1992, the album has proved to be a seller over time, moving over two million copies in the U.S. alone. 40oz. to
Freedom contains the hits "Date Rape," "Badfish," and "Smoke Two Joints."

Although technically considered a compilation album, Second-Hand Smoke originally featured previously
unreleased material as well as remixed versions of previous released tracks. It is regarded as the band's final
album.

Released in 1997, Second-Hand Smoke is platinum certified by the RIAA.

Could you think of any other film producer that picks better soundtracks than the widely revered Quentin Tarantino? Inventing a genre on his own, his string of best-selling nouvelle violence movies started out in 1992 with the low budget cult classic Reservoir Dogs.

The film follows a band of criminals preparing for a diamond heist and follows the characters in the crime's aftermath. Its cast consists of sublime actors such as Harvey Keitel (whose comeback was a direct result of this film), Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Chris Penn (Sean's brother) and Steve Buscemi as the legendary character of Mr. Pink. The film's sparkling dialog catapulted Reservoir Dogs to eternal cult status and remains a favorite among movie fans all over the world, a fame to which its soundtrack contributed a great deal.

Music On Vinyl is proud to release these so-called 'Super Sounds Of The Seventies', a selection of unusual and sometimes wacky hits by artists such as Stealers Wheel, Harry Nilsson (Coconut is included on Nilsson Schmilsson [MOVLP279]) and Joe Tex. The movie also raised public interest in the Dutch band George Baker Selection, due to the use of his Little Green Bag in the film's opening titles. Keep On Truckin'!

solo performances by singer/guitarist Bradley Nowell. It features popular songs including "Wrong Way," "Saw Red,"

Broadcast live in early 1976 from L.A.s legendary Roxy Theatre by that city's KMET FM Radio, this dynamic set captures the former Velvet Underground front-man, Lou Reed, working through an eight song selection of some of his finest work he had released up to that juncture. Featuring a sublime Im Waiting For The Man dating back to the first VU album, Lisa Says, a song written at a similar time and indeed demoed by the Velvets but not released until it's inclusion on Lou's first, eponymous solo LP in 1972, and two cuts apiece from October '75's Coney Island Baby (Kicks & the title track) and his then yet to be released Rock and Roll Heart (I Believe In Love & You Wear It So Well) a record not issued until October '76. He was never going to get out alive however without performing ...Wild Side, thus a 10 minute rendition of this classic tune provides the penultimate number of this energetic performance.

The source of the music remains the same, an exquisitely
crafted blend of symphonic rock, folk and electronics but much has changed in the interim. The album was
recorded during a time of financial and personal adversity, and as a result, Until The Colours Run is more soulful
and dynamic than its predecessor. In sound, it's both
harder ('Elodie', the title track) and more luminous
('Green And Gold', 'Picture Show'), and a more emotionally and politically charged experience, as singer/lyricist
Hazel Wilde paints unflinching portraits of what she sees.
It's a haunting, often devastating combination.
