    Revelator (Awaiting Repress)

Revelator is a dramatic leap forward for both Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in every respect, from the songwriting and the production to Tedeschi's vocals and Trucks' guitar playing. Their new 11-piece band is an aggregation of talented musicians related by experience, and blood, and clearly adds to the notion of Revelator as a true group album.

Tedeschi and Trucks co-wrote the album's 11 tracks with an impressive list of songwriters including: Jeff Trott, John Leventhal, David Ryan Harris and Sonya Kitchell, Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Oliver Wood (Wood Brothers), Doyle Bramhall II, Erick Krasno (Soulive), Mike Mattison, Kofi Burbridge and Oteil Burbridge.

In addition to Tedeschi and Trucks, Revelator features bassist Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers) and keyboardist/flutist Kofi Burbridge (The Derek Trucks Band), drummers J.J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell, trumpeter Maurice Brown, tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams, trombonist Saunders Sermons and harmony singers Mark Rivers and Mike Mattision.

    Up On The Chair Beatrice

Susan Cowsill and Vicki Peterson have been playing music apart and together for their entire lives. Susan was a child star with her family band, who were the real life template for The Partridge Family. Vicki of course is known as a member of The Bangles.

The two first performed as The Psycho Sisters in the early years of the last decade of the previous century. At that time, both were members, along with Peter Holsapple, of the much loved band The Continental Drifters.

After many years of friendship, the two decided to make a proper album. Up On the Chair, Beatrice features ten tunes of harmony, hooks and just a touch of New Orleans Hoodoo. Along with 8 original tunes, the album features their versions Peter Holsapple's What Do You Want From Me and Harry Nilsson's Cuddly Toy.

The recording is full of dynamics and a warm, present sound while capturing the raw, spontaneous energy of a live show. The set list puts the emphasis on tracks from 'Already Free' but also includes other originals and covers, revving it up with not only excellent guitar phrasing but also incredible percussion, blazing horns and deeply moving vocals. Let Me Get By

Let Me Get By features ten new, original songs that together stand as a testament to the hard work, independent spirit, and full-on commitment of the entire Tedeschi Trucks Band. The album's artwork-a Mongolian golden eagle caught a moment after flying from its handler's glove-and even the album title itself reflect the sense of total dedication that serves as the driving force behind TTB.

Some songs you may have heard on stage in 2015, and some others that were deliberately held back for this occasion. Susan's vocals and Derek's guitar soar, tumble and glide through each song, as powerful as ever, even in the album's most understated moments. --tedeschitrucksband

This previously unreleased version was recorded in 1984, six years before 1990's classic reimagining by SinÉad O'Connor and before Prince started performing the song live. The track was recorded at the Flying Cloud Drive 'Warehouse' in Eden Prairie by Prince's long-time engineer Susan Rogers, and originally composed, arranged and performed in its entirety by Prince, aside from the backing vocals by Susannah Melvoin and Paul St. Paul Peterson. At Least We Have Each Other

A collaboration featuring acclaimed singer-songwriters Jon Dee Graham, Freedy Johnston and Susan Cowsill. Freedy Johnston is a New York City-based singer-songwriter. Having scored several minor hits since the early 1990s, Johnston's songs are often about troubled loners, and cover topics like heartbreak, alienation and disappointment. Known for the craftsmanship of his songs, he has been described as a songwriter's songwriter. Susan began her musical career with The Cowsills in 1967. Her contribution to the Cowsills' backing vocals made her, upon her ninth birthday, the youngest person to be directly involved in a hit record when Indian Lake made the Top 10 in the early summer of 1968. In 1969 she contributed to the vocals in what would become the Cowsills' biggest hit, Hair. Jon Dee Graham is a musician, guitarist and songwriter from Austin, Texas. Graham was named the Austin Musician of the Year during the SXSW music conference in 2006. He was inducted into the Austin Music Hall of Fame three times: as a solo artist in 2000, again in 2008 as a member of The Skunks, and again in 2009 as a member of the True Believers.

The album Joyful Noise features guests including his wife Susan Tedeschi (with who he formed The Tedeschi Trucks Band in 2010), Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and soul artist Solomon Burke. For Better, Or Worse

Oh Boy Records will release John Prine's latest, For Better, Or Worse, a duet album and follow up to the Grammy nominated In Spite of Ourselves. In this timeless album, produced by Jim Rooney, John sings with country sweethearts Iris DeMent, Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, Kathy Mattea, Kacey Musgraves, Fiona Prine, Amanda Shires, Morgane Stapleton, Susan Tedeschi, Holly Williams, and Lee Ann Womack.

The classic songs on For Better, Or Worse, originally recorded by artists such as Hank Williams, George Jones, Ernest Tubb, Buck Owens and others, are in John's blood. "I cut my teeth on Hank Williams songs," he says. "When I sing these songs there is a small pipeline straight from my heart to my lips." The tracks take listeners through the universal cycle of love's pull, love's bend, love's life, and love's end.

The Wayward Bus / Distant Plastic Trees

The Magnetic Fields' first two albums, The Wayward Bus and Distant Plastic Trees, make their debut appearance here on vinyl, packaged together as a two-LP set.

Distant Plastic Trees was originally released in England and Japan in 1991. The album includes the early-'90s college radio single "100,000 Fireflies" which had earlier appeared as a single on Harriet Records and was later covered by Superchunk.

For its domestic debut, Distant Plastic Trees was paired with the Magnetic Fields' 1992 album The Wayward Bus on a single CD that came out on the band's own PoPuP Records imprint before its re-release on Merge in 1994. While both albums feature singer Susan Anway (formerly of early-'80s Boston punk band V;), the latter introduced several new players who would subsequently make regular appearances on Merritt's various musical projects. "With the 1991 debut album Distant Plastic Trees, the Magnetic Fields' composer and frontman Stephin Merritt introduced the first incarnation of the Magnetic Fields. On this album, deadpan vocalist Susan Anway sings lyrics of heartbreak and surrealism over a bed of inscrutable instruments played and programmed by Merritt," Handler explains. "The second album, The Wayward Bus, adds cellist Sam Davol, tuba player Johny Blood and percussionist Claudia Gonson to create a plinky, orchestral sound in tribute to pop producer Phil Spector and his 'Wall of Sound.'"

The album artwork on both Distant Plastic Trees and The Wayward Bus was created by watercolorist Wendy Smith, who had also painted album covers for the Rough Trade band Weekend (a musical project from members of Young Marble Giants). Her beautiful wrap-around paintings, now printed in a larger format, along with remastered audio make this two-LP set an exciting addition to the Magnetic Fields discography

    United We Swing

Celebrating the red, white, and Blues! Recorded between 2003 and 2007, United We Swing finds an unparalleled array of music talent that collectively boasts 94 Grammy Awards joining Jazz at Lincoln Center Managing and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis (a nine-time Grammy Award winner himself) and some of the world's top jazz musicians to perform blues-inflected versions of iconic American repertoire.

Those one-night-only, live performances have never been released before. They include Lenny Kravitz performing Marsalis's hypnotizing, New Orleans-inflected arrangement of Kravitz's own song, "Are You Gonna Go My Way"; Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks uniting for a stirring, infectious take on Civil Rights anthem "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free"; Bob Dylan adding harmonica licks to a deeply felt, in-the-pocket rendition of "It Takes a Lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry"; and Ray Charles taking the stage for one of his final performances to play "I'm Gonna Move to the Outskirts of Town."Together these artists raise their voices to highlight jazz's importance to America's cultural heritage and to remind us that, even in divided times, music can unite us all. All proceeds from the album will go toward Jazz at Lincoln Center's education programs, which introduce thousands of children to jazz each year.

    The Superions (Discontinued)

Formed in Orlando, Florida in 2006, THE SUPERIONS are the most exciting group to hit the music scene since Elvis or Lady GaGa (or Susan Boyle for that matter). FRED SCHNEIDER (B-52s), NOAH BRODIE and DAN MARSHALL were just somewhat normal guys when their bodies, minds, and souls were taken over by alien beings from the planet Superion. Now real talented, they perpetrated magic with their first digital release, Totally Nude Island on October 31, 2008. Take soft tradewinds, a healthy dose of tropical passion, and a deadly volcano and voila!: an instant classic destined to sell millions, or a lot less, was born. Following on the heels of this multi-plat... er, real popular song, The Superions return with the new smash Who Threw That Ham At Me. Destined to be another hit (they hope). Ham is a cautionary tale about the serious crime of shoplifting, set to a bouncy disco beat. Their debut seven-track EP also includes the original version of Totally Nude Island, along with remixes by THE LOLLIGAGS and MARSHAMALLOW COAST, and a Ham remix by CASPER & THE COOKIES. The Happiest Lamb

Since arriving in Los Angeles, Audra Mae has landed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell, a TV placement singing Bob Dylan's Forever Young on the FX series Sons of Anarchy, a record deal with SideOneDummy Records, and in late 2009, co-wrote Who I Was Born to Be, the only original track on Susan Boyle s chart-topping, 9 million-selling I Dreamed a Dream album. It has turned out to be a dream come true for the 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Oklahoma.

Growing up, show business was in Audra Mae's blood. She is the great grand niece of the late Judy Garland and her grandmother turned her on to country and folk artists like Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton and Woody Guthrie, while her grandfather introduced her to jazz.

Audra Mae is a natural without a doubt. The Happiest Lamb, produced by Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem, Lucero) spotlights Mae's incredible voice and her songs are timeless affairs augmented with minimal accompaniment, including acoustic guitar, piano, mandolin and sometimes mournful accordions.

    Signs & Signifiers

Named as an artist you should know in 2011 by NPR, singer/songwriter JD McPherson makes his Rounder Records debut with the release of Signs & Signifiers which All Music calls a rockin', bluesy, forward-thinking album that subtly breaks the conventions of most vintage rock projects. McPherson is an artist with an unaffected take on vital American music and a voice that channels the spirit of Little Richard and James Brown.

The seductively kickass 12-song set finds this renaissance man/hepcat seamlessly meshing the old and the new, the primal and the sophisticated, on a work that will satisfy traditional American rock 'n' roll and R&B purists while also exhibiting McPherson's rarified gift for mixing and matching disparate stylistic shapes and textures. Recorded on analog equipment through vintage microphones and a 1960s Berlant 1/4 inch tape machine, Signs & Signifiers marks the arrival of an authentic, gutsy American artist.

Featuring JD McPherson (lead and backing vocals, guitar), Jimmy Sutton (bass), and Alex Hall (drums, piano, organ), the album also hosts an array of guest musicians, including Scott Ligon on piano (NRBQ's Terry Adams Rock & Roll Quartet); Jonathan Doyle (Nick Curran & the Lowlifes, White Ghost Shivers); Chicago's Josh Bell (The Del Moroccos) on tenor and baritone saxophones; Susan Voelz (Alejandro Escovedo, Poi Dog Pondering) on violin; Allison Chesley (Helen Money) on cello; and Joel Paterson (The Modern Sounds) lends choice guitar work to the Joey Simone classic Your Love (All That I'm Missing).

    Trigger Hippy

Trigger Hippy is a rock band with jam & R&B elements formed by Black Crowes drummer and co-founder Steve Gorman. Multi-platinum recording artist
Joan Osborne - of the Tope 5 single "One Of Us." Also spent time singing for The Dead. Singer-guitarist-keyboardist Jackie Greene who joined The Black
Crowes in later years and also spent time with Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov't Mule, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Susan Tedeschi as well as a host of others. Award-winning session players Tom Bukovac (Guitarist) and Nick Govrik (Bassist.)

You can see this as a 'player's band', explains co-founder Steve Gorman, who also co-founded The Black Crowes, but it really is a band, in the true
sense of that word. Vocals are shared by multi-platinum singer Joan Osborne and veteran recording artist Jackie Greene. Rounding out the band are
lead guitarist Tom Bukovac and bassist Nick Govrik, who wrote many of the band's songs.

The Nashville-based quintet's debut album on Rounder Records draws on the strengths of all five, both individually and collectively, and showcases
influences and inspiration from Memphis soul to rock, country and blues. One can sense The Band here, and Little Feat, some Led Zeppelin, and a tent
revival; a full palette. Gorman rightly calls it a rock band that can jam.

    Tin Can Trust

Tin Can Trust is Los Lobos' first collection of new original material in four years. The Grammy-winning East L.A. band's lineup has remained uninterrupted since 1984, when saxophonist/keyboardist Steve Berlin joined original members Louie PÉrez (guitar, drums, vocals), David Hidalgo (guitar, violin, accordion, percussion, vocals), Cesar Rosas (guitar, vocals) and Conrad Lozano (bass, vocals). Seven songs on the album are distinguished and genius Hidalgo-PÉrez collaborations, including the opening track "I'll Burn It Down," (featuring Susan Tedeschi). Three others were written in whole or in part by Rosas - including the album's two Spanish-language numbers: the cumbia "Yo Canto" and the norteño "Mujer Ingrata" - and display Los Lobos' signature seamless infusion of Mexican folk songs into rock music. Also included in Tin Can Trust - a cover of the Grateful Dead's "West L.A. Fadeaway" - offering a nod to the bands' shared history that extends back into the 1980s when the Angelenos befriended and opened shows for their northern peers. They will be touring the second half of the summer away into the fall. In a gatefold cover.

The Derek Trucks Band have been issuing records (live and studio) that are long on fire, improvisation, and inspiration. Trucks' own skillful leadership has seamlessly melded Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Eastern Indian modal music in a brew that is uniquely his own.

Already Free (2009), the ninth studio album by The Derek Trucks Band, is an exception to the rule. Trucks himself stated that the album has a different feeling compared to their other works because in the past, he always felt pressure to make a guitar album. The difference, he maintains, is that the band has had more time to mature, and the album's sound is more balanced between the different contributions of its members, who developed its overall effect as they arranged the songs that were recorded for this album.

The album has received very positive reviews, and debuted at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 reached #1 on the Blues chart, #1 on the Internet chart, and #4 on the Rock chart. This marks the band's highest debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart to date. The album won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album, marking the band's first Grammy award.

The first single Down in the Flood features guest musicians include Doyle Bramhall II, Susan Tedeschi and Eric Krasno (of Soulive). The song Back Where I Started was co-written by Trucks with fellow Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes.

    Midnight Highway

Quinn Sullivan's third studio album, Midnight Highway, scheduled for release on January 27th, 2017, was produced by multi Grammy® winner Tom Hambridge, who also doubles as Quinn's drummer. The album was recorded primarily at the prestigious Blackbird Studio with some of the greatest Nashville musicians, including bassists Michael Rhodes and Tom MacDonald, guitarist Rob McNelley, and keyboard player Reese Wynans, a veteran ofStevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble.

Quinn has been a music professional more than three-quarters Of his life. Beginning his career at age 3, Quinn, who is currently a high school student, has shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Los Lobos, The Roots, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi and Joe Bonamassa, and also opened for B.B. King, who later invited him to play his treasured "Lucille" guitar.

He has performed concerts and at festivals throughout the United States - including storied venues like Hollywood bowl, RFK stadium, and Madison Square Garden - traveled overseas - performing at both the Montreux Jazz Festival and India's Mahindra Blues Festival - and played several editions of the Experience Hendrix tour, backed by Jimi's original bassist Billy Cox.

A protÉgÉ of Buddy Guy, Quinn always follows his mentor's advice: "Just go out there and show them why you're here Make them remember you."

    Barabajagal

Donovan was in a tremendously creative phase during the latter part of 1968, owing to both a tour of the United States (which yielded a live album) and the chemical and social stimulation of his surroundings. Amid all of that activity and his subsequent recordings, his European performances, and the slightly late catch-up of his British career to his American success, Donovan's work blossomed in several different directions on the resulting album, Barabajagal. He still sounded like a folkie, but on the title track as well as Superlungs My Supergirl, he was backed by the Jeff Beck Group and an outfit that included Big Jim Sullivan and John Paul Jones, respectively. With Barabajagal, Donovan intermingled soft, lyrical, spaced-out folk, hard psychedelia, children's songs, anthems to free love (along with a lusty appreciation of the fairer sex that runs throughout the album), and even antiwar sentiments (To Susan on the West Coast Waiting). The result was the most challenging album then issued by Donovan, but also one of his most successful, with album sales driven by the presence of the U.S. hit Atlantis.

    Skin Deep

Buddy Guy's new album, Skin Deep is his 10th Silvertone/Zomba studio release and it features all original material as well as collaborations with fellow guitar luminaries Eric Clapton, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.

Elaborating on his inspiration for the album title and song Skin Deep, Guy touches upon a powerful series of personal memories and observations on the ways in which were all the same underneath it all. I used to play with this boy, ride horses, down close to where I was born, he says. Then when we were 13, his parents made us stop. They used to say you had black blood or white blood, but wed get a flashlight and hold it up to our skin and wed just see red blood. Thats what I mean by 'Skin Deep.'

In a career spanning more than 45 years, Buddy Guy continues to add to his ever-growing legacy. At the age of 72, he graced the cover of Rolling Stone, as part of the magazines recent '100 Greatest Guitar Songs' issue (his cataclysmic 1961 recording of Stone Crazy made the list) and he also turned in a show-stopping performance in Martin Scorseses Rolling Stones concert film, Shine A Light. Guy has won five Grammy Awards, 23 W.C. Handy 'wards (the most any one blues artist has received), a Congressional Medal of Arts and Billboard Magazine's prestigious The Century Award for 'distinguished artistic achievement. In 2005 Buddy Guy was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by friends Eric Clapton and B.B. King.
