The tracks are all presented in their original single version, many of which have been unavailable for many years and not presented outside of the original 7 release.

The triple vinyl comes packaged in a trifold sleeve and decorated with a beautiful spot gloss lamination and is designed by the award-winning Julian House from Intro, a longtime design collaborator of Can's.

a timely reminder of just how much
the Jaxx have turned dance music in- side out and the nonchalant ease with

With an intoxicating, genre-blending sound, provocative and uncompromising songs, and the mesmerizing power of singer Jim Morrison's poetry and presence, The Doors had a transformative impact not only on popular music but on popular culture. The Doors' arrival on the rock scene in 1967 marked not only the start of a string of hit singles and albums that would become stone classics, but also of something much bigger - a new and deeper relationship between creators and audience. They released six studio albums in all, as well as a live album and a compilation, before Morrison's death in 1971. Their electrifying achievements in the studio and onstage were unmatched in the annals of rock. In the decades since The Doors' heyday, the foursome has loomed ever larger in the pantheon of rock - and they remain a touchstone of insurrectionary culture for writers, activists, visual artists and other creative communities.

Post-Nothing, Japandroids' critically acclaimed debut full-length, set a course for the band that landed them on over 30 year-end lists including Pitchfork, Spin, Stereogum, NME and many more. Prior to Post-Nothing's release, Japandroids released two five-song EPs on CD-R. The EPs were limited to 500 copies and quickly fell out of print. The companion piece to Post-Nothing, No Singles compiles these two EPs into one album. Meticulous packaging designed by the band includes a 32-page booklet with liner notes detailing Japandroids' early history, complete with rare photos and show fliers. Singles Collection

As the creator of both surf and hot rod music and one of the most influential guitarists ever to plug in, turn up and utterly destroy a fretboard, Dick Dale has long been revered by countless music lovers and musicians around the world; Jimi Hendrix and the Beach Boys, to name a few. Rightfully called the 'King of the Surf Guitar,' Dale pioneered the use of speed and volume and boldly forged the way for garage rock, punk and heavy metal. From the stuttering thump of Let's Go Trippin' to the wildly whipping, Middle Eastern flurry of Miserlou and beyond, Sundazed's sizzling round-up of Dick Dale & His Del-Tones' landmark 1960s singles, each sourced from the original mono singles masters, captures Dale in all of his string-shredding, reverb-soaked glory.

    Original Sun Singles 1956-60

The incendiary singles Jerry Lee Lewis cut for Sun Records in the mid 1950s and early 1960s left a footprint on the face of popular music and forged the backbone of rock 'n' roll itself. Which means that when it comes to rock 'n' roll, it doesn't get any more essential than Sundazed's roundup of 28 of the Killer's rowdiest, raunchiest and most rollicking Sun sides such as Great Balls of Fire, Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On, Crazy Arms, Breathless and many more. Sundazed's high definition 2-LP vinyl edition of Jerry Lee Lewis' original Sun singles are sourced from the analog mono masters.

    The Monument Singles Collection

Roy Orbison is often credited with having one of the most powerful voices in Rock 'n Roll.

He certainly had one of the most distinctive ones; yet his operatic quavering and impressive range were used to portray a quiet and desperate vulnerability that was foreign to most of his rebelling, sex, drugs & rock'n'roll contemporaries.

This vulnerability is probably why he was so very popular in the '60s, and why after a dip of almost twenty years he could easily reclaim his prominence in the '80s. When David Lynch (in)famously used his song 'In Dreams' in Blue Velvet the public - and Roy himself - learned that there was a different side to his sultryness, and interest in his music was renewed. To celebrate what would have been his 75th birthday Music On Vinyl is releasing The Monument Singles Collection, with amongst others "Only The Lonely", "Crying", and of course "Pretty Woman".

    Features Fully Remastered Tracks

Includes Rare Photos & Poster Artwork

Features Extensive Sleeve Notes By Francis Gooding, An Interview With Saturn Records Founder Alton Abraham By John Corbett & Detailed Track-By-Track / Session Notes By Paul Griffiths

Strut & Art Yart present a new definitive collection of singles released by jazz maverick Sun Ra during his Earth years, spanning 1952 to 1991. Released prolifically during the 1950s and more sporadically thereafter, primarily on the Saturn label, the 45s offer one-off meteorites from Ra's prolific cosmic journey, tracing the development of his forward-thinking "Space-Bop" and his unique take on jazz and blues traditions which sounded unlike anything else from the period. As with his LPs, most 45s were only pressed in small runs and were sold at gigs and have since become extremely rare and sought after. Some have only been discovered in physical form in recent years; some were planned and penciled but allegedly never made it to vinyl and some appeared as one-off magazine singles and posthumous releases.

This release features fully re-mastered tracks, rare photos, poster artwork, extensive sleeve notes by Francis Gooding, an interview with Saturn Records founder Alton Abraham by John Corbett and detailed track by track and session notes by Paul Griffiths.

One of the best-available Isaac Hayes compilation, Greatest Hit Singles bypasses a couple of his later disco hits, but the result is a more unified sound that helps illustrate why Hayes was so important to the development of '70s soul...for a more concentrated dose of Hayes at his best, Greatest Hit Singles is hard to beat. - Steve Huey, allmusic.com

    The Columbia Singles '67

When Mr. Tambourine Man first rumbled out of car radio speakers in 1965, it was a pivotal moment in pop history. With its jangling 12-string and epic sweep, it was the dawn of a new day: the birth of folk-rock.
And the Byrds were just getting started. The next two years saw one hit after another, from the Biblical prophesies of Turn, Turn, Turn to the raga-rock of Eight Miles High, from the exotic orchestration of So You Want To Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star to the Byrds bringing it all back home with My Back Pages.
Here they are again, 30 landmark recordings in their perfectly constructed, radio-friendly mono mixes: the forgotten rarities, withdrawn singles and, of course, all the original A and B-sides. No one has ever had a stronger run of singles than did the Byrds in their prime. No one.

    The MGM Singles

These days, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs are best remembered for such infectious 60s hits as Wooly Bully and Lil Red Riding Hood, and for the sartorial splendor of turbaned frontman/organist Sam the Sham (nÉe Domingo Samudio) and his bandmates. But the one-of-a-kind Memphis-by-way-of-Texas quintet produced a large and highly original body of R&B/blues/Tex-Mex/garage tunes that established them as one of the greatest singles bands of the 1960s. While the bands wacky humor and flamboyant visual image may have threatened to brand them as a novelty act, their raw exuberance, rootsy grit and playfully subversive streak made it clear that Sam and his Pharaohs were the genuine article.

Throughout the second half of the 60s, Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs turned out a lengthy string of killer seven-inchers. Many of those singles boasted non-album B-sides that were as memorable as their better-known A-sides. Now, for the first time ever, Sundazed Music has gathered both sides of every one of the bands original MGM Records singles on this lovingly packaged 2-LP collection. The sizzling set includes such immortal Pharaohs classics as Wooly Bully, Lil Red Riding Hood, Ju Ju Hand, Ring Dang Doo, Red Hot, The Hair on My Chinny Chin Chin, How Do You Catch a Girl and (Im in With) The Out Crowd, along with an amazing assortment of rare non-album B-sides, solo efforts and side projects. These long-out-of-print gems have been sourced from the original MGM masters and sound better than ever!!!

    Singles Breaking Up

By no means a release of new or current Don Cab material (and originally released in 1999), Singles Breaking Up (Vol. 1) offers quite a range of the band's history to appreciate. The oldest recordings found here are programs 1-6 which became the first two singles and a b-side for the fourth. They were recorded in a 1/2 inch 8 track studio by Lee Hollihan of Valencia, PA (the original Good Morning Vietnam man) for only $25 an hour. The next batch, 7-9, were recorded by Steve Albini in his once home studio and were a part of the For Respect Sessions. Program 10 was also recorded in this same studio by colleague engineer Bob Weston. Program 11 was recorded in Detroit by engineer Al Sutton and was a part of the sessions for Don Caballero 2. Lastly, programs 12-13 were recorded again by Steve Albini in the B room portion of this Chicago studio Electrical Audio. The photographic art concept for the whole anthology is simply this: 7-inch phonograph singles breaking up, in the kind of setting of giving Abby Road back to the people.

    Pure Cult Singles Compilation

Released domestically for the first time, remastered and with reworked art. Pure Cult is a definitive compilation, bringing together all of The Cult's singles such as She Sells Sanctuary, Fire Woman and more.

The Cult, unlike its predecessor bands the Southern Death Cult and the Death Cult, was unapologetic about its mainstream rock & roll aspirations, which makes Pure Cult the best possible starting place for the group. The Cult was a singles band, and a pretty great one, too, as evidenced by the Stones-like Love Removal Machine and the blazing Fire Woman.

The ensemble's mixture of '60s influences and hard-rock power helped define a whole subset of the late-'80s alternative-rock scene, and it's fair to say that groups like Stone Temple Pilots owed at least some of their success to the Cult's early flirtations with the rock mainstream. Pure Cult gives a good sense of the band's surprisingly organic shift in sound, ranging from the gothy neo-psychedelia of She Sells Sanctuary to the sneering rock of Star.

    Original Sun Singles '55-'58

To hear Johnny Cashs swaggering Sun Records-era material is to marvel at one of the primal source-streams of what was fast becoming the headwaters of rock n roll. Cashs craggy, lunch-bucket vocals on gleaming original versions of songs like Cry! Cry! Cry!, Get Rhythm, Big River, and I Walk the Line, backed by the signature guitar style of Luther Perkins and Marshall Grants steady bass, are really just the tip of the iceberg corralled on this stunning collection. Folsom Prison Blues, Hey Porter, and So Doggone Lonesomeand plenty more just as exciting offer still more rock-solid cornerstones of the Johnny Cash legend, an edifice that will stand as long as the pharaohs pyramids.

In this short span of time, Reatard has cranked out more memorable songs than some acts do in their whole careers -- Pitchfork

For the six months leading up to this release, Matador has put out a limited edition 7-inch by Memphis boy wonder Reatard. Each generated more attention, but was released in a progressively more limited run, starting with 3,500 copies for the first and ending with 400 copies for the sixth. This package collects all six (excluding the Deerhunter track on #4), plus one extra song. Each tune is a perfect snarling pop-punk gem.

Includes 7" Sized 20-Page Color Booklet With Liner Notes

The first Who release of 2016 sees the culmination of the band's incredibly well received series of 7" single boxsets. The Swan Singles Collection 1963-1967

The crunching, smack-in-your-face power chords driving hard rock's thundering heart can be traced directly back to Link Wray.

His pulverizing sound forged a new path for rock 'n' roll guitar, and he was never more
lethal than during his 1963-1967 tenure at Philadelphia-based Swan Records.

Link unleashed some of the nastiest licks of his phenomenal recording career on the mighty Swan seven-inchers, all of which are corralled on this Sundazed double 180gm gatefold edition, in crunchily accurate sound courtesy of the original mono master tapes!
