    Wonder

There's a certain humility and attitude of reverence that has long been giving birth to the undeniable excellence of Hillsong UNITED's music, and this has never been more evident than it is in the band's brand new album: Wonder. Filled with pulsing tempo, bright tones and colorful melodies, Wonder is a departure sonically from the band's contemplative 2015 release, Empires. Following a theme of awe and 'wonder,' the new album finds Hillsong UNITED more amazed by the awesomeness of grace than by their storied career and on-going list of accolades. The RIAA multi-platinum artists have been named Billboard's Christian Artist of the Year (2015 & 2016), received the American Music Award for Favorite Artist: Contemporary Inspirational (2016), and is the most followed Christian artist across all social media platforms with a collective total audience of over 9.1M.

Teeming with the lyrical imagery and vocal prowess that fans have come to expect from UNITED, Wonder is sure to be an instant classic. Featuring songs 'Future Marches In,' 'So Will I' and the energetic title track 'Wonder' fans are sure to be listening to this album for years to come.

The Jazz Soul Of Little Stevie

Detroit, Michigan's own Stevland Hardaway Morris - known to the world as Stevie Wonder - burst onto the scene in 1962 with this, his debut album, after being discovered by Ronnie White of The Miracles. Though it did not produce a hit, The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie showcases the immense songwriting and instrumental chops of the then 12 year old Wonder. Wonder plays keyboards, harmonica, and percussion here and the album includes the original studio version of Fingertips, whose live version (Fingertips Pt. 2) would become his first major national hit a year later. Own a piece of early Motown history with this glorious LP reissue of the debut LP from the legendary Stevie Wonder.

    Don't Be Long

Colored LP In Gatefold Packaging + CD

There are musicians and there are artists, Make Do And Mend are artists. They
don't write songs, they craft them. Multiple hours are spent on every lyric, and
every chord progression, you can hear the passion in every song. The band's
latest effort, "Don't Be Long", is no exception. All 11 songs are hand-crafted
masterpieces. You can tell after one listen that this is a record that will stay in
your collection for years to come.

The band chose to re-enlist producers, Jay Maas and Nick Bellmore, the
dynamic duo behind the band's debut success, "End Measured Mile". The
result is something truly special. It's an album that will be treasured by fans
and critics alike for years to come. No strangers to life on the road, Make Do
And Mend have toured with Hot Water Music, The Wonder Years, and Senses
Fail and, like always, the band is prepared to spend all year supporting this
    album on the road.

Make Do And Mend's live show is the ace up their sleeve, they connect with
their audience in a way that most bands aspire too. Every word is screamed
back at them, every bass drum hit is felt in the heart, and it's clear that there's
nowhere else anyone would rather be. Make Do And Mend isn't a band, they
are an experience, and "Don't Be Long" promises not to disappoint.

Transit believes music is about connecting with people and that's exactly what they do. Through the honesty and individuality expressed in their music, the North Shore Boston band has been able to connect with kids from their humble beginnings in the Northeast Pop-punk scene and nationwide as they have toured more and more. Through their relentless tour schedule and incredible work ethic, the band has shared the stage with artists such as Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, Senses Fail, Saves The Day, Four Year Strong, The Wonder Years and many more as well as a stint on the entire Vans Warped Tour.

When they released Listen & Forgive in fall of 2011 the band received accolades from the press for their ability to deliver a record that became an instant classic among their core fans but also transcended the genre, bringing the band to a much wider audience. With their 2nd Rise Records full length, Young New England, the band continues onward
and upward. Teaming up with Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly) as producer, the band has delivered their catchiest, most heartfelt record yet.

Every now and then a band comes along and speaks to the hearts of kids everywhere, as the true
voice of their generation. Man Overboard is that band in the pop-punk community . In an age
when overnight internet sensations are an everyday occurrence, it's hard to find a band that's
grown organically, the old fashioned way, via word of mouth and non-stop touring, winning kids
over one show at a time. Man Overboard has been busy touring the world for the past 5 years,
having shared the stage with the likes of Taking Backing Sunday, Bayside, New Found Glory, The
Wonder Years, and more. The bands buzz reached New Found Glory's guitar player Steve Klein who
fell in love with their infectious pop-punk sound and catchy choruses.

He was so impressed with the band that he offered to produce "Heart Attack" the bands second Rise Records release. Man Overboard is humbled by their success, but also know that they still have a long road ahead of
them. In the grand scheme of things, it's only the beginning. After drawing huge crowds on the
Vans Warped Tour last year the band was personally asked by tour founder Kevin Lyman to return
on a bigger stage this summer. Man Overboard is currently on a headline run that's doing sell out
business. Things are just about to tip for Man Overboard, regardless they continue to play every
show like it is their last, and treat every fan like their first.

Man Overboard is that band of the pop-punk community. These days, the number of bands becoming overnight Internet sensations is soaring. Ranked 284/500 on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Music of My Mind features a 21-year-old Stevie Wonder deploying an array of styles and influences including his earliest fusions of soul and rock. Originally released in 1972, the landmark album marked the first of five consecutive Stevie Wonder releases that would become hailed as his 'Classic Period.' Standout tracks like Superwoman (Where Were You When I Needed You), Happier Than The Morning Sun and the funky jam, I Love Everything About You are some of the first indicators of Wonder's true potential and ambitions as a trailblazing artist. Tribute to Uncle Ray

Wonder's second LP, recorded and released when he was only 12 years old, is a tribute to Ray Charles. As the original liner notes state, Little Stevie Wonder, Tamla's 11-year-old musical genius, is blind, a similarity he shares with a famed musician and vocalist of today. Though this is perhaps not the most subtle of tribute albums and a clear cash in attempt from Motown, who were still looking for a way to market their new-found talent, the results are still fantastic. Little Stevie powers his way through a grip of Charles' classics as well as some original songs done in the Charles style and while the LP failed to score a hit, it's an enjoyable listen that shows a glimpse of the super star talent that was soon to emerge.

Ruffneck (FULL Flex) video uploaded to YouTube 12/23/2011. Over 2.6 million views in less than two weeks.

The "remix companion" to Skrillex's successful EP Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites actually features two new tracks, including the opening highlight "First of the Year," which wonderfully shifts from the cute kind of fluff Boards of Canada might appreciate to a grinding dubstep monster threatening to turn the woofers inside-out. "Ruffneck (Flex)" is a dancehall-meets-jungle slammer in that Major Lazer style, then four mixes of the previous EP's title track finish things off with the best ideas coming from remixers Phonat (bringing back the sound of IDM in its heyday) and Kaskade (turning this stuff into bleepy, blissful house music).

    Sugarcoating

    Autographed

Given that Martin Sexton waited seven years after his album Wonder Bar to release Seeds, the fact that a mere three years passed between that disc and Sexton's next studio set, Sugarcoating, suggests something resembling urgency about getting these songs out to his fans. And if in many ways Sugarcoating follows a stylistic path that Sexton has pursued in the past, the title cut is certainly a surprise, a jazzy shuffle leavened with slide guitar and silky harmonies whose lyrics offer a pointed critique of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and how they were sold to the public, a blending of sweet and sour that recalls Phil Ochs' A Small Circle of Friends. . Sugarcoating is short on surprises, but the ones that are here work, and if you've liked Martin Sexton's work in the past, chances are this one will please you too. - All Music Guide

In 2009, the original plan for Lamb's Lou Rhodes and Andy Barlow was to play a handful of summer festivals. A year and a half and 33 shows later, they've recorded a new album: 5. Eight years after Between Darkness And Wonder, the inspirational fires have been rekindled and we get to reap the benefits of Lamb's creative reawakening.

The juxtaposition of beat driven programming submerged by an electronic framework and poetry set to transcendental singer/songwriter melodies is still at the heart of their sound, but the (solo) experiences of the past few years have added greater depth and strength to their sound. A welcome and warranted comeback.

This remastered 2LP reissue contains 2 bonus tracks, one of which with Damien Rice.

    Balmorhea

...an exemplary experiment in restraint, lush with
a slow-burning, wordless, and ambient Americana
that manages to captivate while avoiding the
    histrionics of its post-rock forebears.
    - THE NEW YORKER

...they create minimalist, cinematic music that
    combines modern, experimental acoustic sounds
    with classical qualities.
    - NPR

This - not steak finger baskets or soft-serve ice
cream - is what you should like about Texas.
    - The ONION / A.V. CLUB

Balmorhea flashes brilliance only to highlight a
slow-burning constancy that's at the core of one
of the year's early slow wonders.
    - PITCHFORK

For the past eight years the duo of Rob Lowe and Michael Muller have nurtured and refined
their creative partnership as the core members of the band Balmorhea. Though their first
album on Western Vinyl Rivers Arms (2008) garnered some remarkable press, their
self-titled debut, recorded in 2006 and released in 2007 best captures the duo's unique
magic as it first blossomed. With no label, distributor, manager, publicist, or booking agent
the duo quietly self-released their first recordings and started playing live shows. Now,
seven years later Western Vinyl is honored to have the opportunity reissue the band's
self-titled album, and make it available on vinyl for the first time ever.

In preparation for this special reissue, the audio was lovingly remastered, drawing out
even more of the nuances magnifying the sounds of Muller and Lowe's fingers on the
instruments, and teasing out the textures that set these recordings apart from the rest of
their catalog. Simple and sincere, these songs and ambient sounds the duo captured in
these recordings are strangely inviting. Throughout the album the distant sounds of Texas
grackles, the warm summer rain, the steady rhythm of crickets chirping, and creaking
wooden stools, all seeping in to cradle the notes in a restrained din of primordial wonder.

It's hard to imagine Western Vinyl without Balmorhea. After our fateful meeting in 2007,
we forged a deep and lasting relationship we're all grateful for. We met at an Austin performance on the eve of their first US tour in support of their recently self-released debut
album. Their show that night was one of the most powerful performances I'd ever seen,
and as I looked around the room, it was apparent that I wasn't alone. With the help of a
cellist the group briefly transformed the dingy lounge into a vibrant pulsing cell. I had
experienced deeply moving shows before, but the ecstatic emotions they conjured were
new to me. Calling it electrifying, might sound clichÉ, but as the hair on my arms and legs
stood at attention, my eyes squinted a bit with concentration, and my head cocked to the
right, the electricity that passed over me felt very real. Over the next few years I had the
pleasure of experiencing dozens of Balmorhea shows, each with a slightly different story
to tell. - Brian Sampson, Western Vinyl

    50th Anniversary Edition

First Time 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Presentation Of His Groundbreaking, Earth Shattering, Iconic 1963 Masterpiece

Mastered Impeccably By Joe Reagoso From The Original ATCO Records Tapes

John Lee Hooker was absolutely one of the most prolific and rhythmic pioneers of the blues scene for most of his life. Recording his first 78's in the forties and rapidly becoming one of the most in demand bluesmen of his time, Hooker was truly an American legend of our modern times.

With hundreds of songs and an untold amount of recordings and live performances throughout his
lifetime, John Lee Hooker was also one of the most revered and interpreted songwriters. Major recording acts like Canned Heat, Johnny Winter, Van Morrison, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, George Thorogood were all champions of this sorely missed icon.

Fifty years ago, ATCO Records released one of the most important albums of his career with Don't Turn Me From Your Door - John Lee Hooker Sings His Blues. The dozen gems that make up this rural blues event would go on to become some of his most famous tunes including the title track which was covered by numerous rock and blues artists over the years like Savoy Brown and the terrific blues wailing of Drifting Blues, the rockin' Real Real Gone and of course another brilliant standard with My Baby Don't Love Me.

The award winning giant of the blues continues with even more hard rockin' blues like Guitar Lovin' Man,
Wobbling Baby and his fan favorite Stuttering Blues.

Friday Music is no stranger to the artistry of the late great John Lee Hooker, and it is with much honor to announce the first time 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl 50th Anniversary release of his masterpiece Don't Turn Me From Your Door.

Impeccably mastered by Joe "Bluesman" Reagoso (John Lee Hooker/Canned Heat/Johnny Winter) from
the original ATCO Records tapes, John Lee Hooker's classic Don't Turn Me From Your Door will truly be one of the most anticipated blues releases of the year.

To make your limited edition listening experience all the more entertaining, we are also including the very rare album cover graphics for the first time in fifty years, which will truly enhance the wonderful blues within by the legendary John Lee Hooker.

    Getz Au Go Go

Although the name Stan Getz (tenor sax) was initially synonymous with the West Coast cool scene during the mid-to-late 1950s, he likewise became a key component in the Bossa Nova craze of the early 1960s. Getz Au Go Go (1965) is Stan Getz in his prime, recorded with perhaps one of the best quartets of his career, featuring Bossa Nova singer Astrud Gilberto.

The album was recorded in 1964 during two concerts in the venerable Greenwich Village venue, the CafÉ Au Go Go, two months after Astrud Gilberto's Girl From Ipanema became a Top Five pop single. However, the focus of Getz Au Go Go steers away from the Brazilian flavored fare, bringing Gilberto into the realm of a decidedly more North American style.

That said, there are a few Antonio Carlos Jobim compositions -- Corcovado (Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars) and One Note Samba -- both of which would be considered as jazz standards in years to follow. The album boasts wonderful versions of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein's It Might as Well Be Spring, and the scintillating instrumental Summertime, from Porgy & Bess.

The band features a young Gary Burton (vibraphone), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Gene Cherico (bass), and Joe Hunt (drums). There are a few personnel substitutions, with Helcio Milito (drums) and Chuck Israels (bass), respectively, filling in. Getz Au Go Go is highly recommended for all dimensions of jazz enthusiasts.

    Mi Sueno

Limited vinyl LP pressing. The Cuban singer Ibrahim Ferrer emerged as perhaps the most popular star of the Buena Vista Social Club phenomenon. World Circuit is proud to announce the release of his final album Mi Sueño (My Dream) the project he dreamed of realizing all his life - an album devoted to the most meltingly romantic of all Cuban styles - the bolero. Mi Sueño is an intimate arranged by Roberto Fonseca, the remarkable young pianist with whom he had developed a deep musical understanding. Recorded in Havana in 2004, the year before he died, with a wonderful small group that included Manuel Galbán on guitar and Cachaíto López on bass, the album is a very personal take on the bolero style - deeply traditional and at the same time startlingly modern. Full of passion and tenderness but still with an inimitable and irrepressible swing, Ibrahim sculpts familiar songs into fresh and atmospheric creations that are uniquely his own. As Ibrahim said, I have just one thing left to tell you all. We dream together and we will keep doing it. If my days ended tomorrow I would leave very satisfied in having achieved my wish, the wish was that dream: to sing a bolero. A labor of love and the realization of a dream, Mi Sueño presents Ibrahim Ferrer as one of the world's great bolero singers - the way he always wanted to be remembered.

    Still Climbing

Leslie West is set to releases his album Still Climbing in 2013 via Provogue Records / Mascot Label Group.

Originality, excitement, honesty and survival are all part of what makes a legend, and those qualities ripple through every song on the album. It's a testimonial to the strength and durability of West's artistry. Born October 22, 1945, as he approaches his 68th birthday, West has packed some of the most soulful and searing vocal performances of his half-century career into these 11 tracks. His guitar has never sounded more massive or riff-orientated.

What's different on Still Climbing is that I wanted my guitars to sound as big as I look. So I used four of my Dean Signature model guitars with my Mountain of Tone humbucking pickups. I plugged them into my Blackstar amps - no pedals - and turned them up loud and raw, and what you hear is exactly what I did in the studio. These Blackstar amps deliver everything I need without 'confidence' pedals. I played one of the early tracks we recorded for Slash, and he said, 'That is as heavy as it gets.'

Still Climbing is co-produced by West and Mike Metal Goldberg, who engineered all of the sessions. Songs like Dyin' Since The Day I Was Born, Hatfield or McCoy, and Busted, Disgusted or Dead establish a new litmus test for heavy.

The latter features West and Johnny Winter on duelling slide guitars. West also gave up smoking cigarettes and pot after a bout with bladder cancer, so it's no wonder many of Still Climbing's numbers explore the theme of survival and, ultimately, triumph. To that end, West avows, Not only am I lucky to be here, but because I stopped smoking my voice is now stronger than it's ever been - as strong as my guitar playing.

His inclusion of Feeling Good, a song by British actor-musician Anthony Newley that was made famous by Steve Winwood's group Traffic, is a testimonial to all of that. Its lyrics celebrate a new dawn for me as West and his long-time buddy Dee Snider (Twisted Sister) trade vocal lines.

West has always been an outstanding vocalist, earning comparisons to soul legends like Otis Redding since his 1969 debut Mountain, which gave his historic band its name. On Still Climbing West revisits the catalogue of another classic soul man, Percy Sledge, with the enduring When a Man Loves a Woman. He's joined by now 32 year-old soul man Jonny Lang, who he met 15 years ago when Lang was a rising guitar prodigy. West says they cut the tune side-by-side in the studio, their soaring guitars and voices twining to bring fresh blood and a blues-soaked arrangement to the song.

When a Man Loves a Woman, Never Let Me Go and Fade Into You explore a romantic theme. In 2009 West married his wife Jenni, who co-wrote many of Still Climbing's songs with the guitar giant.

Balls, guts, heart - more words that are part of West's legend and describe the roaring crescendos and deep emotional roots of Still Climbing - and West himself. You know, when it comes to talent, we don't all move at the same rate of speed, West muses. Some people start at the top of their game and after 10 or 20 years you wonder what the hell happened to them. I like to joke that the older I get the better I used to be, but after giving up drugs and smoking, my voice can hit notes that I never could reach before. I'm thankful for that.

    Down Side Up

Old Man Markley present their sophomore album, Down Side Up, a cohesive, foot tapping, stomping, 13-song album produced by Fat Mike and singer Johnny Carey.

Fiddler Katie Weed says of the album, The songs on "Down Side Up" are the result of a wonderful confluence of things: of touring for years and waking up together in cities across the world, of discovering new worlds while still missing home, of stories that we've wanted to tell for ages, of melodies that permeated our minds and then soundchecks, and of songs that took shape and life truly as a collaboration between band members. Fat Mike and Johnny worked closely with the band to produce what we think is the best album we've ever been a part of. And it happened to be recorded in the same room where we used to burn stove-top popcorn and drink beer and dream about how amazing it would be if we could turn this passion into a life, or even career. We lived, breathed, ate, and slept these songs. Several members literally lived in the studio that we built. Recording in our own studio provided almost unbridled freedom: unlimited opportunity to tweak the songs, and the luxury of being able to take creative risks. Harmonies conceived and recorded at 3 AM or solos re-recorded during lunch became the norm, and allowed us myriad options and creative control. Where else but in the OMM home studio could we lay down a ripping distorted autoharp track and then pop outside to the backyard to record the crickets of Van Nuys?
