    Same Trailer Different Park

Kacey Musgraves is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter from Golden, Texas. She's written songs for Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert and most recently she co-wrote the song Undermine that appeared in the second episode of the ABC drama, Nashville. Kacey wrote or co-wrote every track on her debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, which was co-produced by Kacey, Shane McAnally and Luke Laird. The album features her current top 15 hit single Merry Go 'Round, which has already been heavily praised by Billboard, NPR, Washington Post, NY Post and Rolling Stone.

The making of this record was such a fun and meaningful time for me, said Musgraves. As a writer, singer and producer I learned so much throughout the whole process. I am proud and excited to present a project alongside Shane McAnally and Luke Laird that came from a very real and inspired place in my brain and heart.

    Any Other Way

Known by genre aficionados as one of the
greatest singers and most riveting stage
presences in soul music, Jackie Shane has
    remained largely unknown outside Toronto,
where her career briefly flowered in the
1960s. Beyond her unmistakable gift of the
gab, Shane is a pioneer of transgender rights,
born in a male body but unabashedly living
her entire life as a woman at a time when to
    do so seemed unthinkable.

    Any Other Way
is the first artist-approved collection of
Ms. Shane's work, collecting all six of her
45s and every highlight from the legendary
1967 live sessions at the Sapphire Tavern,
    including three mind blowing, previouslyunreleased
    tracks. Rob Bowman's 20,000
word essay is Jackie's first communication
with the public in nearly half a century,
telling for the first time ever Jackie Shane's
    story in her own words.

This deluxe two album set is
    copiously illustrated with never-beforeseen
pictures from a career and a life unlike
    any other.

Guests On The Album Include Johnny Depp, Members Of The Dubliners, Thin Lizzy, And The Pogues

The Snake is the first solo album by Shane MacGowan with backing band The Popes. Originally released in 1994, the album is a bracing set of songs that draw heavily on traditional Irish folk music while pinning your ears back with a raucous, full-frontal rock sound. Guests on the album include Johnny Depp, members of The Dubliners, Thin Lizzy, and The Pogues.

Like a number of songs recorded by MacGowan's previous band, The Pogues, traditional tunes are sometimes used as a base for a new song. For example, the melody for "The Song With No Name" is based on "The Homes of Donegal".

    EP #260

    One-Time Pressing Of 1500 Copies

SQÜRL is: Jim Jarmusch, Carter Logan and Shane Stoneback. An enthusiastically marginal rock band from New York City who like big drums & distorted guitars, cassette recorders, loops, feedback, sad country songs, molten stoner core, chopped & screwed hip-hop, and imaginary movie scores.

SQÜRL began in 2009 when Jim Jarmusch and Carter Logan teamed with producer Shane Stoneback to record some original music for the film The Limits of Control. Echoing the varied Spanish landscapes captured in the film, the three emerged with a set of slow-motion psychedelic rock instrumentals (releasing them as Bad Rabbit). Following these scoring sessions Jim, Shane, and Carter continued to record new originals while also exploring the back-alleys of American country, noise, and psychedelia. SQÜRL released a series of 3 EPs, recorded over a 3 year period by Shane at Treefort Recording in Brooklyn, NY. Jarmusch and Logan's collaboration continued as a duo with SQÜRL's acclaimed score for Paterson, and a trio with Stoneback for EP #260.

    Reign Of Terror

Reign Of Terror is the sophomore album from Brooklyn, NY noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells and follow-up to their heralded 2010 debut Treats. The 12-song set was produced by Sleigh Bells guitarist Derek Miller and engineered by Shane Stoneback, who also worked on Treats.

According to Miller, With Treats it was less clear to me whether Sleigh Bells was going to be a guitar band or if we were going to do more sample-heavy stuff. With this record I had to pick sides. The beats are still important to me, but the guitar won.

The title track, "This Path Tonight," is the debut single. Like the album, the song is one of reflection and transition of a singer-songwriter whose career (the Hollies, CSN, CSNY) has spanned more than five decades and counting. The founding band of grindcore... Napalm Death is THE most influential band in the genre. Having sold millions of records worldwide and toured the globe they have forged the unlikeliest of careers. The classic debut album 'Scum' was only Earache Records' 3rd ever release and started the wave of grindcore and extreme bands that followed over the next 15 years. The second studio album from Napalm Death 'From Enslavement To Obliteration" is the last to feature vocalist Lee Dorrian and guitarist Bill Steer and the first to include Shane Embury as bassist.

    Hospitality

The angular, intricate, and intelligent compositions of Hospitality signal a sophisticated new pop voice. Singer Amber Papinis idiosyncratic songwriting coupled with the bands rich arrangements on their self-titled debut explore youth, New York, and the bittersweet commingling of past and present in a way that feels just right, right now.

Papinis singing has a wisp of an English accent via Kansas City (she learned to sing by imitating Richard Butler on The Psychedelic Furs Talk Talk Talk) and her lyrics create a moonstruck, even cinematic vision of New York City, where the band formed in 2007.

The production by Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells) and band member Nathan Michel (guitar, drums, keyboards), who released his share of experimental bedroom pop, culminating in 2005s The Beast (Skipp/Sonig), imbues the entire record with an intimate yet prodigious sound, layering period keyboards with horns, synthesizers, and treated guitars. II

San Franciscos Pins of Light reside in that murky musical shadow-territory of the nearly unclassifiable. They craft a brutal and intricate mÉlange of metal, punk and prog that isnt quite any of those things. Pins of Lights most progressive moments are more Motörhead than Mothers of Invention; their metal is more Pink Floyd than it is Judas Priest; the elements of punk are a driving fistfight thats entirely the bands own. Singer and bassist Shane Baker, guitarists Jake Palladino and Ravi Durbeej, and drummer Phil Becker come previously (and currently) from such SF institutions as Dead and Gone, Night After Night, Hightower and Triclops (among a slew of others). The groups debut album II was recorded by Kurt Schlegel (Jello Biafra, Melvins, I Am Spoonbender) and Phil Manley (TransAm, The Fucking Champs) at Lucky Cat Recording and mixed by Becker in the bands hometown.

    Static

The bright and polished New York indie-pop duo Cults gave us a promising self-titled debut a couple of years ago, and now they're set to follow it up with a second album called Static. This time around, Shane Stoneback, the man who produced that debut album, shares production duties with Ben Allen, who most famously helmed Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion (and who's also behind Washed Out's forthcoming sophomore effort Paracosm).

As a press bio states, Static is a breakup album. (The band's members, Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin, were a couple when the project began in 2010.) Oblivion described the meaning of Static in the bio: There's a feeling our generation has. The feeling there's always something better around the corner, that everyone is born to be a star. The feeling that life is waiting for you, and yet it's not happening. All of that is static.

The Pogues are a Celtic punk band from London, formed in 1982 and fronted by Shane MacGowan. The band reached international prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. MacGowan left the band in 1991 due to drinking problems but the band continued first with Joe Strummer and then with Spider Stacyon vocals before breaking up in 1996. The band reformed in late 2001, and has been playing regularly ever since, most notably on the US East Coast around St Patrick's Dayand across the UK and Ireland every December. The group has yet to record any new music and, according to Spider Stacy on Pogues.com, has no inclination to do so.

Reissue Of The Second Studio Album By The Pogues Using 2004 Remastered Audio

Rum, Sodomy & the Lash is the second studio album by the London-based folk punk band The Pogues, originallyreleased in 1985.

The album's title is taken from a quotation often misattributed to Winston Churchill: Don't talk to me about naval tradition. It's nothing but rum, sodomy, and the lash. Singer and primary songwriter Shane MacGowan claimed that the title was suggested by drummer Andrew Ranken. The cover artwork is based on The Raft of the Medusa, a painting by ThÉodore GÉricault, with the band members' faces replacing those of the men on the raft.

MCA Nashville recording artist Sam Hunt is soaring up the country charts with his lead single, Leave the Night On the lead track off his Oct. 27 major label album debut, MONTEVALLO, a ten-track album, all co-written by Hunt, and produced by Zach Crowell (Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban) and Shane McAnally (Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves).

This is such a personal album for me, explains Hunt. Each song holds truth and comes from my own life experiences. To get these songs out into the hands of the fans is both exciting and liberating.

While completing Montevallo Hunt has continued to gain momentum on the road and grow his fanbase. As a result of their enthusiasm, last month Hunt offered fans X2C, a four-song album preview including hit song Leave the Night On. The album teaser fueled the excitement surrounding Hunt and his upcoming project.

    Calling Out

It wouldn't be entirely accurate to say that EZTV met while trying out for J. Spaceman's
latest US touring line-up of Spiritualized, but it's not far from the truth.
Songwriter and audio engineer Ezra Tenenbaum had been casually working
on solo home recordings on his Tascam 8-Track in the vein of Shoes, Emitt
Rhodes and Cleaners For Venus, and, in a desire to round out the songs, he
enlisted bassist Shane O'Connell and drummer Michael Stasiak (formerly of
Widowspeak). As it happened, the trio's first chance to play together was an
audition for the American touring version of Spiritualized (they didn't get the job).
But, the trio kept meeting and working, turning Ezra recording as a solo artist
into Ezra, Shane and Michael playing as a band; thus, EZTV was formed.

With a pool of over 30 demos to work with and Jarvis Taveniere of Woods
onboard to produce, the band headed to Thump Studios in Greenpoint,
Brooklyn, to record their debut LP for Captured Tracks. The result is Calling
Out, a cohesive 12-song statement in the long tradition of fully realized debuts,
stripped of artifice, but full of hooks and songwriting chops. Tracks like
first single "The Light," premiering today via The FADER, exhibit what you would
call the EZTV mantra: presenting songs with only the required embellishments.
They've got one foot firmly planted in classic American power-pop and college
rock while the other utilizes more left-of-the-dial sonic experimentation.
The result is a sound that's both familiar and new, but always about the songs.

In an era of independent music with a lot more emphasis placed on "story" and
meaningless twitter feuds, EZTV present a record that speaks for itself. It's an
LP made for an audience that doesn't want or need any kind of angle or controversy,
but desires songs that resonate and have a lasting appeal, something
    available here in spades.

    Build With Erosion

The Berg Sans Nipple are set to release their third album, Build With Erosion. After the critically lauded Along the Quai in 2007 they are poised to turn heads once again. Build With Erosion has been described as truly original and truly unique, a pretty incredible place, from dancehall to gamelan, from psyche/prog to minimal composition and electronics, from heart wrenching emotion to fun fun fun. The album dives into new sonic territory, with a vision of capturing the live impact of the duo on stage, which has often been the place that the band has fully broken through and captured audiences around the world.

For Build With Erosion, The Berg Sans Nipple returned to work with Along the Quai producer Antoine Gaillet (M83, NTM, Zombie Zombie). After 6 years of the duo, Shane Aspegren and Lori Sean Berg, living and playing in Paris, this is the first album to be made with the members separated by the Atlantic, and has been all about the slow simmer of ideas.

    Midnight Special

Before Uncle Kracker spent six weeks at #1 with When the Sun Goes Down, a duet with good friend Kenny Chesney, country music might've seemed an odd place to find the Detroit-based good-time Kid Rock alumni. But as several summer tours with Chesney, the Top 5 Smile and the enduring recurrent status of Sun prove, Uncle Kracker's deep melodies and sense of what the heartland means has made him a perfect fit in today's post-rural realm of country music.

The first single Nobody's Sad on a Saturday Night, a theme song for a weekend party, from his label debut Midnight Special, has already hit the airwaves and is being embraced by Country radio. With producer Keith Stegall at the helm (Alan Jackson, George Jones and Zac Brown, as well as writing #1 songs for Jackson, George Strait and Dr. Hook), Uncle Kracker took his strong sense of melody and infectious choruses into the studio in Nashville. Writing all 11 songs with some of Nashville's best known writers, including Shane McAnally (Come Over, Somewhere with You, Last Call), Scooter Carusoe (Anything But Mine, Better as a Memory) and Chris Tompkins (Before He Cheats, Blow Away), as well as Detroit rocker JT Harding - Uncle Kracker grounds his music in bands people know, places they've been, moments they've shared and a real sense of America today.

From The Hills Below The City

Houndmouth is comprised of four musicians from New Albany, IN, across the
river from Louisville - hence 'From the Hills Below the City.' Matt Myers (guitar/
vocals), Katie Toupin (keyboard/vocals), Zak Appleby (bass/vocals) and Shane
Cody (drums/vocals) spent the past year building a passionate following in their
hometown and touring with the Alabama Shakes, the Lumineers, Grace Potter,
and the Drive-By Truckers. "Houndmouth is a great young band," testifies Patterson Hood of the Truckers. "They 'brought it' each and every night. They were
extremely popular with our fanbase and our band. I look forward to hearing what
    they do next."

The 12 original songs on 'From The Hills Below the City' are packed with tales
of down-on-their-luck drug runners, casinos, riverboats, recession-era scraping,
and more. All members of Houndmouth sing, "leading with individual character
and harmonizing in saloon-choir empathy," writes Rolling Stone's David Fricke,
and their songs have a loose-limbed swing, anchored by a sturdy rhythm and a
    cagey melodic sensibility.

    Fairweather

Washington DC's Fairweather will release their third full-length album, and first album in over a decade, in 2014. The self-titled album will be released through the band's longtime label, Equal Vision Records.

Fairweather is the most straightforward thing we've ever recorded. Our goal was to make this sound like us playing our songs together, no fancy mixing or overdubs, and no overly complex song structures. On Lusitania, we embellished quite a bit - and this record was done with almost the opposite intent. It probably contains our fastest and most aggressive material to date as well. To me, it sounds the most like us of anything we've ever done. It's loud, urgent, and human, shares Green.

Lyrically and conceptually, I'd say the record is much about acceptance - about one's place in life, about how you exist and live, and coming to grips with certain aspects of your functioning as a person, for better or for worse. There's reflection in the record for sure, looking back on choices and habits, taking stock of what's behind you, and thinking of how it informs you of what's ahead.

Prior to disbanding in 2003, Fairweather released two full-length albums, If They Move Kill Them and Lusitania, and a four song EP, Alaska. Over the years, the band has toured with the likes of Thursday, Brand New, Recover, Dashboard Confessional, Piebald, Strike Anywhere, The Movielife and many more.

Fairweather is comprised of Jay Littleton (vocals), Ben Green (guitar, vocals), Peter Tsouras (guitar, vocals), Ben Murphy (bass) and Shane Johnson (drums).

    Ripcord

RIPCORD features a virtual who's who of creative collaborators for an album that Urban says was his most exhilarating album to make, both musically and creatively.

This album's journey began back in January, 2015 and took me to a lot of unexplored people and places. added Urban. The end result was the recording and exploring of more songs then I've ever done before and carving that down to what I felt constituted RIPCORD.

For the 13-track album, which has already produced his 19th and 20th No. 1 songs, Urban amassed an eclectic group of Grammy, CMA, ACM Award-winning writers and co-producers, who that have collectively worked with the likes of Adele, Jason Aldean, David Bowie, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, Brett Eldredge, Fun, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Madonna, Daft Punk, Pink and Taylor Swift.

They include new collaborations with Jeff Bhasker, busbee, Greg Wells and Nile Rodgers, as well as those who Urban has worked with before, including Shane McAnally, Ross Cooperman, Dann Huff and Nathan Chapman all of whom worked with Urban on his previous No. 1 album FUSE.

Getting to work with people like this was unlike anything I've envisioned before, said Urban. It's the result of writing, reaching, imagining, and following the muse every step of the way.

    Heart Break

Once Lady Antebellum stepped back from the spotlight (and pursued separate creative projects in the interim), the trio found themselves drawn back to collaborate once again. Setting the Florida coast as their backdrop, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood began putting the pieces together for their upcoming sixth studio album, slowly but surely. Heart Break, anchored by lead single You Look Good', soon unfolded and fueled their new purpose. "When we started working on this record, the goal was to give ourselves some space from the day to day," says Scott in a press release.

She continues, "Surrounding ourselves in a new environment with sunny beaches and warm weather really helped free our minds to focus solely on our art. We took some of our favorite writers and other writers we hadn't worked with before to a new inspiring backdrop, where we were able to just write and soak up the journey. And it was on our first trip in Florida when we wrote 'Heart Break' that we felt it all click."

Lady Antebellum enlists such Nashville songwriters as Nicolle Galyon and Jesse Frasure (who both contribute to the life-changing title track and album opener), Shane McAnnally (on Somebody Else's Heart), Sara Haze (This City, Think About You) and fellow country singer Eric Paslay (on the album's bookend, Famous).

    Gardens & Villa

In the year of the saxophone, Santa Barbaras Gardens & Villa give us the flute. And along the way, G&V effectively wipe clear the vaseline from the murky bedroom funk of recent days. G&V bang out instant classics, each crystal clear and immaculate, but no less sweeping or languid. Their debut is a youthful exploration of just how opulent and pop starkness can go. It also leaves an impression of California in the way that Richard Diebekorns Ocean Park series or the pool party scene from The Graduate both do, always sensed more than stated outright.

Gardens & Villa channel all the taut pop precisions of '90s Britpop of bands like Blur, and send it through an '80s synth filter both undeniably coastal and modern. Its Spoons Kill The Moonlight lost in a daydream, but with that same hungry energy. Gardens & Villa may simultaneously pull from Gary Numan, The Kinks and odder prog within one composition. And like a fine sweet tea, its made just that right kind of sugary, though even the most upbeat tunes have an undercurrent of the bittersweet and the lost at heart.

In 2010, Gardens & Villa traveled to Oregon to record their debut with visionary, vibemaster and labelmate Richard Swift. Together, they put some sand in the sheets of new wave (Black Hills) and pop some translucent funk (Orange Blossom). Theres also a level of effortless class maintained across the whole set. Each and every lush little gem explores the wonderful mystery between intuition and proficiency, between tension and repose. Gardens & Villa are Chris Lynch, Adam Rasmussen, Levi Hayden, Shane McKillop and Dusty Ineman.

    Hyperview

Every artist bio has its stock narrative: first comes the lengthy Juvenile Period (trial, error, rejection); then, dues having been paid, comes the electrifying Breakthrough (critical praise, general validation), which inaugurates the terminal Mature Period (respect of peers, reliable buying public, steadily diminishing relevance). Those who make it to that third stage, the story goes, might as well get comfortable, for they've achieved Success.

In 2012, Title Fight, a four-piece from Kingston, Pa., then known for a screamingly insistent brand of melodic hardcore, was right on schedule. Having formed in 2003 while its members (bassist/vocalist Ned Russin, guitarist/vocalist Jamie Rhoden, guitarist Shane Moran, and drummer Ben Russin) were in middle school, the band had begun in typically wobbly fashion with several pop-punk demos, split singles, and EPs. Then, in the spring of 2011, the Breakthrough had arrived in the form of Shed, their debut long player, a blistering, throat-shedding blend of Gorilla Biscuits, Turning Point, and Jawbreaker that won the heart of every hardcore and punk kid from the Warped Tour to Chaos in Tejas - and of every critic from Alternative Press to NME. When the follow-up LP, Floral Green, unexpectedly appeared a scant 16 months later, it bore some new, high-end influences (Hum, Slowdive, the Sundays) and engendered the reasonable assumption that Title
Fight had landed comfortably in their Mature Period.

Hyperview, Title Fight's third LP, sets those assumptions on their head. Taking the measure of Hyperview's massive leap forward from previous releases is difficult to accomplish with words. The listener is periodically
struck by faint echoes of the familiar (the Floral Greenishly tuneful and driving "Chlorine") and of the canonical (the incantatory downstroke pummel of My Bloody Valentine's Isn't Anything period, as on "New Vision"; a Scratch Acid bassline jarringly yet winningly resolving itself into a Chapterhouse swirl, as on "Hypernight"), but this is an album that renders futile the exercise of conceiving bands as sums of influences.
Hyperview can only be heard, and loved, as itself.
