    Tri-Fold Jacket

2011 release, the first album in eight years from the commercial Pop/Punk trio consisting of vocalist and bass guitarist Mark Hoppus, vocalist and guitarist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Travis Barker. Rising from the Punk scene in San Diego, this trio took the edge out of Punk and made it digestible and easy for people of all ages to enjoy their hook-filled goofy pop songs. Neighborhoods is the perfect blend of styles and musically incorporates all facets of Blink's past, creating a new and improved sound for today.

Introducing An Affordable Solution For Maintaining And Restoring Your Vinyl Collection

No matter how you store and use your records they inevitably will require maintenance. When playing records, dust particles and contaminants always build up on the stylus as the tone arm moves across the record. This accumulation on the needle also "dulls" the sound.

The emergence of the dreaded "audible pops" and "crackle sounds" heard are caused by dirt, grime and particles lodged in the record grooves themselves being hit by the needle, as well as static discharges, all amplified by the cartridge. All are annoying.

Even new and latest pressings are subject to the same conditions as your old collection. Their release agents are found on the record from the pressing process and must be removed prior to use, otherwise they attract at an alarming rate dust and other airborne contaminants.

Therefore, recommended is the continual maintenance and care of your records by way of regular cleanings which in turn reduces these unwanted pops and augments therefore one's listening pleasure and audition. Cleaning WILL NOT remove unwanted sounds caused by scratches on the record surface and depending on the age and condition of the record, even repeated cleanings may or may not restore the record to like new condition, but reduces the overall undesirable effect previously described.

Everyone's an expert! There is much nonsense published regarding the cleaning of records. Soaps, chemical mixes and brews, and especially the use of large portions of alcohol etc., these all affect the record negatively either during or after cleaning. Air drying of chemicals that are not physically removed further creates issues that are cumulative over time. Indeed, to the rescue, ultrasonic cleaners have been around for decades and its use and attributes are well known and while care must also be taken as to the introduction of chemicals in the ultrasonic bath, this cleaning technology is a very valuable tool to use. We differ in how we handle the record itself. Nonsense though, are some of the extravagant prices on cleaning machines available as all ultrasonics operate the same way. >>Many add 2.5 L of alcohol to 6 L of water, dangerous!<<<

The KirmussAudio Model KA-RC-1 revolutionizes the way we clean records. First and foremost: a Patented record suspension system assures where records of any speed and size see their grooves cleaned safely. No damage to the record by mechanical intrusion of skewers and the like.

Secondly, only distilled water with a maximum of 45 mL ( 1.5 oz) of ISA 71% solution constitutes the bath and where applied to the record in its second cycle is an anti-bacterial surfactant, pre and post wash neutral liquid agent is used. Ultrasonics need a surfactant to aid in the cavitation of the water solution to better clean and remove contaminants.

Third: affordability. At a price of $845, everyone can enjoy their collection and restore and maintain it.

The Team: After 3 years of extensive research and trials audiophile and business owner Charles Kirmuss and recognized turntable restoration expert Dr. Eric Watson developed an affordable, simple to use system. With cUl and UL/CE Electrical and Safety Approvals our affordable system will increase your listening pleasure by removing most of those annoying unwanted pops and crackling sounds from both new and old records. This is not some home-made product. With Patents both issued and pending, ware also sure that You will be very pleased with the results and benefit from many years of satisfaction with our revolutionary ultrasonic based cleaner.

    Limited Edition Pink Colored Vinyl

Full Color Gatefold Jacket With 11 x 11 Insert

There comes a time in every punk's life where he or she has to grow up, or at least acknowledge that maturity is just around the corner. blink-182 put it off for as long as they could, but ten years into their career and two albums after their big breakthrough, 1999's Enema of the State, they decided to make a stab at being grown-ups for their eponymous sixth studio album. As with many self-titled albums, the trio uses this as an attempt to redefine itself, and they have considerably expanded both their sonic template and lyrical outlook on blink-182. They're still rooted in punk-pop, but even songs that stretch no further than that sound are a little darker, a little restless, reflecting the overall mood of the record. In shorthand, this is the record where blink-182 delve into post-punk, opting for some appealingly sullen moodiness, off-kilter hooks, lots of sonic textures, and even a duet with the Cure's Robert Smith. Since the trio is an inherently catchy group, this is a far cry from neo-post-punk groups like Interpol or even the dynamically hooky Hot Hot Heat, but there is a greater variety of sounds on blink-182 than on any of the trio's other albums, and the songwriting is similarly adventurous, alternating punchy, impassioned punk-pop with weirder, atmospheric pieces like Down and I'm Lost Without You. If nothing on the album has the immediate impact of All the Small Things - though the opener, Feeling This, comes close - and if, on the whole, blink-182 isn't as bracing or visceral as Dude Ranch or Enema, so be it: there's more to explore on this album than any of their other records. It's an unexpected and welcome maturation from a band that just an album ago seemed permanently stuck in juvenilia.

Imagine an album that could contain tracks by Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and Elvis Costello, as well as Frank Sinatra, Cream, and Van Morrison. That's part of the lineup on this various-artists sampler of music used in the television series The Sopranos, music that dates from each of the last five decades of the 20th century, from Bo Diddley's 1950s hit ''I'm a Man'' to Eurythmics' ''I've Tried Everything'' from their 1999 reunion album, Peace. Familiar songs like Sinatra's ''It Was a Very Good Year'' are given a new flavor by being sequenced between very different yet oddly complementary songs. The most interesting moments, however, come with the less familiar material -- cast member ''Little Steven'' Van Zandt and the Disciples of Soul's ''Inside of Me,'' Elvis Costello & the Attractions' live take on ''Complicated Shadows,'' Wyclef Jean's rap over Sly & the Family Stone's ''Family Affair'' on ''Blood Is Thicker Than Water,'' which refers specifically to the mafia family story line of the show. The result sounds like an hour with the radio station of your dreams, which is what this kind of album aspires to be. ~ AllMusic Review by William Ruhlman

Everyone loves a party, so most people love a party band. That's why SoCal's Blink-182 have enjoyed a relatively long life in the ephemeral world of punk rock: They know how to make being pissed off sound as inviting as the pop of a beer-can tab. Bassist-vocalist Mark Hoppus, guitarist-vocalist Tom Delonge, and drummer Travis Barker have a swell time on their third album, singing about sexual frustration (Dumpweed), alienation (the power-pop-y All the Small Things) and the sucky, suicidal state of the world (the piano-laced Adam's Song). The minimalist rat-a-tat-tat rhythms never falter; the guitar boings up and down like a sonic Superball. It's all harmless but still gnarly enough to foment the kind of anti-everything rebellion that spawned rock & roll way back in the day. Sometimes feeling good doesn't demand more than a sense of collective ennui or a bouquet of clumsy words/A simple melody (Going Away to College). Blink-182 have the formula down, and for that, if nothing else, more power to 'em.

Half Hour of Power is an EP by Canadian rock band Sum 41. It was originally released on June 27, 2000, on Big Rig Records, a subsidiary of Island Records (United States), and Aquarius Records (Canada). Some consider the album to be the band's first studio album. However, the band claims that their next release, All Killer No Filler, is their first debut album.

The first track, Grab The Devil By the Horns and Fuck Him Up the Ass, is a time warp. For a minute and a half, the group relives the new wave of British metal and cranks out an Iron Maiden style tune. After a brief trip down memory lane, the album quickly morphs into pop punk. The songs are well crafted and the hooks are catchy on Make No Difference and Summer. But in some respects that is problematic, there was a time in the pre-Green Day/Blink 182 years where punk defined itself by not being radio friendly. A good album, but essentially proof that turn of the millennium punk is just as much a corporate rock entity as adult contemporary. - Curtis Zimmermann, All Music

Based On A True Story (Awaiting Repress)

Clear Vinyl - limited to 1250

Etched D-side with no center label while C-side has double-printed center label that shows through other side

Based on a True Story is the second studio album by American pop punk band The Starting Line.

Available on vinyl for the first time.

Double LP with D Side film canister etching featuring a double print center label. Mastered for vinyl at Lucky Lacquers. First pressing is on clear variants, enhancing the double printed center label. Future represses will not include the double printed center label or clear vinyl.

'Based On A True Story' brilliantly blends the fresh and the familiar: 'Bedroom Talk' and 'The World' summons visions of thousands of fists in the air, while 'Surprise, Surprise' displays The Starting Line's uncanny ability to be at once contemplative.
