    Schizophrenia (Awaiting Repress)

    Transparent Blue Vinyl

    Limited To 1500 Copies

Brazilian death metal upstarts Sepultura took an incredible creative leap forward with their second full-length album, 1987's Schizophrenia. Although it was recorded not too long after their primitive, black metal-dominated debut efforts -- 1985's Bestial Devastation EP and 1986's Morbid Visions LP -- Schizophrenia introduced an entirely new sound fusing thrash and death metal, and all of it supported by much improved songwriting, musicianship, and the first truly professional-sounding production job of the band's short career. Constant touring, rehearsal, and the addition of lead guitarist Andreas Kisser (his classical guitar training and memorable solos made an immediate impact) were all key to this stunning transformation, but the heightened level of proficiency at hand is such that it almost seems miraculous at times. With their precise, lightning-quick staccato riffing and multiple, distinct, but interlocking sections, the album's opening triplet of From the Past Comes the Storm (preceded by a Psycho-inspired intro theme), To the Wall, and Escape from the Void proved simply devastating to the ears. And yet the seven-minute instrumental Inquisition Symphony (later covered by Finnish cello virtuosos Apocalyptica) was arguably even more breathtaking in its diversity, brilliantly showcasing the band's incredible, new-found combination of melody and aggression while adding some tasteful synth touches, to boot. Additional head-banging standouts like Screams Behind the Shadows and a re-recorded version of early fan favorite Troops of Doom bookend a few less distinctive offerings on side two -- those being token thrashers Septic Schizo and R.I.P. (Rest in Pain), plus the acoustic interlude The Abyss, but only a trifling of momentum is lost, nevertheless. All of which helped make Schizophrenia the first Sepultura release to make serious waves with international critics and fans, while setting the stage for the group's imminent breakthrough release, Beneath the Remains.

    Feed Me Violence

Let down your hair and rip off your shirt, Speed Metal is back! With lustful joy, the Belgians of EVIL INVADERS wallow in those mad days of early Metallica and Slayer, when Thrash Metal was marked with speed and metal's madness was bigger than the Beatlemania. Their second monstrosity of an album is called Feed The Violence and delivers true Thrash Metal in its rawest strength: wasted and wild, lightning-swift and erratic! Full-throated Heavy Metal-screams that would make Rob Halford proud shoot over electrifying whirlwinds of solo guitars. Prepare yourself for massive divebombs and a grim beating snare drum! A must-have for every guitar-freak that hails Dimebag Darrell and Randy Rhoads.

    Terrible Certainty

Remastered Versions By Andy Pearce And Overseen By Mille Petrozza

Contains Kreator's Out Of The Dark... Into The Light EP As Well As Live Tracks Record At Dynamo Club, Eindhoven, Netherlands, In 1988

1987's Terrible Certainty did nothing to dent the perception that Kreator was one of the genre's best bands, and for once, Petrozza had a little time to work out the songs beforehand. Kreator beefed up to a quartet once again with the addition of guitarist J├Ârge Trebziatowski. This version also contains the Out of the Dark... Into the Light EP which was originally released in 1988. The live tracks were recorded at Dynamo Club, Eindhoven, Netherlands, in 1988.

Formed in Essen, Germany in 1982, Kreator is arguably the most influential and successful European thrash metal band ever, like many of their European speed metal brethren, Kreator fused Metallica's thrash innovations with Venom's proto-black metal imagery. Kreator has been referred to as one of the Big 4 of Teutonic thrash metal, and they are often credited with helping pioneer death metal and black metal by containing several elements of what was to become those genres. The band has achieved worldwide sales of over two million units for combined sales of all their albums, making them one of the best-selling German thrash metal bands of all time. Kreator's style has changed several times over the years, from a Venom-inspired speed metal sound, later moving into thrash metal, and including a period of transitioning from thrash to industrial metal and gothic metal throughout the 1990s. In the early 2000s, Kreator returned to their classic thrash sound, which has continued to the present.

Contains Two Of The Band's Original Demos (Blitzkrieg [1983] & The Other End Of The World [1984]) From When They Were Still Known As Tormentor

Endless Pain was released in October 1985 by Noise Records. It was a savage debut; its crude thrashing quickly had the underground metal world abuzz with excitement. This album has been known to be viewed as a pivotal album to black metal bands that enjoy thrash metal elements, ultimately creating a thrash-influenced black metal sound. This version also contains the band's original demos when they were still known as Tormentor, one fittingly named Blitzkrieg (1983), and the other End of the World (1984). These fell into the hands of thousands of heavy metal fans engaging in the era's bustling underground tape-trading network. Positive word of mouth soon attracted the attention of Germany's own metal start-up, Noise Records, which signed the newly re-christened Kreator to a deal. This album presented in LP format contains remastered versions by Andy Pearce and overseen by Mille Petrozza. New art has been created packed with rare photos and memorabilia and notes by Mille and Malcolm Dome (Metal Hammer) talking about the creation of the albums.

Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? (Awaiting Repress)

A bona-fide thrash metal masterpiece, Peace Sells...But Who's Buying? combines a punkish political awareness with a dark, threatening, typically heavy metal worldview and it remains one of the most powerful and contagious thrash records of the era. It catapulted Megadeth into the mainstream music scene and earned them worldwide attention from both critics and the heavy metal community alike. Packed With Rare Photos And Memorabilia And Notes By Mille And Malcolm Dome (Metal Hammer) Talking About The Creation Of The Albums

Contains Kreator's Flag Of Hate EP

Pleasure To Kill, the second studio album by Kreator, was released in November 1986 originally by Noise Records. The lyrical themes follow those found on their first album. Unleashed in 1986 and still considered the band's first classic album, Pleasure to Kill raised the bar with more diversity of tempos and greater attention to technical execution while losing nothing in terms of ferocity or speed. The band closed out the year with the Flag of Hate EP (named after a re-recorded version of their earliest hit) which is included on this version. Many death metal bands cite this album as an influence. Pleasure To Kill is widely considered a thrash classic. It is also considered a landmark album in the history of thrash metal along with Master of Puppets by Metallica, Reign In Blood by Slayer and Darkness Descends by Dark Angel, all released in 1986.

Formed in Essen, Germany in 1982, Kreator is arguably the most influential and successful European thrash metal band ever, like many of their European speed metal brethren, Kreator fused Metallica's thrash innovations with Venom's proto-black metal imagery. 1983's Show No Mercy was the album that started it all for the thrash mercanaries and the album ultimately helped inaugerate in the speed and thrash metal movement of the '80s and the extreme metal underground of the '90s. Slayer incorporated the faster, darker elements of Judas Priest and melded it with the punk brutality of Motorhead and its apparent from the the all out assault of the opener Evil Has No Boundaries to the last note of the title track closer that they were a band to be reckoned with. Doomsday For The Deceiver

Gatefold double vinyl - 1000 only limited edition!

Flotsam & Jetsam recorded their debut album in Los Angeles with producer/Metal Blade Records' Brian Slagel. The original release of Doomsday for the Deceiver was in July of 1986 and it was the first in Kerrang! Magazine history to achieve their highest 6K rating. Bassist Jason Newsted, who was also the band's main lyric writer, departed soon after to join Metallica, replacing deceased bassist Cliff Burton. Doomsday for the Deceiver is yet another feather in the cap of Metal Blade Records; a seminal thrash metal release that was way ahead of its time.

Remastered Versions By Andy Pearce And Overseen By Mille Petrozza

    Featuring New Art

Packed With Rare Photos And Memorabilia And Notes By Mille And Malcolm Dome (Metal Hammer) Talking About The Creation Of The Albums

Contains A Show Recorded In Berlin In 1990 That Showcases The Band In Full Flight

The fourth album by Kreator, Extreme Aggression, was released in 1989. This album introduced many American fans to Kreator, primarily through heavy rotation of the Betrayer music video on MTV's Headbangers Ball, which was partly shot at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. On Extreme Aggression, Kreator closes the '80s by delivering their final thrash triumph with the most hallowed Kreator line-up joining forces once again to follow up the spectacular Terrible Certainty. The results are fierce and noisy on this 1989 Epic release. Extreme Aggression quickly became their biggest seller yet, and the subsequent North American tour with Suicidal Tendencies introduced the band to many new friends. This version contains a show recorded in Berlin in 1990 that showcases the band in full flight.

Voivod is a Canadian heavy metal band from Quebec that formed in 1982. They started out as a speed metal band while adding a mix of progressive and thrash metal to create their own unique style. They were one of the first thrash bands from Canada to receive international acclaim. The band has released eleven studio albums and a number of EPs, live albums, demos, and DVDs. The band is still touring and are set to release a new album in 2017.

The band's third full album perfectly reinforces their image of a post-apocalyptic wasteland set against a thrashing-punk-speed-metal soundscape. It was released on Noise Records in 1987. This definitive re-issue of VOIVOD's Killing Technology is a must-have item for any fan of this unique and ground-breaking Progressive Metal band.
