    Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd (45 RPM)

45 RPM 200-Gram Gatefold Double LP Reissue

Remastered By Ryan Smith At Sterling Sound From The Original Analog Tapes

Plated And Pressed At Quality Record Pressings!

Tip-On Gatefold Jacket By Stoughton Printing

What would American southern rock be without the scorching sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd? Analogue Productions and Quality Record Pressings have already brought you exceptional reissues of Second Helping and Nuthin' Fancy. Back to the well then, we go, for two more Skynyrd favorites - the epic Gimme Back My Bullets and the band's bluesy, hard-rocking 1973 debut Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd.

Remastered from the original analog tapes by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, our Analogue Productions reissue of Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd is the ultimate in luxurious reproduction and unbeatable sound. 200-gram plating and pressing by Quality Record Pressings, and a tip-on Stoughton Printing jacket round out the package.

The undeniable youthful hunger of Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd pumps through the subtly witty songs, all strongly rooted in Southern heritage and working-class values. Independent of the most-requested tune in history, Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd bleeds red, white, and blue and encapsulates the wondrous dichotomies of Southern rock.

Months before Lynyrd Skynyrd enjoyed the privilege of recording its debut, the band entered its seventh year of playing juke joints and assorted dives in a bootstraps effort to land a deal. During a residency at a hardscrabble Georgian club, the group's rambunctious rock, swaggering attitude, blue-collar determination, and country-reared cadence caught the ear of producer/musician Al Kooper. The rest is history. Kooper inked the ensemble to his new imprint and hustled everyone into a Georgia studio for sessions that occurred March through April 1973.

It's at the Studio One space that Lynyrd Skynyrd flashed scampering tempos, cutting give-and-take riffs, loose barroom lines, and off-the-cuff vocalese that entirely separated its approach from that of the more jazz-styled affairs of the Allman Brothers Band. Confederate flags, empty whiskey bottles, cocked pistols, rotgut habits, scorned women, and prodigal drifters populate the songs, nearly all written from first-person perspectives that add to their genuineness. Prophetic touches - twinkling piano notes, soaring mellotrons, a one-off harmonica - provide ideal complements to the intertwined guitar melodies and singer Ronnie Van Zant's comfortable gruffness and way of expressing local customs.

    Street Survivors (Awaiting Repress)

Street Survivors appeared in stores in October 1977, just days before Lynyrd Skynyrd's touring plane crashed,
tragically killing many members of the band. If the band had lived "Street Survivors" would have been seen as an unqualified triumph, a record that firmly re-established Skynyrd's status as the great Southern rock band. The album achieved gold certification just 10 days after its release. It would later go double platinum.

1977 Smash Remains South Rock Legends Finest Hour: Includes Whats Your Name and That Smell

Last Album Made By Original Members Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins

Mastered on Mobile Fidelitys World-Renowned Mastering System and Pressed at RTI

Triple-Guitar Front of Steve Gaines, Gary Rossington, and Collins Remains Rocks Most Formidable Assembly of Six-String Players

Street Survivors remains Lynyrd Skynyrds finest hour, and for many reasons. The last album recorded with original vocalist Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines, who passed away in a tragic plane accident three days after its release, the 1977 set is both mythical for its historical significance as well as infallible songwriting quality. Then there's the triple-guitar front of Collins, Gary Rossington, and Steve Gaines, which, together, comprise the most formidable combination of lead six-string players assembled on an original album. Add in freshly inspired performances and classic Muscle Shoals production, and you have a timeless work of art.

Mastered from the original master tapes and pressed at RTI (the best record plant in North America), Mobile Fidelity Silver Series' limited edition LP presents Skynyrds landmark effort in a dynamic, organic, soulful, and balanced sound that puts the musicians on a wide soundstage that will make you think they are standing on a stage in your room. In particular, Van Zants re-energized singing comes through with utmost clarity and verve. The complex web of guitars is now unraveled, with each of the instrumentalists possessing their own space, allowing their contributions to assume a transparency that further lends to the musics impact. Background vocals, too, rise up above what had heretofore been an artificial ceiling.

Produced by iconic producer Tom Dowd, Street Survivors is drenched in earthy vibes and live-from-the-floor rawness, the sense of spontaneity and interplay underlining the groups taut albeit loose material. Rebounding from 1975s solid yet semi-formulaic Nuthin Fancy and the following years equally lukewarm Gimme Back My Bullets, Skynyrd comes out firing on Street Survivors and never let up. The septets nucleus was never better. It's lamentable that this stands as the lineups only studio record together, but the music here makes you all the more thankful for the chance to at least here them reach their potential at least once.

Gaines incredible abilities spur on his mates, which respond with strong ideas and even stronger performances. Melodies are sharp, hooks are abundant, rhythms in command. A miasma of blues, rock, country, gospel, and soul informs the arrangements, and those three guitarists play as if their lives depended on getting everything just right. Songs flow with an effortless ease, and whether its the slithering organ-backed rollick of I Never Dreamed, swampy drug-abuse warning That Smell, or autobiographical honky-tonk Ain't No Good Life, Skynryd clicks on all cylinders. Swagger, swing, and strut. What an album.

Honor Van Zant and Collins memories, and revisit a Southern rock masterpiece, by acquiring this collectable version of Street Survivors.

    Second Helping

200-gram vinyl pressing by Quality Record Pressings!

Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio

    Sleeved in a tip-on jacket

Driven by core members Gary Rossington (guitar), Johnny Van Zant (vocals) and Rickey Medlocke (guitar), along with longtime drummer Michael Cartellone, Lynyrd Skynyrd's legacy goes back some 35 years ago to Jacksonville, Fla., and was halted for a decade by the 1977 plane crash that killed three band members, including Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines. Since then, the band tragically lost Allen Collins, Leon Wilkeson and Huey Thomasson, yet they rock on. With the recent passing of founding member/keyboardist Billy Powell and longtime bassist Ean Evans, a lot of people probably expected us to say enough is enough, admits Medlocke. But that would not be the way of this Rock & Roll Hall of Fame powerhouse. With a catalog of over 60 albums and sales beyond 30 million, Lynyrd Skynyrd remains a cultural icon that appeals to all generations.

This Lynyrd Skynyrd 1974 album follows the success of Free Bird and Gimme Three Steps from their 1973 debut and features their biggest hit single, Sweet Home Alabama, an answer to Neil Young's Southern Man and Alabama. The song reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in August 1974. Second Helping also featured Don't Ask Me No Questions, Workin' for MCA and Call Me The Breeze, the latter of which includes an acclaimed piano solo. Backed by a tight rhythm section and the mighty three-guitar attack of Allen Collins, Ed King and Gary Rossington, singer Ronnie Van Zant turns in a legendary performance on the urgent blues ballad I Need You, the cautionary The Needle And The Spoon and The Ballad Of Curtis Loew.

Perhaps people needed help pronouncing Lynyrd Skynyrd's name when the Florida band's debut album came out in 1973, but soon no one would need help recognizing - or requesting - the album's classic rock anthem Free Bird. With the exception of this nine-minute epic, Pronounced is actually quite lean and mean. Full of instantly recognizable Skynyrd standards like I Ain't the One, Gimme Three Steps, Poison Whiskey, Simple Man, and the ultimate rock ballad Tuesday's Gone, there isn't a single weak spot on it. By blending hard rock, blues, country, and the heart of the South with the distinctly sentimental voice and intelligent lyrics of Ronnie Van Zant, Lynyrd Skynyrd didn't just create an anthem with this album, they defined a genre. They also won themselves an opening slot on the Who's US Quadrophenia tour. Fun Fact: Leonard Skinnerd was a physical-education teacher at the band members' high school that busted their chops for having long hair.

    Second Helping

Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote the book on Southern rock with their first album, so it only made sense that they followed it for their second album, aptly titled Second Helping. Released in 1974, the group turned out a record that replicated all the strengths of the original, but was a little tighter and a little more professional. This album featured the bands biggest hit single, Sweet Home Alabama and reached #12 on the Billboard album charts.

This 1976 Tom Dowd-produced classic, Gimme Back My Bullets, the fourth studio album from the legendary southern rock band, features the original line-up of Ronnie Van Zant on vocals, lead guitar great Gary Rossington, Allen Collins on guitar, Leon Wilkerson on bass, Billy Powell on piano, and Artemus Pyle on the drums.

Other records from the late, great, and original Lynyrd Skynyrd were more barroom raw (Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd), indelibly rocking (Second Helping), and radio-ready (Street Survivors), but none was as endearing and cohesive as Gimme Back My Bullets). The 1976 LP, whose title referred not to ammunition, but to the Billboard term 'No. 1 with a bullet,' found the normally three-fisted Florida guitar army one axe short.

But it allowed Gary Rossington and Allen Collins to work more intuitively on the songwriting chores with vocalist Ronnie Van Zant, while providing room to groove in the process. The results, though underrated in the band's epic pre-crash catalog, sweep into rock ('Trust,' 'Searching'), blues ('I Got the Same Old Blues'), folk ('Every Mother's Son'), and country ('All I Can Do Is Write About It'). - Amazon

    One More From The Road

Released in 1976, It marked the band's first live album, and the only live album from the classic era of the band (1970-1977) prior to the plane crash. It was enthusiastically embraced, entering the Top 10 (it would become one of their best-selling albums, as well). It's easy to see why it was welcomed, since this album demonstrates what a phenomenal catalog of songs Skynyrd accumulated.

Legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd returns with a fiery slice of Southern style guitar rock heaven in Last of a Dyin' Breed, their newest release on Roadrunner/Loud & Proud Records.

This is the kind of record guaranteed to feed the needs of the multi-generational Skynyrd Nation, and continue the renewed vigor the band exhibited with their last album, 2009's God & Guns.

For the passionate, longtime fans of the band, this is Skynyrd at the top of their game, complete with instantly memorable songs, more hooks than a tackle box, and a blistering three-guitar attack at full power.

From the raging guitars of the title track and the pounding, funky homage to local talent in Home Grown to the mind-blowing Honey Hole, Lynyrd Skynyrd sound like young bucks having one hell of a good time, which, regarding the latter, founding member Gary Rossington says is very much the case.

    Nuthin' Fancy

Mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio

200-gram vinyl pressing by Quality Record Pressings!

    Deluxe gatefold jacket

The title may say Nuthin' Fancy but don't be deceived! This 200-gram stunner pressed at Quality Record Pressings is nearly peerless as a Southern rock record. Expertly remastered by Kevin Gray, lacquer plating by master technician Gary Salstrom, heavy cardboard gatefold jacket with vibrantly reproduced original artwork. How does it get any better? As the Ultimate-Guitar.com put it: Most hard rock bands would give their left arm for a record that swaggers and hits as hard as Nuthin' Fancy.

Second Helping brought Lynyrd Skynyrd mass success and for the follow-up they offered Nuthin' Fancy. It was a self-deprecating title for a record that may have offered more of the same, at least on the surface, but was still nearly peerless as a Southern rock record. The biggest difference with this record is that the band, through touring, has become heavier and harder, fitting right in with the heavy album rock bands of the mid-'70s. The second notable difference is that Ronnie Van Zant may have been pressed for material, since there are several songs here that are just good generic rockers. But he and Skynyrd prove that what makes a great band great is how they treat generic material, and Skynyrd makes the whole of Nuthin' Fancy feel every bit as convincing as their first two records.

Sweet Home Alabama Live At Rockpalast

Lynyrd Skynyrd is the ultimate Southern Rock band. Their signature three guitar attack coupled to superb
songwriting and massive on stage charisma has rightfully earned them a reputation as one of the greatest live
bands of all time. The original band infamously had their career cut short by a disastrous plane crash in 1977 which
took the lives of three members plus two of their road crew and seriously injured several others.

In 1987 the surviving members reformed the band with Johnny Van Zant taking the place of his brother Ronnie. This concert from 1996 captures the band on top form at Rockpalast's Loreley Festival on June 23, 1996.

    Nuthin' Fancy

Released in 1975, The biggest difference with "Nuthin' Fancy" is that the band, through touring, has become heavier and harder, fitting right in with the heavy album rock bands of the mid-'70s. The album was their first to reach the Top 10, peaking at #9 on the US albums chart.

Live on stage Lynyrd Skynyrd were as white-hot as a band can get. One More From The Road (1976) is the first album that recorded them exactly that way, three years after their debut Pronounced Leh-Nerd-Skin-Nerd. The result is not surprising. One More From The Road may very well be the most excitingly authentic Lynyrd Skynyrd albums ever, showing a band that simply ruled on stage. It entered the Top 10 instantly, proving to be their best selling album of all time. We're proud to release one of the albums of the travellin' band capturing their most phenomenal songs and awesome live reputation on two discs.

    Nuthin' Fancy (45 RPM)

200-Gram 45 RPM Vinyl Pressing By Quality Record Pressings!

MoFi may have the rest of their catalogue, but Chad Kassem's coup is grabbing this album, the band's second, from 1974. Why? Because it kicks off with their anthem, the inimitable, riff-driven, majestic 'Sweet Home Alabama' - one of the greatest air-guitar/road trip songs ever. By this time, the band was a mite slicker but just as unapologetically Confederate-with-a-capital 'C' as on their debut. The opener does overshadow the rest, but the album serves up what the LP title promises in 'The Needle And The Spoon,' which sounds like 'Sweet Home Alabama II.' Musically, this nestles alongside Little Feat and The Allman Brothers Band - deservedly high praise. - Ken Kessler, Hi-Fi News, April 2014

Get ready for some Southern hospitality, courtesy of Analogue Productions, Quality Record Pressings and one of the hardest-rocking bands to ever grace a stage!

200-gram vinyl, mastering by Kevin Gray, lacquer plating by QRP's Gary Salstrom, heavy, tip-on gatefold jacket. None better.

Whiskey Myers debut album, Road Of Life, established the guys as a worthy heir to Skynyrd s blue-collar tradition. The sinewy sound and intense musical interplay worked well in concert, and dates began piling up in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Since September 2009, they have been touring throughout Texas and Oklahoma as well as the Midwest and the Southeast. The band's sophomore release, Firewater, ups the ante and solidifies Whiskey Myers as the genre-blending diamond in the rough, whose music has captured the attention of fans and critics alike. Produced by Leroy Powell, former guitarist for Shooter Jennings, and recorded at the famed Panhandle House in Denton, TX.

Nazareth's second 74 album Rampant finds the group tempering the four-on-the-floor hard rock attack they developed on Loud and Proud by working a surprising and effective Southern rock edge into the songs. The end result is an album that sounds like a early AC/DC meets Lynyrd Skynyrd at their hardest rocking. Some of the country-tinged highlights include Glad When You're Gone a funny kiss-off to an unwanted lover that airs hillbilly-styled singing with wah-wah-drenched guitar riffs, and Jet Lag a tongue-in-cheek look at life as a touring rock & roller that is driven by some. However, the finest song in this vein is the powerful opener Silver Dollar Forger, which feels like the theme song to the great 1970s car chase movie that never was.

This gatefold sleeved edition of the album contains the B-side to the Love Hurts 7 single as a bonus. Rock on!

    Moon Queen

Ask anyone who lived through it and they'll tell you that the '70s will never be bettered for rock. Connecticut's Lord Fowl know this as well as anyone but rather than simply cruise by on retro clichÉs, they add touches of stoner, grunge and heavy psych to give their arena-worthy anthems a bit more kick. With a strong emphasis on soulful crooning, groove over heaviness and big choruses (and maybe a little cheese) they hit up stomping southern rock in the vein of Skynyrd (Quicksand), rip-roaring metal (Streets Of Evermore) and power-pop (The Queen Is Not Impressed) with flair, attitude and confidently understated guitarwork. The balance between poppier cuts and darker, more substantial numbers is a tricky one but the lunar luminaries pull it off comfortably. If you dig Mountain, Camaros and Pabst, these are your new brothers in arms.

Ten Years of Pussy (Awaiting Repress)

NASHVILLE PUSSY are a band who hail from Atlanta, deep in the heart of the BBQ NATION and sound like AC/DC slap boxing with LYNYRD SKYNYRD while MOTORHEAD watches. They were formed by a husband and wife team of Blaine Cartwright and Ruyter Suys and were born out of the ashes of Blaine's former band NINE POUND HAMMER back in 1997 (In fact Blaine met Ruyter and original bassist Corey Parks at Nine Pound Hammer gigs). Since then they have played over 1,000 gigs in 40 different countries, gathered a GRAMMY nomination, and have toured with, MOTORHEAD, ZZ TOP, LYNYRD SKYNYRD, SLAYER, and a host of other heroes who became instant fans. Ruyter was even voted one of the best female rock performers ever. They have weathered numerous labels, trends and bass players. And, when counted out, have consistently pulled off resurrections that make Jesus look like a rank amateur.

The 16 studio tracks from TEN YEARS OF PUSSY are taken from the band's 3 SPV releases. The most recent, last year's UP THE DOSAGE, has been called NASHVILLE PUSSY'S BACK IN BLACK and was pick of the week on THAT METAL SHOW. FROM HELL TO TEXAS, the band's 2009 cd, was recorded at WILLIE NELSON'S studio in Texas and features the band's strongest songwriting. And GET SOME from 2005, was the first SPV release and the first collaboration with DANIEL REY, and has more hooks than a hillbilly's tackle box. Put on TEN YEARS OF PUSSY and celebrate the band's recent past and while looking forward to rocking with them in the near future.

    Justice (Awaiting Repress)

Bobby Ingram, brain, guitarist and main songwriter of American Southern rock act Molly Hatchet, the term 'justice' is more than just a word. To him, this basic concept expresses his whole philosophy of life. Justice, fairness, trust between friends, family members, parents and their children: what could be more important? Molly Hatchet live this maxim, to them this solemn promise applies not only within the international Southern rock community, but also to their music and its impact on their fans.

A dozen haunting rock numbers prove that Molly Hatchet are justly considered to be on a par with legends such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers. Justice is marked by hot Southern rock that could hardly be more powerful and diverse. Almost every single track signals its musical and thematic direction. Producer Ingram is responsible for the awesome sound, supported by sound engineer Tommy Newton, who mixed the album. "I wanted a warm, natural sound, which you only get with an analog mixing desk," Ingram explains his decision in favor of Newton and his Area 51 studio.

And so Justice has turned into an album that impresses at all levels: earthy, dynamic, with a lot of love for detail and loads of energy. One could say it's Molly Hatchet at their best!
