Newly Released Bonus CD Features Previously Unreleased Recordings By Chris Cornell, Mike Mccready, Mudhoney, And Paul Westerberg In Addition To Rarities Such As Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier
Includes Liner Notes And A Track-By-Track Description Of The Album's Music Written Especially For This Collection By Cameron Crowe, The Screenwriter And Director Of "Singles"
Epic Soundtrax and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Cameron Crowe's groundbreaking romantic comedy, "Singles," with the release of a newly expanded and remastered edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album.
The 2xLP edition features the album's original 13 tracks newly mastered and freshly pressed across four sides of collectible 12 vinyl. The bonus CD of rarities and unreleased tracks is included as a special insert in the 2xLP 12 vinyl package.
The newly released bonus CD features previously unreleased recordings by Chris Cornell, Mike McCready, Mudhoney, and Paul Westerberg in addition to rarities such as Cornell's 1992 EP Poncier (debuting an early rendition of "Spoonman") and tracks from the film not included on the best-selling soundtrack album first released on June 30, 1992. The success of "Singles" helped establish a then-emerging new generation of rock artists-including 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden-as musical forces to be reckoned with.
The expanded edition of the "Singles" soundtrack includes, for the first time on CD, "Touch Me I'm Dick," the signature track from "Singles" performed by Citizen Dick (a fictional band created for the film featuring frontman Matt Dillon backed by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament).
The new Epic Soundtrax/Legacy Recordings edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack includes liner notes-and a track-by-track description of the album's music-written for especially for this collection by Cameron Crowe, the screenwriter and director of "Singles." The newly expanded edition of the film's soundtrack is produced by Danny Bramson and Cameron Crowe and mastered by Mike Piacentini at Battery Studios, New York.
Set in Seattle at the beginning of the 1990s, Crowe's film featured music by relatively obscure (at that time) bands like Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden, providing an introduction to an emerging grunge rock music scene for a welcoming mainstream audience. The film became a cult classic while the soundtrack achieved RIAA double platinum status in the US.
A romantic comedy capturing the zeitgeist of an era, "Singles" helped define the look, sound, attitude and style of Generation X with a fresh-faced ensemble cast featuring Bridget Fonda, Campbell Scott, Kyra Sedgwick, Matt Dillon, Bill Pullman, Sheila Kelly, Jim True-Frost, James LeGros, Ally Walker, Jeremy Piven, Eric Stoltz, Tim Burton and more.
Crowe's groundbreaking film chronicling the lives of Seattle's twentysomethings touched a nerve in the culture while the movie's best-selling soundtrack-with tracks from new artists and classic rockers-provided a critical overview of the roots of grunge and the essential contributions of Seattle rock. Alongside new songs like Alice In Chains' "Would?" and Pearl Jam's "Breath" and "State of Love and Trust" stood the Jimi Hendrix Experience's "May This Be Love" and a breathtaking cover of Led Zeppelin's "The Battle of Evermore" performed by The Lovemongers (a musical side project created by Heart's Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson).
The first edition of the Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was originally released on June 30, 1992 and became a chart-topping best-seller three months prior to the theatrical release of the film. The soundtrack included music from key bands from the Seattle music scene-including Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden-while Paul Westerberg, in his first solo recordings outside The Replacements-contributed two songs and provided the score for the film. Smashing Pumpkins were also featured on the soundtrack with the song "Drown."
"The album itself was always designed to be sort of an anti-soundtrack, more like a souvenir and a simple mix-tape of some of Seattle's finest," said Cameron Crowe. "It really is and was a tribute to those hard-working bands that welcomed me to their city with open arms, and the music so many still love so much. Anyway, here we are now revisiting 'Singles,' the film, as well as the soundtrack you hold in your hands, expanded with a special tip of the hat to the fans of the original release. Included are unreleased and raw elements that helped shape the experience of making the movie back in 1991. Hope you enjoy the trip back as much as I did - Viva Seattle!"
25 years ago, the film "Singles" and its soundtrack worked together to bring the underground Seattle music scene to the forefront of mainstream consciousness. The album was among the first top-selling movie soundtracks of the 1990s to showcase new material from emerging contemporary bands. The expanded edition of Singles: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is cause to celebrate anew the radical rock sounds that radiated out of the American Northwest a quarter century ago and changed pop music forever.LP 1

The Best Of Crow
Pure Rock N' Roll From The Midwest On 180 Gram Vinyl!
With a lowdown bass lick, uptown R&B horns and surging organ punctuating a catchy chorus, "Evil Woman (Don't Play Your Games With Me)" hit the Top 20 like a comet in 1969 and propelled Crow from Midwest club band into national touring act overnight. Thanks in part to covers by Black Sabbath and Ike and Tina Turner, it's one of the most recognizable hits of the era and, inexplicably, one of the few to not make the transition into the digital age. Until now.
Out of print for four decades, Crow's finest recordings are now available again on CD and 180-gram vinyl editions meticulously mastered from the original tapes. Long-suffering Crow fans can at last savor the best of the band's gritty run from 1969-1971, including not only "Evil Woman," but their other charting singles "Cottage Cheese," "Slow Down" and "(Don't Try to Lay No Boogie Woogie on the) King of Rock & Roll" -- not to mention deep album cuts like "Keeps Me Running." Both formats also feature a previously unreleased demo cover of the Beatles' "When I Get Home," and the CD edition adds a previously unreleased long version of "Cottage Cheese." ADAD-NET-0914xOld Crow Medicine Show
Deluxe Vinyl Gatefold Package Includes Bonus Red Colored 7" Vinyl
Featuring The Platinum Single "Wagon Wheel" Plus Two Previously Unreleased Tracks
Two-time Grammy Award winners and Grand Ole Opry members Old Crow Medicine Show release Best Of, which features
12 of the most memorable and beloved songs from O.C.M.S. (2004), Big Iron World (2006), Tennessee Pusher (2008) - as well
as two previously unreleased tracks: "Black Haired Quebecoise" and "Heart Up In The Sky." The album will be made
available on vinyl, a format on which none of these songs are currently available and many have never been.
Over the past 15 years, Old Crow Medicine Show has cultivated a diverse fan base that thrives on the band's energetic
performances. They have earned the respect of both their peers and influences while also influencing the new guard of
folk rock revivalists. While trends have come and gone, Old Crow Medicine Show continues to be a strong and steady
force in roots music. The Best Of is a nostalgic walk down memory lane for those who have been with the band since
the beginning, and a nice overview for those fans who have only discovered the band recently.
Old Crow Medicine Show got their start by busking on street corners up and down the east coast and Canada, eventually
catching the attention of folk icon Doc Watson while playing in front of a pharmacy in Boone, North Carolina. He invited
them to play Merlefest and helped set the course of their successful career.
Similarly, just a few years later, Nettwerk discovered the band by crashing a house party in Nashville. The band was signed
shortly after, and in 2004, Nettwerk released O.C.M.S., which featured the now Platinum-selling anthem "Wagon Wheel," one
of the most covered recordings in recent history, most famously by Darius Rucker who got the track to #1 on the Hot Country
Songs chart in 2013.
Old Crow Medicine Show has won over audiences across the world with their boundless energy and spirit, playing renowned
festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella, New Orleans Jazz Fest, the Newport Folk Festival, and many more. They've also shared
the stage with such artists as Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers, Willie Nelson, John Prine and The Avett Brothers and others.
The Best Of features "Wagon Wheel" along with other live show fan favorites like "Tell It To Me," "Down Home Girl," "CC Rider"
and "I Hear Them All." The two previously unreleased tracks, "Black Haired Quebecoise" and "Heart Up in the Sky" were
recorded in 2006 while the band was making Big Iron World.1. Wagon Wheel (from O.C.M.S. album)

August And Everything AfterCounting Crows' 1993 debut album released for the first time as an LP in the U.S.!
Double album cut at 45 RPM, plated and pressed by Quality Record Pressings - four sides maximize the recording's dynamic range
Mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound
Counting Crows put in the gigging hours during the early days of the band, and it paid off. By the time they signed to Geffen in 1993, they had already built up a significant fanbase. Their debut, August and Everything After, produced by T-Bone Burnett, was released later the same year and became an unexpected multi-platinum hit, partly as a result of the successful single Mr. Jones.
Although recorded to audio tape, the album was originally mastered for CD and featured a longer playing time than a standard LP. Thus Analogue Productions has reissued August and Everything After as a double LP set to maximize the dynamic range of this recording. This is the first time that the 'Crows multi-platinum smash has been released in the U.S. as an LP. Mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound.

Recovering The SatellitesFor their second album, Recovering the Satellites, Counting Crows crafted a self-consciously challenging response to their unexpected success. Throughout the record, Adam Duritz contemplates his loss of privacy and sudden change of fortunes, among other angst-ridden subjects. In one sense, it's no different from the subjects that dominated August and Everything After, yet his outlook is lacking the muted joy that made Mr. Jones into a hit. Similarly, the music is slightly more somber, yet the approach is harder and more direct, which gives even the ballads a more affecting, visceral feel.

A Crow Left Of The Murder...Double gatefold sets presented on 180-gram audiophile vinyl.
At the beginning of their career, Incubus was rightly lumped in with the legions of post-Korn alt metal/rap-rock bands swarming America in the latter days of the 20th century. But by their third album, 1999's Make Yourself, they had separated from the pack, as indicated by the presence of producer Scott Litt, best-known for his work with R.E.M. It signaled that the band was serious, and they began expanding their rap-metal template on that album and its follow-up, 2001's Morning View, completing their transition from juvenelia to maturity with 2003's Crow Left of the Murder. Switching from Litt to producer Brendan O'Brien, a man who has been with Pearl Jam longer than any of their drummers, Incubus has opted for a clean, crisp yet heavy sound which allows them to aggressively switch from crunching metallic riffs to jazzy prog interludes. It's an expansive musical vision charged with some righteous anger; although vocalist Brandon Boyd doesn't write explicit protests, there sure are enough allusions to social turbulence to make this the first politically aware alt metal album in many a year. This maturation is even more evident in the music, how the band actually swings on Zee Deveel, or how guitarist Michael Einzinger's jazz-influenced solos seem both carefully constructed and casually tossed off, or how Boyd's voice shifts from song to song (or during a song, as on the opening Megalomaniac, which sounds like a bizarre blend of Mr. Mister's Richard Page and John Lydon). All this maturation does mean that Incubus may shed some older fans, since the naked ambitions on this record are far removed from the earnest, angst-ridden earlier records, but so be it -- A Crow Left of the Murder... is far more interesting than any of their other records, or their peers'. At times, they may stretch themselves a little too far here, but the ambition is admirable and the achievements are tangible -- a real breakthrough for the band.

Crow AutumnCrow Autumn is the latest album by English composer Richard Skelton, who releases haunting and evocative music under a variety of guises through his own much-acclaimed Sustain-Release Private Press. From Clouwbeck to Heidika, Carousell to Riftmusic, his recordings brim with intensity and stark beauty, redolent of the landscapes that inspire them.
Recording here as A Broken Consort, his most prolific and successful pseudonym, Skelton expertly builds on the achievements of last year's Box Of Birch, creating a dense-yet-delicate weave of textures from a broad palette of acoustic instruments, including guitar, mandolin, piano, violin and accordion. The result is a stunning sequence of swells and eddies, culminating in the orchestral intensity of The River, with its torrent of interleaved violin melodies and seething undertow.
Originally released in two installments on the artist's own label, this special edition for Tompkins Square distills the essence of those recordings into a coherent whole, and augments them with new material, including the beautifully elegiac Like Rain, and the brooding coda of Leaves. With Crow Autumn, Skelton has created a work of enduring beauty that should firmly establish him as one of England's most uniquely talented contemporary artists, capable of rendering with a fine brush the visceral majesty of the natural landscape.1. Rain Crow"With a deep, come-hither voice" (Mother Jones) and an "ability to turn that throbbing, thumping uh-uhh hazy guitar beat" (PopMatters), the "King of Swamp Rock" Tony Joe White will release his 19th studio album, Rain Crow, on Yep Roc Records. Recorded at his own studio and produced by his son, Jody White, Rain Crow summons recollections of long ago, when animals foretold the weather, tongue-talking worshippers proved their faith by handling snakes and a "bad wind" could drive a man to edge of insanity.
The nine-song set features new compositions White wrote over the past three years, including co-writes with his wife, Leann, and Billy Bob Thornton on "The Middle of Nowhere." Crow Jane AlleyFirst Time On Vinyl
It's hard to get a handle on what to call Willy DeVille's multi-genre music, though AMG writer Thom Jurek's description of ''Spanish soul-inflected love songs'' comes close. ''Muddy Waters Rose Out of the Mississippi Mud'' would be perfect for Rusty Kershaw, God rest his soul, a nice complement to the laid-back cover of Jay & the Americans' Top Three hit from 1964, ''Come a Little Bit Closer'' -- its presentation a wonderful nod to songwriters Wes Farrell and Bobby Hart. The evolution is startling 28 years after Mink DeVille gave listeners ''Let Me Dream if I Want To'' on the classic punk LP Live at CBGB's, and DeVille emerges as a major interpreter. The four minutes and 31 seconds of Bryan Ferry's ''Slave to Love'' may be one of the most distinct and unique adaptations of a Ferry tune put on record to date. Outside of the covers, the other eight tracks are Willy DeVille originals, ''(Don't Have A) Change of Heart'' liberally borrowing the melody from Kenny Rogers' hit ''Lucille.'' ''Trouble Comin' Every Day in a World'' slinks and lurks around the corner with another stylistic change, sounding a bit like that other Willie from the same era, Bostonian Willie ''Loco'' Alexander. Crow Jane Alley is a very respectable collection from this journeyman, starting off with the single ''Chieva'' and continuing with DeVille's novel exploration of sound and clever merging of styles.1. The Southern Harmony And Musical CompanionThe addition of the more technically gifted guitarist Marc Ford and a full-time organist gives the Black Crowes room to stretch out on The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, perhaps the band's finest moment. Using Rich Robinson's descending chord progressions as a base, the band grooves its way through a remarkably fresh-sounding collection of Faces-like rockers and ballads, tearing into the material with flair and confidence and really coming into its own as a top-notch rock & roll outfit. But while the focus is undeniably on the band's musical chemistry, Southern Harmony also boasts a strong collection of songs, striking a perfect balance between the concise Shake Your Money Maker and their later, more jam-oriented records. While there aren't as many obvious singles as on their debut album, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is the best expression of the Crowes' ability to take a classic, tried-and-true sound and make it their own.

50 Years Of Blonde On Blonde (Live)The 14-track album, 50 Years of Blonde on Blonde, was recorded LIVE at the CMA Theater located inside the historic Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum located in Nashville, TN in May 2016. Mixed by GRAMMY Award-winning Ted Hutt and Ryan Mall.
Fifty years is a long time for a place like Nashville, Tennessee. Time rolls on slowly around here like flotsam and jetsam in the muddy Cumberland River. But certain things have accelerated the pace of our city. And certain people have sent the hands of the clock spinning. Bob Dylan is the greatest of these time-bending, paradigm-shifting Nashville cats, says Ketch Secor, the primary vocalist of the Old Crow Medicine Show.
By deciding to record his newly found rock n roll voice in 1966 Nashville, Bob swung the gates of Country music wide open; so wide, in fact, that 50 years later there was still enough of a crack left for Old Crow Medicine Show to sneak its banjos and fiddles through the gates with string band swagger.LP 1

RemedyOn September 17th, 2013 Old Crow Medicine Show received the great honor of being inducted as the newest members of the historic Grand Ole Opry.
Other highlights from the year included winning the Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video for the film Big Easy Express, and having their
classic single, Wagon Wheel, receive the RIAA's Platinum certification for selling over 1,000,000 copies.
The band got its' start busking on street corners in New York state and up through Canada, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy
and spirit. They eventually found themselves in Boone, North Carolina where they caught the attention of folk icon Doc Watson while playing in front of a
pharmacy. He immediately invited the band to play at his MerleFest, helping to launch their career. Shortly thereafter the band relocated to Nashville for a
residency at the Grand Ole Opry, where they entertained the crowd between shows.
It's been nearly fifteen years since these humble beginnings, and the band has gone on to tour the world, sell over 800,000 albums, become frequent
guests on A Prairie Home Companion, and play renowned festivals like Bonnaroo, Coachella, and the Newport Folk Festival.
In 2011 Old Crow found themselves embarking on the historic Railroad Revival Tour with Mumford and Sons, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic
Zeros. This tour had the bands riding a vintage train from California to New Orleans, playing shows along the way. The magic of this musical excursion
across America's vast landscape is captured in the Emmet Malloy directed documentary, Big Easy Express.
Old Crow Medicine Show now have four studio albums to their name, three of which were released by Nettwerk Records - O.C.M.S and Big Iron World
produced by David Rawlings, and Tennessee Pusher produced by Don Was. On their newest album, Carry Me Back, Old Crow continue to craft classic
American roots music while pushing themselves in new directions. Carry Me Back, released by ATO Records and produced by Ted Hutt, represents a
new stretch of road in the timeless journey of a rambling string band.1. Brushy Mountain Conjugal Trailer
