Tedeschi Trucks Band'
Revelator (Awaiting Repress)Revelator is a dramatic leap forward for both Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in every respect, from the songwriting and the production to Tedeschi's vocals and Trucks' guitar playing. Their new 11-piece band is an aggregation of talented musicians related by experience, and blood, and clearly adds to the notion of Revelator as a true group album.
Tedeschi and Trucks co-wrote the album's 11 tracks with an impressive list of songwriters including: Jeff Trott, John Leventhal, David Ryan Harris and Sonya Kitchell, Gary Louris (The Jayhawks), Oliver Wood (Wood Brothers), Doyle Bramhall II, Erick Krasno (Soulive), Mike Mattison, Kofi Burbridge and Oteil Burbridge.
In addition to Tedeschi and Trucks, Revelator features bassist Oteil Burbridge (Allman Brothers) and keyboardist/flutist Kofi Burbridge (The Derek Trucks Band), drummers J.J. Johnson and Tyler Greenwell, trumpeter Maurice Brown, tenor saxophonist Kebbi Williams, trombonist Saunders Sermons and harmony singers Mark Rivers and Mike Mattision.1. Come See About Me

Let Me Get ByLet Me Get By features ten new, original songs that together stand as a testament to the hard work, independent spirit, and full-on commitment of the entire Tedeschi Trucks Band. The album's artwork-a Mongolian golden eagle caught a moment after flying from its handler's glove-and even the album title itself reflect the sense of total dedication that serves as the driving force behind TTB.
Some songs you may have heard on stage in 2015, and some others that were deliberately held back for this occasion. Susan's vocals and Derek's guitar soar, tumble and glide through each song, as powerful as ever, even in the album's most understated moments. --tedeschitrucksband1. Anyhow

Live In San Diego (with Special Guest JJ Cale)Eric Clapton's Live in San Diego With Special Guest JJ Cale is a live album from the 2007 tour featuring JJ Cale, Doyle Bramhall II, Robert Cray, Derek Trucks and more. Almost 2 hours of music including previously unreleased versions of Layla, Tell The Truth, Cocaine and Crossroads.
Recorded at Clapton's March 15, 2007 performance at the iPayOne Center in San Diego, CA, this concert was part of a world tour that was much loved by Clapton fans and featured a stellar band that included guitarists Derek Trucks (now of the Tedeschi Trucks band) and Doyle Bramhall II. The two-hour San Diego concert was a highlight of the tour as it featured JJ Cale as a special guest on five tracks (including "After Midnight" and "Cocaine"), as well as Robert Cray on the final song of the record, "Crossroads."
After successfully covering several JJ Cale songs over his career, Clapton finally collaborated with Cale in 2006 on the original album Road to Escondido. At the time, Clapton said "This is the realization of what may have been my last ambition, to work with the man whose music has inspired me for as long as I can remember." So it is fitting that one year later, Cale joined Clapton on stage for this special concert where they performed five songs together - underlining the mutual respect the two musicians had for each other.
The concert features a superb set list from across Eric's career. Notably, it includes songs from Eric's classic Derek and the Dominos album Layla, with Derek Trucks playing many of Duane Allman's original guitar parts.
Clapton's career, spanning more than 50 years, has resulted in 18 Grammy Awards and the distinct honor of being the only triple inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

OVSE-MOV-1395xDerek Trucks Band
The Derek Trucks Band have been issuing records (live and studio) that are long on fire, improvisation, and inspiration. Trucks' own skillful leadership has seamlessly melded Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Eastern Indian modal music in a brew that is uniquely his own.
Already Free (2009), the ninth studio album by The Derek Trucks Band, is an exception to the rule. Trucks himself stated that the album has a different feeling compared to their other works because in the past, he always felt pressure to make a guitar album. The difference, he maintains, is that the band has had more time to mature, and the album's sound is more balanced between the different contributions of its members, who developed its overall effect as they arranged the songs that were recorded for this album.
The album has received very positive reviews, and debuted at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 reached #1 on the Blues chart, #1 on the Internet chart, and #4 on the Rock chart. This marks the band's highest debut on the Billboard Top 200 chart to date. The album won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album, marking the band's first Grammy award.
The first single Down in the Flood features guest musicians include Doyle Bramhall II, Susan Tedeschi and Eric Krasno (of Soulive). The song Back Where I Started was co-written by Trucks with fellow Allman Brothers Band guitarist Warren Haynes.LP1

Clear LanguageWhen Rob Lowe and Michael Muller founded Balmorhea in 2006, their goals and expectations were modest, as they created music to share with friends and family, and slowly developed a following in their hometown of Austin and beyond. They Couldn't have anticipated that their music would take them on multiple tours of the US and Europe, and even to Asia. Nor did they expect the praise their work would receive from such well-respected publications as Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, and The Atlantic among myriad others, and that their work would become quietly ubiquitous, doing the emotional heavy-lifting for national TV commercials, films, radio and cable programs, and countless documentaries.
Lowe and Muller had developed a wordless language with a seemingly limitless potential to stir the listener's soul. Over the course of 5 full-length albums and a 7EP, the duo pushed their work to its outer bounds, concluding the first chapter of their career with their maximalist, genre-leaping full-length Stranger (2012). Now Five years later they return with their most fully realized album to-date, Clear Language, an album which almost never happened.
Almost a decade on the road, near-constant musical output, and shifting creative priorities caused Lowe and Muller, to soberly assess the band's future. What, in the form of Balmorhea, was there left to say? And did they have the energy to say it? To answer that question the duo decamped to their east Austin studio, where they worked simply and with restraint, letting intuition guide them as they molded 30-plus raw ideas into the 10 elegant, spacious gestures that comprise Clear Language.
Co-produced and engineered by David Boyle in Austin's Church House Studios,Clear Language finds the duo returning to the simplicity of their roots. They eschewed complexity for complexity's sake, allowing a watery, sand-hued mood to settle over their use of analog synthesizers, piano, vibraphone, electric and bass guitar, violin, viola, field recordings, and, for the first time in the band's history, trumpet, performed by Tedeschi Trucks' Ephraim Owens. A relaxed, clear-eyed sense of reflection flows gracefully through the album as these two old friends transmit unfettered meaning through simple sonic gestures that resonate with the cosmos as much as they echo the pulse of a human heart. In a culture dominated by the loudest, ostentatious voices, Lowe and Muller continue to prove the power and importance of restraint and minimalism.1. Clear Language
