and we've tried to imagine how they would do them in a rock context," said Shirley. "It's a very exciting return to the blues in a very visceral way. It's vibrant and it's gutsy and it's really, really rugged."
The album features five Bonamassa-penned originals including the bruising opener 'Dislocated Boy', the road warrior title track (and first single) 'Driving Towards The Daylight', 'I Got All You Need', 'Heavenly Soul' and 'Somewhere Trouble Don't Go'. Other tracks include Bonamassa's versions of Tom Waits' 'New Coat Of Paint', Bill Withers' 'Lonely Town Lonely Street', and 'A Place In My Heart' by Bernie Marsden. On the album closer, Australian rock singer Jimmy Barnes sings lead vocals on his 1987 hit 'Too Much Ain't Enough Love'.
To challenge Joe and move him out of his comfort zone, a unique group of musicians was gathered including Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford (guitar), Blondie Chaplin (guitar), Anton Fig (drums and percussion), Arlan Schierbaum (keyboard), Michael Rhodes (bass), Carmine Rojas (bass), Jeff Bova and The Bovaland Brass, Pat Thrall (guitar), and Brad's son Harrison Whitford (guitar).
Brad Whitford, speaking from the studio in Vegas, said, "This is definitely more influenced by the stuff that the guys and musicians in this room love, early '60s English and American rock and blues. I guess we'll never get that out of our system and its fun to come in here and find our own path down that highway."

The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The HeartIt was the city of Belo Horizonte, Brazil that launched the ascent of their native sons in SEPULTURA (Portuguese for "grave") in 1983 with a trajectory unsuspectingly aimed at the worldwide metal music scene. A band with humble economic beginnings whose musical identity was forged in the context of living through Brazil's authoritarian military dictatorship, SEPULTURA would go on to become Brazilian ambassadors to the metal world, revered master architects of the death/thrash genre, and the most successful heavy metal band from the Federal Republic of Brazil.
When SEPULTURA experienced a line-up change in the mid-1990s that was widely covered by the metal press around the world, remaining members recruited American Derrick Green in 1997 to front the band, a position the Cleveland, Ohio native has held for the past fifteen years and counting. This past June, long-time guitarist Andreas Kisser (who joined in1987), original bassist Paulo Jr., and drum prodigy Eloy Casagrande, SEPULTURA entered the studio in Venice, California with renowned producer Ross Robinson (KORN, MACHINE HEAD, FEAR FACTORY) - who also worked on the band's landmark 1996 release, »Roots« - and co-producer Steve Evetts (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, SYMPHONY X, INCANTATION) - who previously worked on SEPULTURA's »Roorback« (2003), the »Revolusongs« EP (2002), and »Nation« (2001) - to record the band's seventh studio album with Green (and their second album for Nuclear Blast): »The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart«, scheduled for release this October.
Inspired by Austrian filmmaker Fritz Lang's classic 1927 movie "Metropolis," SEPULTURA leans heavily on the strength of their thrash metal influences to make a statement against the dehumanizing effects of technology. Guitarist Andreas Kisser delves a little deeper:
"In the movie, a crazy millionaire wants to transform a robot into a real person. That's kind of the opposite of what we live today. More than ever, we are robotized through the worldwide web, Google glasses, chips under our skins and globalized slavery our society suffers nowadays. Being that the novel was written in the early 1920s, it's almost prophetical. The phrase that inspired me - the main message of the story - points to the heart as being the human factor that keeps a man a man - not a robot. The heart beats with freedom of choice. We have to think for ourselves to create a real world, not a matrix."
Exploring the miseries and privileges associated with technological power, »The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart« - SEPULTURA's angry dystopian documentary in sonic form - also addresses the chaotic aftermath of natural disasters, the unfulfilled promises of religion, and the still-widening divide & unbridgeable gap between pampered citizens who live in decadent luxury and the working poor who withstand unbearable living & working conditions to simply survive.
The album's opening track, 'Trauma Of War', begins as a cacophony of noise that gives rise to an urgent panic that spins into a paranoiac distress about others making decisions that will lead to our demise in war. In 'The Vatican', we listen as yearning souls pray to their god to alleviate their suffering as the furious vocals, guitars, and drums document the moment when the faithful come face-to-face with the reality of their absent god too self-absorbed with being adored to notice humanity's cries for help. 'The Bliss Of Ignorants' is an indictment by those who intimately know the depths of human suffering against those who don't wish to know. 'Grief' weeps with its gnosis of such a feared emotion. With so many recent natural disasters throughout the world, who could deny the truth behind human greed & corruption sung about in 'Manipulation Of Tragedy'?
With both the 2014 FIFA World Cup championship and the 2016 Olympic Games headed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a worldwide audience will surely be mesmerized by the glamour surrounding these world-broadcasted events. But there are those who bear witness to what won't be televised; there are those who have seen the decades of daily strife of Brazilian citizens with wide-open eyes.
»The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart« never lacks confidence in what SEPULTURA knows: "I live in São Paulo, one of the big metropolises in the world with more than 20 million people living and working in it," asserts Kisser. "I know how it is to live in daily chaos. Our music reflects a lot of that feeling."
Featuring a guest appearance by former SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo, »The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart« does what many great albums do: it captures a moment in time and carves out a place to have a dialogue with listeners with an honesty that rings so true, it becomes a part of our arsenal with which to defend ourselves against the wrongdoings of the world.1.
