    Starfish

The Church were founded in 1980 in Canberra, Australia. Their jangly guitar Pop, combined with emotional and smart lyrics, proved an immediate smash 'down under' and beyond.

Their 7th album Starfish was recorded in Los Angeles with producers Waddy Wachtel and Greg Ladanyi, both longtime veterans of the L.A. studio scene. When released in 1988, it rightfully became the breakthrough of The Church in the United States. The album peaked at #41 in the Billboard 200, no small feat for a non-US act. Under The Milky Way was released as a single and nearly topped the Mainstream Rock charts, topping at second place, and reached #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. Reptile was released as a second single.

    Priest = Aura

Available On Vinyl In The USA For The First Time

Priest = Aura is the band's eighth LP and was originally released in 1992. This sprawling, psychedelic, surreal album is a creative peak for the band with a richly detailed widescreen production courtesy of producer Gavin Mackillop. The 14 track record features many classics and defies commercial conceits by opening with two long songs in Aura & Ripple, continues through Mistress and Kings, and ends with the epic, turbulent Chaos and the atmospheric instrumental Film. Priest = Aura is a longtime fan favorite and lead singer Steve Kilbey's pick as the best album by The Church. First time available domestically on vinyl and first time ever as a double LP! Sometime Anywhere

    Blue & Orange Colored Vinyl

The 1994 release by The Church Sometime Anywhere found the group down to two original members, bassist/singer Steve Kilbey and guitarist Marty Willson-Piper, after the departure of Peter Koppes. The resulting album featured new song writing approaches and musical experimentation resulting in many lengthy, lush tracks (Day Of The Dead, Two Places At Once, Fly Home). Song structures are much freer with an early electronica sound dotting the textured arrangements with loops and drum machines featured on some of the songs. Sometime Anywhere is another dark, epic, and exotic masterpiece by the Aussie legends that propelled the band into the next phase of their career. Reissued on blue & orange vinyl from Plain Recordings.

A Church That Fits Our Needs

A Church That Fits Our Needs, the second album by North Carolina group Lost In The Trees, is underway, announcing itself as a work of vaulting ambition, a cathedral built on loss and transformation. In the summer of 2009, Ari Picker, writer, composer and architect of the band, lost his mother, an artist in her own right, when she took her own life. Picker was in the midst of releasing his bands debut album, All Alone in an Empty House, a collection of folk-inflected songs that surprised with its orchestral arrangements, to an acclaim usually reserved for seasoned veterans: both heart wrenching and beautiful, said Paste, while the Huffington Post called the album spellbinding in its musical ambition, touching in its intimacy, and often overwhelming in its emotional honesty. Picker took the loss of his mother and set about transforming the events into a tribute, composing, writing lyrics, his mothers picture above his writing desk: the same picture that now graces the albums cover. I wanted to give her a space, in the music, to be, and to become all the things she didnt get a chance to be when she was alive.

The result is A Church That Fits Our Needs, an album that can stand beside musical journeys like Neil Youngs Tonights the Night and Bon Ivers For Emma, Forever Ago. Pickers astonishing voice, an instrument that veers from Carl Wilsons emotional purity to the otherworldly abstractions of Thom Yorke, opens our window into this intensely emotional music. While this might sound like a somber affair, A Church That Fits Our Needs is anything but. Picker, a classically trained composer, has Shostakovich and Stravinsky at his fingertips, but the music on this album speaks just as much to his love of Phil Spector and old film scores. Above all this is pop music, in the way that A Day In the Life or Radioheads No Surprises are pop music, seeking to present complex ideas to the widest possible audience. This is the album Picker set out to make, a celebration of the woman he calls a warrior, and a testament to the power of music to heal and transcend.

    The Church Within

    Features Two Bonus Tracks

Includes Added Photos and Original Album Art With Lyrics

Includes a New Note From Wino Himself

Biker metal, doom metal, stoner metal whatever metal subgenre you
want to fit him into, Scott "Wino" Weinrich has been at the forefront of it
for over thirty years. The unmistakable rasp of his lead vocals and thick, fuzzy Gibson
guitar tone have spearheaded bands ranging from Saint Vitus to Spirit Caravan to Probot,
but for many his crowning achievement (and most accessible one) was The Church
Within, the last album he made with his first band, The Obsessed, for Columbia in 1994.

His lone major label release, The Church Within features the dark vision and crushing,
slow-motion riffs beloved by fans of Black Sabbath, but the driving intensity and atonal guitar solos recall
Motörhead and Black Flag, respectively; in short, this album transcends genre classifications even as it defines
them. Now, for the first time, this lost classic of '90s metal is being reissued by Real Gone Music on double
180-gram gatefold vinyl with two bonus tracks (the single "Mental Kingdom" and the unreleased track "Melancholy
Grey"), added photos, the original album art with lyrics and a new note from Wino himself. Everyone from Henry
Rollins to Dave Grohl to Ian MacKaye has sung Wino's praises time to join the chorus.

Washington DC stalwarts Deleted Scenes released their debut album Birdseed Shirt to Pitchfork's rave reviews, calling it ferocious, brave, and a well-balanced demonstration of both thoughtful existentialism and strange, drowsy downers (Pitchfork, 8.0). Deleted Scenes' sophomore album Young People's Church of the Air, which will be released by Park The Van Records this summer, pushes the band's formidable rhythm section further, exploring the possibility of hope.

    Metal Church

Metal Church is the self-titled debut album of the heavy metal band of the same name. The album was originally released independently in 1984. Based on the success of the album, the band was signed to a recording contract by Elektra, who reissued the album in 1985. The cover art depicts a cruciform Gibson Explorer hidden in shadows and smoke.

Some of their most notable songs are the opener Beyond The Black, their title track, the instrumental Merciless Onslaught, Gods Of Wrath (which is different from all the other songs, as it had clean vocals, clean rhythms, and fluent solos) and the Deep Purple cover Highway Star.

The album is produced by Metal Church and Terry Date (Pantera, Slayer, Prong).

Legendary Cleveland quintet RINGWORM discharge their 8th full-length album Snake Church, a 12-track, 30+ minute testament of vicious aggression.

After having converted metalheads and hardcore fans alike with their intense, no-holds-barred live shows and consistently punishing albums over the course of the last 25+ years, RINGWORM once again prove that they are in a league of their own when it comes to face-breaking sonic fury.

Recorded and produced by Ben Schigel (Chimaira, ZAO) at Spider Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Xibalba, Black Breath), Snake Church obliterates the listener and never relents, leaving nothing but bile and bone in its wake.

    Church Mouth

While this new album maintains its artistic mix of aurora borealis-avant-indie pop and post-punk, Church Mouth paves a new musical path for the band. A departure from 2006's drum-machine and sequencer-heavy Waiter: You Vultures!, Church Mouth leans on Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, and Santana for inspiration. Front man John Gourley was also listening to a lot of Blind Willie Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson when he wrote the record. While most of us who grew up in the continental US were raised on Saturday morning cartoons and sugary cereal, Gourley's Alaskan upbringing was unorthodox; his youth spent exploring nature in one of the few virtually untouched territories left in the world. As a result, his striking enigmatic vision makes its mark on the band's packaging, merch design, videos, photos, posters, and the music.

Live At Old South Church (Out Of Stock)

On Friday night, October 22nd, 2010, Caspian played a benefit concert in Boston, MA at The Old South Church. The performance was a benefit for Amirah, a non-profit organization located in Boston dedicated to providing whole-person care for victims of human sexual trafficking. On this evening in particular, the band was in that special place that special bands go when things come together perfectly during a performance. Keep in mind they were in a massive, Gothic Revival style church built in 1875 with natural reverb and an unparalleled organic wall of sound. The audio of this experience was captured, and while it's true that there's nothing like actually being there, this recreation is about as close as it gets. These first official live recordings of Caspian in this specific venue are truly indicative of the sheer power of their epic performances. Two dollars from every sale will be donated directly to Amirah.

    Limited To 400 Black Vinyl

Be forewarned, the vultures are circling around this grim chapel - the Swedish old guard UNDER THE CHURCH, comprising of members from the iconic Nirvana 2002, have unearthed the latest sepulture Rabid Armageddon.

With nine tracks of fecal morbid abrasion, UNDER THE CHURCH have truly stepped it up a notch with remarkably catchy hooks and their already recognizable corpse-decaying Death Metal stench soaked throughout the entire album! Rabid Armageddon is proof once again that crass-ridden and obscene Swedish Death Metal still is a winning formula and shall eternally reign supreme. Blessing In Disguise

Blessing in Disguise is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Metal Church. New vocalist Mike Howe joined up with the band for the recording of this 1989 release, replacing David Wayne, who left the band. Mike Howe brought the band a fresh boost of energy and the album represents some of the best material in the band's long career. Some critics and fans even claim this is the best Metal Church release.

The album was produced by the legendary metal producer Terry Date (White Zombie, Deftones, Dream Theater), who previously worked with the band on the 1984 self-titled debut album. Highlights on the album are Anthem to the Estranged and The Spell that Can't be Broken. Overall the album contains impressive, heavy guitar work. Metal Church gained all lot of respect for their contribution to metal music and Blessing in Disguise is a classic! The re-issue is pressed on 180 gram audiophile vinyl and includes an insert.

    Rough Guide To Gospel Blues

The huge musical influence of the church has meant that gospel music and the blues have long been intertwined. From the true guitar evangelists such as Blind Willie Johnson and Reverend Gary Davis to blues legends Blind Lemon Jefferson and Skip James, these recordings illustrate how the line separating the Lord's song and 'devil's music' was very thin.

    The Outsiders

One of music's most electrifying entertainers and prolific songwriters, EMI Records Nashville's Eric Church, releases his fourth studio
album, the aptly titled, THE OUTSIDERS. The release is the follow-up to his CMA and ACM Album of the Year, CHIEF, which has gone
on to sell over 1.5 million records and produce two No. 1 singles, "Drink In My Hand" and "Springsteen" and three Top 10 hits since it's June 2011
    release.

Church shared the news exclusively with Associated Press' Chris Talbott remarking, I'm interested to see what people think about them. I always say the
songs are mine till the moment we release them, then they're the fans' (songs). I'm very anxious. I have a lot of anxiety to see what people think about
    what we've done."

Church performed the album title and lead single, "The Outsiders," on The 47th Annual CMA Awards, airing live on ABC Television on Wednesday, Nov.
6, where he was nominated for two CMA Awards this year: Male Vocalist and Musical Event of the Year (with Jason Aldean and Luke
Bryan for "The Only Way I Know"). The song is an ode to the manner in which Church and his fans have built his career, as an inclusive group together
fighting to have his music heard.

Jay Joyce once again joins Church for production and songwriting collaborations. Church started writing for the release in 2012 while on his arena tour,
Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour. Talbott notes, "Some of the most striking moments [on THE OUTSIDERS] would seem odd to your local program director.
There's a dark trilogy, for instance, that includes a dramatic recitation of the Shel Silverstein poem 'The Devil and Billy Markham.' 'Roller Coaster Ride'
actually feels just like one. And album-closer, 'The Joint,' is an oddly affecting cross of Tom Waits and J.J. Cale."

    Vivaldi: The Four Seasons

British violinist Nigel Kennedy's brilliant recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons has become one of the best-selling classical albums of all-time. Recorded originally in November of 1986 in the Church of St John-at-Hackney, London with the English Chamber Orchestra, it was a recording that would achieve unparalleled public and media attention and change the course of music history, marking the first time that commercial pop marketing was used in the classical world!

    This World Is Not Enough

Since 2010, Elias Bender Rønnenfelt (Iceage, Vår) has used the Marching
Church moniker to a variety of musical ends, both live and recorded. However,
the project as it exists on This World Is Not Enough wasn't born until November
2013. With a live performance looming and no real idea what the set would be,
Rønnenfelt found a new vision for the band while daydreaming at a gig at the
venue where Marching Church was set to perform. "What I pictured was me in a
comfortable armchair, adorned in a golden robe, leading a band while a girl kept
pouring me champagne when I required it," Rønnenfelt explained. "This raised
the question, 'What sort of music would go along with this picture?'"

Rønnenfelt discovered the answer to that question with a lineup rounded out by
Kristian Emdal and Anton Rothstein of Lower, Cæcilie Trier (Choir of Young
Believers), Bo H. Hansen (Hand of Dust, Sexdrome) and Frederikke Hoffmeier
(Puce Mary). Under Rønnenfelt's leadership, the group composed some music,
rehearsed twice, and played their show. It was decided that night that this incarnation
of Marching Church would make a record.

This World Is Not Enough was influenced at first by obscure works like David
Maranha's experimental drone-rock saga Antarctica, and eventually by soul
bandleaders like James Brown and Sam Cooke. "The whole month of writing
and rehearsing and the one week we had in the studio was truly an explosion
of ideas," Rønnenfelt said. "Improvisation, something I have never worked with
before, was crucial in the making of this album, considering the loose nature
of the writing on some of these songs. The album works because of the band's
incredible ability of breathing life into these, at times, very simple ideas and
    experiments."

The eight tracks that made the final cut are, in Rønnenfelt's words, "songs of
nocturnal longing, preposterous self-obsession and cockeyed etiquette," and they
are an exemplary statement of the songwriter's extraordinary growth since the
    birth of Iceage.
