Caught Up In The Gears Of ApplicationSuperjoint was resurrected in 2015 after the original band broke up a decade earlier. At the behest of the now deceased Corey Mitchell ( co-founder of The Housecore Records Horror Film Festival) Superjoint founders, Philip H. Anselmo, Jimmy Bower & Kevin Bond teamed up with longtime associates from numerous musical endeavors, Steve Taylor & Jose "Blue" Gonzalez to reform the band. Mitchell's idea worked brilliantly, as the band members found much joy in playing together, and new material followed shortly thereafter. Their new LP, "Caught Up In The Gears of Application" is true to the style of the original-a vicious mix of Hardcore, Heavy Metal, and New Orleans-style angst.1. Today and Tomorrow

Insecurity Notoriety (Awaiting Repress)Insecurity Notoriety is the debut full-length release from hardcore punk act Arson Anthem. Released via Housecore Records, the band includes Philip Anselmo (Pantera, Down, Superjoint Ritual), Hank Williams III (Superjoint Ritual, Assjack) and Mike IX Williams (Outlaw Order, Eyehategod) and Colin Yeo (Ponykiller).
I'm nos sure what it iss...but when Hank III, Colin and I get into 'Arson' mode, time stops. We know the mission is to write unforgiving hardcorse inspired by a slew of '80s bands...but the result is its own animals, yet not too terribly removed from the genuine article describes Anselmo. With that said, Insecurity Notoriety is like listening to an old favoritve blast from the skanking past...viscious, snotty, grating and anthemic! I Know it's typical to call a modern-day hardcore band fresh or different, especially when it's your band, but...it is! This effort makes our first EP sound like child's play, as it should. Play it over and over! Piss everyone off!1. Naught

Melk En HoningAuthor & Punisher s newest album entitled MELK EN HONING , produced by Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down, Superjoint Ritual, and more) due out Summer 2015, is melange of his various drone machinery together, multiple physical rhythm machines, some synth and the new electromechanical masks that began to appear in A&P performances across the U.S. and Europe in 2014. After 2 years of heavy touring and festival appearances, the goal with this album became to try and capture the live dissonant power of the A&P experience. The combination of Anselmo s persistence, expertise and some of Shone s new experimentation with various vocal devices, this is a vocal-prominent, bass heavy album that combines A&P's signature elusive drone sequences and hard hitting rhythms with unexpected terrains of melody and musicality that sustain Shone's reputation as an unorthodox innovator in a class all of his own.
Abandoning the typical guitar and drums set up, Author & Punisher makes aggressive rhythmic and oscillatory soundscapes from his own custom fabricated and precision machinery. Designed by Shone himself, the instruments of Author & Punisher are custom devices that begin mostly as big chunks of aluminum and steel that are worked into all manners of wheels, throttles, pedals, and masks to manipulate sound live. Shone s electromechanical arsenal and physical approach to live production become to heavy music what Survival Research Laboratories was to live, unscripted performance art. Pitchfork styled him immediate but mysterious, Stereogum described his chilling, unrecognizable form, and NPR hails him as a thrill [who] fires on all cylinders.$22.99Vinyl LP - 2 LPs Sealed Buy Now

After a self-prescribed hiatus, 2012 saw Prong blow the hinges off the door with the release of "Carved Into Stone". Seemingly out of nowhere, Tommy Victor and company managed to combine all the previous elements of the band's formula: thrash, hard-core, industrial metal, etc. with a new urgency and angst that struck a deep nerve with the band's loyal fan-base and beyond.
The band marched onwards with 2014's highly acclaimed "Ruining Lives" which spawned a number of instant classics. "Turno-ver", The Barriers" and the title track became staples in their live set when embarking on a bone breaking schedule of concerts around the world in support of the record. A video for Remove, Separate Self" was released creating even more interest in this significant recording.
Recorded over the summer of 2014 and released in early 2015, Prong's cover album "Songs From The Black Hole" was loved by fans and critics alike. Always game to make the unexpected move, the album featured songs from artists as diverse as HÜsker DÜ, The Bad Brains, Black Flag, The Sisters Of Mercy and Neil Young.
After yet another headline tour, it was straight back to the studio for another studio album. Just days after mixing was completed, PRONG went on the road with Danzig and SuperJoint Ritual in North America and released the first single "Ultimate Authority" on the day the tour began.
"X - No Absolutes" is Prong at their very best. The sheer intensity and ferocity of the albums opening triumvirate "Ultimate Authority", "Sense Of Ease" and "Without Words" leaves the listener gasping for air. The title track is crunchy and catchy at the same time. "Do Nothing" may be as close as you will ever hear PRONG get to a ballad and shows the enormous progress and confidence Victor has made vocally. It is hard to find a weak spot here, notably Victor mentions that „sequencing the album was a difficult task; every song is so strong in it's own way".
Again produced by Tommy Victor, this time with trusted collaborator Chris Collier as co-producer and engineer, "X - No Absolutes" also broadens the horizon sonically.1. Ultimate Authority
